Im really sometimes saddenned with this franchised. Some of customers are being disrespectful. They're jugdemental. For how many ive live here in Sanjose. I will appreciate if they accept their mistakes. Im a feedbackers i always have respect my community. 39 years since . Most here in the the bay..my coins i donate each time go in. Why theyre not nice. Just because they only looking what they can see. People are focusing what you wear Just be kind and respectful to others. Only just remember without a patronage no job for them. Ordered a cookies. They were hot and fresh as always... but... Iced Coffee drink had very little ice. Wasn't as cold as I like it. Too many "sketchy" people outside in parking lot. Don't really feel safe waiting for my fresh cookies... Male worker was rude and pushy. Maybe it's his way (has helped me before)... he is always the same bossy and trying to rush me through the line which is always long...

Line wait was quick. Not an issue but found it odd that the attendant taking my order in the drive thru didnt read me back my total since it didn't appear on the screen either. He may have been distracted since it seemed like he was training somebody at the pay window. She was nice but repeated my order back to me rather quickly. Food was served quick.

Use to frequent this location 5 days a week. Closest to former home. Service was horrible and employees rude and non engaging. This was my first time back in a year and a half. Looks cleaner, and at least the cashier made eye contact. Much faster. I'm the only one that said thank you, have a nice day. Oh well. They were busy.

I placed a delivery on Friday night at 11:40pm and had to wait 40 minutes for my delivery. My food got picked up from McDonals Story and Capitol and I lived on 480 n 6th street, San Jose. There is a McDonald's on Santa Clara Street and 28 that my food could have being picked up at. 🙃🫢

Ratings based on similar fast food places. For a McDonalds this place is clean and pretty efficient staff. The food is McDonalds good.

It is not the employee's fault or the McDonald's fault, but I never feel safe when I visit this McDonald's. The service is a little slow, but it doesn't help that it is very difficult to navigate through the crammed parking fault when he drive thru is packed. I would never let my wife enter this McDonald's alone and for that matter I wouldn't want her waiting in the car alone either.

It was a very hot day and drive thru was super busy. We ordered 2 different drinks. When we got to the window to pick up, they told us they didn't have either drink. They could have said that before we paid. They gave substitutes and we were on our way. Customer service could have been better.

My order was made in a timely manner. Food average. What wasn't really appealing to me was that it didn't look very clean and all the homeless people sitting at the entrance door and hanging out all around the outside area and parking lot. Was solicited for change several times also.

Tbh ...the drive-thru attendant hates me on site. He/she stares me down and acts like it's a bother to do his/ her job. That kills it for me. The food is hot and the fries are really good but for me the way the window #1 person's attitude gets me in a bad way. Leave your hate for the world at home and treat the customers with respect.

Clean, quick place to grab a bite to eat. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely fine- no problems whatsoever. However, on the outside there are many people just sitting in their cars who will ask you for money, cigarettes, etc., & you can visibly see them doing drugs- smoking, snorting, and/or shooting. So, all in all, the inside is fine. But it's probably not the best place to go if you've got small children & don't want to be harassed.

The only issue is when you walk in with a coupon number from the survey and the cashier is not knowledgeable about how to handle it.

Fries are not hot but just a little warm. I like Mac coffee. Btw, what is Wakudonald’s ?

I went through drive-through, and the person they put on the headset, too, take orders is so hard to understand. I don't even know what her native language was, but they definitely should not have her on the mic!

Decent but really lost their customer service skills . Food is always cold and gross. It's a shame and a waste of money. So don't bother wasting your time either . Just my opinion of course. To each their own. ...

If you order online for the drive thru. They'll make you wait in the parking lot for a Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal. The person who brought out the food wAnted to handed to me through the passenger window. And I have no passenger in my car. Yep, that type of service.

Service is a bit slow here and there's homeless people at times. The seating area can be a bit dirty.

