Taco Tienda Newburgh Reviews
1st time here, great food and prices! Food was ready quickly after I ordered. Highly recommend, and definitely coming back. Very good!
This place is great dine in, drive through, or carry out! Like a little taco tierra here in town! What can i say? We love it!
Rest in peace Taco Bell. You know how many greasy broken hard tacos I’ve got from them. I decided to try this place out order two hardshell tacos. It was nice for the first time in my life being able to eat a taco that wasn’t so greasy and soggy. It was delicious and crisp and the meat even had a spicy sweet texture to it and they weren’t stingy with the dressings it was full to the brim. The taco stayed together all the way to the last bite very impressed and a good taco.
We needed to grab dinner before the Reitz/Castle game, and decided to give it a try. I was a little hesitant about it being in a gas station, but I'm so glad we stopped! The food was delicious and more importantly the prices were reasonable. That's rare to find both these days. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and willing to answer all my questions. Good enough that even be west sideres, we'll make the trip east to have if again.
This place is great. Its in a gas station so you can grab other stuff like pizza etc. The servings were big. The service was fast. The food was tasty. Its based off of Taco Terra in Princeton indiana which is my hone town and my favorite place. Try a chicken cheezy with rand on the side to dip or a Sancho supreme mild. Those are my favorites
Love this place. Quick service and good food. I had the chicken/bean burrito and a chicken sancho with mild sauce. I definitely got my money's worth. Give them a try!
Divinity returned! Everyday is taco day at this unassuming gas station on Grimm Road. To the true heads from the Taco Tierra days, this is an excellent reunion. The bands back together. Playing all the hits. The best tacos are always piggy-backed.
Amazing! Tasteful! Delicious! Absolutely spot on to Taco Tieara! Now I don't have to drive all the way to Princeton, lol. Truthfully if you haven't tried either yet, you should try here!
Went to check out the location after reading some of the reviews. Went inside the building as it is located within the gas station. The order assembly area is small which will account for the slower serving time. None the less the food was loaded and the order is correct. The employees are approachable and honestly didn't hassle me while looking over the menu. The area was clean with a small dine-in area. As it is part of a gas station, there is plenty of beverage options to go with the meal. Stop by and get you a bite to eat, if your in a hurry go someplace else or take your frustrations out someplace else. Things take time to make, and it will be worth the wait.
Finally was able to stop by on way out of town. We ordered 3 chicken soft shell tacos, a beef soft shell taco, and a large order of chips and cheese. Tacos had a good amount of lettuce, cheese, and meat. Chicken was good, beef tasted similar to the meat you'd find in a tamale but was good. Chips and cheese was a bit of a let down, as cheese didn't have a strong taste on its own nor did the chips have much flavor... so I'll skip these on next visit. Coworkers were friendly, order prepared fast, and food was correct. Would recommend a visit!
I love taco Tierra’s food, so was super excited for this place. This place is okay, but I’ve spent at least 30 minutes bare minimum each time I have visited the drive thru. Today there was 3 cars ahead of me and I spent 45 minutes in the drive thru and was just about late to work. Completely insane that it takes that long for fast food. And I got the smallest chicken chee z I’ve ever seen before lol
We tried Taco Tienda after hearing all the excitement for their opening and were disappointed in the quality of the food. The tacos were soggy and watching food come out of a microwave to be given to me was disappointing. Not sure what exactly I was expecting for an order of chips with cheese, but soggy chips with shredded cheese microwaved on top wasn't exactly what I expected. I tend to expect food from a restaurant to be at least as good as what I can make at home, this wasn't the case this time. Not sure I'll be going back if microwaved dishes are the norm. If that's how they operate, I'd at least suggest moving the miceowave so you can't see all your food come out of it sitting at the drive through window.
I've been here twice and both times my potato was brown all the way through like they baked it that morning and still served it 8 hrs later. The broccoli that they put on there is nothing but the stalks of the broccoli. I will say the tacos were good though.
I am a long time fan of Taco T, but so disappointed in the service. Ordered 4 Che-Z’s with mild sauce and black olives and a supreme sancho with no onions. I received 3 plain Che-Z’s and a regular sancho with extra onions. So sad because I was so excited to have Taco T here in town.
The girl taking orders was rude and to busy wanting to get back to her conversation to listen to my order or answer my questions about the menu. The chips were stale. They have them sitting out in foam containers exposed to moisture. Over all a poor experience and way to expensive for the quality of the food. Loved this place when they opened, but the inmature workers spent more time vaping, going out for smokes, gosiping and cussing where customers can hear than working. There is much drama and goofing off here.
I waited about 10-15 minutes inside while they fixed all the cars in the drive thru. When I finally got mine they were all cold. Terrible!
