Brewery Draconum Newhall Reviews
Draconum is easily the best brewpub in Santa Clarita. They're always coming out with new beers and dishes to try so you're always tempted to come back. Staff is incredibly friendly. Food and beer are top tier. Patio is fun and theres a bunch of games you can play.
I live in Michigan but when I visit my sons in California Brewery Draconum is one of the first stops. Ben makes great beer and runs a great place with his sister - one of my favorites anywhere!! I will be visiting later this month and will definitely be back!
The caprese sandwich was great, the sweet potato fries were delicious. Newhall Pale was the perfect match. Service was very good, just enough to take care. Thank you
Great selection of beer, the food is great and the service is nice and friendly. Recommend this place for their brunch and appetizers. Great place overall.
Shepard's pie with cold lager!!! Spent three (3) years in London and always on a search for the best Shepard's pie- I found it in Newhall California. Everything about this family owned place is on point. I went on-line to find out more about this place. Need to go back and meet the award-winning local Chef Andres Moya, Thanks Ben for the tour of the beer making process- complex with very tasty results. What a great experience and I will be back for the food, great service, great beer and family atmosphere.. What a treat after golf -- Draconum brew and a killer burger-- see you soon. Dr. Rick
Their beers are amazing including the Back to Normal beer. The pretzel and beer cheese are my wife's and mine's favorite. Fish tacos are incredibly flavorful too. You can't go wrong at Draconum.
super cute brewery with great beer and good food. Service is good and they have a cute outside patio, the inside is small and intimate a nice place to have beer and have conversations.
We had a large group outside today & our waitress was wonderful! Brittany not only got what we asked for, she anticipated what we might want. She was great, as was the food.
Friendly staff and great service. Fish and house chips were perfectly cooked. Really enjoyed the flavor of their ABVaf ale. Will be going back soon.
Always a blast! Food, drink, and great people!
This place has evolved very nicely. Excellent food, beers, and service. The staff here are always welcoming. Very well done by the brother/sister owners.
Amazing place to bring the kids. Super friendly, kids can play outside while the adults enjoy lunch or dinner. The manager was great and replaced a dish that the kid asked by mistake. We will come again.
Awsome place to share beautiful craft beers, fresh from the tank. Great meals to pair them too. Had a beautiful experience every time I go.
Just went here for my 1st time a couple of weeks ago for a buddies birthday. We sat out back, which was really nice. The service was spot on, very attentive, and friendly. They recommended a number of beers for us to try and all were outstanding. The food selection is really diverse and everything we tried was great. Another great addition to the Old Town Newhall area give it a try.
A nice restaurant / brewery in a nice location in Old Town Newhall. They have a beer garden out back and plenty of different beers on the menu, even ciders and wines. They have some games set up outside that the kids loved. Free street parking and a free parking in a parking garage and theaters across the street. They even have boardgames you can grab and play. Great atmosphere, great food!
I went with a friend on his recommendation and I was VERY thoroughly impressed by such a quaint little spot. Attractive in decor, the menu is simple bar style foods but where they shine is the quality and craftsmanship of their food. I got a dragon burger which despite it's name isn't going to make you sweat, but it has a welcome kick with absolutely delicious high quality ingredients. I had pickle spears on the side, hand breaded and lightly fried so it was depressing there weren't more of them! Seriously, the pickles still had a snap and the perfect amount of in house made breading that made me want to take an order of them home with me. I tried one of their in house made dark brews, the name fails me right now, but as someone who doesn't usually drink craft beers, it blew me away. This is a great restaurant for dates, or even for a couple of friends to hang out at with excellent food and even better beers. Check this place out for sure!
Brews, food, and area are great. Please, go to the beer garden in the back. It is an OASIS!!!
Brewery Draconum has become one of our frequent stops when we are travelling North/South through the LA area. Located just a few miles from the hotel strip in Santa Clarita makes it an easy side trip! We enjoyed the comfortable beer garden out back, the nice selection of beers and the addition of guest taps with a nice selection of beers/ciders from other breweries!