The lady working there registar didn't have a name tag but she was pretty rude and had no manners. Plus they messed up my order 2 times. I had to go back theu the drive thru and then inside just to deal with her. Craziness.

Their phone doesn’t work at all, so I had to drive there every time just to speak with someone. 6/28 11:30PM + 7/10 1:45AM + 7/10 11AM, I spoke with staff in person and they told me I could get the surveillance footage if I brought a police permit. 7/10 After going to the police department and getting the permit, the officer even told me McDonald's could simply call them using the number provided. But when I came back, they first said they were “too busy” and told me to come back tomorrow. When I explained I had the permit and they could now contact the police, they said the police had to come in person. What a complete waste of my time and energy. I understand they’re busy—but why didn’t they just say from the beginning that the police had to come in person? Then what was the point of me getting the permit? The service attitude was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was so angry and upset I couldn’t stop crying. What did I ever do to deserve this treatment? Later, I called 911 and waited a long time. When the officer finally arrived, they told me they had already called the manager and scheduled a time next week to retrieve the footage from McDonald’s. What did I ever do to deserve this treatment???????????????????

They don't fill the drink in full and the food was cold

This review should've been written months ago but I gave it the benefit of the doubt, reassessing my perception of the occurances and gathering appropriate dialog. There is a security guard who patrols this McDonald's site. Twice I had encounters with him that was odd making me uncomfortable. As soon as I drove into front entrance headed to back area of the lot to pick up drive thru mobile order I submitted. That security guard noticed my presence driving in then he proceeded to walk towards drive thru location..as I interacted with the drive thru casher accepting my receipt..security guard stood outside of passenger side of my vehicle. looking at me without a smile..the look of intimidation...or perversion...whatever it was...it wasn't friendly. Then 2 days ago, again I submitted mobile order..yet was instructed to drive and wait outside at one of the parking stall infront signage mobile order ..yet all the parking spot with those were filled. Knowing I wouldn't be located if the order was ready to deliver by a their team staff..so I parked turned off car to go inside restaurant to get my order. I observed why the those mobile designated parking spots were filled..that same security guard parked in the last 4th space eating inside a vehicle. Knowing that got me more curious of he's character

Probably one of the worst McDonalds I’ve been too. Wait times are way longer than usual. The front is run by teens who will forget something from your order, along with terrible customer service. They do not seem happy to see you when you walk in the door, let alone serve you or take your order. As soon as I walked in the door, they told me to “not talk to them” and to “instead use the Kiosks”, which mind you most if not all weren’t working or broken.

It's probably wrong for me to judge this place badly but honestly whether I have a good visit or a bad visit, things tend to be about 50/50. They once got my order wrong 5 times across 5 different people. They once charged me one too many drinks and didn't seem to understand I didn't want the extra one, I wanted my money back. And the times things go moderately well, my burger tends to be lopsided. One layer half out one side another half out the other. Like I said, good bad rate about 50/50. Still for an established place that's pretty bad.

Unfortunately, this place closes early at least three times a week to clean the restrooms. Which gets done at least every other hour during store hours. Unfortunately, the stores frequently a hangout for homeless and seriously challenged mental health persons roaming the streets. You cannot stop by without being asked to give money by these people. Its sad and only a few appreciate buying them food. Foods good and most of the workers are good. Two great workers in the six months when I lived nearby.

The fries are never as requested, well done. They don't fill the box up all the way. When I mention that the fries are not as ordered, I always get a an attitude like it's a pain in the neck to have the fries well done. No one ever says, " Sorry about that." Or "Thank you for coming today." Or anything like that.

