Eat Here Now New York Reviews
We first came here as we wound our way for an afternoon at The Frick. Of all the places we've had breakfast/brunch in NYC, this place has the best eggs. There was taste in every bite of my omelet and my partner's over easy was perfect. A week later we are here again as we head to the Cooper Hewitt. When we walked our server not only remembered us and where we sat but also what we ordered. We had only been here once before and a week earlier. Most impressed. Looking for a quick bite before hitting the UES museums and galleries this is the place to start your day!
Love this place which is clearly a local favorite. A smattering of men reading newspapers and talking with staff like they were old friends. Just the kind of place I love to find when visiting another city. Great breakfast options including the classic egg sandwich. Bagel perfectly toasted, cheese perfectly melted over the scrambled egg. Coffee flowing! Highly recommend you pay a visit! Plenty of booth seating…my favorite.
Ah, the good old New York diner! The service was out of this world -- the speed and warmth of the staff were key to the perfect diner experience (along with super fresh fruit and tasty omelettes).
Food was awesome! The breakfast potatoes were the best I've had. Crispy bacon and well done eggs, just like we asked for. Really good chocolate chip pancake. It was busy and the waitress was still cheerful. Loud and tight inside but was a perfect breakfast experience and we could get breakfast after 11 when we couldn't other places.
Amazing food, fast service, well located. Luis and Caroline were amazing, outstanding. Food is well priced. Coffee was one of the best so far (for a regular coffee). Potatoes were unique (not the regular hash browns). Bacon super crispy, loved it !!
Most diners can best be described as basic. They cover the bare minimum of quality and service, and your typical customer will accept it. There are no surprises, good or bad, so the experience will be similar to any other diner. Eat Here Now is not your basic diner. Granted, their menu isn't the size of a paperback book, but what they offer covers whatever you're looking for. The service is where EHN shines. On top of efficiency, the staff is friendly without being too solicitous. If you're in the neighborhood and don't want to visit a more formal and expensive restaurant, consider Eat Here Now
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eat Here Now, and it was such a wonderful experience! The diner has an incredibly authentic feel it’s cozy, welcoming, and has that classic charm you don’t often find anymore. We really enjoyed everything about our visit. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and comforting, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and truly enjoy your meal. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a genuine diner experience!
I am absolutely a big fan of this place. The first time I came here was in 2019 when my 25th birthday landed on thanksgiving. My sister and I stumbled upon it so we stopped in for breakfast. They were really nice, the service was quick, and the portions were great. Also super affordable within the city! I wanted to stop in on my 30th birthday this year which once again fell on thanksgiving. I was with my other sister and the situation was the same. Super nice, quick, great portions, and affordable. We also loved their food and ate every bite. This is now my favorite place in the city and I’m excited to go back every year from now on!
It’s been awhile since I came to dine to one of my favorite restaurant in the city. Been greeted by the owner with his excellent customer service as well as taking my order making sure things are okay, as I’m having my coffee see one of the old timers waiters, always friendly with a happy smile. My food was brought by such a charming waitress lady that it does make a difference how she’s greeted me and placed my food on the table. I asked if I could take some pictures since I don’t come here that often. I highly recommended this restaurant when ever you are in the city.
Eat here now is mid. Nothing really stands out just a normal dinner good food. Not going to blow you away nothing really worth posting but wasn’t bad. I had a bacon egg and cheese and it was ok could have been way better but I don’t think it’s here for that the omelette was ok also. Overall just cool dinner downtown staff was friendly but it’s not like they make you feel at home Seemed like there was some regulars there and the vibe seemed the same for everyone. Nothing stood out but nothing was bad Wouldn’t go out my way to come here but won’t be disappointed if you in the area and stop for breakfast. Like always hope you enjoyed this review my bill was $44 for a bacon egg and cheese and a western omelette not bad in my eyes Follow me on IG @imbroke_rob & @imbroke_eats Again thanks for the follows and support Let me know if you come and what did you get
Let me tell you I got to say this was quite expensive, but I think what you do as you order the potato salad and then pretend to eat it for a while and then you get like 12 packets of Domino’s sugar put into the water. This is a great experience if you ask for a straw.
Food was ok but very small BLT. had to share a tiny plate of cut pickles with the other person who ordered a BLT. It was crowded and we were kicked out of our seats the moment we finished eating. The waiter literally took our glasses and half full coffee cups away. Way too expensive for what you get. Paid almost $70 for two tiny BLTs and one egg Benedict. Not going back.
