This is the best Chinese food I’ve had in a looong time! I’m so happy they opened on the UES. I ordered popcorn chicken (gf wow! Delicious, hint of spice and fresh fresh), soup dumplings (I could have eaten the entire container on my own), vegetarian spring rolls and the hot and sour soup. Truly the best food, friendliest staff, clean kitchen, fresh, delicious, leaves you feeling full and happy. Can’t wait to come back and try more items!! Yum!

I recently ordered takeout from Miss Wonton, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Fernando! From the moment I placed my order, he was incredibly helpful and attentive. When I arrived to pick up my order, Fernando greeted me with a warm smile and ensured everything was packed perfectly. The food was delicious, and it was clear that he takes pride in his work. Thank you, Fernando, for your amazing service! I can't wait to order again soon!

It was the second time I ordered from Miss Wonton and the first bite of the shrimp and celery dumpling when it dawned on me: this is the GOOD New York City Chinese food I’d missed out on for years. It’s easy to get disillusioned with NYC Chinese food because the majority is poor or mediocre. Not Miss Dumpling. I haven’t tried all of the dishes on the menu, but I will one day. Highly recommend the dumplings and any of the noodle dishes. Beef with onions and peppers was perfect.

I had a spectacular experience from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff was extremely attentive and explained each dish in great detail. Fernando is truly a great countermander! Excellent work by this restaurant. The food was simply incredible; every dish had an exquisite flavor. I highly recommend the General T'sos Chicken and the Chicken Dumplings , which were among Fernando's recommendations. The menu is very varied, and you can definitely feel the care put into the preparation of each dish. I definitely recommend this restaurant 100%.

The food was very good, beautifully presented. It was my first time, and honestly, with Fernando's help and recommendations, it was an excellent combination. I congratulate the management because Fernando was a great help. The Sesame Chicken was delicious, and the Singapore Mai Fun was excellent. Since I don't eat pork, they made it without pork, and it was perfect. Happy Chinese New Year! I will definitely return to this restaurant.

The food is delicious, but very often a place can have tasty food, yet need better service, which will make me stop going to a place altogether. This is not the case for Miss Wonton. Fernando, who has many times taken my other, provides excellent service and goes beyond being a caring human being. Fernando has provided me with delicious options when he could tell I had a hard day and it has become difficult for me to make a simple choice of the menu. Noticing his client's stress and without asking, being able to be accommodating to his client's needs are some of the reasons why Fernando goes beyond excellent customer service and why AI will never be able to replace the person who takes care of one's food order. The key word here is CARE. It is so nice to bump into a lovely person like Fernando who makes me forget for a couple of minutes the violence and greediness of the world and reminds me of how wonderful we could be if we choose to when doing things that are taken for granted by many like the service industry. Fernando is not only a great employee, but he gives the business a kind reputation, for which I have to congratulate the higher management and owner as they won the lotto with him.

The workers here are really friendly and the food came out quickly. If you are in the area and looking for a quick Chinese spot, this is a great choice. I recommend the fried rice and the Dan Dan style wontons. The wontons come in a spicy peanut sauce that I absolutely loved. The scallion pancakes were a bit too oily for me. The pork soup dumplings were okay, not sure I would get them again.

This takeout place is connected to Kossar’s Bagels & Bialys. The house special spicy chicken wontons are actually not spicy so better take extra packets of hot sauce. The pan fried pork dumplings are best eaten immediately as they lose their crunch in transit. The total for the 2 items was $20.58, tax included, which seemed a bit much for dumplings. Efficiency needs to be improved; the order took 18 minutes to be fulfilled.

Ordered braised beef rice noodle soup with extra wonton for takeout. Total of $18.45. Picked the food up and went to work. Guess what? Wonton was not there. I called and they told me they will refund it back to my card but I still didn’t received my refund. Update: they refunded me. Changed the review to 3 stars.

Food is bland. Also, wonton soup didn’t come with crispy noodles and the other main dishes didn’t come with any sauces like soy sauce or duck sauce.

