We started going to Fattoush by Salma about three months ago. We used to visit Salma, but one time they were fully packed and recommended we try their new location—and ever since, we’ve been hooked! The food, the service, and the atmosphere are all top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. The servers are amazing. We genuinely love being there and can’t stop recommending it to friends and family. Natalia, Marcella, and Gigi are unbelievably courteous and truly know their job well.

One of the BEST spots for a group dinner + birthday. Came here with 4 others and set a reservation the week before (call to do so). They were always super sweet and flexible and even have a bring your own bottle option (does require minimum purchase, for us it was apps and 3 platters). Even with 3 appetizers and 3 platters + tip, it was less than $150. Some of the best Lebanese food I've had in the city plus the coziest environment. Great service and people, plus they even helped us celebrate our friends bday with a little dessert (she had no clue and was surprised). Bonus if you are gluten free since there are soooo many GF options.

We had a very tasty and satisfying small dinner which consisted of an appetizer of perfectly spiced lamb sambousek with a chicken shawarma wrap split between us. The one chicken sandwich was ample and more than enough food for both of us. Our waitress Marcela was very elegant and explained all of our questions about the portion sizes, ingredients, etc. She was very accommodating, bringing sauces like gatlic yogurt sauce and red chili sauce to complement what we ate. I thought the decor was very tasteful and calming with beautiful muted colors and Middle Eastern touches.

We had a wonderful dinner here on a Wednesday night. The food was delicious and the space very comfortable. And the service was also very good and not pushy. We ordered the appetizer plate for four and the mixed grill supreme. Everything was perfect and easy to share. It is also BYOB at no charge. Highly recommended!

Every dish felt fresh and full of flavor. The wrap was loaded with tender meat, crunchy vegetables, and rich, creamy sauces. The mezze with hummus hit every note perfectly. The setting is welcoming with vibrant seating and a cozy, authentic feel that makes the whole experience truly enjoyable.

I almost don’t want to leave a review so I can keep this place to myself! The food was incredible - the muhammara and fig hummus were unreal. The fig hummus was sweeter than I expected so it was nice to have something more savory to balance it out. We also got the mint lemonade, jallap, and arayes with cheese and everything was delicious. The drinks were both in slushie form, and the jallap was made of rose water and not too sweet. All so flavorful! The service was excellent, quick and very kind. Looking forward to my next visit!

I’m stuffed like a grape leaf. Everything that came to my table was out of this world. Fresh, delicious, authentic, homemade and made with love. My compliments to the chef and owner. Staff is beautiful and atmosphere is beautiful and cozy and colorful. I’m bringing my family back.

We stumbled in looking for a spot in the West Village on a Saturday night and managed to grab a table, and WOW. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in the city. Everything was divine, free glass of wine, and the chef came out to bring us different things he whipped up while we waited. The restaurant is too small for all of the people they need to have here!! There should be a line around the block.

Always a wonderful experience at Fattoush! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented! the wrap was packed with juicy meat, crisp veggies, and creamy sauces, while the mezze and hummus were just perfect. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with colorful seating and a cozy, authentic vibe that makes you feel right at home.

Authentic Lebanese food. The kibba and fattoush were my favorite. I really enjoyed the fig hummus which was on the sweeter side but oh so good. A must try in the neighborhood.

Came here with a few friends a few weeks ago (after a workout class so we were appropriately starving) and tried a smattering of things that were all wonderfully delicious. We had the beetroot hummus, tabbouleh, kebbeh, sambousek, and cheese rolls. And decided to split falafel and the shish tawouk platter which was so perfectly seasoned and cooked. There were still so many things we didn't get to try but I will definitely be returning. Also, side shoutout for the mint lemonade - refreshing!

Went to restauraunt week Jan20-Feb12. Price was solid and the food was flavorful and distinct. Portion size was good and accurate to Filipino food according to the person I was dining with. The service, staff, and atmosphere were all exceptional. The restauraunt gets packed very quickly from opening, so reservations are probably recommended.

