Broadway Terrace Cafe Oakland Reviews
Enjoyed a delicious melon and prosciutto salad. This is a cute spot to grab lunch with a friend. I can’t wait to go back to try more items on the menu.
I haven't had a salad this good in a very long time. I hope if it's a seasonal salad, they replace it with something just as good, because, Yum. The coffee isn't the best in Oakland, but it's serviceable. It seems to be pretty packed often, so don't be surprised to wait for a table to open up. As such, DO NOT expect to be able to park yourself and work on a computer inside here. There are large signs posted everywhere saying "No computers!!" Which I somewhat understand, but I don't see the harm if it's not busy. It seems like people should be able to use responsible freedom on that, but....I digress...
Now that we can bring our dogs again it is convenient to sit on the patio and have a coffee or breakfast. There was one. Where they were not even letting dogs on the patio for no good reason. They reverted the rule. The breakfast burritos are surprisingly well stuffed with eggs and cheese and the hot sauce is a good amount of spice. Not too hot not too mild. They do not have straws. Take your own. If you need it. Patio is slanted, but it is covered with a tent. There are wooden benches to sit on. They bring you out your food if you are eating there.
Loved the vibe, and it felt like we were in England for our lunch. The food was delicious and tasted like homemade.
What a gem nessled in the hills of Piedmont. Husband and wife pair own the chic coffee and gift store, which also has some nice bistro options - specifically liege waffles. The sound track is a pleasant French style coffee shop. I am not sure I can say enough good things about this location. It is a stellar experience.

Quaint cafe with coffee and alcohol. Delicious food too
Really good food. Would recommend!!!
This place is my neighborhood go-to. The level of culinary excellence is super high. Do not underestimate the quality here, as it’s unlike any other cafe. From coffee drinks to daily specials, everything is very well thought out in terms of ingredients and flavor.
Great breakfasts. Cozy, friendly, personalized atmosphere. I got a gift certificate there for friends in the area and they were delighted. It was hard to reach the coffee shop at first by phone to purchase the gift certificate, because the answering tape did not take messages, but once I reached them by email, they were very attentive and helpful.
A quaint and cozy eatery that I visited twice in recent months and both times I left with a happy stomach and spirits. The lunch menu had a number of great offerings but I choose my favorite selection, an avocado BLT, and was pleased by the generous portions of all four ingredients. The thick bread appeared to have been slathered with a tasty garlicky spread which set it off! My companions reported that they were equally pleased with their selections. There is free Wi-Fi and a cute little gift shop to check out if that is your thing. Overall this is a pleasant spot to relax and gab with your friends between bites of the yummy food.
A lovely location for breakfast or brunch. Good food and good service. They have gluten free food options and dairy free drink options.
Great food, great staff and plenty of space to sit outside or inside. Loved it!
Came here for the first time, and oh how cute is this spot. It’s affordable, my bagel was good, and I got takeout and it was quick. Everyone here seemed friendly and could tell a lot of locals come here by the way everyone was greeting each other. I love the variety of seating inside and out and even some gift shop like things to peruse.
Such a cute lil cafe! Got a latte here. Great place to sit and chat
Good coffee, great food and amazing bread. So cool that they've expanded their indoor seating too, what an adorable place to have breakfast or lunch! The people that work here are always friendly and generous. Recommended wholeheartedly.
Such a cozy atmosphere, great customer service and the food and coffee are delicious!

Cute place to stop for some coffee. On a nice day, sitting at their outdoor tables was a real pleasure.

Coffee is good, sandwiches and good, staff is friendly. Outdoor area could use a little sprucing and signs could be a bit friendlier
Used to absolutely adore this cafe for a light lunch while catching up on emails, the pear salad used to be amazing. I recently returned after a few years and was disappointed to find the cute gift shop element has been removed and replaced with strange decor. I ordered the pear salad and when it arrived we were reminded (at 2:35) that they’d be closing at 3; understandable but a bit unnecessary. The salad has really gone downhill - mixture of romaine and arugula with both Caesar dressing and balsamic? The bread used to be grilled and delicious and was instead under-toasted with half spread, half melted garlic butter. Precisely at 3 they reminded every table that they were closing. They’ve also added somewhat intense signs saying no computers allowed, but they are allowed in a tent in the parking lot, as if using a laptop at a cafe is a punishment - weird. Just not quite what it used to be, but the Italian wedding soup was good.

This place have a very bad vibe. Whenever you look you will find sign with restrictions. What make you feel a lot of pressure. 👎
