Becky's is great! Not only are the prices really solid (especially if you come in during lunch and order one of the lunch specials), but the food is tasty and generously portioned. While I didn't grow up in the Bay Area, Becky's reminds me of the type of Chinese food I ate growing up in the best possible way. The menu has a lot of variety that includes more traditional Chinese dishes (the stir-fried eggplant I thought was particularly good), but when I come in I mostly opt for the Chinese American options I grew up loving like General Tso's chicken. I have enjoyed every time I've visited Becky's and will surely continue to stop by.

We got the family dinner for 2, option A came with - wonton soup, spring rolls, sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice, assorted veggies and sesame ball. They let us substitute the pork out for general tsos chicken which was great! We loved the soup, it was hearty and flavorful. Everything was obviously fresh and hot, and the servings were generous especially the fried rice. We were initially skeptical about the sesame ball dessert but it was delicious and we enjoyed it. Will definitely return!

I had the most fantastic lunch. My food tasted super fresh.. The lunch special comes with soup, steamed rice 🍚, and your choice of entree all between $9 to $12.. The server was fast, dining room was super clean, and the restroom was amazingly clean!! I will definitely return for the lunch special!!

When we were looking for dinner on College, on a MONDAY night, past 8pm, we found this gem! Becky's has a great relaxing environment, super friendly lady staff and great Chinese food. We ordered the King Pao tofu and also broccoli 🥦 dish, both were excellent. Would highly recommend Becky's.

Such a delightful neighborhood restaurant. I had a pregnancy craving for classic Chinese-American comfort food, so I came to Becky’s and way over-ordered. Every single dish hit the spot. The food was fresh, the service was friendly, and portions were quite generous. So excited to eat my leftovers later!

Had Becky's catered to our nursing unit. Needless to say it did not disappoint. It felt like our order was made just for us with no one else in mind. Generous portions of chicken, beef, pork and shrimp all cooked to perfection. Everything was tasty, freshly made and flavorful. The walnut shrimp was a problem. No one got seconds because it was gone first.

High quality in ingredients and the dishes lack grease or oily like feel to the food. Closest to NY style Chinese, and I tend to believe that's the best quality in America. I shouldn't be sharing this because this spot is like "If ya know, ya know." Definitely a gem for the neighborhood.

We pre ordered roast duck and crab. The. Ordered kung pao, walnut prawns, and all sorts of things. Once we arrived for our reservation. Service was quick, the food was authentic. There was a family with little one which we witnessed a few meltdowns and as a mom I understand them but not the way the parents patience was at 0.

Ordered their BBQ pork fried rice and I have zero complaints. The rice texture, the flavor, and the amount of meat are all perfect. Good portion size too.

Had a great dim sum lunch at Becky's. Portions were on the smaller side and not a complete selection, but it was good. The waiter was nice and pleasant and the place was clean.

I'm giving this establishment a 2 star because there was hair in my rice ew! We ordered Kung pao chicken and fried rice the chicken was dry lacked flavor . The rice was good but the hair in it killed my experience 😫 definitely alot better places wirh more flavor

It saddens me to write this review, Becky's used to be the best and now I have to throw my dinner away because it is just awful. The house special chow mein and the Spicy Hunan Chicken were awful, lacking flavor. Everything taste like it was fried an very old oil. They have lost a loyal customer today. : RIP Becky's

Service was horrible. Showed up Friday night at 8:45 and they close at 9:30 (door says 10:30). We asked if it was okay and they said yes. We were rushed through every aspect of dinner. Horrible and unpleasant. I’ve had food poisoning at restaurants and been less upset. I spent my entire career in kitchens FOH and BOH. This isn’t the way you treat your clientele. I won’t be back. I know it doesn’t matter but it should.

Untrustworthy and greedy service, mid food. Ordered for pickup through DoorDash on NYE, assumed there would be a bit of a wait, DoorDash was estimating 1 hr which was fine. 45 mins after placing the order it still hadn’t been confirmed so I called to check and was told they were backed up but it would be ready in 45. I figured it’s NYE so 90 mins is probably expected. I still didn’t understand why they didn’t update the ready time in the app though. Arrived at the restaurant 45 mins later (so 90 mins after placing the order) to find myself standing in the entrance with 10 rightfully grumpy delivery drivers and other pickup customers who were waiting for orders to be fulfilled. Orders were being sent out at a snail’s pace and we were all frustrated. One woman was trying to cancel her order because it had been 2 hours already and it was going to be another 25 mins at least, and the restaurant wouldn’t let her. I asked if they were still accepting orders because they’re wasting so many people’s valuable time, and they said they weren’t but clearly they should have stopped accepting orders WAY before they did, which is pure greed. The staff member’s excuses were ‘we’re one of the only places open this evening’, ‘we’re working hard too, so we’re not wasting anyone’s time’. At this point a driver corrected this staff member, explaining that they’re also working right now and could have delivered other orders instead of waiting. All of this because the restaurant didn’t update their DoorDash portal with updated order times, so drivers were dispatched way earlier than necessary. Clearly they were avoiding getting dinged by DoorDash for being over capacity. Eventually our food came out 40 mins after arriving at the restaurant for pickup (so just over 2 hours after ordering). This is despite being told over the phone it would be 45 mins (actually it was 85). This shows the kitchen knew it would be longer but didn’t want to admit it. So shady. To add insult to injury, the food wasn’t great. The chow mein was flavorless, the szechuan beef tasted burnt and was way too salty, the steamed rice was way too overcooked and was mushy. I’ve ordered from Becky’s a few times and sometimes the food is great, but this experience resulted in the loss of our custom.
