Frozen Lemonade Niagara Falls Reviews
BeaverTails offers an incredibly delicious dessert that’s not overly sweet, making it an absolute treat to enjoy. I highly recommend trying the Mudpie—it’s a must-try and will leave you wanting more!
I went here with my boyfriend, this is his favorite snack. The food is amazing !! We will come back to this location.
Our first time in and the gentleman at the register was so helpful and patient with us. After we ordered, the shop got really busy, but the friendliness and service didn’t let up one bit. Our order came out quickly, with a smile, and tasted amazing. I can’t wait to tell everyone I know that they HAVE to make Beavertails a stop when they visit Canada!
🧁 No doubt this is one definitive stop when you visit the falls, you will need the sweetness of these desserts to walk and explore around filled with energy. 🍨 I enjoyed the food and I would come back for sure, I remembered my childhood when I bite my "beavertail", I forgot the chocolate but I bet it's freaking good too. 🍰 Be nice with the staff, they are the greatness there.
I had an amazing experience at BeaverTails on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls and felt it deserved a detailed five-star review. From the moment I arrived, the shop was clean, bright, and inviting, with a fun and lively atmosphere that fits perfectly with the Clifton Hill experience. The staff were outstanding. They were friendly, polite, and professional, taking the time to explain the menu and make recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. Even during a busy period with many visitors, the team remained calm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience feel special. The desserts themselves were absolutely delicious. My BeaverTails were fresh, warm, and perfectly cooked, with generous toppings and just the right balance of sweetness. Each bite was satisfying, and it was clear that the ingredients were high quality and prepared with care. The presentation was also fun and visually appealing, making it a treat for both the eyes and taste buds. What really stood out was the overall experience. Between the friendly staff, clean environment, and amazing desserts, it was a visit that left a lasting impression. The team made me feel valued as a customer, and everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. Overall, BeaverTails on Clifton Hill exceeded my expectations. Delicious desserts, excellent service, and a clean, fun environment make this a must-visit spot in Niagara Falls. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet treat while exploring the area.
Beavertails is absolutely amazing! The pastries are always fresh, warm, and perfectly crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. The toppings are generous and delicious, and there’s so much variety that there’s something for everyone. While some people might prefer ice cream because it’s cold, lighter, and refreshing—especially on hot days—Beavertails is the perfect choice when you want something warm, comforting, and more filling. The friendly staff and quick service make the experience even better. Every visit feels like a treat, and it’s easily one of my favorite dessert spots!
I visited this place because I was really craving something very sweet, and the hot chocolate sign immediately caught my eye. I truly love hot chocolate and understand its ingredients quite well, so I was curious to try it here. I ordered their signature hot chocolate and asked quite a few tricky and maybe awkward questions at the counter. I want to say a big thank you to the girl at the register for her friendliness, patience, and professionalism in answering all of them. I should mention that the hot chocolate is not made from melted real chocolate (like chocolate chips mixed with milk). It is prepared by a machine using a powdered base, topped with whipped cream and a small amount of pistachio cream. Would I come back? Yes. Even though the chocolate is not made from real chocolate, it wasn’t overly sweet. The combination of hot chocolate, cold cream, and pistachio topping was well balanced and enjoyable, so I see no reason not to return. Pros: Friendly and calm service, reasonable prices, and tasty hot chocolate. Cons: Not really a downside, but more of a note for future guests — the hot chocolate is powder-based rather than made from real chocolate. Still, it’s worth trying.
My wife and I last traveled to Canada almost 10 years ago and our fondest memory was getting a warm beaver tail. We thought it was just some tourist trap dessert but it was actually delicious. So it was our goal to introduce our twins to it and hoped that they would enjoy it as much as us. Success! The twins loved the classic cinnamon and sugar one. They finished one each and barely gave us a bite. Hopefully it becomes a core memory for them as well.
My friends and I visited here while staying in Niagara Falls! It gets quite busy at night time, so I'd recommend getting there morning to mid-afternoon if you don't want to wait in line. Incredible desserts and very unique. Definitely worth the experience if you get the chance!
If you’re after quick, affordable food in Niagara Falls, BeaverTails is the great option to try. The lineup is perfect for a fast bite, and the treats are reliably tasty and satisfying. Whether you’re exploring the falls or just need a quick snack, this spot hits the mark. If you like hotdogs, it’s a fun pairing to complement your day with something simple, tasty, and easy on the wallet. Overall, friendly service and a convenient spot for a budget-friendly bite.
