Dragon Tea House Oakland Park Reviews
Wow! Good Chinese food in Fort Lauderdale, I didn’t know it existed until I tried Dragon Tea House. If you’re like me you’ve tried multiple Chinese restaurants in the area and realized they’re all pretty awful—mystery meat, bland flavor, and ratios of 80-20 breading to meat. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found DTH. I got the steamed pork dumplings as an appetizer and they tasted great. They’re also quite large which was great. The real gem of the order was the orange chicken. Big pieces of real white meat chicken wrapped in perfect layer of breading and delicious orange sauce. It was amazing and will be my new go-to. Another thing I loved was that someone from the restaurant actually delivered my ordered. We all know what it’s like these days with the DD or UE drivers who dont give a _____ what happens to your food and your stuck with a bag covered in leaking sauce. This delivery driver was great and delivered my food directly to me with a smile of appreciation, Try this place, you won’t be disappointed
This is a fast casual place where you order at electronic menu near front door or directly with friendly cashier. Generous servings of food served very hot (be careful you don’t burn your tongue or mouth), delicious and cooked very well. Broccoli and carrots cooked to perfection retaining beautiful color and crunch. We each got a pint of chicken and broccoli with carrots. Its served with rice that I declined but, partner got. My partner also got a pint of vegetable soup and I got a pint of hot and sour soup. I was able to finish chicken and broccoli but had to take half of hot and sour soup home because it was making me sweat so much. Our meals were also served with a wonton package each along with 2 duck sauce packets, 2 soy sauce which I would decline on next visit as it was not used. We each got a complete set of plastic utensils fork spoon knife with napkin, pepper and salt. And also a fortune cookie each but, neither of us had a fortune message. Very good place will return to someday. Thanks
Dragon Tea House is a serene restaurant located in the East Commercial Plaza that offers a variety of Szechuan & Cantonese dishes at reasonable prices. After greeting the female employee behind the counter, I placed an order for steamed dumplings, a pint of special lo mein, and a pint of wonton soup. I also asked for a small pack of fried wonton noodles ($.50 a pack) for some added crunch for the soup. Here's my take on the food once I got home.... * Six steamed, textured dumplings with lightly seasoned pork filling. Complemented with a palatable dipping sauce. * The wonton soup contained four delicious meat-filled wontons with scallions and pieces of roast pork in a tasteful broth. The wonton noodles added some crunchiness. * The special lo mein was absolutely flavorful and delicious. It was a mixture of soft noodles, tender pieces of chicken & roast pork, jumbo shrimp, snow peas, and bok choy. The food was enjoyable and tasted fresh without being oily or salty. I would definitely like to come back and try some of their other dishes soon.
Seems primarily a takeout spot but they have plenty of tables as well. Was fairly busy on a random Wednesday night, employees were friendly and the food was ready pretty quickly. Tried the vegetables with tofu, lo mein, and the schezuan chicken. Everything tasted fresh and the chicken was deliciously spicy!
A great family restaurant! Food was very good. Service was excellent! Staff were warm and gracious. The decor is not new, but it is well cared for. I found it very delightful. Soft piano music played in the background, very nice lanterns, and a relaxing old world atmosphere. Even through this place is a fair distance from where we live, I will be coming back again.
Consistently good fare prepared and served by a most accommodating staff. The chilled orange slices were a delightful and refreshing finish. Well done! Enjoyed another dinner here tonight and it was even better than the last visit.
It's so good! Looks small from the outside but very spacious inside. Dine in service available, online ordering and delivery service also offered. Lots of lunch specials at a good price with plenty of food.
My wife and I just moved into the area and are checking out new places , this could be restaurant number 8 and thanks to Google I found it . I can't express how wonderful , clean , the presentation ect . I'm a chef in Fort Lauderdale for the past 36 years and let's just say I've been around . This place is just amazing . Even the bag that the food came in was snapped perfectly . I could go on forever but please if you're looking for great food and your not sure please give this place a try and you won't be disappointed ! I can't wait to try the shrimp and lobster sauce 😋
I had almost given up hope on finding good Chinese takeout in the FTL area after moving here over a year ago and being repeatedly disappointed, but a coworker recommended I try Dragon Tea House. What a relief! This was every bit as good as the takeout I remember from the Northeast. Excellent General Tso’s chicken, pork dumplings, and lo mein. Will definitely order again.
