Blazing Bagels Newburgh Reviews
First time here. It was delicious Had a bacon egg and cheese on sesame bagel with home fries Service was great Will be back soon 👍👍👍
Different kind of bacon egg and cheese, It’s scrambled, the everything bagel is amazing very good every time is consistent and always good.
Best breakfast spot around. Great service and prices.
Enjoyed the food, well served and on point. They also sell pistachio muffins that I'll be going back for.. thanks lady with the glasses.. 😁
Best bagels around! Great selection of variety of bagels and better made/quality than the "other" guys. Love this place. When family comes to town we always cater with a bagel brunch from blazing and everyone is happy 😊
Great little shop for our first ever New York bagels. It did not disappoint. We ordered the blueberry , plain, and the French toast bagels. The customer service was fast and the employees were super friendly.... they sure didn't mind indecisive travelers. Don't forget to ask for the cream cheese and butter .... the drive around the bagel shop is so beautiful so definitely a great weekend ride and dine in the car to look around:)
I've been looking for a good breakfast/deli spot since I moved up north from the city. I can say with 100% certainty this is my new favorite spot. Its quaint, reasonably priced and has amazing bagels and Bacon, egg and cheeses. I've already recommended it to half a dozen people and will continue to do so. Amazing!
I ordered a BE&C on an everything bagel. The bagel was soft, egg perfectly done but the bacon had a different taste than I am used to that's why I gave it 4 stars. Other then that it's a nice little place.
Went in on a busy Friday morning. Service was quick and to the point, they were swamped. I ordered the barracuda bagel and it was decent. The lox were fresh and the cream cheese ratio was perfect! Theres a dining room for table service and a pickup counter as well as coffee other refreshments. Overall, I’d come back here again.
Updated Review: I now understand why this place closed early. They are insanely busy when they open. I got there around 830 maybe, and it was a 20 minute wait or more for my bagel sandwich. They are very affordable! And the salmon I got was delicious, but expect crowds and long wait. It is very very popular! The bagel was good. Precious review: Got there at 1:19. They close at 1:30. I figured I’d just grab a bagel to go. Everything was already packed up and I was told “we are packed up for the day. We close at 1:30. I’m sorry.” If you actually close at 1:19, then change your site to say that. If you don’t close until 1:30, then you should be serving customers until 1:30. I get closing the kitchen earlier than closing the store, but I was denied ALL service. Just resent driving out here when the time is not respected.
Solid BEC and SEC on bagels. Service was less than satisfactory. Staff was ornery & irate. Bathrooms are also reserved only for employees and dine-in customers only, not paying customers ordering to go. Grabbed a coffee at Dunkin down the road instead, which had better area for seating to eat as well.
Staff are rude. Bagels are decent. Word of warning that you must be a "dine-in" customer to use the bathrooms.
If you’re a regular the girl who runs the register will help you before she will help someone who is not. Even if you came in or standing in line first she will help someone who is a regular before you. Terrible service. Will drive farther to Downtown Bagels and be helped in the order you came in. Will never go back, terrible service.
Owner is rude lets their employees be rude to others and also the owner doesn’t know how to take criticism as soon as I order my food attitude from the gecko if you leave a bad review she will ban you from her cheap restaurant food not even worth it
Won’t let paying customers use bathroom unless they are dine in. If I’m buying food from you, I should be able to use your bathroom. There are no other bathrooms nearby. Was in town for a baseball tournament with kids and we can’t use your bathroom, really??? Bagel was small and there was a long wait. UPDATE: Your snarky response just exemplifies how you treat your customers & everything I said. Too bad your “customers” you appreciate so much “ruined” the use of your bathroom. I was in town for a baseball tournament with my kids. Just cause my kids weren’t inside with my husband & I that doesn’t mean they weren’t outside. I’m a 40 something year old woman who needed to use the bathroom. Not a homeless person or teenager who’s gonna trash it. I get locking it, but if someone asks you for the key they obviously have to use it, and there’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to. Anyone can come sit down at a table to gain access to it. Also, your bagel was small & there was hardly any egg or meat on it. And yes, you were busy by time we left, but when we arrived there where a total of 3 people in front of us.
The staff here clearly struggle with handling stress and it showed in their interactions with customers. The employees especially the women behind the counter taking orders was visibly upset and unprofessional, making the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. During a particularly busy time, instead of remaining calm and composed, the employees were openly rude and short with customers. I overheard the counter lady speaking poorly about customers and even the workers in the back. It was clear they were overwhelmed, but they had no ability to handle the situation with any professionalism or courtesy. It’s one thing to be stressed, but it's another to take it out on customers. The lack of empathy and poor emotional control really soured my experience. The customer service here is far below expectations, and I’m disappointed that such a well-known establishment could have such unhelpful and disrespectful staff. It’s clear that customer satisfaction isn’t a priority here, and I won’t be returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve their staff’s attitude and approach toward customers.