I ordered on the app for pickup. I didn’t get a receipt so I can’t give feedback through the survey, so I’m posting this public review. Service was slow, and they weren’t even busy at the time. When I finally got my order, the fries were cold, and so was the burger. The bottom bun of the burger was… crunchy, which is something I’ve never experienced before from any McDonald’s. And the burger just tasted… weird. Not like it was spoiled or anything, it just didn’t taste right. The coke also didn’t taste right. It didn’t have enough flavor or carbonation. There were only a couple of lids left at the drink station, so I’d rather not think about how many people had touched the lid I ended up with. Overall, it was disappointing enough that I hope I remember this experience to I go somewhere else next time. If they’re going to charge almost $15 for a meal, then that meal should be freshly made, served hot, and it should taste right. As the prices continue to go up, my tolerance for poor food and service go down. The best thing here? Going somewhere else instead.

They will try to skimp you on your order … I ordered the free hash brown on my rewards McDonald’s app and then ordered a pancake breakfast with another hash brown included with the pancakes … and she tried to skimp me until I looked and verified I’m supposed to have two hash browns … another day I ordered 40 chicken nuggies and only got 30 … this has happened two orders in a row … Bottom line just take your time to make sure they stuffed the correct items in the bag before you debate if it’s worth it or not to drive all the way back …

I only got an ice coffee and it tasted water down and just did not take like a regular ice coffee, so I empty out the cup because I just want water and There's no water at the fountain drinks 👎 so i had to wait at the register for like 5 min just so someone could come and take my "order" I then receive my water an extra min later. WASTE OF TIME

They dont have terrible service for order pick (which is the only way I order) and the food is well McDonald's food. But I am annoyed that since the release of the pumpkin pies they have been currently unavailable. From the first day until today. And I've checked at all hours of the day and different days. If you're not going to carry it then just dont put it on the menu!

As much as I love this McDonald’s, it’s easy the most laziest place I’ve ever been to. My mocha frappe wasn’t even grind it all the way, so I just got crushed ice.

Usually avoid going there. They give drinks half way and Ice cream always same issue. Homeless about the are too. One time, I ordered breakfast around 10:00. I was on drivethru before 10:30 and when I got to the window right few minutes after 10:30 they told me that breakfast ended. They the app will reimburse me and that I didn't have to do anything. Sincerely, they always try to give less food, less drink less anything.

I have ordered an oreo mcflurry with fudge. I was served a cup of ice-cream with crashed oreo and a little fudge on the top. I'm quite sure it should have been mixed in, especially because there is a machine for that. It is either luck of training or laziness. Very upsetting for 6.50 usd.

Fries pocket was only 3 quarters full. Fries was chewy and soggy. They forgot about my coffee. Then didn't make with my customization. The whole restaurant stinks, particularly the area near the street. They play Christmas music in July. Then a panhandler walked in going from table to table.

My way to work everyday, I will end my visit because they change people who are in the cashier and back almost every other week .I go there for almost 2 years now and since the change few months ago their services changed from 3 to 1 star because of wrong orders, slow service and cleanliness. Although interactions and customer service is satisfactory.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I ordered a Hamburger happy meal plain with ketchup only, on the hamburger. When I read the screen it said “NO meat”. So I told the girl taking my drive through order that I wanted a hamburger with ketchup only. She says she knows, and that’s what she put. I told her on the screen it says “NO meat” and I want meat on there with ketchup only. She cut me off and insisted that she knew that. So, I went on and order more things, and when I got to the window to get our food, I double checked the hamburger happy meal. Smdh, they gave me a bun with only ketchup. I told them what I asked for again and the manager who was also standing at the window said, that’s not what I ordered...they corrected the burger and I took the rest of my order home. That’s not even the worst of it. I took the rest of my order home and gave out the meals to my kids. My 15yr old son got a Double Quarter pounder meal. He started eating it bragging about how good it looks. A few minutes later he’s gagging and spitting in the trash, then throws the rest of his burger away. He had a LONG strand of black hair in his burger. I’m the only other person who touched his burger before the McDonald’s worker, but I never opened it. The hair was longer then mine and black. My hair is brown. They are dirty and disgusting. I will never eat from that one again. Like I once used to hear, “look at the people who are preparing your food, it will reflect how your food is made.”