Very nice staff. Very welcoming and helpful. I like coming to a new place feeling welcomed. Staff makes or breaks the place. Food was excellent. I tried the veggie burger (beyond meat) and it was AWESOME! Also tried the black bean dip and they were generous with the dip and chips. Worth It! Try it!
This is a fun place with great beer and excellent food. I am a vegetarian and they have several delicious choices even for me. My favorite is the vegeburger protein style. I can have vegetables instead of the home made potato chips if I am feeling virtuous. The staff is friendly and always takes good care of us.
Good beer and food. We went for a comedy night and had a great time. Atmosphere is nice upscale relaxed. They also have a large beer garden area in back with heaters, tables, and games. Totally reccomend.
I had the DELICIOUS pleasure of trying the new brunch menu at Draconum and OH EM GEEEEE!!!! The breakfast flatbread will change your life and have you praying to gods you didn't know existed. The pain perdu was a gift straight from Mount Olympus, I'll be comparing every French toast dish I eat to this one. Don't sleep on this incredible meal!!! Their new chef is talented beyond measure and the outdoor space is perfect with the newly installed turf grass 🙌
This Place was absolutely Amazing, the Staff tonight was so funny it made the atmosphere feel very welcoming and at home. The food was amazing. I had the Salmon dinner and i told the waitress to tell the chef it tasted like my mothers cooking. This place needs a metal.
It's a great little brewery. I had a spare 30 mins to kill, waiting for a train, and popped in. Great beers friendly staff. I plan on popping back and trying more when I have the time.
They have a well curated beer list including their own and I've tried most of the menu, enjoying pub standards like the bangers and shepherd's pie, new items like the vegetarian burger, and my latest favorite, the salmon dish! Occasionally they have live music and there's a back patio with games. Well worth a visit!
When you want a delicious meal (or snack) and a refreshing, flavorful beverage, Brewery Draconum is the place to go. Their friendly staff and talented cooks (everything is freshly made, no frozen fries or onion rings here!) will make sure your dining experience is superb. Menu items range from comfort food (shepherd's pie, anyone?) to healthy (killer salads with protien-friendly add-ons) and they are one of the only places serving banoffee for dessert (what that? Go try one!). The restaurant interior is comfortable and the backyard, set up with games and picnic tables, is family-friendly. I celebrated my birthday at Draconum and I'm planning on meeting friends there next week for dinner. Don't miss it - definitely a highlight of the Arts District (Laemmle theater across the street, live theater venues down a couple of blocks).
This is a great place with a fantastic staff, Joe behind the bar is the man. If you are looking for a nice comfortable place to have a delicious beer, check this place out. The outside beer garden is really nice. Check it out. COVID Update: Stopped here to have lunch with my buddy and I was so pleased with my experience. The beer garden was lovely and very comfortable. I felt safe and cared for the whole time. Kristina was lovely and also very attentive. She gave us good food recommendations and made sure our drinks stayed full. 5 stars well deserved.
Incredibly friendly staff. Great food and I mean holy god Emma stone crossed eyed face yum. Great happy hour deals and fun games out back. Great atmosphere. Great beer. 10/10 would recommend.
Small place, friendly folks, great comfort food and very nice Belgian golden ale. Out of state here on business and I have to say from East coast to West Coast the food here post Covid exceeded expectations. IMO many States have recovered providing the quality of food prior to. Draconum was Great !!!
I’ve now visited four times in my way through LA. Literally everything I have had from the beer to the food to even the coffee has been delicious while the staff has been awesome each time. My fear is that this place becomes so popular it will making getting a table next to impossible. But that’s a good thing for them.
This place has a great selection of beers. I got two flights with my father in law and enjoyed most of the wide variety of brews we ordered. They also have a decent food selection, although I only ordered wings. The back area, while not huge, has a couple of game areas (cornhole) and some much needed shade for those hot days. The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick. I’d love to go back!
I love the food.I’ve tried a lot of food there and thought that the salmon has an amazing texture that goes great with the delicate sauce. The chicken on the hot chicken sandwich itself was amazing and looked like a perfect glaze was coating it. The only problem is the takeout because it sometimes can get cold or taste not as good, then again that is honestly partially the cost of taking food to go,It’s not going to be as good.Overall ,the food was great and the service was even better. All the servers are so nice and easy to talk to .The atmosphere really captured the theme of draco (meaning dragon in Latin in this case brewery draconum means brewery of the dragon so it’s only right for there to be dragons).I have a great time every night I go there so 5/5.
