Our NYC Vacation pizza highlight! Pizza Collective is truly amazing. The Roman-style crunchy crust is a standout, and we loved the freedom to choose and combine various great toppings. 6 PCs are more than enough for 2 grown-ups and 1 child. Absolute favourites: Emilia (mortadella Version) and the carbonara. Prices are more than okay for the city! They have cold drinks, a very clean restroom, and the staff was incredibly friendly and good with children. A perfect, easy family spot. 5/5!

My family and I were recently in NYC for vacation staying in the upper west side and on our first day we needed a quick bite to eat. We were so lucky to find this place. The pizza is phenomenal and the staff is so kind and friendly to everyone that came in. We ended up going back two more times before leaving the city. The dough is crispy and thicker than NYC style and they have lots of different unique toppings and styles (Try the Calabrese, and be sure to get the hot honey drizzle). They have pizza by the slice or you can buy a whole pizza. There were also pasta and vegetarian options which we didn't get to try. Highly recommend grabbing a bite at this great UWS spot.

Not my favorite location on Broadway, but despite this I’ve been back 3x in one month because the pizza is really great. I especially like the dough/crust. The servers are kind and not like those found your typical nyc pizza place where everyone is in a hurry and you have to order as quickly as possible. They have a bathroom to wash your hands and you get your pizza quickly.

This place is great (And vegan)! They have a large variety of options, with them having pizzas and pasta too! I got a pepperoni and Margherita pizza. It was absolutely delicious, and tasted pretty fresh. 10/10, this is my second time here and I would come a third.

Some of the best vegan pizza I’ve had! They were kind enough to make a fresh custom batch of vegan pizza for us since there weren’t any vegan slices left in the display case when we walked in. They even threw in a few free slices! We got the vegan pepperoni, vegan BBQ chicken, and vegan sausage (all amazing, and the crust is top tier). Will definitely be back to try the other vegan toppings.

I looked for a place to eat after walking all day, and that was hands down the best pizza I've ever had! Went back the next day for lunch and ordered lasagna, which kept me satisfied for the whole afternoon. The service was also amazing! 100% recommend it.

We spent the morning in Central Park and then stopped at Pizza Collective for some vegan pizza. It. Was. Amazing. Hands down the best vegan pizza we have ever had. The crust was fabulous. The toppings were delicious. 5 out of 5 stars. Go - you won't be disappointed!

Love this Pizza. the dough is very crunchy and foccaccia-bread-like which is delicious. Different choices, my favorite is the buffalo chicken. The eggplant could use some more cheese on top because it was a bit dry and cheese-less. Seats outside is great during sunny weather. must try!

This is definitely one of the best pizza experiences I've had in the upper west side, and one of the top and all of Manhattan. The ingredients are extremely fresh. It is clear that they're using top shelf ingredients. Service was helpful and friendly. This is a cafeteria-style order at the counter and sit down at a table. Very similar to other pizza joints around new york. Music is not exactly to my taste but it wasn't blaring and allowed for normal communication volume. The only minor issue I had was that every time the door was open, a blast of cold air would descend upon the eating space. Depending on how many people were coming and going at any moment made it more or less pleasant. After a few seconds of the door closed the heating took over and it was fine, but it was just annoying that I had to deal with it. Aside from that minor issue, and even with it, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for truly delectable pizza. I haven't tried their other offerings but if the freshness of the ingredients is anything, then I'm willing to bet the other dishes will be equally delicious.

I love the vegan pizza at this place. My favorite is the pepperoni and the margherita. The toppings on the primavera and mushroom pizza taste so fresh. I love that the pizza dough/crust is like a cross between focaccia and regular pizza. I also love the pink packaging the food comes in. Very cool, classy, and eye catching packaging which helps people remember their brand. They get 5 stars from me and I am going to put in another order right now.

It's a chill neighborhood pizza place with traditional pizza as well as several vegan options - perfect for me. The delicious vegan slices are made fresh to order and are priced about the same as the traditional slices - not overpriced like most vegan options out there. This is my go to for pizza delivery or a quick dine in or out slice in my neighborhood.

This place is SO good. I walked by randomly and grabbed a slice of Tricolore and some pasta. I loved the pizza so much I returned the next day. All I can say is - quality ingredients and it shows. Every bite is delicious and tastes authentic. I guess when you see that even the floor decals are in Italian you know you're in the right place.

Awesome pizza! Great food and super friendly staff! Was recommended by a couple friends and they were so right! Best slice so far in the UWS! Pizza: Delicious! The crust is the best part, so airy and tasty. I honestly could just eat the crust and sauce. So great! I tried the pep and the Calabrese. Both were excellent. Will happily be back to try more slices! DELICIOUS! Sausages: Spicy sausage and peppers were tasty and actually spicy (compared to many places just have “spices” but aren’t actually spicy. I just wanted to taste it but if I got it again I would get the sandwich. Really good. Meatballs: loads of sauce and fresh basil and cheese! I took it home to heat it up and eat it and it was just as fresh. $2 per meatball may be on the pricier side and will probably stop me from ordering again, but it was really good. Overall this is a solid pizza spot in the UWS. They take care of the important things (great sauce, great crust, tasty toppings) but they also focus on the little things like decor, seating and ambiance. If you haven’t yet, definitely try out Pizza Connection! You may find you have a new favorite local spot!

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the pizza sandwich. It was very filling and a great value for the price. The store is well-maintained and the staff is friendly.

Enjoyed the pizza more than I expected, loved how the one slice gets cut into 3 for serving. My only criticism is it seemed slightly on the salty side, and call me old fashioned but there were no prices displayed (none that I could see anyway) only by scanning a QR code which is a bit fiddly when you're trying to look at the menu board, look at the pizza and decide, regardless of that it actually turned out to be great value, for NYC anyway.

Really, really good square slices. This place is worth trying and there are many different types of slices to choose from. The buffalo chicken was great, had good flavor and a nice crunch.

The pizza here is actually surprisingly good despite not being New York style pizza. This pizza is a square deep dish style. However, the bread is not completely dense like deep dish. This is a little airier and reminds me more of focaccia. They have a Margherita pizza, however this is nowhere near what you expect. This one has a thick layer of cheese covering the top. I personally really enjoyed the taste of this, I just think it was more appropriately named cheese pizza as there was also just a very little amount of basil. The fungi pizza was also really good. If you love mushrooms, this has a ton of great umami flavor baked into the slice. Prices of pizzas are fairly standard for a lot of the upper-end slice joints (around $5-6 each). Staff are pretty friendly and bring the pizza to your table after you order it. Overall a pretty good experience with pretty good pizza.

The pizza is pretty good but the low star comes from poor customers service. The man at the front is very rude and it’s not just because of a language barrier. We have dealt with the attitude multiple times. For example waited for a pizza 15 extra minutes because he didn’t notify me and when I told him he could have notified me that it was ready he said whatever. There is good pizza near this area. Not worth the attitude to eat here.

Sept 2025 update: this is my go-to pizza place so I was disappointed when I bit into a hard object that doesn’t look like it’s meant to be edible in my pizza today (see photo). I ordered a whole pie, and have been cautiously chewing through the slices 😣 hope this is just a one-off incident. Original post (originally 5 stars): I was very sad when MyPie left the neighborhood; but this has been a good contender for my new go-to pizza place in the neighborhood. The pizza dough is pretty tasty and has a nice crunch when it's fresh. My absolute favorite is the one with broccoli rabe and italian sausage.
