There's an old saying: if you rush a cook, you get bad food. The food here is tastier than any other Del Taco I've had. It's also the longest wait I've ever had for Del Taco food. So it might be the placebo effect (took longer, so I think it's tastier). Regardless, the staff seemed pretty hip and friendly.

I love Del Taco, My favorite fast food restaurant. My favorites are the chicken 🥑 guacamole tostada, egg & cheese breakfast burrito, with green sauce instead of red (which Taco Bell no longer offers). My favorite burrito is the Del Grilled Chicken Burrito. There Guacamole is always fresh and superb, better than most restaurants. For some reason Del Taco doesn't have a great reputation, but I don't know why, I always enjoy it, I even bought stock in it!

The place was clean and organized. Drive thru gets a little crowded sometimes. Good safety precautions taken during. Virus season, prices are unbeatable, and food is decent for price.Outdoor seating not available during virus.

Del Taco serves pretty standard fare, but the service is quick, and the food is good. It's easy to feed my large family at a reasonable price. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is helpful. I'm glad we chose this Del Taco over others where I've had subpar service. The restroom is extremely clean, and the entire restaurant is handicap accessible. Despite the small space, the open floor plan makes it convenient for feeding my big family.

Never had Del Taco until a few days ago and I’m obsessed! How does any other fast food chain exist?! They have everything from fry’s , tacos, burgers and even ramen! We have ate here everyday since we been here. The food is amazing and fresh even at 2am! I’ve always been a Taco Bell girl but not anymore! Del Taco for life! 💪🏽

This place used to have the slowest moving line and there were always issues and ever changing staff, I don't know what happened but it's been much faster since I started coming back it's been a few weeks. Note the grilled chicken tacos can be ordered with the hard shells and they're really good.

Del Taco is my go-to spot when I’m craving fast, fresh, and flavorful food. The quality and taste always impress me — especially for the price! Not a bad dinner at Del Taco. Long Lines both in store and the drive through means their doing something good. Got a $6 box meal as well as #9. Both of which were tasty! Their tacos smoke those of Taco Bells', however their bean burrito lacks the delicious consistency and taste of that of their rival. I see so many complaints about the wait to get their food, but quality takes time. You do know they Hand Grate their cheese with Pride, right? In addition, their pico de gallo is sliced, grated and chopped in house daily! So give them a break. If you need speed, check out another fast food joint. If you want Quality, then get in line and keep your rude comments to yourself.

Sonetimes the drive thru can take forever. I have no idea why, but I was in the drive thru for 10 minutes like 4am with one person in front of me. It really wasnt busy. But the customer service is usually nice and food is tasty.

Usually fast and accurate with orders, but an older employee was not up to par the other Tuesday having me repeating my order 3 times at the speaker and another 2 times at the window. Other than him, the place is great.

The food was decent. I really like that I was still able to buy a chocolate shake at a later time at night. Most fast food restaurants seem to always say that their shake machine is down after 10:00 p.m.

Food was good but portion was way smaller then in the past, same price, and the girl that took my order only offered 2 choices in salad dressing which I didn't want and wouldn't listen when I asked about another dressing. Drive through was super slow for the time of evening I went through. Maybe they were short staffed because it wasn't super busy.

The food is Usually made to order and seems fresh, not frozen. Not the best Mexican, but great for the amazingly low prices. Also, the drive through is rarely backed up like some other places.

We visited CA and one of the things we were told to do was to visit as many local taco chains as we could. Del Taco was nearby and we were hungry. The food was a small step above normal for chain American-Mexican. But the interior of this store was run down and not well maintained. We were there late in the evening, so it had a whole day to get dirty, but it was dirtier than I expected. We will have to try a different location to see if that is common for the chain or just this particular location. I hope it is the latter.

Love love love taco tuesday and thursday. Chicken tacos on thursday are my absolute fav. The salads they have at Del are what taco bell's used to be. Give em a try, quite tasty. Del's burgers are great as well. The crinkle fries are the icing on the cake! Their traditional classics (burritos, quesadillas) are great. The fish tacos are always a yummy item. When in season, the shrimp tacos and burritos are a palate delight!!!

We’ve only used the drive thru for our del taco cravings, so I can’t say much about the interior atmosphere. The drive thru is a little on the slower side, it usually ranges but it’s almost always incredibly slow. However, the workers are usually kind, and I’ve never had a complication with my order.

