I decided to stop by Popeyes while waiting for my car to be maintenance at nearby shop. I was hungry so I walked to Popeyes and immediately I was greeted by, Ashley. I couldn't decide on what to order, but she was very patient and helpful to help me decide what was best. I ordered the "big box" and the food was extremely fresh and hot. When I sat down I realized I had forgot to order my peppers and a apple pie. Terra assisted me and was extremely professional. I APPRECIATE their excellent customer service and professionalism. The morning crew is the BOMB. Thank you to the team I'm a SATISFIED customer 😊
They're just kind of slow and unprofessional. Other orders came and went as I stood politely.
Went for a 2 can dine deal I got on the app. On the app it says "customize" where you can customize what pieces of chicken you want on the app. but when you actually go to pay there is no option to customize. (On the app) On the app it also very clearly states "customize with cashier" so I specifically went inside for that purpose. Then both the cashier and someone else who maybe was a manager continued to insist the deal was "as is" and I couldn't customize. I even showed them on the app where it wouldn't let me customize on the app although the app says I should be able, and where it says "customize with cashier" Simple customer service would have been to just ask me what I wanted. It's not that hard to pick out individual chicken pieces. They literally do it all day. It's also only 5 pieces, it's not like a 20 piece order of customization. I didn't come up with the idea of customization on my own or as a Karen type special request. I got the idea from the app. I've had another bad customer experience here in the past so this time I'm leaving a review.
If I was able not to give a star, I would. I need my money back, popeyes. Just bought 4 mac&cheeses and 8 pieces of nuggets and the food was bad. The 4 large mac& cheeses were all dry and burned. I won't come back at this location any more.
I don’t know who is the owner of this Popeyes but your employees need training in customer service. I came here and ordered a ten piece meal. When I got home, I opened the box and saw that the chicken was dried out, very burnt, and cold. My husband took the chicken back and it was excuses and attitude why the chicken was like that. She said it was like that cause it was spicy. I have ordered spicy chicken from Popeyes for years and it has never been like that! You could tell the grease needed to be changed and the chicken had been sitting there for hours. All we wanted was fresh chicken that wasn’t burnt. The employee said if the next chicken doesn’t come out right you can’t get a refund. Nobody asked for a refund! And how are you gonna make someone accept something that they paid for if y’all don’t care how you’re preparing the food! My daughter took two legs out so my husband let them know that. We were suppose to get back 8 pieces of chicken. When he gets home we open the box it’s only 6 pieces and honestly the chicken was still nasty because either the grease is old or either the batter is old. So my husband calls back and they was very nonchalant and said well you can come back up here and get your 2 pieces of chicken. So then I called and asked to speak to a manager because at this point this is just ridiculous. Whoever answered kept saying I’m speaking I’m speaking but never said you’re speaking with the manager so I don’t know if it was the manager or not. Of course she told me the same thing they told my husband. I told her we will not be coming back up there for the third time to get 2 pieces of chicken but for our inconvenience in the first place why not just have made the whole 10 piece order over for all the trouble we went through! She said we only accommodated you for what you brought back. But in reality you didn’t cause you shorted us 2 pieces of chicken trying to be funny! I told her she had horrible customer service and I was writing a review. She said ok and hung up. Not to mention her and another employee was taking turns going back and forth holding a baby that looked about 2 months old. So this bring your baby to work day. I guess that’s why our chicken was old and burnt and they couldn’t get the count right with the chicken when we brought back cause they were too busy tending to a baby! I will never come back to this Popeyes!!!
Only kids at this location doing basically whatever they want they lock the door early and sit inside to just relax while people is doing a big lane of cars outside it 9.05 pm today Sunday and the door was already locked my order took like 30 min to be ready not coming back to this location buford hwy location is so much better and faster 5 min there and you're out with all your food
Well they served me non flavored sprite then acted like it was a problem to get me another drink then brings back another drink Fanta strawberry with like 4 pieces of ice. I was fed up I left. Just to forget that I didn’t check my food. Checked it a paid for boneless 12 piece and it was barely any sauce like the nuggets was golden and they was supposed to be signature hot and red. Yes I ate them anyways cause I paid 21$ but cmon Popeyes.
Every time I come they are never opened always waiting for a manager to get in and allow employees on the drawer if you can’t open in time change your business hours so that people looking for a fresh piece of chicken don’t waste their time coming and you’re closed before you open
🚨🚨I had a really bad experience at this Popeyes. The food quality was terrible!!! everything tasted unfresh, like it had been reheated multiple times. The chicken was dry and chewy, and the sides were cold and bland.🤮🤢🤢🤢 On top of that, the employees were unprofessional in both attitude and behavior. When I asked to speak to a manager, she claimed she is the manager but refused to give her name, which felt very unprofessional and concerning.🦶🏿🦶🏿🧟♀️🧟♀️ When I raised the issue, they refused to offer a proper refund or even replace the food with a better one. The inside of the restaurant was also dirty, which only made the experience worse. This is not what I expect from Popeyes, and I won’t be coming back.🤮🤢🤢🤢
Terrible and Racist manager, they gave me my order and I was missing a small fry so I went back in and told the manager and she said she did put it in there but it obviously wasn’t in there so I kept arguing that’s it not so she said in a rude way I will get another fry and when I got it she said “oh my god black people” very soft in quiet as I was leaving
Customer Service was really bad. Would not serve food and said was closed when clearly was not on several occasions. Have had 3 times of trying to go to this location at lunch or dinner and told was either closed or not serving cause the computer wont let them. Idk any establishment that closes and doesn't take orders at lunchtime. On top of this, when you do get your food it is either weird tasting or feels like it has been heat lamped for too much time. Save yourself the trip and do not bother going to this location. They do not want to do business and I feel soon will close just like the other restaurants with crappy customer service around this area.