I walked past this little place and made a mental note to go back and try it. One day, I was craving wonton, and recalled this place, Miss Wonton. I figured their wonton must be delicious, especially since it is in their name. I ordered the large wonton soup, and made my way over to pick it up. I brought it back home, anxious to try it, and was completely underwhelmed. The wonton were ok, nothing memorable, the soup was pretty bland, but the worst was that there was so much vegetable in the soup that I could barely pick out the wonton from the soup. My overall experience was not what I expected, and unfortunately, I don’t believe I would go back. I am cantonese, grew up on good wonton, either from a restaurant or homemade, and so I realize my expectations may be higher than others. It’s ok, but I really wasn’t impressed. I’ll continue to look for authentic and better wonton in the neighborhood.

I wish I’d read the individual reviews prior to and not decided to try them based on the overall rating. I ordered the general tso tofu and vegetable spring rolls. The food does take a bit long as other reviews noted. The spring rolls were fine, a little on the salty side. The tofu while perfectly crisp had no flavor. I don’t think it was seasoned at all, just sauced after frying. I tried to give it a boost by adding soy sauce but that didn’t help either. The restaurant seems like a decent concept but overall the execution was pretty disappointing. Also, note there is a lunch menu that is in effect on weekends also. I could’ve gotten a similar meal for about $13.95 instead of $24 had I seen the sign which is on the door as you’re exiting. Easy to miss if you’re reading the menu behind the counters

The food was legit awesome when they first opened. Today, we got the same dishes and it couldn’t be worse. Bland and cheap tasting whereas before it was saturated and rich. It feels like they either switched kitchen crews or substituted cheaper ingredients. It’s really sad because I was excited to go back after having such a great experience the first time.

Absolutely horrible chicken dumplings. Zero flavor and they were basically cold on the inside. I didn’t even end up eating them.

I waited at the register for 5 mins for them to come and tell me it’s closed. Poor customer service. Very inconvenient. Should’ve locked the door and not had another customer in there.

I ask for extra sauce for my chicken and broccoli in the notes section and they didn't do it. Forgot a whole container of rice that's supposed to come with the meal. I'm very disappointed I have been going to this place for while now. I called them I told them my concerns they just hung up on me very bad service. This store really Dont care for their customers clearly I'm calling and calling and they just ignoring me. So if you want good service Dont go here.

The worst possible chinese food you can imagine. The space is shared by a bagel store, same facility, leaves you not wondering why the food is so bad. Nothing is authentic or correctly cooked. Skip it at all costs.

Went here for take out dinner while visiting a friend. Should've read the detailed reviews. Simply put, by a former Chef Entrepreneur, the seasoning and ingredients used in dumplings and fried rice were very poor quality.

I just ordered a large wonton soup and an egg roll and this took an extremely long time. I thought a bag was my order and when the order taker/server Fernando F which I think was his name said it was not and I only said to myself wow how long does a wonton soup take he said oh so do you want your money back? I said no I never said that I was just surprised it took so long. He proceeded to say I was being nasty which I was not mind you an Asian lady before me asked twice how much time because her meal was taking long and he spoke to her nicely. I am a person of color but he was shocked when I spoke to him in Spanish and he continued to be nasty to me. I work in the area in the area and I will make sure to spread the word that the person that takes the order is nasty but only to certain customers that look like me. This was my first experience and I will NEVER return.

Discarded the first piece of chicken I found hair on and while trying to move on found another piece. The gentleman at the register was very nice and immediately gave me a refund, however the staff member (who obviously thought I didn’t speak Spanish) sucked his teeth a continued to make comments saying there was no hair in the food. The worst thing you can do as a chef is have an attitude about food that is not properly prepared.. especially when it’s a health violation!!! By the way, when did it become ok to not wear hairnets when preparing food? Absolutely disgusting!

My daughter got food poisoning. Horrible experience. We ordered the beef and broccoli with white rice and dumplings. Taste was not there at all; I strongly advise you do not come here. Save your money, gut, taste buds, and everything else in between.