The person who took my order was very friendly. It just took over 6 minutes to get my order, I was asked to pull up and wait for the order, I expected the fries to be hot but they were just warm. Other than having to wait too long for the order, I as happy with my trip here.

The tacos was flavorful and so good. One of the best location for mexican dishes. The burrito combo was also good. The portion size was reasonable with the price. Nice service.

I have to look into the bag and make sure I get my order right every single time. I know they're working really hard and it's super busy. So other than that, it's really good and I like going there. Also I love that they give out a free milkshake for your birthday if you are enrolled in the rewards program. My mom loves her milkshake. This is some seriously good milkshake. It's actually worth going to if you want some really good milkshake. They're like strawberries in it, real strawberries. There's a whip cream on the top... seriously, if you go there, the number one item you should check out is the milkshakes. I wish they make caramel milkshake with sea salt. That's my favorite flavor.

I have been going to this del taco by my work for many years. The food is always good which is why i go a couple times a month. The drive through used to be really slow...but lately i have noticed an improvement in staff and how better they are at handling the drive through and wanted to acknowledge that. I will continue to go due to service and food quality.

Crew was cool. They could work on garbage cans overflowing but other than that they were doing a decent job.

I have been a fan of Del Taco since I lived up in Los Angeles,, Hollywood CA areas. The only location that I would visit in the San Fernando valley.. probably 25 minutes from Ventura Blvd. I prefer the Beer battered Tacos,,that are coated pieces of shrimp. 🔹🔹🍤🌮🍤🌮🍤🌮🔥. This location i stopped at years ago,,when I was in an Uber. It's located on the corner of Hillcrest and Ventu Park Blvd. It's in the same shopping plaza as Ralph's grocery,and various restaurants, lottery ticket retailer's and Mom/Pop stores. I stopped in and ordered 3 shrimp 🍤🌮🍤🔹Tacos that are soft shell,with lettuce,tomatoes 🔹🍅🔹,,lime and probably Cole slaw. It was rather early,,they had two customers in there. This location is 24/7 and with it being ❤️Mother's Day 🌺,, I didn't know if they were open so early. My total order came to 10.71$ .. they offer alot of specials. Maybe because the economy is in the toilet,, eating out is rather tough on people these days. I was in a hurry and decided to take my meal with me . The fountain drink,,they offer many options for beverages. From water,Hi-C fruit punch,Root beer,Coca cola and Dr.Pepper. This location is kinda dated ,, but the staff were very kind . My meal arrived in a timely fashion. I especially like the Quesadilla.. Muy favorite 🔹🔹😂🔹🔹✌️

The drive through window is extremely distorted. They couldn't hear us very well either. They got our order wrong. The food was very good though, and they replaced the mistake for us for no charge. I suggest going inside so they can actually hear you if you want a better experience.

This Del Taco is hiring. They could certainly use some more employees to help make the experience faster. The ones working there now are very polite but it takes a while to get your food. The food is good.

I generally like Del Taco because they offer Turkey tacos as an alternative to beef. Their sodas are generous, and their hot sauce is genuinely hot! However, this location consistently has dirty tables and disgusting restrooms. Staff is overall disinterested. Coupons must be printed on paper and not accept digitally on mobile devices. Overall "meh" at best.

I was hungry, needed a quick bite. Don't rely on fast food for your meals. Use in case of emergency. Best rule. Cook at home better, just have to make the time.

Standard Del Taco fare, which I enjoy. But the lunch crowd clearly overwhelmed the apparently limited staff. The restaurant itself was in desperate need of cleaning...floors, tables, and bathroom, which detracted from staff efforts at quick and friendly service.

The only good thing here was the service and the establishment. The food is low quality. They add this stupid sauce to everything and everything has yellow cheese on top. Really, there's like 3 dishes without cheese on top. I regret giving this fast food chain a chance. Here's a pro-tip: Go to an actual Mexican food restaurant. Not a fast food franchise. Same price, more food and better tasting. A real restaurant makes food for you to enjoy, while a fast food chain just wants the order done.

Got fish tacos that were over cooked. My husband could not eat them the were so hard he almost broke a tooth. My chicken soft tacos were awesome!! They are short on supplies could not get a large or medium drink due to not having cups or lids depending on the size. For the most part great food and great service. Some days I regret going....

The foods, staff members and ambience at this location was great but my only concern is the restaurant need to pay more attention to the public bathroom and do some thing about the multiple gang related graffiti that's all over the walls and trash can. Normally I enjoy Del Taco while on the road but at this location we received the wrong order 2x, and the dining room and bathroom were not clean.

