Poke North Hollywood Reviews
Had omakase dinner here. It was an amazing experience! Chef Brian told us many interesting stories and made for a delicious and entertaining night! The food was also delicious so varied! Will definitely come back!
Listen! I order take out a lot from here. It's pricey but like totally worth it. Not only the food is fantastic but the people there are so kind and accomodating. :) Thanks Oli and Buzz for giving me such a positive experience I got from you guys \o/
We always make an effort to stop by for the best poke in town when visiting LA! Super fresh, delicious and very generous portions. Cant recommend enough, you’ve gotta eat here!!!
I really liked that the portions are large, the fish is very fresh, a large selection of ingredients and souses.I am pleasantly surprised! Way to go guys. Thank you for the taste and quality
I was so sad I thought this placed closed because of covid, but they are back open and once again serving top notch poke. Seriously some of the best quality, choices, sauces and toppings available around. Also have unagi for extra which never happens at poke places. 1000% check this place out!
This food is amazing, the staff is incredible, I honestly am going to eat here once a week. Look at how good this food looks! Amazing!!!
Super friendly service! Akira was great, the bowls were really good & super filling. Definitely will be back to try the sushi burritos.
Amazing! The staff put together an awesome sauce concoction made just for me. Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty

Went for dinner and was delightfully surprised. We all had bowls and could customize with several fresh toppings. The gentleman who made them helped with sauces and had great suggestions. Everyone was happy. We would definitely recommend.
If you're in North Hollywood and want some quality fish, look no further. There's a reason you'll find a line out the door during eating hours - the food here is THAT good! Customer service is top notch, they'll help you customize your bowl however you want. My first visit was March of 2020, and I'm sure I'll be back when I'm in the area and craving poke!
By far me and my girlfriend’s favorite Poke place in NOHO. The fish is always great quality, the portion sizes (for us so far) have always been really fair and large. A lot of Poke places will season the seafood if the quality or freshness isn’t up to par, but that has never been the case here.
Went here for the first time today and it was incredible. Best poke I’ve had in LA. And the staff are amazing and hilarious. Shout out to Bryan and Justin. One of the great things about this place is the guy (Bryan) making your poke actually cares. And it tastes amazing. Definitely coming back.
This is a awesome place. My family loves poke and we have eaten at many different poke restaurants. When we found this place we only eat at one. The owners and staff are awesome. They are knowledgeable and friendly. We cant wait to try one of their special sushi dinners. I highly highly highly recommend this place!
Best poke bowl I have had. The ingredients were very fresh and the portions extremely generous for the price. Not to mention that the owner, Brian, is a very friendly guy! Highly recommend eating here.
Young energetic staffs. Tried it for the first time which wont be my last time. The food ingredients was super fresh and the portion of the food in compare with the price is very good. The burito fulfilled me. Loved it. Will definitely try it again since im a sushi lover. Thank you guys and keep up the good work
Genuinely makes it impossible to go to other poke places. I just got a random chain poke bowl and it’s so disappointing, Poke Motto sets such a high bar! I always ask for recommendations on sauces and I’ve never been led astray. Fresh fish, good sized portions, great service. Time of day does matter, I usually go pretty late and I might get lucky with ‘end of day’ portions, but a small has always been plenty to fill me up. Parking in the area stinks, but a little walk is worth it for the personal experience and the major savings of take-out over delivery.
This place is great. The food is great and fresh, the portions large, the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. I'm definitely coming back. I just hate they're not closer to where I live, but I love poke and have tried a lot of places. This is one of the best.

Been going for a year and it’s really good poké. But they’ve drastically reduced their portions. It’s not worth the $14 anymore.

Go to the one in tarzana instead i went today and the guy filling orders refused to let me do half and half base with a crispy rice even though its on the menu, ended up with poke with no rice :/

Honestly. This was a complete waste of time and money. If you’re like me and have a limited lunch break then I’d steer away. 1) parking sucks , 2) Amazon fresh has better bowls for its price point, 3) the combination of warm rice and “cold” proteins was a bit odd. Customer services was good. I live in OC so my expectations were set hit and this place was no where near the bar. I definitely would not recommend. Food rating was 2/10. PS. If you park by Starbucks beware of Isaiah from Dave’s Hot as he’ll block you in. Nothing like spending your lunch break waiting for someone to move their car and not even apologize. 👍.