We had brunch at Brewery Draconum recently with the whole family. The menu is incredible with lots of delicious options. The food was perfectly done with just the right portions. The staff and atmosphere were 10/10 and they have a great spot out back so we could enjoy the sun while being sheltered from the wind. Our daughter enjoyed playing with the toys there too. We can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you Brewery Draconum! Can’t wait to come back.
Looking for a new place to enjoy good food, good beer and a relaxed atmosphere? This is it. If you enjoy a good flavor, this is it. We usually get the Hot Chicken Sandwich, but tried something a little different the other night - the Chipotle Chicken Club.... Love It! Got it with the homemade chips, but ordered a side of Buffalo Cauliflower and Beer Battered Onion Rings, which were BOTH to die for! Service was spot on, got us what we ordered and wanted really fast. Was cold out back, so we opted to eat inside. But Love and Prefer to partake the backyard experience.
The Dragon Fire Sauce is a perfect balance of heat and flavor, truly elevating any dish. While the hot chicken is decent, the real star is the Tritip Sandwich—packed with flavor and a must-try. Don’t miss out on their beer-battered onion rings, which are crispy and delicious, making them the perfect side. Great spot for comfort food with a twist! I look forward to trying their breakfast items and possibly attending a D&D Session.
Great food, beer, and staff! Went in on a Friday night after leaving another local brewery restaurant that had poor service and Draconum did it right on all levels which made the night. They have a great outside beer garden and the main dining area was comforting on a cold night. Definitely worth checking out.
Love this spot but had to write a second review about their new brunch offerings. First off--they've been adding new stuff to the back yard biergarten area and it's cozier than ever--fantastic hangout spot. Love giant connect 4--super kid friendly for when we want a beat and a pint. The bread pudding french toast is a 10/10, maybe one of the tastiest breakfast items I've ever had--as are the biscuits and gravy. Highly recommend. Always felt well looked after--Caroline, the owner, makes a point of hitting each table to ensure the experience is a memorable one. Clean, tasty, and always a cool rotation of beer options. Great job guys!
The fish tacos are bomb - tasty and fresh with a nice zing from the salsa. Their onion rings are so crunchy and yummy, I was seriously impressed. But the best part? The buffalo wings - spicy, tangy, and crispy. I just wish I could eat more! They also have a huge selection of cool craft beers that pair really well with the food. Trust me, you've gotta check this place out if you're in Santa Clarita. Can't wait to go back!
Great food! The pretzel and beer cheese were delicious, as well as the BBQ burger. Side of chips are great as well. Props to Michelle for serving a packed house by herself! Didn’t notice service was impacted, she did a great job. Will definitely be back!
Always a great place to stop. BRUNCH! a great new offering to an already good place. So many great looking options and I chose Biscuits& Gravy. Fresh biscuits ( like grandma made) and even better gravy. The table next to me ordered the Pan Perdu and Hot Chicken Sandwich.....wow I want those next time I come in.
Went in by mistake, thinking it was a totally different restaurant but what a happy find. Good food and great beer. Staff is friendly and takes good care of you without being intrusive.
Awesome place first visit great food very different
The Mac & Beer Cheese was worth leaving a review alone. This is, without a doubt, the most perfect mac & cheese the world over. I am the person in charge of making mac and cheese in my family. I will be changing my recipe to try to mimic this one for the rest of my life. My only complaint is once I finished eating it, I wanted it to be possible to order an entire bucket of it next time. I asked to meet the chef and she was delightful as was the waiter. 10/10 will be back.
We love it there. Your fish and chip are so good a long with you wonderful onion rings. We have also experienced a lovely company part there. Wonderful food with a dessert that was so good. I ment to ask what it was called. I will when I come in again. Now I am getting hungry. Hope to see you soon. Thank you for such a yummy menu.
