Pad Thai New York Reviews
If u r near Greenwich village and craving for good thai food, dont miss this place. Very good food, reasonable price, great service and clean interiors. They have a decent range in theit menu and their service is quick as well. Try the duck soup noodle and the crab cake. Also, if ask them to customize ur meat. If u like something but want to replace a meat choice with something else feel free to ask. They will suggest you what suitable options are available. Dont forget the hot wine. They even have happy hour from 5 to 8pm, so ask them before u order ur drink
So happy to have found this gem! The food is roll-your-eyes-to-the-back-of-your-head good. Curry puffs and roti with massaman curry were the absolute best appetizers. Curry was peanut butter-esque , little sweet and a lot of delicious with the roti. The curry puffs are indescribably good. Get them. Got the shrimp and crab fried rice- the seasoning was perfect and the crab meat was amazing! Excited to come back and try more of the menu. Service was so quick and friendly, too!
Probably my favourite Thai place in NYC. The food is good, reasonably priced, the service is nice and efficient. The music fun and isn't loud so you can talk at a normal levels and the decor is pleasant. I nearly went into sad panda mode awhile back when tried going for lunch there during the weekend and found it shuttered. I thought it had closed down but the restaurant had just changed opening hours for the weekend, they don't open till 2pm now. Just glad it hadn't closed down.
I had Pad Thai and a butterfly pea drink at a cozy spot in Manhattan, both were absolutely delicious! The Pad Thai was full of flavor and perfectly balanced, and the drink was super refreshing. The service was also excellent, very friendly and attentive. I felt so welcomed. Highly recommended!
We visited Pad Thai Noodle Lounge for dinner and ordered the pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, and tom yum soup. The host was very welcoming and the food was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and makes for a good meal. I would happily return to get Thai food again.
Craving Thai food 🥘 and was in the area for lunch meeting 📆. There seems to be many options in Chelsea, but Pad Thai Noodle Lounge seems to standout with their $14.99 lunch 🥙 special which includes an appetizer. Today’s choice was the Tofu Soup 🥣 and Drunken Noodles 🍜 with Chicken. It did not disappoint, especially from the attentive customer service and interesting people watching. Not a trendy or stuffy restaurant but a cozy Chelsea neighborhood restaurant filled with locales and people enjoying their meal with their smartphone or the occasional gazers that you come in eye contact.
A small gem of a Thai restaurant in the Chelsea area. I happened to be nearby and was craving Thai food for lunch, so I stopped by Pad Thai Noodle Lounge—and I’m glad I did. The decor is cozy and welcoming. I ordered the Thai spring rolls and the Pad Thai noodles with beef, and everything was amazing—full of flavor and freshly made. The service was great and very friendly. I believe the manager served me personally; she was professional, attentive, and clearly understood what customers want. Two thumbs up for this place 👍👍 Highly recommended!
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 5+ Years Now ✨ Every time I visit I get the upmost respect and customer service is 10/10. My favorite dish is Fried Dumpling & Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice. My mom & myself come here always for our girls date and we have the most fun time. I will highly recommend this place to any New Yorker. Eat authentic and delicious Thai food. Also per the negative review regarding the manager Kat~ I am the customer who witnessed another customer not covering her mouth and constantly coughing in open air. I mentioned to the customer that she was coughing and would appreciate if she covers her mouth while we are eating. She got irate and disrespectful with myself and management. Creating false reviews is wrong ~ Kat is a beautiful kind women and did nothing wrong. I actually ended my own eating experience early due to how that customer was acting. So Kat thank you for making sure the food environment is safe and clean for all your customers.” Thank You Guys For All You Do. yummy 😋
I saw this place while passing by Chelsea and decided to check it out with my partner. I fear we’ve become foodies now but we wanted to try out this place. Pad Thai: 4/5 Drunken noodles: 5/5 Thai: 4/5 I always get my usual Drunken Noodles and it was super delicious! It tastes just right and I scarfed it down. The noodles to me aren’t really spicy but I loved how soft as chewy my noodles were. My partner loved his Pad Thai and finished it as well. The Thai tea was not super sweet but a good amount, it was honestly pretty good. Customer service was very friendly and accommodating as well. Not too many people were inside but it has a nice cozy heater underneath the seats so you don’t get cold. Overall I would totally recommend checking this place out!