My wife, our 6-year-old daughter, and I stopped at the BeaverTails location at Niagara Falls and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The stand is right near the Falls, so it’s the perfect spot to grab a treat while sightseeing. We ordered three BeaverTails, all made to order and served piping hot. The Bananarama (choco-hazelnut spread with bananas) was rich but perfectly balanced with the fresh fruit. The Classic with cinnamon and sugar was simple, warm, and comforting—our daughter’s favorite. My top pick was the mEHple, topped with maple spread and maple sugar flakes, which had a deep maple flavor that felt perfectly Canadian. Each pastry was crisp on the outside, soft inside, and generously topped. The portions were large enough to share, but honestly, they’re so good you’ll want your own. Service was friendly and fast even though the stand was busy. Tip: they’re made to order, so enjoy them right away while they’re fresh and warm—that’s when they taste their best. If you’re visiting Niagara Falls, BeaverTails is a must for families.
If you want a quick sweet, I would recommend to pass by this place. We love beavertails pastries! However, there are some savory options as well. The place is small and cozy, but there is no seating area, only a high counter. So I would say it is mostly a take out. Just a reminder for several allergies, their products may contains nut and more( please see the picture).
My family and I have ate at a lot of Beaver Tail franchises in Canada. We LOVE them!! lol. We just tried the one in Niagara, and it was actually very disappointing. My two kids got their usual of Nutella and banana. It was over fried and hard like a cookie. My husband got Beaver Balls, and my goodness they were gross!! They were hard as a rock, with melted chocolate and cookie crumbs on them. Don’t let the photo fool you. We pictured warm soft doughy balls. We both ate two pieces, and threw them out. It has a disappointing price tag of $15 for the box of balls, and $7 each beaver tail.
It never seems to matter if I am hungry or not, if there is a Beaver Tails location near by… I am there! The Clifton Hill location in Niagara Falls is no exception. I must say that I preferred the smaller footprint of the old location versus the new one right on the main strip. There was something more carnival-like with the previous one that is lost in this bigger more industrial feel store front. We went on a late Sunday afternoon in March, so the hill was not too busy. There was no one ahead or behind us as we entered Beaver Tails. In the nice weather months, this would not be the case!! You can inevitably expect a line up. We got served immediately as there were quite a few staff members behind the counter waiting to assist. The store was clean and the cooking area well organized and also clean looking. The menu has expanded over the years to include ice cream as well as other snack bar food items such as fries and hot dogs. Today, I chose the Hazel Amour. I had my Beaver Tail in my hand probably within 1-2 minutes of ordering it which was a little alarming and made me wonder just how fresh it might be. At first glance, my Beaver Tail was all that I expected. When you pick a tail with a sweet topping, you can definitely expect a gooey yummy mess. If it’s well made, you better have quite a few napkins ready to go. By the way, many locations will put your napkins in the pouch with your Beaver Tail (likely to soak up some of the grease) which unfortunately will often render them useless for cleaning your face up as you enjoy your messy treat. Make sure to ask for more napkins on the side, you’ll be thankful you did. I found this Beaver Tail to be thin and overcooked to the point that it was more like biting into chips. Because the dough was very thin it became a crispy doughy slab which fell apart and dropped to the ground - a very sad moment indeed!! Having said this, don’t get me wrong, the classic dough was still tasty but it certainly left you wanting more doughy texture. I ate the parts that were thicker which were delicious as they had not skimped on the hazelnut topping. This was accomplished by starting to eat about an inch into it as the edges were the crunchiest by far. It wasn’t until I got to the middle when I noticed there was a piece of dough missing. The hole was likely created when the thin dough needed to be stretched to reach the desired size. For the first time ever, I ate only half of my Beaver Tail and threw out the rest - my hubby was shocked! Perhaps this is a better treat to have in the summer when they’re continually being cooked to meet the high demand.
The BeaverTails at Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls was a really disappointing experience. The place was extremely packed, and there was no seating available to actually enjoy the food, which made it stressful just to stand and eat. The only positive was the service, staff were very friendly. I’m usually a big fan of BeaverTails and make it a point to get one whenever I see them, so I was really looking forward to this visit. Unfortunately, this one fell far short of expectations. The BeaverTail itself was way too crispy, flaking everywhere, very thin, and didn’t have the soft, chewy texture I love, and even had a flakey hole in it. Overall, this location did not live up to the BeaverTail standard I know and love. Between the extreme crowding, lack of seating, and the disappointing quality of the treat, I wouldn’t recommend this spot, especially during busy times.
