The cookies which are baked fresh daily are soft and pillowy with huge chocolate chips Fresh Basils new cafe is just what the neighborhood needed and is a great extension of the Cassiano’s brand they also have sandwiches and other tasty treats! Ill definitely be back

I've only ordered delivery through GrubHub, where Fresh Basil's has a 4.8 out of 5 star with 4.5K ratings! They very much deserve it! Excellent meals at a good value, made with fresh ingredients that aren't overcooked. Highly recommended!
The food is absolutely delicious, divine, wowzers. I have to assume the 3.7 rating is coming from competitors, because there is noway on earth to give the food less than 5 stars. I did takeout only. Im in love with this place.

I don't usually write reviews, but this time I had to! I have been ordering the penne alla vodka with chicken and it is so so good! the portions are great and it comes with a garlic know and parmesan cheese. So I give this place 5 stars, delivery is always on time and the food so far is delicious
I have never dined there or had to call so I don’t know how the service is but i ‘ve ordered 7 times so far and never had an issue. Delivery time is usually about 30 mins but i leave relatively close to them. And the food has been super delicious every single time. And i also love their seamless menu. They give you so many options for substitutes and extras.
Some of the best pasta I have eaten. Try the smoked Mozzarella and Italian sausage, you won't regret it. The grilled chicken has a lot of flavor, and the vegetables are always fresh. Very generous portions too.

i've enjoyed the food and the un-trendy atmosphere in this restaurant for many years. i long thought it rated mention in the regular zagat's, so i'm happy to see it at least get some recognition, now.

This is not a true italian food. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and I received linguine with fettuccine sauce. I only see this happen in "fake" italian restaurants. They also over charged me, the menu listing was $16 and I was charged with tax $21. The place is always empty which should have been my first warning. I south this place will stay open very long.
The guy over the phone is very rude and seemed annoyed that I was making an order for delivery. I’m not sure if it’s a language barrier but he was very impatient and it was very impolite of him to hang up after I asked him for the total on my order. 2 stars because the pasta is actually good but I will NEVER order from here again! 👎

I ordered from this restaurant tonight from DoorDash. The total was $52.96. I called the restaurant literally 2 minutes, after placing the delivery order. The rude guy from the restaurant answers the phone and screams at me. WE ARE CLOSED!!! Call Doordash and he hung the phone up on me. The money was taking out of my checking account. This is blatant stealing from the customer, between DoorDash and the merchant. This has happened to me before with this same restaurant, but on the seamless grubhub app. I wanted to give this restaurant another try. After the way, I was treated by the restaurant and DoorDash, I will NEVER give my business to either company. If you want to take a chance on delivery, and the restaurant not fulfilling your delivery order and stealing your money, then go ahead but this is illegal and infuriating at the same time.
Ordered through Grubhub. Just wanted plain pasta and when there was confusion on it I called to get the order remade. Guy was such a jerk - escalating quickly and becoming belligerent. Wouldn't process a rebate and he was so nasty I wouldn't want any food from them as I'd be concerned about food safety. GrubHub called and they refused a refund as well. Never order from these guys as their customer service is awful.
I ordered a caesar salad and pasta alfredo from grubhub. I could make better sauce from a supermarket bottle. It was tasteless, plastic and horrible. When the restaurant was contacted by grubhub, their solution was to remake it, redeliver it, and pick up the other dish. Why? So I'd get another tasteless, plastic meal?! Run from this place.
FOOD POISONING! Look up "Sherwood to go" (it's the same place) on the NYC health dept restaurant grade website, and check out their violations - a C letter grade with 42 violation points!! And I wonder why I got food poisoning. They should be shut down!!!!
