Red River Pizzeria Nocona Reviews
Always a great place for awesome pizza and pasta! Atmosphere is perfect!
Great atmosphere, service, and excellent pizza!
Great selection of salads, pizza, pasta, and hoagies! You will not leave hungry. Relaxing atmosphere with attentive staff and welcoming owners. Also serve local wines and beer. A great dining experience.
Very friendly staff. We out of their way for my wife's allergy. Food was great. Highly recommend
My wife and I road our motorcycle out to Nocona for a quick Friday night ride. This place was great, has a huge menu and friendly staff. The food was terrific. Definitely will go to it againm
Stopped in on my road trip for lunch and the staff was super friendly but not intrusive. I had perhaps the best Alfredo thin crust pizza I've ever had, and the noise level was nice and low. Wonderful experience overall.
The food was awesome. My pasta was one of the best I've ever had. I had the Moscato wine, and it was delicious. There is beer on tap. Parking is on the street. The restaurant sign is hard to see, but the restaurant is on the corner. The waitress was very nice and helpful in explaining the food and portions of food that would come on the plate.
I will keep it simple. Great pizza and a nice bar. The staff was very friendly, and I will definitely stop in there whenever I pass through. You can tell they put a lot of pride into their work and keeping the place clean.
My husband and I are from out of town and stopped in for a beer and an appetizer. Our bartender, Kyle, did an amazing job. She made sure we were taken care of and never let our drinks go empty. She was not only tending bar, but also tending to the families sitting at the tables. The food was great, the staff was excellent.
In town to visit Color Orchids facility and gotten lunch here. This is an Italian restaurant that's known for their incredible pizza. Service was great and food was amazing. I especially loved the iced tea along with combination meat lovers vegetable pizza. Meanwhile, I loved seeing the older buildings in this part of town as they had character and this location was one of them. They all show to have been taken care of.
We both really loved this place! Our first time to visit this past Saturday. We each ordered a small pizza, along with an appetizer and a small side order of pasta to share. It was for sure more than we could handle, and had to take some home with us. The staff were all very friendly and the service was great. Good selection of wines and beers, too. The food was great, and we look forward to a return visit!
What a great find while we were exploring the joys of Nocona, TX! Their very yummy Cheesy Garlic Pops and Cheese Ravioli Appetizers and the small Murph Pizza served three of us sufficiently. The place is clean, service was great, and, the food was served hot. We look forward to another opportunity to enjoy this special place.
Nice place you'd least likely to expect in a small town. I drive across Red River to Texas at least once a week.. There's not many decent places to eat in Nocona I usually eat at this cute little cafe inside Gibbs Pharmacy which is a excellent place for lunch. Today I wanted something different so walked the street & was happy I did because I wasn't disappointed. The pizza & salad was made with quality & fresh ingredients . Very clean & had a good vibe to it. Love the New Orleans style Ironwork at the entrance, that's what captured my attention . It's in 2 story building with a nostalgic hotel & defiantly has alot to offer. Good customer service & great prices. You won't leave hungry I had enough for a take home box. I recommend & will definitely return.
Located next to the Red River Station Inn where we stayed when our car broke down on a trip from Shreveport to Caprock Canyon, Red River Pizzeria made for a pleasant dinner spot before heading to bed for the evening. I had the Mr. Meatball hoagie (pictured) which was very good, along with a Nocona Amber Ale that was quite good (and I'm not really a fan of beer). I didn't really care for the cheese that was used on the pizza we also got (I love cheese, but there are a few like parmesan and similar I don't like) but this is simply a reflection of my own taste and not of the quality of the food here. My wife got the spaghetti and meatball (also pictured) and she loved it. We agree that the meatballs here are great.
Pizza, fries, poppers were great! The calzone was small and flat (not recommend it). Service was maybe 3.5, but in their defense, they got really busy all at once. Will go back!
Understand event in town and restaurant is very busy. Got seated, but not once did anyone come to attend out table. Saw other groups get seated and orders in after us. So we walked out. Just ordered to go online best. Pizza was good. Thin crust style. Wings bit overcooked. Dry. And wings should be butter tossed with the buffalo sauce. Veggie supreme had just a bunch of banana peppers, hardly any other vegetables.
Building was cool and updated! Inside nice too! Seems like a cool place to hang out. Food was good! We did have to wait on pizza awhile and our order did not come out all together. While some of us got to eat the others had to wait. Mgr. did give us a discount for this. The garlic cheesy pops are really good! Pizzas were fresh and made on thin crust . Just how i like it!
The service was great however, the food was not. The pizza was pricey for the size and it was thin crust only.
The restaurant is cute but the food is mid at best. Pizza cheese smells like feet and the pizza was cold.
