Ji Bei Chuan New York Reviews
Ji Bei Chuan Noodles is such a great spot! The noodles are perfectly chewy, the broth is rich and flavorful, and the portions are generous. Every bowl feels comforting and satisfying. The chili oil and toppings add the perfect kick. The place has a simple, cozy vibe, and the service is fast and friendly. Definitely a go-to for anyone craving authentic, hearty noodles.
Very clean and modern atmosphere. Staff are welcoming and talkative. My wife got a weird plastic thing in her soup, and the staff gave her a complimentary dish. The Supreme Maw Fish Chicken Noodle was amazing, and I highly recommend it. The soup base is very flavorful and they are not scared to give a lot of veggies and meat. The noodles are also very soft and smooth, while the chicken is tender. The prices are also very reasonable for the amount they give. Amazing restaurant and hoping to come back soon.
An excellent bowl of hot soup with chewy rice noodles and veggies was perfect on a super cold winter day. I loved the mushroom broth with silken tofu and veggies. Definitely warmed my belly up and was ready to step out back to the cold. Great attentive service and the tea on the house was sugar free jasmine tea which was lovely.
When I say this place is good, I mean it's good Had lunch here yesterday, service was exemplary, beyond imagination. The food was just as great, their entire menu looks absolutely delicious, and had a vegan section which was amazing. The food came hot, so hot that the utensils sizzled while touching the bowl so be careful. They give you extra bowls so you can take out your noodles and have a portion cool down while you eat— if that makes sense. They also have special deals as well. The pricing is great and you get a great amount from what you pay for. They also walk around and are available if, lets say you want to pack up your food to go. The wait for the food can be long at times, depending on how busy they are. The waiters/cashiers are super nice, they have a smile on them. The place is clean, very decorative, and would love to come back again. Definitely a photo worthy place. I only took photos of the food(which looked super nice) but the setup around is also great! 10/10 recommended PS: If you do order beef, it can cook by itself because of how hot the soup comes in, just push it down for a bit :)
Super casual and delicious restaurant. The noodle bowl was huge, not cheaping out on any ingredients. I feel like they put too much, which is great! And for that price, you finish very satisfied. I personally loved the tofu appetizer because I love tofu. The fish maw chicken broth was so flavorful and since winter is coming, this is the right place to eat.
An amazing new noodle place in Chinatown! Prices are a little high for the area, but you get a much cleaner dining area, the decor is immaculate, the food amazing, and the service friendly and welcoming. I tried a bunch of dishes, but the best by far is the Cold Cut Chicken, and the Assorted Beef Sauce Mixed Noodles. The noodles are a mix and match of protein and broth, and are all gluten free! I highly recommend this place, their in house chili oil is great for any spice lover, and their signature chicken broth homey and comforting when you just want a delicious broth.
The rice noodles at this restaurant are simply outstanding! Their delectable flavors and mouthwatering textures keep me coming back for more. From the first bite to the last, each noodle is perfectly cooked, maintaining a delightful chewiness that's just right. The restaurant's signature broth is a masterpiece, rich and savory with a perfect balance of spices that dance on your taste buds. Whether you choose a classic noodle bowl or one of their tantalizing specialty dishes, you're in for a treat. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of ingredients is top-notch. The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting, making it an excellent spot to enjoy a comforting bowl of noodles. Without a doubt, this is my go-to place for rice noodles, and I can't recommend it enough to fellow noodle enthusiasts! 🍲🤤
When I exit from the bridge, I was looking for parking right on Chrystie St and I spotted this new place. So I parked across the street and decided to try it out since I haven't had noodles for quite a long since I'm on a diet. I ordered the supreme fish maw chicken soup rice noodles, tomato fish slices rice noodles, and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings were hot when I got them. The rice noodles come with a hot pot, so it will keep the soup hot. If you are bringing your kids with you, you haven't let them eat directly from the pot since the pot is really hot. I love their rice noodles soup. The noodle portion was bigger than usual from other places that I had tried. It was very flavorful and not too chewy. Will go back to try others.
Ji Bei Chuan Noodles has an exceptional atmosphere that really stands out. Unfortunately, the food and service were both just average and didn't live up to the great vibe. Come for the ambiance, but temper your expectations for everything else.
Chinese noodle shop on Christie St. This noodle shop replaced the previous Vietnamese Restaurant, it retained the indoor train model inside. The service girl was super attentive and very nice, the variety of noodle soups was good. A good spot if you're in the mood for Chinese Noodle Soups.
The dumplings were pretty good, they had a nice texture and they tasted fresh. They were supposed to be spicy, but they were pretty mild, mostly covered in chili oil and peanuts. The Thai soup was not Thai at all, but a bit spicy. The soup beef and noodles were just okay. The pumpkin cakes were greasy. The staff was very vattentive, and walked the floor regularly filling cups and being available.
This location just opened a couple months ago. Lots of seatings, interior seems bright with big windows to let nature sunlights in! It was not a rush hour, we came in at 4:30 pm… only two tables of three people were there before us. We waited a while to get our order in and also the noodles took a long time to prepare. They came in a different time. And we have to ask the waitstaff when we will get the second noodle. One staff serving the whole restaurant?? She was taking orders, serving tables and taking care of the bills too. So yeah, service wasn’t efficient. Fish maw and chicken Rice noodles was sooooo good though! One fish maw … very precious and delicious! Chicken was tender and broth was so delicious!! They have a few locations elsewhere so maybe we will try other location.
This is a big franchise in China, followed with the flushing one this one is pretty new to Chinatown. It’s not really traditional yuanan cross bridge style nor the Guilin style. But a mixture offering soup base and dry options. There are many soup base flavor tailor to different taste you just need to choose your protein. I tried their R1 fish maw chicken noodle soup, I was surprised that how bland it tastes, the broth also didn’t contain much collagen that it supposed to, instead it tastes water down. There are maybe one four pieces of chicken and minimum toppings, I guess $17 don’t get much. The portion is normal, I was able to finish everything including the broth. Appetizer crispy pork was not crispy. Soggy and flavorless I had to ask for extra chili flakes to enhance the flavor. The brown sugar rice cake is nice, deep friend and covered with brown sugar and syrup.
Chain restaurant specialized in MSG cuisine so you will buy more sugar drinks from the same store. Here are my regretful orders 1. Pork intestine mixed rice noodle - served cold and flavorless 2. Chicken gizzards - salt and msg lover special 3. Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup Rice Noodle - a mouthful description of yet another MSG special I probably will go back again for more MSG as soon as I recover from the after taste....
Do not ever order from this restaurant!! What’s wrong with you guys?? Can’t believe I waited for over an hour just to get nothing! If your restaurant was closed, why did you still accept the order from Uber and told the drivers you already prepared the food??? I ordered at 8:40 pm your store is supposed to close at 9:30 pm. That’s such a terrible experience and you guys really suck. Ruined my whole night.