Food is flavorful and so good! I’m so happy I decided to give them a try. The inside is very clean and set up nicely. 5 stars for sure.
Food was very good and in the style of your typical American Chinese food. Prices were very reasonable too. We'll definitely be coming back.
Always amazing fresh food. ! They really care about flavor...I think they make the best 👌of the rest....love the special Won ton soup and dumplings...you cannot go wrong-good prices.
In my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in the tricounty area since 1982. That's how long I have been going here. They have great customer service, the restaurant is very clean with a nice dining room area. The parking lot it tight. They also deliver now.
Very grateful I found this place. Shrimp in Lobster Sauce awesome. Pork dishes great. Friendly and professional, and good prices. Finally....... chinese food I enjoy and can tell my friends about.
REALLY quality Chinese food. Everything is ALWAYS hot, fresh, and tasty! Ultimate test? The eggroll is always piping hot and crispy when it comes out! The staff is also happy, smiling, and pleasant ... And the restaurant itself is CLEAN! What more could you ask for? It's my go-to Chinese restaurant!
Great food and new young Management did a great job with the decor. Everything. I had was delicious & reminded me of Good NY restaraunt in fort Lauderdale. I feel like calling them to compliment there food quality & my 5 star review. Watching NCAA tournament now....🌴
Great food, Angel Host & Pleasant atmoshere. Everything I order is always fresh & delicious. I have been coming here for 20 years now, I live in Davie& it's worth the trip.
My daughter and I have been visiting Dragon Tea House for many years. She is now a college graduate and we've been going there since she was in elelmentary school. The food is always delicious! The best part, though, is that the lady who owns and runs the place is always very happy to see us and is extra-nice to my daughter. I recommend this restaurant for its food and its service to everyone I know and also everyone whom I don't know. It's a great place!
I love this place! The delivery is always in a timely manner, the lady who answers the phone is sweet, the prices are good, and the portions and taste are great! This is the perfect neighborhood chinese place for nights you don't wanna cook but don't wanna go out.
I would go here a few times bc it was near my house, but I felt that the food wasn't fresh , tasty or hot. So I decided to try out after 3 yrs. Well, I'm so glad I did. The mgmt and cooks must be new. Bc the food was tasty, fresh, hot and the quantity is very generous! . I'm very particular about Chinese food bc I'm from NY and it's hard to find good quality Chinese food in Sf. Call ahead for takeout. Try it, thank me later 😉😉
Authentic Chinese cuisine. You can even see grandma in the back cutting the beans. it's a family restaurant the food is amazing I've never had better. they serve the combination meals in a full three course setting. the wait staff is usually one Chinese woman very sweet and on point . the decor is Chinese and ancient. I live in the neighborhom a I am A regular, & I love it.
I have been going there since they opened I love the staff. The food is always great perfect portions we try to go at least once a week. My wife is very picky and she loves it :) I wish I could give more stars for great service
I purchased today first time. It was great definitely buying here from now on their spicy wings can’t be compared to other similar venues. I only tried one item and can tell their more authentic dishes hold much more ;))
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. Herrowwww?! This is my GO TO spot for Chinese. They don't deliver, and I'll STILL get it every time because it's worth the little drive. The ladies that run it are always so pleasant and courteous. The portions are always generous. The meat is never questionable or chewy. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese, and there are VERY few spots I'll eat at here in South Florida. Dragon Tea House is at the top of the list.
The food and service were Top Notch. My entree was delicious and so was my dinner Partners entree. The service was sweet and kind. The place is hidden away in a strip mall and a little obscure, yet, the dacor is cute. This was my first time, yet, will certainly not be my last. I plan to go back many many more times. It's not far from home and I may even do take out every now and then. I recommend this place!