GET THE SALTED EGG PANCAKE 👏👏👏 Came for brunch and WILL RETURN for brunch again. Everything was so delicious and very fairly priced!! Really enjoyed the Kare Kare Omelette but the Salted Egg Pancake literally stole the show and I hope to eat another one as soon as possible. Also get a side of pork longganisa! The service team was also super accomodating for a last minute reservation change. It made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you Naks!!!

Everything we ordered was fantastic, from cocktails to food, and the atmosphere was just beautiful. We tried: - KFC (Kanto Fried Chicken) golden crispy fried chicken, garlic aioli - Pancit Batil Patong stir-fried egg noodles, seasoned ground beef, pork chicharron, fried egg Kare-Kare (n) braised beef cheeks, rich peanut stew, market vegetables - Ooh-Bae! - aged coconut rum, ube, cultured coconut, cream, pandan, club soda (so good!)

Tried Nak’s New Year special with the wine pairing and I’m still thinking about that sopas. The salpicao dry-aged beef with rice and bone marrow rice was crazy umami. Sinuglaw was chef’s kiss! The mango float was also a hit. I’ve been here before and the ube cheesecake and leche flan from the regular menu was the best I tasted in my life lol. Also, kudos to the crew, super friendly and really knows their stuff. Been telling my friends and coworkers to try it.

Food 4.75/5 Service 4.5/5 Ambiance 4.5/5 Value 3/5 After trying so many Filipino restaurants, Nak’s definitely stands out from the rest. Nak’s serves elevated, modern Filipino comfort food, and the flavors across the board were on point. They also offer a lot of unique dishes you don’t see often at other spots, though portions lean more tapa sized so don’t expect to be full. What we ordered: Inihaw na Liempo (BBQ Pork Belly) – $16 | 5/5 Absolutely delicious. The pork belly was tender, the sauce was perfectly balanced, and this is a must try appetizer. Pancit Batil Patong (Stir-Fried Egg Noodles, Ground Beef, Pork Chicharron, Fried Egg) – $27 | 4.75/5 Loved that the pork chicharron stayed tender while still being crispy. Flavors were spot on, with a slight tang from the vinegar sauce that tied everything together. Adobo Rice (Claypot Chicken, Pork Belly, Garlic Rice) – $32 | 4.5/5 Very flavorful and well-balanced, though the portion was on the smaller side. Still a solid dish. Ginataang Alimango (Dungeness Crab) – $33 | 4.5/5 Another standout, rich and delicious, though I personally would’ve preferred a lighter coconut base. Inihaw na Sugpo (Charcoal-Grilled Prawns) – $32 | 5/5 One of my faves. Perfectly cooked, super juicy, and the sauce paired beautifully. Loved that they use actual tiger prawns here. Purple Yummm – $12 | 3.75/5 Not the biggest fan of the ube soda, but I can see this being enjoyable for others.

Had a great dinner at Naks in the East Village. The food was flavorful, well-executed, and portions were solid. Definitely a place where ordering a few dishes and sharing really pays off. Just make sure you book ahead because it fills up fast. Starters: The grilled pork belly was excellent. Nicely charred, juicy, and packed with flavor. Easy 9/10. The fried chicken was also a standout. Super crispy on the outside, very juicy inside, and seasoned well. Another 9/10. Noodles: The stir-fried egg noodles with pork were comforting and well-balanced. Savory, satisfying, and easy to keep going back for. 8.5/10. Entrée: The dungeness crab completely stole the show. Rich, deeply flavorful, and honestly the kind of dish you wish you could eat all the time. A clear 10/10 and the highlight of the meal. We added white rice and water spinach on the side, which were perfect to soak up all the sauces and round everything out. Drinks: The Ambaboy was solid but didn’t stand out as much compared to the food. 7.6/10. The Ooh-Bae! was much better. Balanced, interesting, and paired nicely with the meal. 8.9/10. Overall, the portion sizes felt fair, the food was consistently tasty, and the service moved well. It is a bit on the pricier side, but that was mostly due to cocktails. I’d definitely come back and would love to try brunch next time. Naks delivers bold flavors and some truly memorable dishes, especially that crab. Worth the visit if you enjoy Filipino food done with care and confidence.

