This was our very first breakfast in New York, and it also happened to be my brother’s birthday, so the experience couldn’t have been better. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and willing to help us prepare a small surprise for him. We had brought some candles with us, and they happily placed them on top of a granola bar so we could celebrate his birthday there, a small gesture that says a lot about their approach to customer care. We ordered egg and pesto wraps for breakfast, several homemade granola bars that were absolutely delicious, and specialty coffee. The coffee deserves a special mention: outstanding, without a doubt the best we had in all of West Manhattan. You can really tell they care about quality and the product they serve. As a final and very thoughtful detail, they didn’t charge us for the granola bar where they placed the birthday candles, which we truly appreciated and did not expect at all. It was the perfect way to round off an already great experience. I can only say thank you to the whole team. Without hesitation, one of the best places to have breakfast in Manhattan. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back.

I had the most wonderful experience here! I was celebrating my birthday, and they made me feel like a queen. The staff sang to me and truly celebrated with me, which made the day even more special. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely love this place! Enjoyed happy hour drinks and snacks with my friend here. This is our second time at the Upper West Side location, we came once for lunch before as well. The food is delicious and the wait staff is extremely nice and attentive! The decor is really chic and the place has such a relaxing vibe. The happy hour has some really great deals on specialty drinks for the neighborhood. Highlights were the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Hot Honey Chicken Sliders - so good!! Definitely try this new spot, it's worth a visit.

Nice ambiance and varied menu. I enjoyed the parfait choices and had an americano. Don’t be deceived by the name - there are many choices besides granola on the menu - good variety of brunch/lunch options. I like the grab and go at the front - if you’re not sitting down and want something quick but healthier than a slice of pizza, their to-go items are a good option. I miss the cheese sticks that were the crowning jewel of the former establishment but my parfait breakfast was much healthier and still delicious.

I accidentally discovered this place while walking around the neighborhood, but I'm glad I did! What I originally thought was a breakfast cafe, turned out to be also a fun restaurant with a neo classic interior. I was there for happy hour, so I only tried those menu items. However, everything was excellent. I highly recommend if you're in the area.

Everyone was displayed exactly as to what I imagined. Staff is excellent, food is very compelling, and an overall great experience. Chani gave excellent service for our party. I would definitely recommend coming here for a good brunch.😊

What a fantastic restaurant! We ordered a lot more then in the pictures but devoured it before I got phone out. I could eat the Halloumi salad and bar cesar everyday ! Thank you The Granola Bar for opening on the UWS now we know what we were missing ! I'll be back , often.

Came just to check the place out, stayed longer for the atmosphere, and then stayed even longer to enjoy the menu. It’s swanky & bougie while also feeling homey. I came and did homework over my French Toast latte, customer service was out of this world. Had the famous toast with ricotta peaches & mint OMGGGG, it SMACKED!!! Would highly recommend, cute spot to bring a friend and chat over brunch or a nice lowkey date night

I heard about this place by watching Eyewitness News "Mornings @10" show and decided to bring a friend of mine to check it out...it was worth the wait! Caoilinn T was out waitress, she was very awesome, explained each entree to us and service with a smile. I completely recommend the Granola Bar!

Visited the recently opened Granola Bar on the Upper West Side. They are offering $5off if you download their app at the moment. Place has modern yet cozy ambiance, perfect for a quick bite or a casual meeting. The menu is diverse, offering a wide range of breakfast and lunch items. The staff is friendly, very attentive with water refilling :) Overall love the atmosphere sleek, contemporary design with comfortable seating and high ceilings.

Forgot about an order, the smoothie is very watered down, but the whipped ricotta is really light and well done

Below average food and drinks. Decent service and atmosphere. (1) The pesto scramble was served cold. The pesto flavor was not good, essentially just a basil puree, no oil, nothing. Was expecting the eggs to actually be scrambled with pesto, tomatoes, some creativity.... Very basic sourdough, a layer of basil puree and cold eggs on top. Would not recommend. (2) The sweet potato pancakes themselves were tasty, but the butter was like diner butter. And we paid extra for blueberries and strawberries and got maybe 6 blueberries and half a strawberry. There needed to be at least 5x the amount of fruit. (3) Matcha latte had no flavor of matcha whatsoever, just green colored sugar milk. Too sweet, had to return it. (4) The server was very nice and personable, but everytime they filled our glasses with water, was dropping water into our plates and on the table, and didn't notice.

What everyone says is true. They DO hide up-charges. For example, if you ask for a coffee they give you the size everyone else in the restaurant has in the same standard mug everyone has and then charge you for a large. There’s no question of “what size?” as they want you to believe you’re just getting a regular coffee (and you are— it’s the standard size they automatically give everyone) but they charge you for a large. I’d have been happy to pay the charge if it was baked in or clearly indicated, but the intentional deception is off putting. Very scumbag business practices. Absolutely mediocre food (had the everything pigs in a blanket and hot honey chicken sandwich) mediocre service, but nice environment.

We live in the neighborhood and had high hopes for granola bar. We really like the concept but some of the food portions are quite small, like the salads or warm salad bowls. The food is ok, but needs a revamp. They should actively seek customers opinions and actively figure out how to improve it.

The food here is horrible both in flavor and taste and in size and quantity. I ordered the Steak & Chimi off their menu at $28 and all I got was the 3 tiny steak strips as shown in the picture below. On top of that I asked for it to be medium rare and as it is shown in the picture it is very well done. Besides all of that the steak tasted really bad. To pay almost 30 dollars and get what I got, I would say it's absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this place and definitely avoid.

I have never written a negative review BUT I was so excited to sit down and eat lunch and when I bite into my chicken sandwich it was raw on the middle. I was in to much shock or I’d have taken a photo. It’s really a health issue to serve raw chicken and ruined my appetite. I think in that situation the manager should come and apologize or least share if there’s a reason behind it. Will not be eating there again and cannot recommend eating here.