Food tastes great and the employees are very nice. Had the chicken lo mein dinner which came with pork fried rice and an egg roll and the portion was bigger than expected and very much welcomed as I was stoned and hadn’t eaten all day long.
Emily was OUTSTANDING! She explained to me the differences between dishes, and she guided me through my order. And the food was truly excellent. Much love to her 💓
Delicious food. Friendly service and great prices
Fresh, delicious and well ppriced. The staff aims to please. Best Chinese food in the area!
This is the best fast food Chinese food in all of South Florida! Do not listen to the negative reviews. As a customer for 3 years I've never been more satisfied with my regular Chinese food place anywhere I've lived. The flavor, the quantity, the consistency, the price of the food, the ease of ordering, and the quick delivery are all top-notch and leave nothing to be desired.
My favorite Chinese place! The food here is always amazing. I absolutely love their Mu Shu shrimp 😃
This is the only place in Florida I will get Chinese food from - reminds me of the food up North! They are always courteous and on time. We usually order for a large group and there's never an issue with the order!
I just moved to the neighborhood and I wanted to treat myself. Wonton soup is my favorite 🥰. They accepted my late order and waited for me. This is the most wonton generous soup I’ve had, ever. Looking forward to trying other items. Thanks for the perfect “first night at home meal”.
Old school prices with old school portions. Take my money!! Absolutely thrilled about this place. I had a craving for General Tso’s chicken, which I had not had in years. I decided to try this place for the first time, and I got exactly what I was looking for and more. The food was prepared in a great time the portion was huge and the price was lower than all those other place trying to charge $16 now for a dinner combo. F o h I highly recommend this place and I’ll be going here once a month now to satisfy that Chinese food craven we all have time to time. Great job!! Wish I would’ve taken a photo but it never had a chance lol
The honey garlic chicken and beef broccoli is delicious! My wife and I always orders dinner for us from here and we can’t complain. She also loves the shrimp fried rice. The service is the fastest and staff is very friendly 😁
I highly recommend their very affordable The food was so excellent and good Make sure you come here
I've lived in South Florida for 40 years. We've always had terrible Chinese food here. Dragon Tea House is the real deal for American Chinese food with actual flavor. No more bland noodles and rice, this food is made with care. The meats are tender, the vegetables are properly cooked, and the rice and egg rolls are perfect. On top of all that, the staff at Dragon Tea House is beyond friendly and welcoming. And the place is clean as heck. Stop trying sub par Chinese places, and stop in or pick up at Dragon Tea House. It's legit.
Their food is great, the restaurant spotless, and good service. Plus they have the best Chow Fun in town hands down!
Big change at the Dragon Tea House. Several months ago a new management took over. And what big changes. The inside has a brighter interior. Now, unto the food. If you are looking for good Cantonese cuisine, it is here. The egg roll is not only a full size it is also crispy and delicious. Excellent 🔥 and sour soup. I had the roast pork egg foo young. It came with 3 patties and a tasty thick gravy. Also, the prices are family affordable. Good service and friendly smiles.
Good food though needs some spice
Clean location and good food. Shrimp fried rice actually came with a lot of shrimp and not real greasy. A+
I stopped in for a takeout lunch after reading their reviews. I can confirm the food is good, the place is relatively clean and the service is friendly. The portions were lunch sized, but the price also reflected it. Pay attention to ordering through the kiosk as it automatically adds a tip to the order whereas I prefer to tip in cash. The girl at the front counter should create tik tok videos holding the food.
I took a drive to Ft. Lauderdale looking for restaurants to eat and I saw the Dragon Tea House logo. It immediately caught my attention. As soon as I entered, it had a fantastic ambience. The lighting was perfect. (Good place for date) Food was delicious. They also offer warm saki. The service was excellent. Perfect customer service. Highly recommended this place!
The ORIGINAL best Ft. Lauderdale Chinese restaurant!.Best in town been around forever...
