Take Care New York Reviews
This restaurant is fantastic. My wife and I went for brunch and got the breakfast burrito and the caesar wrap and both were delicious. All of the food that was coming out next to us looked amazing. Tiffany, the manager, was also so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend.
I went to this restaurant with a friend and had a great experience. The food was very good, and the portions were incredibly generous — so much so that I ended up taking a to-go bag, which honestly feels rare in New York, especially considering I ordered a poke with fish. The prices felt more than fair for both the quality and the quantity. The place works perfectly for a date, a family meal, or even eating on your own. What really stood out was the service. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. There was a small issue with one of our appetizers, and they remade it twice. They even came back to ask if we still wanted it — and didn’t charge us for it at all. That level of care really made the experience stand out. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.
Hardcore 5/5 TRULY! Came here for lunch and WHOA, little did we know this place would be so finger licking good. It's super cute inside and decorated beautifully. Ordered an Espresso Martini which was really smooth and tasty. I ate the Miso Salmon, OH MA GAWD! It was delicious. I ordered it medium well and lightly charred, YUM! The sauce and bok choy were so good, really brought everything together. By the time the waiter came back to check on us I practically inhaled my dish lol. Looking forward to coming back and trying something else. The service was wonderful, our server was attentive, friendly and helpful. The manager Tiffany was a delight, so personable and easy to talk to, so sweet. They also have a rooftop with 360 views of midtown! <3
Amazing experience at Take Care! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to Sergio, our server, who provided outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and always making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. His professionalism and great attitude truly made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for both the incredible food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Whether you are staying at The Shelburne, or shopping along Lexington Ave, this restaurant is the perfect vibe for any party size. My sister and I dined here on Friday night and absolutely loved everything- from the Buffalo chicken dip, mac and cheese, and burgers. Service is excellent (ask for Oscar), ambiance beautiful and we had access to the rooftop!
Best bistro in NYC, it truly compares to the bistros in France. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food is exceptional. Our waiter Joel was friendly and attentive, the manager Fabio made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend the burger and fries perfect medium rare well seared and middle coloring was precise, the fries and bacon were so crispy. Can’t wait to come back! 🍷🍔
The staff - from the lovely manager, to the bartender, to the server and the support staff were extremely hospitable and also prompt. The food was delicious and served timely (while warm, which doesn’t always happen at other spots). Loved the waffles and the eggs were delicious. Drinks - yummmm
After a long day out at Coney Island we were tired and didn't want to go too far from our hotel for dinner, so we decided we'd try the 'Take Care Bistro' at the hotel. The hotel receptionist said we didn't need to make a reservation so after a shower & change of clothes we went down into the restaurant, were immediately shown to a table and I was pleasantly surprised by the sophisticated decor and how atmospheric, inviting & cosy the restaurant was with dimmed lights and a small lighted candle on each table. We ordered the spiced carrot humus with grilled pitta breads to share as a starter, which was very light & tasty and was a great start to our meal. My wife had the BALT (bourbon pepper bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato) sandwich with a side of salad and a glass of Coney Island draft beer. The delicious, unique, smokey & hickory taste of the bourbon pepper bacon really elevated the sandwich to be the best BLT sandwich my wife has eaten. The tangy & peppery pickled vegetables in the salad also elevated it to a great tasty salad. I had the chicken snitzel with parsley butter & fries, which was a fabulous meal. The rich parsley butter combined with tangy lemon juice worked so well, soaked into the tender & moist fried breaded chicken. We didn't have any desert as we were full and the total bill of $80 was very good value for a fabulous meal served by our welcoming, friendly & efficient waiter in a delightful setting.
I had the spaghetti and meatballs and it was absolutely amazing! The dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My server, Luke, made the experience even better, he was knowledgeable, kind, and had a great sense of humor. He truly made me feel welcome. I will definitely be coming back!
I love this place!! I had the Take Care Burger and it was amazing - juicy and delicious. Fries were served hot and perfectly seasoned. The cafe is quite unique for New York in that it is a modern twist on the old American diner with very European influenced decor. Staff are attentive and friendly - Oscar was great and looked after me well. You’ll like it -10/10.
Did not realize that this restaurant was connected to the hotel. We were passing by and found the restaurant opened. This was one of few that were open. Did not know most of the shops and restaurants close on 4th of July in NY. Pretty quite place. Nothing special. Thai Green Coconut Curry was ok. It's was different. Chicken Ceasar Wrap was better.