Stopped in for a friend's birthday. Found the place by watching KTLA. Thanks Chris Schauble! We had beer and wine flights, spinach dip - love! Not made with mayo and served warm with fresh hot chips, yum! Also had the chili dog and fish tacos. Delish. We were there at an odd time and it still was a fun experience - great personable staff, we will be back! Here are some photos.
Drinking They Made Me Do It Brown Ale - 6.6% ABV Eating pretzels and beer with cheese appetizer. Absolutely delicious, the pretzel is warm soft and delicious with the cheese sauce. Absolutely enjoyed the beer. My favorite is the shepherd's pie. Very tasty! On another note is very clean smells good has a place for you to put your purse or backpack.
I absolutely love this place ! The atmosphere is wonderful ! The staff here GO ABOVE AND BEYOND . Highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a delicious meal with a calm environment but with awesome music ! Oh and not including the games they have outside !
Every time we’ve been here we’ve had an outstanding time!!!! Brewery Draconum is amazingly versatile, fun for the family, a party or even on a date spot! The food is SO delectable with enticing flavors. We took our young family to the Easter brunch to meet with another family and it was a blast. The kids were able to play and run around the amazing back patio yard- with an Easter egg hunt and the brunch menu was delightful!! We are SO impressed! The loaded Bloody Mary was so delicious, it even had a breaded jalapeño 🫢 I’ve also gone here on a date night without kids and had a fun time trying different brews and drinks. If you’re in Newhall or Santa Clarita area you have to check this place out!!
Great casual vibes.. really wanted to spend some time in the outdoor garden area, but it was just too chilly! Perfect for the summer time. We stuck with a couple fried dishes and they were breaded amazing. I hate a heavy breading but the beer batter crust did the trick. I have ordered buffalo cauliflower at MANY places and this order was by far the best. No kidding. They’re doing it SO right. Thank you for having us !!
We had our company holiday party here just this week and it was amazing! We were able to reserve the whole restaurant and patio for our team and partners, everyone had such a great time, they raved about the atmosphere & food to the decor for the holidays. Caroline & Ben are Fantastic at making the whole experience seamless, We ordered food from the restaurant buffet style & were so gracious when it came to menu changes & also made it easy to bring in our own charcuterie boards & fruit platters which they also helped with Replenishments Whaat!? Which was so wonderful it gave us the space to host our guests. The staff was wonderful as well 👏 😊 Angie and the rest of the servers for the night made it so nice & they're so welcoming the place as a whole is very welcoming and we enjoyed it very much! Thank you for making it a night to remember. Food was very good, marinated chicken was delicious and not dry, pasta was creamy and the harvest salad & veggeis were top notch 👌 😋
We hosted our RBS Realty Holiday Party at Brewery Draconum and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly attentive, fun, and helpful from start to finish, making the entire event seamless and enjoyable. The space was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, and the beer was outstanding. We truly appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to bring some of our own items, as well as the extra help with cleanup and putting food away at the end of the night. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests had an amazing time. We highly recommend Brewery Draconum for any private event and look forward to working with them again in the future!
What a gem of a Brewery! Beer options were plentiful, patio was spacious, and food was delicious! We went on a Monday at opening (just after Noon), and even with the influx of patrons all at the same time, our waitress was kind, attentive, and patient. My buddy and I each sessioned a four-option flight of beers. We shared a soft pretzel with yummy cheese sauce, she had the southwestern chicken salad and I had the fish N chips (Atlantic cod with substituted tater tots). I’m still full!! Everything tasted fresh, and the ongoing out loud rock playlist was a vibe (70’s and 80’s tunes). So stoked to have discovered Draconum (Of Dragon) while in Santa Clarita for the first time! Will definitely be back.
Absolutely phenomenal food and drinks. Service was impeccable!! Staff were amazing!! Clarisa, Julia, and Sara, you guys are the best!! Down to earth and would love to hang out again. We had the tri tip sandwich, hot chicken sandwich, tator tots, sweet potato fries and fried pickle. Michelada was delicious and the drink kiss of the dragon was great!! Will definitely come again and try each entree.