This is one of the best local Chinese food places in the area. I highly recommend it very similar quality to the Chinese restaurants in the casinos, which is a very high standard. Everything here is good and I’m so happy to live nearby it I would highly recommend a family to come here and enjoy a wonderful dinner. That’s delicious and reasonably priced.
Food comes fast and hot. It’s absolutely amazing. Emily is so friendly and kind. I can’t wait to come back
Food is fresh, delicious and service is great. I order the General Taos Chicken and the Singapore Noodles.
The best Chinese in the area! Hot & Sour soup is a must. I typically do a dinner combination, like sesame or honey garlic chicken. They do delivery too!
Most authentic Chinese find I’ve ever tasted. The chicken was actually real instead of the breaded bs they serve. Tried several items, all were fantastic!
Delicious food and excellent service! The portions generous, and the menu had a great variety. Everything tasted authentic, and the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend!
Hands down the BEST chinese i have found in south florida...i am addicted to there beef and veggies and beef lo mein! They are close to my office so i order a couple of time a month. I wish they were closer to my house so i could order for dinner!!
We love this place! The food is always fast, the service is always nice and the food is always yummy. This is our go to Chinese restaurant. You have to try the orange chicken!
Limpio todo y la.comida fue fresca la pasta muy buena
La comida excelente, atención muy amable gracias por la deliciosa gastronomía .
Me gusto mucho y atienden super rápido
Fast and friendly service and very good food
I found this place on Google searching Chinese food near me. It is a small place but the food has big flavor, the young lady working the counter is very nice, I have returned many times since then.thecreason I chose $10-$20 per person is because I myself will order appetizers separately vs a meal for take out but that's me. "Nice place Give it a Try"
I ordered the Fan Tail Shrimp and BBQ Rib with fried rice dinner combo and the food was good but I did not care for the sauce on the bbq ribs. Decent portion and good price.
Christmas for the jews means we need Chinese food. I'm always looking for good Chinese food and most often haven't been able to find any in South Florida. I recently moved farther north, so I was on the hunt again. I found Dragon Tea House they also were under new management and renovated..I saw they were overloaded so I couldn't order on Uber Eats for pickup. I called and ordered. The prices are much lower if you call and order. The food was superb across the board. Amazing hot and sour soup! Good fried rice, and veggies too. Great Szechuan Chicken. I should ask for it spicier. Will be back for sure!
When I discovered DTH in July ‘23 I was so happy to find a NY style takeout bit over time the quality has declined to the point I now pay way more for better food at Lotus on corner Federal & Oakland Park Blvd
Food is good. The place is clean. Interiors is good too. My favorite is Pork Egg Foo Young. The portion is good but only give a small bowl of rice. I don't really mind since rice is not healthy if eating too much. The waitress is really nice and attentive. Overall it is my choice of Chinese restaurant in that neighborhood.
I enjoyed the service. The seating is comfortable and it's rather quiet inside. The plates and utensils seem extremely old. I don't know if there's any type of expiration or suggested replacement date for them but the plates were stained. The silverware has a lot of water spots which wasn't a big deal to me because chopsticks are a must in my opinion. The food isn't anything to scream about but is served rather quickly. I frequent this place because there is never a wait to sit down or to get your bill.
Muy buena sopa y buena atención
It’s a cheap Chinese mainly doing take outs. Some tables inside but food is given in take out boxes. The restroom was filthy, but it is what it is. It’s a cheap Chinese and the food was great. Would buy from here for takeaway. Staff were very friendly. Overall happy with our experience.
Mainly take out. Chicken fried rice...lots of chicken. But overall taste...ok. Little bland though. Beef and broccoli was ok. We're trying a few other Chinese restaurants as well and would order from this place again. Fantastic shrimp was ok. Roast pork fried rice was tasty...
They forgot an Egg Roll on a DoorDash order. food is ok and average quality, but it came on time
The food is okay if they manage to give you a complete order. I've gotten takeout here three times. The first time they forgot to give me a container of garlic sauce for the garlic chicken. The third time they omitted the container of gravy for my egg foo young. When I interrupted my dinner to go back and get the gravy, they were kind enough to apologize for the inconvenience...but they weren't contrite and failed to acknowledge that their omission caused my partner and my dinners to get cool, causing another round trip, and generally interrupting my dinner. I left a tip, but with their track record I doubt I'll do that again.
