A little bit of Japan in the middle of the Financial District. Close to the Stock Exchange building, this sushi spot is SPOT ON! Food - Super fresh. Decor - Inviting and intimate, perfect for low key dates. Service - Impeccable and attentive. This duo functioning restaurant has a self service grab & go, as well as a sit down dine in area. I opted to dine in and was seated fairly quickly by a friendly server who handed me a very unique menu that reminds me of the ribbon decor in a Japanese ramen stall they would hang up. I ordered a set meal: spicy tuna roll with air fried pork dumpling that came with miso soup. The Tuna is sooo fresh! You can tell it was bought and prepared same day. Not heavy on the sauce, which in my opinion shows off the quality of the fish. They want you to taste the freshness rather than hide bad quality sushi under loads of sauces. I respect that. The air fried pork dumpling, wow! I've never seen any other place that cooks with an air fryer, let alone with dumplings. The dumplings were so juicy, tasteful and CRISP. There were bits of glass noodles mixed in too! Usually, crisp dumplings are pan fried and greasy. These were not heavy or oily at all and I much rather all my fried dumplings be made this way from now on. Defin. an interesting spin that works great with their dumplings. Great idea and I highly recommend you to try it for yourself! Overall, I would come back here again. A hidden gem in the bustling financial district. Great price points considering the amount of food and quality you're getting. They pride themselves on being FRESH and it really does show. I didn't try the grab and go take out area, but from what I can tell its pretty straight forward and easy to help yourself. Clean and fresh, and I will be back!

Cherry and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Cherry especially stood out — she was professional, warm, and made sure everything was perfect. You can really feel the positive energy of the team, and it makes the whole experience so much better. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be happy to come back!

Had an amazing experience at Sushi & Co in NYC. The restaurant offers a modern and stylish environment with a cozy, clean dining area. The menu features a wide variety of options, including black rice sushi, ramen, and customizable bento boxes, which made it fun to mix and match my meal. The sushi was exceptionally fresh and delicious, and the bento box offered great value. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick, making it perfect for dine-in or take-out. Although seating is limited, the atmosphere is comfortable and nicely decorated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for high-quality sushi in NYC!

The chef prepares meals that make ordinary days feel special. The employees provided service that redefined my expectations. You'll appreciate the reasonable prices and filling portions. The waiters performed perfectly alongside creative dishes. The bill feels right for what you get.

We decided to visit this spot for dinner based on its positive Google reviews and the convenience of being close to our hotel. The place is super small but very clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The guy who took our order was incredibly kind and helpful, as were the chefs preparing the rolls. We ordered the sushi and udon set and were able to swap the rice for miso soup, which was a nice option. I chose the beef udon in a regular portion with a spicy kick—it was absolutely delicious. I also added the Premium Yellowtail Kick for an extra charge, which was a good choice. We enjoyed it so much that we tried to return later to try the famous black tuna roll. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 8:45 (when they should still be open), they told us they were closed. The decoration is cool! Overall, great food and service; highly recommended!

Small store front sushi, dumpling, soup, and bento box restaurant. Bright, clean, and friendly. Generous servings, freshly made meals. About 6 tables for 2 in the restaurant. Order online, at in store kiosk, or at the till. Remember to take note of your order number identified on your receipt.

What I love almost as much as their amazing food is the fact that they are just so damn nice here. I get the beef udon all the time. It's always served piping hot, consistently delicious, and so fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and has 7 or 8 small tables so if you come for lunch be prepared to take away. Sorry, no bathrooms. I always leave here full, satisfied, and happy!

I would highly recommend this place to others because the food is delicious, beautiful decor and if you don't feel safe with others making your food then you can see the chef make it! You might not be able to see well if your on the shorter side but I could help. The food is a reasonable price and I stayed there for atleast an hour so I don't think they mind👍.

One of the best sushi in New York City. I have dined in this restaurant a couple of times both inside and outside. The presentation of the food is amazing, with cool bento boxes. They take pride in their service, make sure everything is precise. The food is always fresh, and delicious. The employees wear the same uniforms and greet you in Japanese soon as you get in. The price is a bit high but it’s worth it. They also have special lunch menu with cheaper options. I would definitely recommend this Japanese sushi place.

Really good ramen, sushi, and rice bowls. Very clean and the owner and staff are attentive and make sure everything is created well and served just right. Good spot for a quick bite to eat. Will definitely be visiting again.

Small sushi place. It is more like a fast food place than a restaurant. You pick from a variety of sushi and some dumplings/soup options. Tasty food and good fast service. If you are in the area and want a quick bite go for it.

I recently visited Sushi & Co in Downtown NYC and had a pleasant experience. Many people seem to enjoy taking their sushi to go. I tried the udon with shrimp tempura, and it was a classic Japanese udon flavor—neither particularly special nor lacking in taste. The dish was satisfying.

Came here for lunch with a few friends. Came with the idea that we'd sit down and eat together, but the location definitely is limited in it's real estate, with just a handful of tables and chairs, and even then it's a little bit tight. Ordering is generally pretty easy but don't make the same mistake I did and ask for no receipt, that's the only way you'll know what your order number is when they call it! Food is pretty good, especially for a place that I would consider closer to a take out place. Value is really where this place shines though. Their lunch specials are a pretty good deal and give you a good variety with generous portion sizes. I went with their lunch bento box, and was plenty satisfied. I do wish there was a little more variety to choose from sushi roll wise, but they still have a good selection. Definitely also want to come back when it's cooler and try their hot food options to see how those might stack up as well

Went here for lunch with my friend today. The place is on the smaller side, but very clean and nicely decorated. Really appreciated how you can order and pay for your food on the kiosks. I ordered the Chicken Bowl and it came with some veggies, dumplings, and rice. The food was very good and it was some of the most tender and juicy chicken I've ever had (even though a few pieces were cold). Really appreciated the little touches they added, like how the utensils, napkins, and soy sauce were placed in a nice paper pouch with a seal. The staff was very kind and respectful. Will def be back to try the ramen!

Pretty good sushi. The pictures so far look slightly better than it tastes. I have been walking past here for ever and decided to finally try it. Definitely a good first try and will need to try some of their specialty rolls to feel the place out. Glad I stopped in.

Great service and atmosphere but sushi was very small and falling apart… And yes, definitely too much plastic for dine in option.

Visited quite a few times living nearby. Their menu options seem to change every season. I believe it's a little pricey for a premium bento box totaling to around 40 bucks and the portion was too much for a person to finish. The fact that I think about the sustainability a lot, the use of paper box and plastic cover is not really satisfying. However, the service was great as the staff brought the box to me where I had to pick it up on the counter a few years ago. I wish there was a hot tea that they serve since it's good to preventing an upset stomach just in case. I also thought the music was too loud and that was one of the factor that made the atmosphere less luxurious.

Spicy tuna is fine but salmon avocado roll and Philadelphia roll tasted weird. Pretty overpriced