Best wings & beer in town! Draconum is one of those hidden gems that keeps you coming back, not only for their delicious food and beer, but for the friendly service and atmosphere. I highly recommend their buffalo wings, pretzel with beer cheese, and the bread pudding!
This place is hands-down the best brewery in the valley. The chef is on another level—every dish feels crafted with intention and comes out bursting with flavor. The brews? Made in-house and easily award-winning in my book (and I’m pretty picky when it comes to beer). Somehow they manage to keep things creative while nailing consistency every single time. The bartenders and servers are the kind of people who remind you why hospitality is an art. They’re knowledgeable without being pretentious, friendly without being fake, and they somehow know exactly when you want to chat or when you just want to enjoy your pint in peace. That balance makes all the difference. What makes it even more special is the community here. Regulars and staff alike have become a second family to me. It’s the type of place where you walk in and immediately feel at home—whether it’s through friendly banter or the freedom to simply exist exactly as you are. I’m a creature of habit, and I’ll admit—I refuse to go anywhere else. If it ain’t broke, why fix it? And yet, even as a regular, I can switch it up on the food or beer menu and I’m always impressed. Never once disappointed. If you’re in the valley and you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on something truly special.
The Dragon Eggs are fantastic! Tons of meat, stuffed with cheese and deep-fried with a fantastic spicy Dragon Sauce. The burger was also awesome, although I wish the patty had been bigger. That's my only complaint. Instead of getting fries, I got it with a side salad, and the side salad was no joke. It had chickpeas and artichoke hearts in it and a wonderful vinaigrette drizzle. I figured I had to try dessert, so I got the bread pudding. It was out of this world. Sara K. at the bar was fantastic, and I tried a couple of their lighter beers: the Krolsh and the Mexican lager. I'll definitely be back to try their house lager and their porter and get more of the food. They have a new chef as of November, and she's phenomenal. Go check them out.
This place has great beer and an assortment of bar food (pretzel & cheese, fries, poppers) and the service was quick! Wings were soooo yummy!
This was a cute little brewery! We were in town and noticed our airbnb was right across from this Main st area. We went in on a Friday night around 7 pm or so. There was a wait inside, which is a little on the smaller side, so we opted for the outside area because they had warmers. They had cornhole and giant connect 4 out there, so that was cool. I did also see that they have 18+ comedy and board games to play. At first, it was just the 4 of us and another couple outside, but it filled up pretty quick. I was having some stomach issues, so I opted for Sprite, but everyone else got the hot chocolate because it was so cold, a beer, and a beer flight (4 beers in that). The guys said the beers were very good. For food, we got the potato leek soup, wings, shepherd pie, and the caprese sandwich. Hits all around! I couldn't do too much of my soup, again because of stomach issues, but the little bit I did have was very good! It was super cheesy and had big bits of cut-up bacon. Almost all the but my soup and my sisters shepherds pie was eaten up! Very tasty! They also had really great service! The hostess who sat us was great at assuring us they had heaters and stuff if we sat outside. Our waitress, Rachel, was also super nice! Really attentive and was quick with things. She also had an awesome attitude and personality. This was a nice place, and I def recommend it! Anxiety induced questions I had that may help you: 1. Do they take reservations - No, this is first come first serve. 2. Is the wait long - It can be, unless you are willing to flex and sit outside. Especially because the inside isn't that big. 3. Is there parking nearby - There is street parking when available. There's also a small garage next to the nearby movie theater.
Consistently great service and beer. The Horchata Stout and Porter are perfect. The Saison is great. Good has been incredible. Really nice beer garden. Super friendly staff. It’s a win all around.