Coming from Philly this is your typical corner store Chinese spot. It’s good, portions are enough for leftovers and the price is very reasonable. I love steamed dumplings and they do a very good job at those with a interesting soy spicy sauce. I also like their egg rolls and bbq spare ribs.
The food is decent, but nothing to go out of your way about. The place is pretty clean and they have a small area to dine in. They're not a family outing type restaurant and will not get the traditional Chinese dine in experience. They're best for takeout only or if you don't want to sit in your car while you're eating on the go.
I come here all the time and normally everything is good just normal you know the special rice is always good but today I asked for this pieces of bbq robs but almost all of them were burn and almost nothing of meat and it cost almost 9 dollars so that’s why I put two stars please next time if you see that the pieces are burned don’t put them on a order I pay my hard worked money because I’m hungry and craving something and this is so annoying I don’t like to go and tell the person oh this is burn can you change it I feel bad but I’m sorry this is my way of letting you know thanks have a good day
I've been ordering at least 2x a week for 2. But now that they're busier their service is declining. First time got my order wrong, but someone did come and deliver it. On tuesday nov 17th, i only ordered chix wings, kung pao chix and wonton soup. They forgot my soup and charged me for it. They then said they would deliver it and gave them the address and no one showed up.!!! Guess they're too busy to care anymore in losing repeat customers. Glad to comply and will never order from them again
I ordered uber eats from there and I ordered I got was special Lo mein and it was all noddles there was no chicken in it plus two shrimp and I mean two shrimp plus it was cold and it broke all over the bag it was in very disappointed has it cost me 26.16 plust the tip very upset never ordered from there again .
Very disappointing. The roasted pork with assorted vegetables. All the vegetables where over cooked , nothing was crisp. The wonton were doughy and tough. The pork fried rice was good. Even the fortune cookies were not crunchy. The egg rolls were over fried and half empty.
Food was mediocre. Seemed to be cooked the day before. Greasy egg roll, too salty moo shoo chicken, chicken chow mein was like a soup, very soggy vegetables. Not a good choice. This was my second and last disappointment at this restaurant.
I’ve ordered from here a few times and the food quality and flavor is inconsistent. Tonight I ordered the egg rolls and Singapore noodles (which have always been good here). I’m pretty sure the egg rolls I got were the same frozen egg rolls you can buy at Publix. They tasted terrible - were overly salty and barely had anything inside them. The chicken in the Singapore noodles was rubbery and had kind of an old flavor. I wound up throwing the noodles out because I was worried about salmonella. Unfortunately, I’ll be crossing this spot off my list.
It's hit or miss. More miss than hit. I ordered my food online and not even 5 minutes go by and I get a text message saying my order is ready. Obviously it wasn't made to order. But the chicken was very dry and chewy. I won't be ordering again anytime soon. I rather drive to Coral Springs for crazy wok. Much better food.
Just to let u know. Food isnt great and they don't tell you bill default 15% tip, so be careful. If you are doing take out and your bill is 80.00 and you don't pay attention to the credit Card pay machine you will be paying 12.00 extra for tip automatically.. I was mad because the girl never mentioned anything and that's being dishonest..!! I will never order from this place. 15% additional for a take out is not a nice way of doing business. I hope everyone notice this detail B4 paying for something you haven't been served..!!
Order takeout because it's the closest place to where I am right now n they delivered without using Uber or grubhub food was not the best wings I've had from a Chinese place ordered lomain could have had more flavor, pan fried dumplings well done weren't to well done wonton soup was mushy like it was overcooked n didn't give enough duck sauce or soy sauce for 36 dollars n change on a Friday night needless to say I won't be ordering food from them anymore ! I get better food that delivers to me up in West Palm Beach were I live where they take pride in the food they serve and deliver money doesn't grow on trees if your gonna change that kinda money for the food you should put more pride n effort in it!