It was a good place to stop by and get some fast chow. But ever since they got rid of the good workers ( they E-verify now) the highschool kids working there don't really know how boil an egg which translates to quesadillas being uncooked with the cold cheese and hot chicken being toss into the tortilla.

This place needs a better Manager. Last two times I've been there something always goes wrong. First time, got my order wrong and shorted me a burrito which left someone without lunch. Second time they asked me to wait in front of the store for my order and they would bring it out, I waited for about 15-20 minutes no one ever came out, went inside the store to ask for my food, and the employees had no clue what happened to my order, they had to search for it on their screen and finally asked the cook, if he had made my order and he told them, it's been sitting there.

Food is good but this is literally the slowest drive thru in the world. I've been here a bunch and it's always slow but last night was so bad I had to let the public know with a 2 star review!!! My friend and I went last night and there was 2 cars in front of us in the drive thru and they did not move for 15 minutes...not an exaggeration either...I time this drive thru every trip now and this was the worst. Luckily no one pulled in behind us so we backed out and left and still the cars in front had not moved. Crazy slow drive thru...still worth it on taco Tuesday though...

It makes me sad that this is the only Del Taco near us. While the food is decent del taco quality, but the preparation is terrible. They squish big orders into small bags, break taco shells, and it is obvious that they just slap food together without a second thought. There is no care in preparation or in packaging. Decent to hit a Del Taco craving, but it's nothing to be desired.

If you have the late night munchies, make sure you are patient... You gonna be waiting a loooooooong time..... I don't know if it is maybe the ONE worker they have working the window, or maybe the ONE worker they have working the entire location!!! Food was fine, good and hot, but the line... My GAWD!!! never again!

the food is not good. taco not fresh shells either. that place is my last resort. i only like chicken soft taco or burritos. that would be it. the taco they have there could be a lot better. the manager isamel is a very nice guy give him a huge raise.

Drive thru order was wrong x3 errors. Bottled versus a cup of water. Asked for a dozen hot sauce, received 5 mild. Asked for a single cheeseburger add pickle and onion, got single ketchup only. Not what I ordered and didn't want told hold up the line behind me to check. Really?

Not really feeling welcomed here...Parking is a little unusual - not drive up and park. More like meander through the parking lot and park. The soda fountain was locked up despite being right by the cashier. The tables and dining area were dirty. No happy smiles greeting you. However, the napkins and straws were within reach. Catsup and hot sauce is available by just asking. Oh, not too many people to wait for your food <at least today>...

This location is EXTREMELY unreliable for late nite service l!! Half the time they leave a make-shift "we are closed" sign of paper written in sharpee pen taped over their drive thru speaker. This has occurred in multiple experiences for me and just happened once again as I write this review... UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!! There is either something wrong with management or the graveyard shift just gets away with it. If they're hours have changed, then their online statis must be altered.

This location just cannot get it right. My order is wrong more times than it's right. Today, I only wanted a drink. Got in line behind a truck at the screen. Sat there for more than 15 minutes. I was blocked in, so I finally called. She said the sensor didn't alert them that anyone was waiting. A line formed around the entire restaurant. Almost a half hour for a drink. Thanks

Lacked proper staffing, drive thru was packed so we went inside to order. Just us and one other customer, there were two employees!! We watched the food prep which occurred quicker than it's packaging. Then the food sat until the multitasking caught up. We got our 4 items about 11 minutes after ordering, took the 5 mile trip home, 4.5 of it on the frwy, and had to nuke our food. Food should obviously be properly packaged after assembly. It was mediocre at best once reheated. Not sure if this is par for the course or if it was an off night for DT.

This is an average Del Taco, food was good they had fresh veggies, the reason for the 2 stars because as soon as you walk in.... the whole place smelt like dirty mop water..... pretty easy fix though. (Bleach) We tried the new carna asada and queso torta, the new crispy chicken and guacamole torta and the new strawberry pinata shake.bThe shake was good had a nice big straw which was needed because of the chocolate pieces were nice and chunky. The crispy chicken Torta was my favorite of the two we tried.

I was short a burrito and they put green sauce instead of red sauce. I called just to let them be aware of the mistake. (Didn't want anything) the shift manager hung up on me and wouldn't answer phone again when I called back thanking maybe it was an accident. I will be calling the district office first thing in the morning. Shift manager that was working at 8:55 watch out...