A excellent brewery to go have drinks food and even take the family. All the appetizers are excellent and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the stuffed onion rings and dragon eggs. Still working my way through all the beers on tap but would highly recommend the tangerine cream, and something new beer. There's a great atmosphere that makes you just want to chill and watch TV, talk with friends, and or have a meet up to play some board games. They do have d&d that's hosted by a wonderful DM every first Tuesday and last Tuesday of the month. This is definitely my new hangout spot.
this restaurant is awesome all the way 🙌 food is delicious and fresh 😋 service is cordial and friendly the patio is my favorite 😍 ❤️ 💕
From the moment that I stepped into the place I felt welcomed and the service was great! I've been to breweries where the staff didn't have a clue about what they were serving, but that want the case here. I had every intention of having a meal but couldn't take my eye off the "dragon eggs" which, in my opinion, were breaded, deep fried meatloaf balls..... But I mean that in the most endearing way! They were fantastic and ended up being more than enough for this fat guy's dinner 😂.... Besides, I had to save room for a couple of beers being a brewery and all.... I had a flight to start off with (which was actually my 3rd flight of the day cooking from Florida... Sorry bad joke and I digress) - Juicy Drake IPA (you could taste the grape juice in it but it wasn't sweet or overpowering at all), cream ale with tangerines, Callie's Hazy DIPA, and ABVaf Belgian Strong.... If you like Belgian strong you will love this!!! All were great and I didn't go home alone either.....with Juicy Drake and ABVaf taking up some space in the fridge.... Worth the visit if in the area just based on the brews and service alone.

Went here for the first time for my birthday with the wife. We're not really picky people but I feel I need to write this review after a delightfully well proportioned meal. The server was quite knowledgeable offering and was able to recommend within the selections we made. We agreed whole heartedly with them. The items we selected were filled with wonderful recollections of family meals from my past. Will fervently recommend this place and return as we/re able.
Just tried this place out yesterday for our traditional Cousins birth brunch and let me tell you…everything was perfect. The food, drinks and service was amazing. Sara was on it. I’ve been looking for a delicious peach IPA and their Peachland Estates was delicious, even had to take some to go. The chicken sandwich was chefs kiss and the deserts…omg mouth watering! Definitely will be coming back.
My family and I have been coming to Draconum for a long time now, and it has always been a great experience! The staff are all very nice and super friendly! They also have a lot of super cool dragon art everywhere :3 (Also, I recommend getting the pretzel with beer cheese as an appetizer 10/10)

I absolutely love this place ! The atmosphere is wonderful ! The staff here GO ABOVE AND BEYOND . Highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a delicious meal with a calm environment but with awesome music ! Oh and not including the games they have outside !

Good selection of rotating brews. Food is pretty good as well. It’s primarily burgers, sandwiches and other bar type fair. I think they make their potato chips in house. Great outdoor patio space.
Came in on a Wednesday evening pretty quite, food was great. Enjoyed the salmon tacos and a kolsch beer. Food and drinks were really good!
Cozy family friendly brew house in old town Newhall CA. Brewed on premises tasty brews. Tried their IPA brut which is made from grapes. Excellent! Side of buffalo cauliflower. So very good, coating just right leaving veg with slight crunch. So good this is my repeat order.
This place is good. Decent bar food and pretty good beers. They used to have this draft called the RBG and it was genuinely amazing; however, they recently got rid of it which kinda sucks. Madi is an amazing server, and Gloria’s flan is incredible, probably the best I’ve ever had.
This is a lovely local brewery with a nice patio in the back. There beers are decent, can’t say I have a favorite but highly recommend trying one of their beer flights. I’ve ordered a beer I don’t like from there a few times so try a flight to sample all of them. Their food is delicious and with large portions. My favorite would have to be there buffalo cauliflower which I get atleast once a month. It has the perfect crunch and hot sauce topped with crumble blue cheese. The outdoor patio is nice with some games and the last time I visited they had live music. I’d say one of the better breweries on Main Street :)
Excellent place! I really enjoyed visiting this place, their location is superb there is free adjacent parking, they have a beer garden/back patio and most importantly they brew excellent beer! The food is also surprisingly tasteful for pub fare. I ordered the house burger with cheese and fries and I was delighted. It was cooked to order and the fries tasted fresh! I only gave them a four star because their service is a tad inconsistent, it was not bad, I just tend to think that in order to get 5 stars it should be an all around excellent experience. However, so far I would definitely recommend it!!