I ordered shrimp chow mein, and I literally received the order withOUT noodles whatsoever. All I got was a dish full of vegetables and noodles. The lady on the phone says there’s NO NOODLES for a chow MEIN dish??? The word ‘chow’ means stir-fried, and ‘mein’ means NOODLES. Help me make it make sense! Everywhere I’ve ever ordered chow mein has noodles, 100% of the time!
Nice people on the phone but when I arrived for my pickup I was surprised clean new place without any costumers inside. After I receive my order I understand why. Amount of food is super small for high price. I order chicken broccoli and really there was only 3 small pieces of meat. Super white color like for chicken meat and taste weird, I'm not even sure if that was a chicken meat taste just wierd. Will never come back there again
Opened the spare ribs box to find them like this. I'm sure you are thinking the same... Are they putting left overs with delivery food to save money? I know they don't cook them together cause never in my entire life of having many Chinese dinners, was there anything but sauce and meat when i ordered boneless spare ribs. I'll be stopping by tomorrow to bring it back and get a refund.. i just know i won't like the left over taste from some stranger's food.🙄😤
I would not recommend this place. WE all got stomach aches right after we consumed the food. We asked for hot oil on the side, it was terrible. It smelled like it was super old and stale. The food itself looked fine but like I mentioned, we all got sick shortly after.
ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Where do I start... This place has the absolute worst service I have ever encountered. I waisted 2.5 hours to ultimately not receive my order. Every time I called, the restaurant kept lying and saying that the order would arrive in 3 minutes and other times they would say 5 minutes. The food NEVER arrived. And they thought they could make it better by offering to throw in a free soda lol This restaurant is awful and doesn't deserve any business.
I called at 5:30 for a delivery. I was quoted 45 to 1 hour. I live 2.5 miles away from the restaurant. I had my food in an hour and a half. I also went downstairs to get my food from the driver cause he had no idea what he was doing. The food was just mediocre.
I ordered delivery from this restaurant 3 times now. This time, the food is bad, shrimp tasted like rotten, chunks of corn starch in the mixed vegetables. And the delivery lady decided to give herself 20% tip from my credit card 😂. I normally give at least 20% tip anyway but I'd like to give it on my own terms. Will not order from this restaurant again.
I'm very disappointed with our delivery. Not at all what I expected. The chicken and broccoli had no brown sauce just steamed with garlic. My veggie lo main had barely any veggies and not tossed in and had chicken in it. The crab lagoon is a triangle pocket. I never, ever leave reviews unless positive. But I will never order from here again. Spent over $50 and am really upset.
Horrible fried rice and boneless ribs literally threw my money away
We have ordered many times from them over the past 2 years. The food has always been good. Tonight we waited an extraordinary amount of time for delivery. Our order came and part of it was missing. The items that did arrive weren't of the same quality we are used to from them. We called and asked that they have the driver come back with the missing items. We then waited over a half hour and called again. An hour and a half total now and we live 5 minutes away. When we asked for a credit they said they were sending the driver back to pickup all the food rather than give us the correct items or a credit. Needless to say we will never order from them again.
To be quite honest, one of the if not the worst Chinese Takeaway meal I’ve ever had no taste just thrown in a box I could honestly do better myself. You won’t see me again.
First off the food was I got was meh at best. The boneless spare ribs were all fat and the meat tasted burnt with no flavor. The sweet and sour sauce was ok but the chicken was greasy and it tasted like it sat in the oil for too long or the oil wasn’t changed in a while. Really gave me a bad stomach ache. The fried rice was good, and it was literally the only thing I enjoyed from my meal. My wife liked her chicken chow mein but wasn’t thrilled about it.
I ordered the lunch combo. pork egg foo young. It comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll for just over $7. First of all this has to be the smallest serving of Chinese food I've ever seen. I was not impressed. The atmosphere was definetely NOT for dining in. The egg roll was fried so much that it was as hard as a baseball bat and burnt in spots. The egg foo young had good flavor however, while eating it I bit down on some little pebble like thing and ended up throwing it out. The fried rice had 2 little bits of egg in it and tasted like it was more than a day old and was hard. There are PLENTY of good Chinese restaurants in the area, I would not waste my time on this place. In the future I'll spend an extra dollar and get fresh edible food, good serving size and soup as well. I do not recommend this establishment.
