Pretty good pizza for 1 dollar a slice, totally recommended

Good price for good tasting pizza! I go back every time the urge for pizza arise.
Great goto place, their regular slices are noticeably better than 99 cent places
Amazing pizza! These guys are so hardworking and zero attitude. The pizza is legit!
Great pizza slice place. Lots of variety and very well cooked (crispy crust with great melted cheese and plenty of sauce). Their buffalo slice is one of the best I've had anywhere. Pricing is very reasonable. They have limited seating but not an issue.
Beautiful people, wonderful customer service. The place is tiny but they have a large variety to choose from as far as your pizza is concerned. They deliver too and in a flash their delivery guy gets it done folks. Great taste great service you'll like it. I definitely enjoyed Stanton Pizza.
Everyone has their favorite pizza and this is by far mine. It is your basic, no frills, NYC pizza pie and you can't ask for more than that. Though I don't live in the neighborhood (which is probably a good thing) I make a point to grab a slice every time I am nearby.

Their plain slice is a respectable $1 slice. Fresh crust, sparse mozz, sauce a bit sweet. The other pies looked lovingly assembled, so worth trying. Chipper service, quaint digs. Open late is a plus. A keeper for the LES.

Favorite ritual of my son and I is to stop in here for a coupke slices after we get hair cuts. Super affordable Pizza that is really good!
This pizza is pretty good. I enjoyed the original slice and the margarita. I thought it was a good amount of saucey cheesy salty and greasy!
Stanton Pizza is the epitome of "mom & pop" shops! Walking over from an awesome Yelp Elite Event, I'm greeted by a husband and wife behind the counter, slinging $2 slices with a smile while their adorable daughter sits on a stool nibbling on tiny pieces of cut chicken cutlet. When it's my turn to order, I snag one plain and one buffalo slice, readying a $10 bill to pay. To my surprise, I got $5 back (cost was only $2 for the regular and $3 for the buffalo...) The plain slice was good, but the buffalo slice had both buffalo sauce and blue cheese mixed together to create a delightfully creamy yet spicy sauce that topped the chicken pieces perfectly! Service was friendly and more than you could ever ask for...coupled with reasonable prices and great pizza, this little pizzeria is definitely worth a visit!
This is a solid local pizza shop that I'm happy to support any chance I'm in the neighborhood. Don't let the other reviews fool you, this is not your typical $1 slice. To me, the run of the mill $1 slice is similar to grade school cafeteria pizza where the crust is too chewy and is a bit limp when folding it. Here you'll find a nice thin crispy bottom that folds well in true NY fashion. The sauce maybe a tinge on the sweet side, but I prefer this to the sauces that are too salty or too acidic. Give it a shot and you be the judge. After all, it's only a dollar.
As a long time resident of the Lower East Side, I've tried every pizza slice place in the area and by far this is the best. I don't mean to compare this place with Neapolitan restaurants like San Marzano or Tribunali. That is not the point. If you're in the mood for a good quality slice, this is the only one in a 10-block radius. The owner stresses fresh ingredients and an original sauce recipe. In my opinion the plain cheese slice is the best.
One of the better spots in the LES for a quick slice. The crust is excellent and if you have a bit of time to wait, the word is their calzones are unreal (and cheap).

Good pizza they were fast an nice but the only thing is they only sell pizza like literally only pizza if ur gonna sell only pizza it should be amazing pizza that's y I gave it 2 stars
Stanton Street Pizza is one of the many “dollar slice” pizza places scattered like old chewing gum on the sidewalks throughout the city. I dashed in one day before realizing what it is. Formerly a decent place for a quick slice in the neighborhood, this place has gone down market and it shows. Tiny slices with unsatisfying ingredients, this place is only suitable for people on a very tight budget, like the middle school kids that flock here in the afternoon when class lets out. I’m not against a quick, cheap slice when done right (*see Don Alphonso’s on Grand st.), but at the end of the day there’s a floor for how cheap you can go and still produce a quality product. This place, like the others of it’s type (I’m lookin’ at YOU 2 Bros), has found it.

I ordered from them many times through grubhub (they delivered the pizza to my apartment). Their pizza used to be amazing, however I am at a point where the risk is not worth the reward, because about 33% of the time, the pizza arrives burnt. If you order delivery, avoid them. I don't know what happened.. maybe they hired some amateur. Tt turns into a $17 russian roulette everytime I order pizza. I can't do it anymore.

Ordered a large pepperoni pie, came cold and every slice just falls apart, do yourself a favor and avoid this pizzeria when there are about 100 every block that at least can craft something edible.
I am a local to this pizza shop i go in and order a slice every weekend, I finally tried the delivery Service and I am Very disappointed will NEVER call for a delivery again!!! Pizza came stuck to the box all the cheese was stuck so basically the pizza was ruined, it was also cold. I had also ordered garlic knots they where stiff cold. So much for a warm reasonable dinner I was better off ordering chinese food as my original plan was. So if you ever want pizza from here it's best to just walk in grab a slice.
