Stopped in here for an early dinner after a baseball game in the city. We were sat quickly and server was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the calamari which was thicker than I normally see in restaurants, so felt a bit chewy. I probably wouldn’t reorder it. Spouse loved his wedge salad. Menu offered medium and higher priced options. We sat outdoors and enjoyed it, overall restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

We went to Perry's based on a recommendation of a friend who lives in Novato. We are an older couple and my wife has special needs as well as a love for FishNChips. They were excellent and the portion was generous. We will return.

Good food and good atmosphere. I ate several meals here while staying in the area. The menu is fairly simple. I never had a bad meal during the 6 or 7 times i ate there. They have a decent beer selection and experienced bartenders making some great cocktails.

Nice place for lunch with a patio or indoor seating. They back up to a hill and the majority of the time you can see happy little deer enjoy a rest and graze. The food is always good they have options of salads, sandwiches, or larger entrees. I usually go for the salmon with seasonal veggies. The staff here is always great and friendly. Great place for social or business lunches.

Ate here twice today and was impressed both times. We were immediately seated and welcomed. Food was quite good and came out quickly and was piping hot. Servers both times were attentive. Pretty quiet place. All in all a positive experience and highly recommend

Happy Hour Burgers are BACK. When was the last time you paid $9 for a real burger?

Had to stop at Perry's Novato for a salad to win a 50 dollar bet. It was none other than Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman that made the bet...they told me I couldn't go from the American Airlines Departure Terminal at SFO and get to Perry's Novato...order a salad and be seated in 45 minutes! Well, I'll take that bet, as a matter of fact...I told the little science nerd I'll do it in 40 minutes! Since Mr. Peabody was catching a flight to NY and wouldn't be back for 8 days, we agreed to him using his Wayback Machine, and that's exactly what he did! And it showed without a doubt the trip took exactly 38 minutes 40 seconds, and the weird thing is...Peabody gave me the 50 bucks just before he boarded his flight to NY...and said I didn't think you could do it. That salad sure was good, maybe the best in Marin! ☆☆☆☆☆

Charming spot definitely tailored to the locals but very welcoming of visitors. Generous portions, friendly staff with keen instincts on anticipating table's needs. Had leftovers and left full while spending an appropriate amount of money for the value we received. Keep it up Perry's. Every location we have been to has always been solid. Will be back!

This restaurant is on the same property as the Best Western Plus. It is very convenient and pretty good food. The menu isn't huge but they have ribs, burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips. The portions are generous! I had the ribs and they were fall-off-the bone perfect. Come before 6pm and you can get the happy hour deals. Also the margaritas are excellent! Update- went here for the second time. I had a delicious and large steak, cooked perfectly. Also they let me substitute a side salad as one of the sides and it was HUGE. My husband had a Chef salad which was also huge plus a Manhattan which was also good. I highly recommend this place. The service is quick and the food is fantastic!

It was a cute place. Full bar food was good. Inside reminded me a little of a sports bar. But the service was the best I've had had in a while. Good job team.

This restaurant is located right next the Best Western Plus Novato Oaks Inn. The parking lot is shared by both properties (free parking) and it is pretty packed during evening hours. We came (party of 4) for dinner around 8pm, and were seated promptly. It took a little while for the food to arrive, but when it did, it was piping hot and freshly prepared. The fries were good, but calamari were overcooked and dry. Sauteed sole meuniere was great. Perry’s burger was on the greasy side. The beet salad was super bland with very few pieces of beets. Overall it was an OK experience. Felt more like a diner. Location was a winning point for us, since we were staying at the neighboring Best Western.

We had a birthday party at the restaurant, so it was a big company of people ordering different food. Almost everything was done pretty decently, big size portions but on the pricey side. The service was good and the waiter was attentive.

I went in with the fam for a week day dinner and to see the new restaurant. it used to be Wildfox which was a nice & decent place to take the family for a good meal. It was even a decent date place too. When we went in it was pretty busy. Lots of people, lots of noise. I understand that as it is a new place and everyone and their mama is curious so no big deal there. The look is clean, simple with accents of bay area culture and their own history which is a cool touch. Anyone can walk in and feel comfortable. Not too stuffy, definitely not a dive. Hardwood floors and open spaces so the noise really accumulates. It's even so noisy that if you call in to make a reservation you cant even have a conversation with the host/hostess due to the noise level. The nice thing is that the food is good. Pretty generous portions (your definitely not leaving hungry) and the pricing is in-line with portions, quality, etc. My only gripe is the fried chicken was a little dry but not the end of the world. We got calamari as an app and it was delicious. All 4 of us really liked it. Breading was right and it wasn't soggy which is one of my pet peeves. One thing that struck me as odd (really odd actually) is that there was a large table of older folks not far from us and one of them had a medical emergency that required the Novato FD to show up and cart this person out. Emergencies happen and that's just the human condition. What I thought was odd in this case was that their party just remained for a while and talked amongst themselves after NPD carted their friend out. :-0 Hopefully that person is OK. Anyways, swing by, check it out, have a drink (bar looks decently stocked BTW) and enjoy with friends & family. If you happen to be in the company of Friends & Family just be sure they are the ones to meet you at the hospital after they finish their meals & drinks lol.

Seems like a pretty popular spot. Wasnt any open tables or spots at the bar. Had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. Bartender was quick and friendly. Once seated we had a few appetizers which were good. I'd recommend the ahi poke and the potato skins. For the main course I got the pot roast which was tender and juicy and delicious. Wasn't a big fan of the Brussel sprouts so maybe ask what the vegetable is before ordering since it doesn't specify on the menu. Overall I was happy and I would go again.

I had the grill chicken sandwich and it tasted great but it seemed to be missing something like a type of sauce. The waitress took a good minute to take our drink order and another long minute to take our order. I would go back but probably not for awhile and I would seldomly tell others to go eat there.

Great atmosphere, very warm and inviting. Good for casual dining, business dining or first date… Dress up or down. SAUTEED PETRALE SOLE MEUNIERE**** absolutely amazing! So delicate and flavorful, I strongly recommend this dish if you like fish. I would have given 5 stars but the Calamari was over cooked. Very rubbery and way too crispy.

Overall Impressions: Perry’s offers a pleasant spot for lunch, featuring a relaxed and old-school atmosphere that aligns with its historic brand. The service stands out for being both friendly and efficient, contributing positively to the overall dining experience. Food and Appetizers: Our group of three began with the onion strings appetizer, which was quite enjoyable. For the main course, one friend chose the beet salad, which turned out to be average. Another selected the cobb salad and found it satisfying. I opted for the Caesar salad with chicken; this dish was just “OK,” meeting expectations but not exceeding them. The house wine was good. Atmosphere and Ambiance: The restaurant’s ambiance is true to Perry’s traditional style, but there were some odd moments—such as delivery people rolling beer barrels through the dining area—that felt out of place and somewhat inconsistent with the brand’s image. Location and Recommendations: While Perry’s is somewhat off the beaten path, it has the potential to become a sought-after destination. With some improvements to the food and a few updates to the decor, this restaurant could offer an even more memorable lunch experience.

Service is decent. Food is a solid 'meh'. Steaks are consistent, but a bit overpriced for the quality. Acoustics are a little rough. It's okay, but much better in Marin at the price point.

It was a busy day here, but we thought that the food would be better than it was. The kitchen splashing and crashing around made a lot of the noise here. My lunch was sloppy.. Very disappointed today. Surprisingly, the host was very friendly and polite.
