First of all, workers were really ignorant and didn’t greet just went straight to the point. Then I asked for a bowl and I wanted double, they gave me half scoops like that was double. 14 bucks for basically a regular chicken bowl. These workers need to learn not to be stingy with the food like they not keeping the meat for themselves. 0/10 do not recommend, your better off eating somewhere else.

Trash food, they serve you portions meant for a kindergartener and then look at you surprised when you ask for more meat. Then they didnt even have much meat, which I will forgive due to weather conditions, but to charge me 40 dollars for 2 bowls with hardly any meat and mostly rice is insanity. Will never come here again. We went to chipotle in Newark today for lunch, I already payed for my meal, and there was a cockroach on the counter. We tell the guy making the food, he picks it up with his gloved hands and squishes it. Then goes back to preparing food. 🤢🤮NEVER going there again.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The girl that was working the front on the night of 12/21 had the ugliest attitude. Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever had and we didn’t even have to exchange many words so she went out of her way to be very unkind to me and the person I was with and acted like us ordering was burdening her. The rest of the staff was polite and nice. Clearly she just hates her job.

Don't bother with this Chipotle. It was such a disappointment. Hey had NOTHING this all they were out the time I came: no chicken, no carne pasada, no diet coke, no cheese , no napkins , no grilled veggies . Regardless i give it a try and once they prepare my burrito even when they charge me for double portion it had barely anything. So bad that I usually ask for double tortilla so it's easy for them to wrap it and it was so small I wanted to be like "just use one tortilla honestly " it was so bad and small I almost walk out and didn't took the burrito after I ordered it but I didn't wanted to waste food so I bought that over priced burrito with nothing inside . The employee were really nice but even the chips with queso that I ordered to try to mitigate how small the burrito was barely had any chips.

Why are the work stations so filthy? Wipe down your counters and stations. All of the food was mixed. I asked the server to please exchange my guacamole because I saw pieces of meat and cheese all mixed together. She told me there wasn't anymore guacamole. Another employee told her to get a new tray of guacamole. She responded to her coworker with " you get the guacamole ". Keep your attitude at home. I don't pay to get dirty looks and attitude. I'll give 4 stars for service since that other employee was understanding and helpful.

I just left this location. I had a deeply frustrating experience at this Chipotle location that I feel compelled to share. I placed an order for two regular chicken bowls. After leaving the store and tasting the food, I realized I was given honey chipotle chicken instead, not what I ordered. That was already disappointing, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned to have both bowls remade. When I explained the issue, one of the associates actually tried to argue with me, insisting that one of the bowls had regular chicken because she "knows what honey chicken looks like." I had to urge her to taste it herself because it was clearly sugary and sweet…definitely not regular chicken. It’s frustrating enough to receive the wrong order, but to be told I’m wrong about what I tasted in my own food was absurd and condescending. Then, while waiting (which included a 10-minute wait for rice…fine, I was patient), I specifically asked for the smallest amount of the red hot sauce. I made this request clearly. Instead, I was given a full scoop of hot sauce dumped across the bowl, completely overpowering it. It was so spicy it was barely edible. So not only was my order incorrect the first time, but the remake also ignored my instructions entirely. This shows a serious lack of attention to detail, customer care, and basic professionalism. I don’t go to Chipotle to have my order mishandled twice and be met with pushback for trying to correct it. I’m disappointed, frustrated, and honestly pissed off that I wasted both time and money on what should have been a simple order. I will not be returning to this Newark location. This experience was unacceptable.

This is the worst chipotle staff I have ever encountered. On multiple occasions I have been ignored and today was physically pushed away in an attempt to remove me from standing next to the staff. I understand the frustration but I was waiting for 30 minutes for a mobile order (a cup) and was told to talk to the register people then they told me to go back to the mobile order line and then I spotted lo and behold my order which I was trying to and calmly explaining to them both. That push was entirely unnecessary and incredibly unprofessional. This chipotle location is the without a doubt the worst one I’ve stepped foot in.

This is my first time doing a review but today I feel that it’s something that I have to do. Usually I go to this specific store and request deliveries orders using DoorDash and UberEats. Today I asked for a Chicken Bowl; the food, the service and even the atmosphere were good but the store was a completely MESS, it was food on every table and I saw a horrible mouse eating next to me. IT WAS SO DISGUSTING!!! PLEASE, PEOPLE EAT THERE EVERYDAY. KEEP THE STORE CLEAN AND TAKE ACTION AGAINST THE PLAGUES THAT ARE LIVING THERE!!!

Went here twice in one week both days were not busy no line at all yet they barely had any food on the line had to order chicken because there was no steak my wife wanted the new Chipotle chicken yet there was only regular chicken asked for simple salad dressing was told there was none had to get brown rice because they had no white theres about 10 employees both days around 6pm they dont close until 11pm half the employees just hanging around MANAGEMENT!!!!please explain how there isn't food on the line at 6 in the afternoon 5 Hours left till closing and none being made who ever is managing this place needs to be FIRED!!!! this didnt only occur once but multiple times i live close so i go here alot but this got to a point where its unacceptable that im taking the time to write this review Furthermore, I strongly advise against ordering through Uber Eats from this location. They consistently half-portion everything or just completely mess your order up. Don't waste your money requesting extra portions, as you won't even receive a regular one to begin with. Please Do Better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish that I could give this Chipotle less than one star. AVOID this place at all cost!!!!! It is NOT worth your money. The cashier was so rude. I tried to ask her about the promo that Chipotle sent this morning. She kept saying that it was for the previous day when it stated that the promo was for today only. Her attitude was appalling! I decided to order a chicken burrito bowl through the app because none of the other workers knew anything either. (They told me to ask the cashier 🙄) I asked for peppers added to mine and didn't receive any at all. There was so little chicken in my "chicken" burrito bowl that it would be better to call this a rice bowl instead. My mom ordered the same thing, and she received a couple of peppers and just as little chicken. (Look at the photos to see what an entree looks like. I picked the chicken out of it so that you could see what they thought was okay to serve.) On top of all of that, the tables need to be cleaned in there. If you're craving Chipotle, find another location to visit.

Weren’t they busy when we came in… out of rice, chicken and barbacoa. Brisket tastes like brick. Soda machine was out of everything except for lemonade. Their fancy lemonade/fresca dispenser was bone dry and filthy. Out of napkins… asked guy at the register for napkins he said “if it’s not there I’m not sure what to tell you”.

This is the latest and final instance I have experienced with this location. Not only is this how they deliver food but also how they package it. This is completely unacceptable and disgusting.