This is worst del taco to come to. If you ever want your order messed up or get home and when the lady asked you if you wanted hot sauce and you kindly say yes and which one, you have none. Cheated me out of a dollar worth of beans, the lady repeated my order correctly in the drive thru. However, when I ate my food at home the bowl was missing the beans. It would cost me a dollar in gas to travel there. This location frequently screws up your food order. In the past the manger accused me of lying, when I was being truthful, and refused to replace my order. I have decided rather than waste my time with the management to continue to write reviews about the poor service that I receive at this location. Many times this location has served me stale tortillas.

We were here Sunday night for pick up order at 9:15 pm on 07/03/2022. The guy was in drive through cashier said us I tired working from 6:00 AM and I am tired and I can’t place your order and said to me dont come back to this store. You are not the owner to say this word. also he has problems with the other customer infront of us and he said I am gone call for your manager. If you tired go home this is not your job. Drove up to the drive through. Sat in the car for 10 min and finally someone started to take my order and stopped. We waited 5 more min and could hear employees playing around, we finally drove up to the window. There was no employee to be seen working the window Very disappointing.

Order the Queso Fries and it was horrible. The quality of the food is not good. I would prefer Taco Bell over this. And I hate Taco Bell. The employee did a great job at providing good customer service.

I went in there today Saturday around 3:45 p.m. I was delivering to the Ralph's grocery store across the street in the same complex I had already logged in my break in the computer and lunch so I mosey on over to the del Taco and there's a sign on the window that says due to short staffing our lobby is closed please go to the drive-thru. Okay I'm driving an 18-wheeler as an essential worker I'm hungry I wanted to take my lunch at del Taco so I stand there at the drive-thru nobody answers and then I walk up to the window and they look at me and just basically ignore me, I tried to explain to the young girl at the window and I am not blaming her for not understanding but I'm telling her look I'm out here working I'm hungry I wanted to get something to eat I already logged in my lunch is there anyway I can get this and the manager comes out and says sorry sir you have to be in the car? Okay I do understand that there are other places to eat let's not be totally unreasonable but I was wanting to give del Taco my business and have that food after I had already logged in my lunch in the computer so they weren't even considering making an exception for me and the only complaint that I can give legitimate is it's not my fault on the 4th of July weekend that you have short staff why doesn't the manager or the district manager come in to serve the del Taco customers due to that I will never go there again or give them my business now I had to go drive off unlock my lunch and all these things because nobody could make an exception because they could not staff the people that they needed on the 4th of July weekend...

Horrible disgusting ghetto place. Employees as well as the manager didn’t know what the hell they were doing and messed up the entire order. Ran my credit card like 5 times. Idiots! Looks like only low life people work there as well as eat there. Their was a meth head looking girl going in and out of the place and acting disturbingly odd. They clearly only hire drug addicts that cannot make a single correct order or follow directions!! Made everything in my bag incorrectly and refused to answer phone when trying to file a complaint with the store. Will be contacting Health Department to resolve my issue! Very Rude staff and manager. They have no respect for senior citizens. Poor packaging, dirty, not COVID safe. They do not let you use public restroom which absolutely ridiculous. Seniors need to use restrooms more often. Be careful when you go there.

Employees seem to be friendly but can’t verify for sure as I was in the store standing in line the only customer in the store for 10 min as one of the managers finally greeted me and told me I would be helped soon. I then waited another 15 min until I decided to write this review. I understand the possibility that they may be understaffed, really busy undertrained or a mixture of all those however there is no excuse of not being able to communicate that it would have been much faster to go to the drive through as they have helped at least 6 customers that arrived after I did in store. I don’t mind waiting however it should never be OK to be skipped and ignored over and over again. After a 25 minute wait and several customers helped in front of me I was persistent enough to finally have my order placed as stated they are very friendly however what’s even more important than being friendly is being able to communicate properly I would really appreciate if this feedback is taken seriously to show how important transparency is.

This place SUCKS! There was pee all over the bathroom floor and graffiti everywhere. Their food gave me the runs almost instantly, how do you mess up tacos so bad? It's your name...also they had a 12 year old working at the counter. Pretty sure that's illegal.