I am not a food critic but have always enjoyed "good" well prepared Chinese food for many years and I definitely will not be going back to "Dragon Tea House" again after my 2nd trial experience with this restaurant! Last week I picked up my take out order only to find when I opened the bag when I got home there was a very strong burnt smell and taste to the food, "not very pleasant at all"! The Beef on the Beef sticks had a very unusual gray color to them like possibly bad cooked meet. The BBQ Spareribs were tiny and burnt and the fried chicken wings are totally dry like left overs from the day before. When I picked up my second take out order today the egg rolls appeared to have a very pasty look on the inside and did not taste like a good typical egg roll at all.. and once again a very foul burnt smell odor! The restaurant overfills the container tray with rice to try and make it appear the customers are getting alot of food for their money but actually are not!!! Stay awayyyy!!!! Spend the few extra dollars and get good Chinese food at a well established long term restaurant!!! You'll be happy you did!
Today I ordered a family pack plus extra dishes on the side, I requested hot or spicy sauces, they said they only had spicy oil. I said thats ok and I requested two but they would only give me one, I was told one per customer, If I wanted more I have to pay. I'm sorry but I don't know any restaurants that charges for condiments, this stuff should always be included especially when ordering alot of food. I have never had any issues in the passed with this establishment and always order at least 50 dollars or more when I do take out. Since my last experience I will definitely reconsider conducting any business here or recommending to friends or family. With inflation prices sky rocketing everywhere and people trying to nickel and dime you on top of that, I think this is outrageous and on top of that these places always try to obligate the customers to tip. It's not an obligation but a courtesy and I think it should work both ways. If I'm told I can't have something simple has a side of spicy sauce after order a large amount of food then I feel no obligation to be generous and give away more money. These businesses are really pushing customers away and well it's always for a good reason.
Last night, I thought I would treat myself to my favorite food, Chinese food, and I’ve never tried the Dragon tea House I ordered chicken egg, foo young. I’m sorry , but it was the most disgusting Chinese meal I’ve ever had. There was not one piece of vegetables in the meal. It was just horrible. I had to throw the whole thing away. Their crab Rangoon’s are made with some kind of weird pastry that doesn’t even taste like a crab Rangoon very disappointed wasted my all my money that day I’m afraid of getting sick if I eat anymore.
Don't own a so called Chinese takeout if you really don't care about the quality of the food just plain trash don't deserve 1 star ,don't waste your money go else where. You can gamble with the food but I won't ever again at this place.how dare them call this Chinese food. Should be ashamed of there spot.TRASH
We ordered delivery from here this evening. It was our first time eating their food. I will never again make this mistake! I had wonton soup and now know what an uncooked wonton tastes like. I only ate two bites of an egg role. It tasted sour! The cashew chicken was terrible. I threw out the meal it was so bad. Never again!
I used to order my house fried rice with no onion, scallions okay. The best fried rice in the world but I did have an issue with my rice one Friday evening during an Uber shift. Sadly, I have been going here for years and management declined to remake my food so I left it on the counter and walked out. I did however reach out to my bank and they declined my dispute. So long story short you are just a name or number in this world until you’re dead then you’re just a body. I won’t be visiting this place for some years, I’m sure of it and will probably find a new bank too.
Very disappointed, whether you believe me or not this is the first review I’ve ever left in my life. No flavor of the food. Food was overcooked. Shrimp was tough even the brown rice wasn’t right never had an experience spent practically $80 and we had to throw most of it away I would not eat there. Sorry don’t waste your money and maybe those people should get a different job.
I just spent 35$ the food was dry as hell barely any sauce most Chinese restaurants bgive you a free order of at least white rice and fortune cookies NOT this place ! that was my first time ordering, and it will definitely be my last. The food was horrible and dry sale.