Very RUDE employee she may even be the manager. They gave me Dry burnt chicken. I drove all the way home before I noticed. Came back 30min to an attitude.incident even raise my voice. I just asked for a refund. She stated nothing was wrong with my chicken. I just wanted a bigger piece. The BREAST was small and dry. Not what I paid for. Then she stated Here goes your little change back in a smartly attitude! Why would you even serve people food like this. She also stated the chicken had no skin that’s why it looked like that. Since when do yall serve chicken with no skin??? And when do you serve chicken that looks like that under the skin?? Horrible customer service. What a waste of $30, the fries were stale, the chicken was too oily, and the biscuits tasted like plastic. Only thing good was the soda I hope this place closes
I came to the drive thru on yesterday between 7-8 pm. The girl taking orders was very disrespectful and just rude with her approach. Tassi or Kassi was her name plate name. She seemed as if she was bothered by taking orders. The chicken was horrible. It was cooked and reheated in the oil. It smelled very bad full of grease and smelled burnt. I was sick to my stomach and can’t believe how they would serve that to people. I’m definitely calling corporate on this one.
Came around 9:42pm on my short lunch. Wanted to use app at speaker. Other locat6have allowed me to use my points at the intercom. However the short dark skin girl at the drive-thru kept saying huh huh and asked me what name am I? Gave her my name, she then repeated the incorrect name. I said ma'am I haven't ordered anything yet. She said their scanner doesn't work, and that I need to come to the window to place order, which sounded odd. Get to the window for her to say again our thing don't work. In the middle of me talking, she closed the window and walked off and preceeded to fix other orders. No one else even looked at the window I had to knock on it. The guy came to the window, I explained, he's looking confused saying what... I said no worries. Placed it on the app and drove back to the speaker. The girl knew I was at the speaker and never said anything. So I went ahead to the window, and said my name. She thru the chicken in the box handed me the drink and food with 1 hand and closed the window again. Opened my box and she gave me a boneless wing and thigh that was old. Bit into it, straight crust. I was so pissed off that I left, took pictures of the food, and came back to work still hungry. I wasted 900 points for this poor service and wrong order. I want my points! She needs to be fired, I'm an officer on break, and was looking for fresh and correct food. This is ridiculous, I only go to this location because it's 6 mins from my job. I'll never return to this location. A well trained manager with a better attitude and knowledge needs to be on night shift. I want a manager to call me asap about this. I'll be calling corporate in the morning.
Completely wrong order it’s like they just put a whole bunch of chicken in a bag. I would not recommend this restaurant ever in life and need to be shut down tomorrow. Ain’t no way you can’t read you can’t comprehend your order. Popeyes is the ABC job if you can’t comprehend and quit.
The short manager in the front is very disrespectful and rude. We ordered chicken from this establishment and mind you when we get back to the office , we were missing all of our sides. On top of that The chicken was stale , old , black and dry. We come back and complain and The manager kept saying that’s how the chicken suppose to look. No it does not! Because when she remade our chicken, it was how it’s supposed to be! Fresh and hot! And did not taste old! She wanted us to go all the way back to get the chicken (even though she is going to throw it out anyways) before we can get the fresh hot chicken. She had a whole attitude about it. Didn’t apologize. Kept making excuses . Then lied that the chicken was sitting for 30 minutes which is why it look like that. Chicken don’t turn black if it was sitting for 30 minutes!! It won’t even taste stale!!! It will just be cold. Then she called her manager and told her our complaint but didn’t mention her mistake to begin with! She left out all of our sides so we was gonna have to come back regardless!!! Find someone else to play with! I know how Popeyes taste and I know how stale and old chicken taste as well! Will not return. Very nasty establishment.
I went here for the last time on 12/3/2024. My job is around the corner. I will never come back here I hope that they close. I paid for a 12 pc chicken only $24.00and I received a 8 pc. I was in the drive thru and I was trying to order something from somewhere else I didn't look in the box before I pulled off. Grown men and women must don't know how to count. I returned before I made it home. I told the manager after I spoke with a cashier. I told the cashier my issue and then the manager said that she needs to see the box. I got it out of the car. She acting as if I'm lying smh. It ain't my fault if yall can't afford lunch and stealing from customers! I will never return! My original box with 3 pcs gone only 5 left damn some people don't know math. I thought about it. They probably trying to give the wrong order so that they can get the money difference from the cash register.
First, the food was okay. I would not recommend this location to Veterans. Next, I have received a discount on 2 separate occasions previously. However, today I was denied. I was told that they only have Senior citizens discount. The policy needs to be consistent as it relates to discounts. The employees smirk when telling no military discounts. Solution: The policy needs to be consistent. Communicate to employees how to give military discounts.