I have been dying to find a good Filipino brunch restaurant as I am so used to good spots in SF. NAKS definitely lived up to its hype. We got the cram omelette, fried chicken sandwich, and the ube cheesecake. The server was attentive and kept checking in on us and the staff made us feel seen which I guess is hard to come by these days in NYC. If you’re looking for a brunch spot that has amazing food and service for a reasonable price, I would definitely make a stop here and get those items. TIP: come early if you want the salted egg pancakes or DM them on IG. We were so sad that they ran out.

We sat at the bar, and Aaron, our bartender, was fantastic! friendly, attentive, and full of excellent food and drink recommendations. The dishes and cocktails offer a great modern take on Filipino cuisine. My only hope is that the bar becomes even more adventurous with its cocktails and incorporates a broader range of Filipino flavors.

I’m Cebuano and very picky with lechon, but it had been too long since I’ve had any so I caved and decided to take a gamble. The. lechon. was. amazing. And so was EVERYTHING ELSE. We got the lechon platter, adobo rice, ensaladang talong, and lumpiang gulay. NAKS really hit it all outta the park! We were all very impressed, and this is now my husband’s and my favourite Filipino restaurant here in NYC! He especially loved the cocktails. The staff was also incredibly warm and friendly, they knew their food well and can guide you through the menu. They changed our plates and cutlery and kept our table clean and organized. I will say though that it is a small space and most of the tables are for 2 persons. They were kind enough to put two tables together for us since we had an unexpected 3rd, and for a place as packed and busy as this we know that isnt easy to do. So thank you so much, Team NAKS, for the wonderful service and exceptional food! We will be coming back!

First time having Filipino food & it did not disappoint. The fried chicken, adobo rice & lamb chops were DELICIOUS, & flavorful. I love me a sweet drink & the Calamansi Spritz was truly one of the best cocktails Ive had. Their flan dessert was also really delicious. The staff were sweet & accommodating. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Favorite restaurant in the city so far for Filipino cuisine. Every dish we ordered was a hit for our group, as each dish had familiar flavors we were used to from back home. Was surprised at how busy the resto was on a Sunday night, make sure to get a reservation before arriving!

My introduction to Philippine cuisine and it was delicious! The fried chicken is so crispy and well seasoned on the outside while the meat is tender and juicy. The adobo rice is crispy from the hot clay pot and has chicken and pork and egg mashed all together. Ginataang is fresh and flavourful— especially loved it with rice. Dessert is also a highlight: the foamy ube was light and not too sweet while the crust is super buttery and crunchy

I’ve been here a few times in the past couple of years and I can say Naks is my favorite Filipino restaurant (and probably the only one that I like) in Manhattan. It feels authentic, the food is absolutely delicious, the service is excellent, and the menu feels like a lot of thought was put into it. The interior also reminds me a lot of my visits to the Philippines as well too and I really appreciate that! Their menu changes slightly with each visit but every order we’ve tried hit every time. Seasoning and flavors are the same as they are in restaurants in queens / in the Philippines (read: not “watered down”, authentic). However some dishes have a bit of a creative twist as well which is also fun. Love Naks and looking forward to my next visit

Generous portions and a nicely designed, cozy restaurant. We arrived around 6 pm without a reservation and were seated immediately. At that time, the restaurant was about half empty, but by around 7 pm it became packed. I noticed a shift in service once it got busy—it was harder to get the waitresses’ attention—but they were still very friendly. The food was delicious—especially the cheese roll (puff pastry with mozzarella and feta) and the Shish Tawouk, which was perfectly grilled and flavorful. They offer complimentary tea served in a teapot, though it’s made with tea bags. Loose-leaf tea would be a nicer touch, but considering it’s complimentary, it’s still appreciated. Overall, a nice spot for casual dining.

