Nanking New York Reviews
I had an incredible time at this restaurant. The mix of Indian, Thai, and Chinese flavors was unreal — every dish tasted fresh, balanced, and full of authentic spices. The portions were generous, the presentation was clean, and the food came out hot and fast. The staff were super friendly and made great recommendations. You can tell they really care about the quality and the customer experience. The atmosphere was cozy but modern, perfect for a date night or a chill dinner with friends. Overall, everything I tried was delicious, and I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for bold flavors and a restaurant that gets every detail right, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
“Delicious food! had an amazing experience at Nanking Restaurant on Rockaway Blvd! The Lamb Chops were incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the Tandoori Chicken was perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice. The Daal Tadka tasted so comforting and authentic, and the fried rice tied everything together beautifully. Great service, definitely a must-try spot in South Ozone Park!”
NanKing food is packed with flavor, and I love that you can pick your spice level to match exactly how you like it. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious and full of bold taste. I also appreciate the little touches — the bag comes with a creative flyer and thank-you note, which makes the whole experience feel thoughtful and welcoming. Great food, great vibes, definitely recommend!
Absolutely loved Nanking Rockaway! The fusion of Thai, Indian, and Chinese flavors is incredible—everything was delicious, full of bold spices and perfectly cooked. The service was great and the atmosphere cozy. A must-visit if you’re in the area and want something different and flavorful!
Had a wonderful girls' lunch date here! The service was excellent, and the food was even better. We tried the sweet chili wings, vegetarian papaya salad, peppered shrimp, drunken noodles, and red Thai curry—everything was absolutely delicious 😋. We didn’t get to try the desserts this time, but we will definitely be back for those!
Y’all this place got authentic Indian, Thai & Chinese flavors under one roof! Had to stop by after hearing they renovated and is under new management. Place looks great, giving the space a fresh, modern vibe. We tried: Samosa Chaat Chili Garlic Fried Shrimp Chili Cauliflower Chili Chicken Chicken Pad Thai Chicken Biriyani Mixed Grill Butter Chicken Garlic Naan Gulab Jamun (dessert) Ras Malai (dessert) Gajar Ka Halwa (dessert) They nailed each dish but the butter chicken is a must try with the garlic naan! Also loved the pad Thai 😮💨 Found out they also have Weekday Lunch Specials that start at just $12.99 which is a steal for the quality and variety! If you’re in Queens, NYC, and looking for authentic halal Indian, Thai, and Chinese food, this is the place to be. The menu is huge and has something for everyone! Truly enjoyed my experience and the amazing food!
I dont know, this place is popular in the neighborhood, I ordered takeout, Singapore noodles & drunken noodles, both had the flavors, but just didn't taste right. Both are 2 of my fav noodle dishes that ive had in many different restaurants, including Hong kong & Thailand, these just didn't cut it. Dont get me wrong, if you dont know what you're eating its fine, but it doesn't taste like it supposed to.
This place is ridiculous the fact that they don't understand while they are taking orders and this has happened multiple times. And previously I kind of ignored it and threw away the food and wasted my money while they were still in business but today is not the day! Every time you tell them medium spicy it's either non spicy or way too spicy! The food doesn't even go down the throat!!! I called the place and told them. All they said was “sorry” while I waste my money again and this food is going in the trash! Like we also work hard to earn! Not to waste on business like these! NEVER ORDERING AGAIN and I do not recommend!!! The food is expensive and the quantity is so little!!!! Last time I placed an order the girl had me repeat 7 times! And it was so frustrating. I mean if you don't want to work why are you even there! Bad for business! And person in the kitchen really needs to be told the different between medium spicy and spicy spicy! Ridiculous!!!!!!! Like I said NEVER AGAIN!