The cooking staff did not do a good job when it came to the pancakes I ordered. They were difficult to chew I don't want to use the word stale but I really don't know what other word to use. Then I walked into the bathroom to wash my 2yo son's sticky hands an employee didn't want to wait so she walked out of the bathroom without washing her hands. Unlike her coworker who waited for me to finish washing my son's hands so she could wash hers. I'm not going back. I understand that maybe they have a sink in the kitchen but it would be nice to see the employee wash her hands after being in the toilet for a few min.

First time actually posting a review! I go out of my way to get breakfast that wasn’t warm at all. Then I call in and it rings for ten minutes and someone picked up and said nothing, then after 20 seconds hang up. If this was not a franchise I’m assuming customers service would have been different. Managers, I know customer service is tuff but please give service as you would want it in return...... Used the new online app. Where you order your food,"and they have it ready when you arrive", well that's all good except when you order Ice cream sundaes, pay for ice cream sundaes, and arrive and the clerk says sorry or I've cream machine is broken. Says they can't give me a refund, because I didn't pay them anything to begin with. The manager says request a refund online! But doesn't know how himself.

Grew up in the neighborhood, so I have been visiting this place, sporadically throughout most of my life and it’s still as “rough” as always. Even with the new facelift, this place is still run by the worst kind of incompetence, not that they actually care. Quite the opposite, they wear their “worst McDonald’s in the neighborhood” with pride. If you’re moving to machines, great! If not, hire better employees that aren’t/don’t look stoned all the time and are actually responsive to um, questions and orders? I’ll keep calling until a manager picks up, because tonight just took the cake!!

What a bad customer service I spoke to the manager and explain to him I had to get off in order to speak to him he just told me there busy waited 35 minutes. Chincy on the fries 🍟 new chicken strips were good but the employees were rude. Nothing like it used to be.

For starters, we ordered at the touch screens. It asked for a specific number and I had to ask three different people. The one women in the vest looked at me in an annoyed way, and walked away with out a word. The second women just started as if she either didn't know English, or just got hired 4 minutes ago. Eventually a guy told us what to do. Once we decided to sit, every table is dirty. I went to find napkins but there wasn't any. Then once we started getting our food, they messed up one order. Forgot two of our items.

Got my order wrong. Missing the 2 filet of fish from the 2 meals ordered. The 2 Mc Flurries had nothing in them except vanilla ice cream. Was not going back after driving 8 hours and they when tried to call no answer....I tried calling 3 times! The girl at the drive up window was more interested in gossiping than getting my order right. Fries and nuggets were not even warm.

I dont take the time to write reviews only when the place is exceptionally bad or good. I'd minus star this Donald's for continuous bad service, wrong orders and waits. 5 drinks, 3 of them were missing whipped cream and 1 the wrong size. This was a NO Star visit. I ordered ahead, checked my bag when it was brought to me and a burger was missing. I told the girl who brought out the order and she told me I PROBABLY wasn't charged. Very poor service. Visha the cashier pays no attention to the food and she charged me one egg and one egg McGriddle. So I used the Kiosk machine to place a custom order. Very disorganized and crew is very slow. Gave me a hash brown on the house because of her screw ups.

I was picking up Uber Eats order through the drive through at 1 AM. I had been in the line for over 1 hour and when finally reaching the pickup window, the staffs inside were just cleaning everything. They did not see me for even a single time.

This store never does anything right. Always messes up orders and I even had a friend who worked here who said there was mold all over the frappe blenders and so much cockroaches. I don’t even know why I try with this location. Staff are rude and seem irritated when taking orders. Whether we order for sit down, in the drive through, or through DoorDash, they’re going to mess up your order. Tonight they sent my dasher with 3 drinks, completely wrong sizes, when we ordered $60 worth of food for a bunch of people.

