The lamb burger was sensational. Quick and friendly service. Also some solid vegetarian options. Chicken Kabab is also a favorite of mine here.

Food tastes great. I got lamb tagine the other day and today chicken sandwich and eggplant spread. Also got beef sandwich and pepper spread the 3rd time. All delicious

All I can say is wow! Zerza is like walking into your mother’s kitchen and getting a big hug. Food is favorful and portions are quite generous. I tried the chicken tfaya and the cauliflower. Definitely worth a visit!

We tried Chicken Tagine and Couscous Vegetables and enjoyed both. Especially the Tagine was so flavourful and tasty, would love to come back!

The chicken tagine was delicious and fell off the bone. I told them that for lunch, I’d like a smaller portion of meat and a small side of vegetables. They said that next time I could just ask and they’d add on the veggies.

This is the best kept secret at Essex Market… but I hope not for long because the food is amazing and should be enjoyed. I’ve had the chicken merguez and the beef stew sandwich. Can’t speak to much else because the beef stew sandwich is perfect every time so it’s become the go-to order. Very friendly and hard-working staff. Unfortunately, their spot in the market is not ideal as they are all the way in the back from main entrance in a corner. However, that does mean there’s usually no line or wait… for now. Highly recommend!

Just got home and pulled myself away from my falafel sandwich 🥙 and lentil soup. My goodness this is the BEST MOROCCAN meal I’ve had in recent memory. Expertly made by my new friend Dean, you can taste not only the amazing handcrafted flavors of Morocco but the true essence and authenticity of Moroccan hospitality. Will be there again!!!

A good attempt at Moroccan cuisine. Definitely recommend trying it for yourself. I went with an actual Moroccan and she enjoyed it but said ingredients could be better. All in all not bad. Staff was super friendly despite the long waiting time. You can walk around the food court as you wait though.

Every request gets handled with genuine care and attention. The meals here contain flavors missing elsewhere nearby. Zerza Mediterrano has so many standout features to mention. Their staff showed technical skill while being personable. I can't fathom reasons for anything less than perfect.

Delicious, and freshly prepared. The baba ghanough is fantastic. The hummus is smooth and creamy. Brought a food tour in tonight for a little taste of Moroccan cuisine and everyone was impressed. Essex Market is a great location. Highly recommend.

Great food and service. The Mediterranean salad is one of the best in the neighborhood. They are very nice about specific instructions like changing the amounts of different ingredients to better suit personal tastes.

We loved the stew beef pita sandwich, the cauliflower was good too, just a bit under seasoned but overall a good experience. A little advice for the owner: I wouldn’t leave the display dishes in open air, the food dries and looks less appealing after a certain time!

If you love Moroccan food this is the place for you!! Tried the appetizer trio, lamb tangine, chicken tangine, lentil soup! You really can't go wrong with any of these choices !! All were hearty and delicious! Don't forget to try the mint tea!

I got chicken tagine with couscous and lentil soup, and idk everything was pretty bland! It seems like they have pleased other customers, so I’m not gonna say they’re a total flop, but I wouldn’t go back myself. The lentil soup was soo watery and bland, I had to add a lot of seasoning and bouillon to make it hearty, and the couscous wasn’t salted, which would be fine except the tagine was also undersalted! The chicken was cooked well, and nothing was dry or overdone, but it was just beyond for me. I also wasn’t impressed by the pita, seemed defrosted to me.

Ordered the chicken couscous plate on seamless. Ordered over an hour in advance for when I wanted delivery. Not only did they deliver the order a full hour after the delivery time (again, emphasis on I ordered more than an hour in advance of when I did want it delivered) but what I got were bone dry plates of food. It was a piece of chicken leg on an insane pile of couscous with no seasonings, sauces, condiments, or any flavors at all. I was appalled because reviews and photos showed savory and well seasoned food- not what I got. Insanely disappointed by the overall experience. To top it all off, I was late to my commitments later on that day because I had to wait until the food was delivered. Reached out to customer service and never heard back.

Low quality food. It is not Mediterranean, people from Latin America are the cooks so it doesn't have any Mediterranean special taste. I don't recommend it.
