Jalisco Mexican Restaurant Newburgh Reviews
I had the Mexican steak and it was delicious. Portions could have been more but the free chips and salsa made up for it. My beer was cold and tasty too.
Paella is so good! This is where I go weekly. Staff is good and food and prices. Specials on margaritas on Monday Wednesday Saturday and beer specials. Atmosphere is good.
We came here on a recommendation from the flea market people. The service was top-notch, although my jokes my have not landed well. The Paella was insanely good, guacamole fresco excellent, sweet tea is perfect, fresh chips.... good salsa... we came from 3 hours away, and the only disappointment is we can't just pop in for dinner regularly.
Awesome chicken nachos 😋 friendly staff, quick with meal prep . Clean establishment comfortable seating.
Definitely the best Tex-Mex spot in all of Evansville. Prices are amazing and the staff is fantastic. This is a regular spot for us. We go every Friday and love it every time we go. Definitely a good spot for very reasonably priced good meal.
They have the best chorizo dip in the area. We love everything that we have ordered. Food is very flavorful and tasty.
Godd food great service fair price.
Some of the better chips and salsa in the area. Had the tequila citrus glazed salmon and it was delicious! Very good margaritas too! I think they just took over the bar from next door and it could use some sprucing up.
The food was absolutely fantastic. I got the grande dinner so that I could sample a little bit of everything, and it was all delicious. Good value for the price... I definitely couldn't finish my meal in one sitting. I only knocked off a star because the service wasn't the greatest. We had a young gentlemen taking care of our table of six, and he seemed a bit overwhelmed.
In town with friends and they brought us to this place. The food was good and served to order. I did not find this to be very authentic. It is more what is referred to Tex-Mex. The .99 margarita were good and priced right. The staff was friendly and attentive. I left with a full stomach.
Chips and salsa were above average. Salsa was nice and chunky. Ordered chicken quesadilla and it was decent. Ordered it with chicken and cheese only, but peppers were inside. Chicken chimichanga was really good. What bumped it up to 4 stars was that guacamole was included with the salad.
Tortilla soup extremely bland, too much cheese in taco, was told sour cream came in tostada but there was none, salsa super, crazy mild tasting more like tomato juice than salsa
What happened? Use to be fast and good. Now it takes forever to get your food or a drink order! Have to spend more than two hours here to get even a simple meal when it is not busy. Make sure you have plenty of time or you will be disappointed.
Ordered online, got to the restaurant and they didnt even have my order even though I had an email confirmation. I also ordered a side of cheese which they charged me $5, if I'd had know when I ordered a regular size is $8, I would have just ordered that. Gentleman at the front desk seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but work tonight.
The food is good but the service really sucks. The servers are always rude as hell and look at you sideways when u ask for something that isnt a refill or your food. Itll be dead in the restaurant and they will still have you waiting 5-10 minutes for your bill or a refill.
The restaurant was not very appealing, food was sub-par and not visually appealing, children were allowed to run all over and be disruptive. We did not see our waitress except if we wanted something and then to bring us the bill. Not worth the price for sure.
Spent 13$ on a fajita taco salad to go. It's suppose to be topped with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese. It's literally just peppers and chicken. While I get home and find out my food wasn't half of what it was suppose to be, the guy who rang me up was rude about how much I was tipping. Not going back