Thai food, but make it refined. 🌶️✨ Bold spices, elegant plating, and flavors that linger—in the best way. Every course feels thoughtful, a little daring, and deeply comforting at the same time. One of those meals where you slow down, sip your drink, and let the spice tell its story. Perfect for a special night when you want something unforgettable (and unapologetically flavorful).

Came for brunch. Good sized portions. Crab omelette was delicious. Salted egg pancake tasted more heavier on the lemon than salted egg. Side of fried chicken had four pieces and enough to share between two people. Service seemed a bit slower due to the amount of customers they needed to attend to

Probably one of the best Filipino restaurants I've been to. One thing is that the kare kare was very heavy but not bad in flavor, so keep that in mind. However, the food is very flavorful. Add the stuff they give you as well.

Naks New York is a phenomenal showcase of modern Filipino cuisine done with depth, confidence, and heart. The menu honors traditional flavors while presenting them in a refined, thoughtful way that feels both exciting and deeply rooted. Standout dishes include the lumpiang gulay, perfectly crisp and light; the kinilaw, bright and refreshing with clean acidity; and the inihaw na liempo, smoky, rich, and incredibly satisfying. The adobo rice is a must-order—savory, fragrant, and impossible to stop eating. I only wish that they would make it in a way to remove the bones to make it easier to enjoy. Seafood truly shines with the luxurious ginataang alimango, deeply comforting crab meat and rich with coconut, and the beautifully cooked isda (fish of the day for us was red snapper topped with shrimp), delicate yet full of flavor. The cocktail program is just as memorable. Ambaboy (lechon fat washed bourbon in an old fashioned like drink), Peach Please (taken as shots, it tastes exactly like and pays homage to Jollibee's famous peach mango pies), and Purple Yummm (that ube cream foam is so good) are playful, well-balanced, and thoughtfully crafted—each one complementing the food rather than overpowering it. Save room for dessert—the ube cheesecake is outstanding. Creamy and luscious with that unmistakable nutty sweetness of ube, it’s perfectly balanced and not overly heavy, making it an ideal ending to the meal. With warm service, an intimate atmosphere, and food that celebrates Filipino flavors with care and creativity, Naks is easily one of the most exciting dining experiences in New York right now. A must-visit.

Brunch food and service was wonderful I recommend. Omelet had wonderful flavors it came with toast and dried shrimp paste I would get again. The platter also great flavors nice portion. Pancakes delicious crispy edges and lovely sauce. Sampler cocktails really enjoyed the calamasi and ube smooth to drink the peach bellini were very strong. Server was friendly, sweet and fun. Went for dinner service not a great experience idk if the server was new but she added things to our order that we didnt order,we ordered the pork belly platter for 2 it wasn't available and didnt find out for a while after ordering. The same calamasi drink wasn't as refreshing. The chicken app was good and the pork belly app was good. The server also got the placements of food and drinks wrong and was very out of it. Not sure if I would return for dinner considering how expensive it is it didnt live up to the pricing but brunch was pleasant and I recommend.

We went here for the first time and with high expectations. It’s not the service, we know they’d be great. We were expecting better plates. Foods were just OK. Not bad at all. Dynamite was delish. I’m glad it wasn’t the whole jalapeño inside. They ground it with other ingridients like cheese. Kobe burger was OK. I thought it was a little salty for me. But it’s “tapa” style so I could relate. Never had medium-cooked pork in my life. That hesitated me to eat more entree. It tasted good but no medium-cooked pork for me again. The pastry with ice cream was good. Almost all desserts are good. Sugar is a brain magnet. Staff are great. I like that the restaurant is a little dark. Noise level is mild. Good overall local and international food experience.
