Lucid Cafe New York Reviews
Homemade almond milk was unique and a must-add to any coffee or latte. I echo what others have said about the avocado toast - one of the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned (they’re usually not) with a generous drizzle of yummy olive oil
Our fav coffee shop in NYC! It quickly became our go to place because of the delicious food, great specialty coffee and most importantly the service and the ambience! They make you feel like a local and a regular every time! Brunch is the best here! Also they had the cutest and most lovely bday gesture with us 🥳🫶🫰thank you girls!
I love this place. My wife and I were staying nearby while our apartment had some work done on it. We normally make our own coffee and we were dreading having to buy it out every day for three weeks...until we found Lucid Cafe. This place felt so comfortable and the coffee was insanely delicious. We're back home now, but I'm still thinking of this cafe. The lavender cappuccino really did change me fundamentally. Would love to know what kind of syrup they use!
Cozy little coffee shop serving Counter Culture (blue bag) espresso. Reasonable prices and friendly service from what seems like an Asian family. Relaxing coffee house music from SiriusXM. Very limited seating, but worth a visit if you're in the area.
Cozy cafe with great coffee and other beverage options. It has a neighborhood feel, and the people working here are really nice. Definitely recommended!
Tiniest coffee shop I’ve been to. Seats maybe 6 people. Great coffee, great service. Cheap. What’s not to like.
I found a very warm, friendly and cozy local cafe in Midtown East. Cappuccino with home squeezed almond milk was so delicious and avocado toast with eggs was so filling and delicious as well. Lastly I highly recommend their home made honey lemon ginger tea which is so soothing for this chilly autumn weather. Also I picked up some home made scone and chocolate muffin for my friends on the way home and they said it was not too sweet and delicious. If you want to try good local coffee and pastry, I highly recommend Lucid Cafe in Murray hill. Staff members are friendly and will welcome you. 🥰🥰
Really lovely staff and delicious coffee! My grandma forgot her favorite glasses there yesterday, they kept them safe and had them ready for me to pick up when I came looking the next morning. Everyone behind the counter was really kind and greeted people with a smile, there’s a great pastry/snack selection, and the espresso was some of the best I’ve had in NYC this summer. Highly recommend!
Best avocado toast I've had. Generous avocado, perfect egg. No cilantro microgreens BS, just simple seasoning. Delicious! Great coffee too and super nice people working here.
I had a flat white and avo on toast nearly every day I was here. This place is run by super kind, friendly people. They make a well reviewed flat white (Aussie style), which is why I flagged them to visit before I even got to NYC. Even the regulars who come here are lovely. I highly recommend a visit 👌
Lucid Café is a delightful spot on Lexington Avenue in New York, perfect for chai latte enthusiasts. Their signature chai latte is a standout—rich, perfectly spiced, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness if requested. The café's ambiance is cozy and inviting, with minimalist decor and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. Alongside their excellent chai, Lucid offers a range of other coffee options and delicious pastries that are freshly baked and pair perfectly with their drinks. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work or a cozy corner to relax, Lucid is a must-visit.
Such a sweet small and cozy coffeeshop to grab and go near gran central. Indoor seating is not available but there are two small chairs outside . I had the Vermont maple latte with oat milk and loved it. They had some gf and vegan pastries but I didn’t get the chance to try them. Definitely will come back.
Lucid cafe is a warm refuge on a cold New York day. I wandered into the cafe to escape the cold and noise of December traffic, and was welcomed with a cozy, quiet, intimate atmosphere. Dark wooden benches and counters, hand-strung decorations, and a cute window booth comprise the entirety of the shop. The barista is friendly, and takes her time with each order, lovingly pouring and stirring each ingredient. Definitely an intimate spot, and worth bringing a close friend for some quiet conversations.
Wanted to try this place for a while and I'm glad I did. Yes, the space is small but the smiles are big. The iced coffee is better than most because it still had the acidic bite that's one whole reason to drink coffee. Very courteous service for each of their many morning customers. Will be back when in Murray Hill.