I asked for a barbecue sauce and they said it will be extra charge. I showed them it cost zero in the mobile app and the lady said she needs to call her manager, Sarah to talk to me. When Sarah came she said she can’t give it when I order in store and I need to order online to get a free sauce. I said that I want to cancel my order and she agreed to give me one.

Drive thru is never open on time. I saw up to 5 cars leave waiting for drive thru to open. People have to get to work. So at least change website to a later hour. Your losing business and wasting people's time.

Came in today specifically for French fries, ordered drinks and nuggets too, to only realize when receiving my food that they never charged me for fries. I asked if i can add them, and was met with a rude tone from the “Manager” saying “you weren’t charged go back in Line if you want fries.” I understand that drive thru gets busy, people can be rude, but when it comes to management don’t be rude for the sake of being rude. I just wanted fries. If you couldn’t have done that, kindly, you can have been polite with no need to yell at me. If you hate your job, don't take it out in the customer.

The fries here are consistently terrible. Fries are supposed to be firm and crispy. I’d rather wait a little longer for my food and enjoy fries the way they’re supposed to be eaten instead of getting my food faster and eating nearly raw potatoes. Buyer beware: This location sells marginally-fried, floppy, salted potato slices; not fries.

this mcdonald’s is TRASH. the employees are SO rude and they lack respect. first of all, they were so impatient, and then they only let us do two orders. they kept messing up, and then got irritated with us when they messed up. lost two VERY loyal customers, such a shame.

I placed and paid for a breakfast online order at 10:21 AM. The app didn’t warn me that it wouldn’t be honored after 10:30 AM. I understand breakfast ends at 10:30, but the restaurant is open 24 hours, so this wasn’t a closing issue. I drove about 8 minutes and arrived at 10:31 AM for pickup. The drive-thru employee refused to give me the food because I was “one minute late,” even though the order was placed and paid before 10:30. That doesn’t make sense—either the food was already made (and wasted), or it wasn’t made and I was still denied a paid order. He also said it was refunded, but it wasn’t at the time, and he didn’t provide a receipt or any refund confirmation. I only saw a cancellation/refund code later (around 11:00 AM) after I canceled the order myself. Please explain why a paid online order placed before 10:30 was refused, and confirm the refund status. Also, as someone who works in food service, it’s genuinely frustrating to see time and energy wasted when it would have been much easier to simply hand me the order.

Legit the worst service. Drive through had a crap attitude. Fries are stale. Burgers smashed looks like someone sat on them. No ice in the drinks and the lemonade tastes off.

This McDonald’s is the closest to my house but I would rather drive to the McKee location . Service is slow , food sometimes is cold , they seem To have a problem getting orders right . The dining room is always dirty and Upolstery on seating is all worn out. Soda machine is always out of order . This place gets a grade of a D In my opinion .

Drinks were all flat and watered down. Food was dry. Customer support did not help either. Edit: To McDonald’s response, I actually the day I ordered put out a claim using the same email as my review account and simply received an apology but no refund or credit. I ended up throwing the food away that day from how it was and received nothing else.

Was just in there yesterday getting food and got my monopoly stickers. Today I went back for the exact same order, when I got my order, I didn't get over half of the stickers. I called and some lady that barely speaks English says no, they don't go on the stuff I bought, then I told her, I bought the same thing yesterday and got it. She then tells me that they are sold out. Always lying. I would never trust this McDonald's, I don't recommend anyone else doing to this McDonald's. If they are blatantly lying about a little free stickers, what else could they be lying about your food? Your bill? Your order? I would never trust them. Horrible customer service.

Terrible customer service. After giving away my food to somebody else, and a 20 minute full experience as the only one in the drive thru when I was having a blood sugar issue (which was a miracle), there was no apology for the delay. And after taking my receipt to make it right, they still forgot cheese on a burger that is literally named "with cheese." I said, "sorry for the delay." They said, "Oh, ya... Sorry." I said, No, that's what you were supposed to say. I didn't even realise I was given the wrong thing until I was home.