Since it's a brewery, the quality of the beer seems to be good and it was very comfortable to sit at the bar. I didn't eat food, I stopped by for a while and drank beer while looking around downtown Santa Clarita where it was raining heavily. I think it would be nice to have a patio that is good for sitting outdoors and enjoying food and drinks on a sunny day. I always drink Double IPA beer and taste was pretty good . also make my favorite beer into Can, so please refer to it. This place also makes your favorite beer flavor into cans, so ask for it if you need it.
Overall great experience. Waitresses were very polite and offer exceptional service. The fish and chips is on my list of recommendations. The grilled cheese for my kid was a bit overdone but they were nice enough to re do it upon request.

Beers were average.....Service was slow. ordered some fries and they took 45 min to come out. Overall atmosphere was cool, they just need to step up there game on beers and service!
Meh. We gave it a try because the other Main St resturants were packed on a Sunday evening. Walked in and were completely ignored. Despite being empty and with open tables we had to wait. It took awhile to get served. Food was meh. Burger was ok. Nothing special. Hubby had fish & chips. Again, ok. Service was slow and not attentive.
The patty melt and guacamole hamburger were ordered and requested to be cooked medium. When they arrived, both were overcooked and dried out and lacking salt.
Fish and chips were tasty, portions were on the light side. Got overcharged by $3. House beer was good. Other plate was the salad that was lacking flavor, no salt and too much oregano on the chicken. I really like live entertainment, but the band on this night was awful.
The good: Really high quality amazing beer. And friendly staff, although not super attentive. Also a great atmosphere. The bad: I asked for my burger to be medium, but it came out way overcooked almost burnt. The bacon on my BBQ burger was burnt. And the whole thing tasted dry. The fries were mediocre. Bottome line: Come here for some relaxing drinks and cool vibes but eat elsewhere.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, liked the outdoor seating. Unfortunately the salad and burger we ordered were very disappointing. Draconum entree salad was small and mostly lettuce. Burger with jalapenos was so hot you couldn't taste anything but the jalapenos.
This is our first time going to this restaurant. The server we got was really attentive to our needs. My order of fish n chips was disappointing because the batter was too thick that you lost the taste of the fish.

Update- After our last visit (Labor Day) we won’t be returning. We had an incredibly rude server. Everything we tried to order was out-three beers and a wine. Server offered zero suggestions. We googled other ideas at our table. When we’ve been previously the other two servers we’ve encountered (a man and a woman with reddish hair) have been so helpful, polite and amazing. We weren’t checked on at all through anything. Never given a knife never asked if we needed anything else. It’s a no for me. Recently discovered this place (we are late to things haha). Not only is the beer and wine fantastic but the food and service is too. Fantastic welcoming place. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet.
Overall not a terrible place, but they are addicted to sugar. I consider myself as having a sweet tooth but some of their menu items - mainly things containing bbq sauce - are inedibly sweet.
Food was really disappointing. The namesake "hearty" salad was a barely glorified house salad with traces of the listed ingredients in a 4" rectangle bowl. I thought they served me someone's side salad by accident. The chips were stale Lays quality. The sandwiches were barely passable. Would have ordered more drinks if the server had ever reappeared after our food came but they didn't. Cannot imagine returning despite the place seeming cute and friendly at first.
Went to try this place for dinner...Appetizers were good. Service was absolutely terrible, the worst!!! After our party of 3 ordered apps and drinks. We never got to order our actual meals because nobody bothered to come by again AT ALL!! We sat there for 1 hour before getting up to ask for the check since we obviously weren't going to have our meal orders taken. We were also charged for beer we never ordered and the only response from the owner when we left was...sorry for the wait! Hands down the worst restaurant experience I've ever had!!!
We were looking forward to eating here but NO dogs are allowed not even in their outside patio. Breweries are usually dog friendly, very disappointed.
No dogs allowed. First brewery that I know that doesn’t allow well behaved dogs, even outside. Really disappointed and won’t find me there if my best friend can’t join me. Wished they were pet lovers/friendly because the food looked good too.
We didn't even get to eat here. They are NOT pet friendly. You are a brewery for beers sake AND you advertise a beer garden. What is a brewery without woman's best friend? The worst is, this place came highly recommended by many of my local friends. Too bad we will never get to eat here or partake of you yummy beers because leaving the pup in the car is NEVER an option!