Only come here cause well it's cheap and tastes good, terrible service most of the time , mostly high schoolers working and we'll they really aren't trained well and they don't staff properly majority of the time. Service has gone downhill ever since nice the old manager left, okay had to edit this cause I came back again a week later after work and they were closed on a Saturday night at 10:10, I tried to see why they were closed but I legit got screamed at by some employee cleaning something behind the register pretty sure she used profanity but I can't be positive on that, safe to say that was the last time I will be going here. How can they even be closed on a Saturday night when they say 24/7 sorry nope doesn't happen like that out of the blue. Employees are rude, clueless and just downright bad really sad to see how this store has become

The staff here are incredibly rude. They refused to allow me to place an order because I could not use the drive thru. This amounts to discrimination. They did not even bother to understand my issue, they just kept gesturing to the drive through. Finally someone came to the window and shouted "Cant help you!" This is not the way to treat customers.

One person in front of me and it took 25 minutes. Had to say my order 6 times. Guy taking orders wasn’t aware of what specials that had some the menu. Slowest drive thru in Ventura Co. Had to turn my car off waiting for someone to ask what I wanted.

Extremely Slow under staffed at night app ordering is not always checked and can be missed causing a 30 minute delay which is the exact opposite of what the order ahead is for. Not worth waiting for at all the worst service I have ever had no one trying to say where almost done after missing the online order not trying to fix the mistake or expedite the order to fix the oversite. Finally walked out in disbelief and let them keep the 10 dollars it will be the last time I visit for any reason I drop to jack in the box and got food in under 4 minutes without ordering ahead.

I love Del Taco, but this location has been the SLOWEST of any fast food location around for several years. The drive thru is always slow and most cars still end up sitting at the window for more than 5 min. After waiting so long, the food should be ready to go. Something needs to change. Get mgrs, trainers, and employees who know what they’re doing and can work well as a team.

I have to say this place has gone downhill. The people work there just don’t know what they are doing. The epic burritos are not made right. They barely had any meat and grac, filled with rice and bean, so they are not worth the price. The fish tacos didn’t even come with lime wedges like they are supposed to. And the cashier refused to take more than 1 coupons which is a pretty stupid rule, because we have two people and we want to make two separate transactions. Overall, I’m disappointed and won’t be going back.

This is the 3rd or 4th time they’ve left out my burger. They didn’t give us our receipt either. We ordered two fries, one of them was like super fresh but barely had any in it and the other was jam packed with fries that seemed like they have been sitting all day. Super rude again too. Horrible food, the burrito looked like it would give me food poisoning and the fries were the only good thing there, everything about this place sucked, the only good part about it was that I didn’t eat the whole burrito so I didn’t get sick.

I drive for a living so I quite often am faced with eating at fast food restaurants and have been to many different Del Taco restaurants and this is by far the worst!! The woman who I was forced to deal with was rude and unhelpful. I am a senior, and one of the things I've always liked about Del Taco is they have a senior discount (when asked) but when I asked here I went rudely told they only discount is for drinks. And if your getting a meal combo there's no discount. My other issue was she said I must use the touchscreen kiosk instead of taking my order personally. And when I was entering my order the option for a senior discount was clearly on the screen but won't work without a special discount code which she said she didn't have. On top of this the food that I received was absolutely substandard in comparison to the other Del Tacos I have visited recently. I hope the management of the store reads this and takes appropriate action, because with the cost of their food now days, the food and the service should be in par with the all the other Del Taco restaurants.

Absolutely do not eat here! This is by far the worst location ever. They made us pull forward and after a long wait I had to walk inside and they hadn't even started my order and when I finally did get my food I got home and was missing two items. The fish taco was rock hard you litterly couldn't even bite into it. The staff was rude and incompetent and you can't call to fix anything because they won't answer the phone.

In the photo provided I had sat in the line for let alone 20 minutes waiting for the employee to take my order. Everytime I ask if they are ready the respond with one minute. I cannot back out of the line due to a car behind me. The service is slow at night. Anything past 9 do not even bother. Worst service I have received in a long time. Will not be coming back. If you have 45 minutes to waste, order here because it might take you an hour.

This place is a disaster. It took over 10 minutes for them to take the order of the guy in front of me. I decided to go inside and order. After waiting almost 10 minutes again someone took my order. While i waited i realized that the entire kitchen floor was under an inch of filthy water. It was disgusting, there were fries, cookies and cardboard in the water. I couldnt eat my food after seeing that. Dont recommend going to this del taco

Worst fast food experience ever and incorrectly prepared $40 order. Broken in half hard shell tacos with almost no ingredients which are shoved into one small area. The manager didn't believe I had a pickup order and told me she would do nothing about it even though I was showing her my receipt. When I was leaving a customer told me it had reappeared on the screen, the manager wasn't even going to tell me. The manager then screamed at me a second time when I asked for her name, Yetsoanie at 2:10 pm July 8th.