Stopped in for dinner while getting a walking tour of Manhattan from a friend. After walking 5 miles and building up an appetite we found this little gem. Got a Duck roll appetizer, Tamarind Duck and a Lychee martini. Everything I had was delicious. My friend is vegetarian so there are many options for him also. Service was quick and very friendly. Cute little restaurant. It was very clean and well setup.
It’s the second time I come here, today is a Tuesday evening so it’s calm but I have come before during the weekend and it’s crowded. The food is exceptional and is so close to the Chelsea Peers if you’re coming back from visiting, stop here for great cocktails and amazing Thai food!
The massaman curry was tasty, but some key ingredients named on the menu (potatoes and peanuts) were not in my dish. I was bummed that I paid $21 for mostly a whole lot of onions.
This place is convenient for a quick meal. I was in the area and hungry, so I walked in after seeing that it gets decent reviews. I got an enjoyable Pad Thai with tofu, nothing fancy, but not bad at all. The crispy duck salad had good flavors, but the duck wasn't crispy, and the sauce was too sweet. The service was cold, but very efficient, so I was cool with that.
Popped in for lunch after an exhibit @ Arthouse in Chelsea Market. If you looking for a quick lunch but not interested in the chaos or prices of the dinning options at the market, PTNL is a decent option. They offer Happy Hour everyday from open-7pm and a lunch special which include an app and entrée. The portions are smaller but for the price is just enough. Chicken/Tofu/Veggie $14 Shrimp/Beef $16 We dipped in right before a heavy downpour. The restaurant was fairly empty and service was prompt and attentive. We order a cocktail and wings and enjoyed the eclectic decor while we waited for our dishes. Food was decent especial for the convenience and price. Will definitely return when in the area and in the mood for Thai. Just A Note: Lunch Special is Monday -Friday from 11:30-4pm.
I went here tonight and was seated immediately, but then completely ignored while a white customer who arrived after me was served first. The preferential treatment toward non-minority customers was obvious and unacceptable. This kind of behavior should not be happening.
MANDATORY( in a very sneaky way) 18% gratuities on take out items. 18% service charge on parties of 2 and 3, while additionally asking for tips. CHECK YOUR BILL. I have been coming to this restaurant at least two dozen times in the past two years and have brought my partner and friends (with a high recommendation). I have ordered takeout several times too. Solid food and cocktails. BUT the last two time I visited, I found out they were adding 18% service charge on party of 2 and 3, while additionally asking for tips on top of it. That is just unacceptable. See my last receipt as proof, the “T” marks takeout. Suffice to say they will be losing a very regular customer.
Was minding my own business eating lunch here today, these two very rude customers started yelling at me in the restaurant because I was coughing ( the weather is cold I caught a cold few days ago but is almost recovered now, it’s not illegal to cough at a restaurant when it is a common season for people to get a cold). I was sitting across the room, the furthest seat from them possible and they started to pick fights with me so randomly when I was minding my own business in peace. The manager and servers witness everything and did nothing to intervene. It was absolutely an unfortunate, uncomfortable and disappointing experience I had with their apathy in this event. Overall the food was okay and the place itself is okay, but I just can’t stay silent when something like this happens and the staff chose to do nothing to respond to two very aggressive customers coming at another customer minding their own business. The staff had the audacity to apologize on my behalf to the two aggressive customers as they were getting really rude and violent. Why would you apologize for something someone didn’t do? Why did nobody intervene when people are getting aggressive for no reason to attack someone else? Very very disappointing.
