OAK Clubhouse Oakland Reviews
Great place to wait for a flight and get something to eat. Sat at the bar and the waitress was attentive even though we just drank lots of water. Previous mentions/complaints of the slow service? When you have an hour in a half wait for your flight, what's the rush? 4 tv screens to keep you distracted if people watching is not your thing. The food was good, and pricing consistent for the area. See photos. Would go back again.
I got a chili dog and honestly it was bomb. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating given our kids are super picky. I will eat here again the next time I fly out of Oakland.

It's a typical airport restaurant bar. Piped in Music. I had a bratwurst with coleslaw and it was good. Long brat, split and grilled. Sadly they put ketchup on it along with the brown mustard. Do that to someone else they may send it back. Ketchup doesn't go with sauerkraut! Bun was nice soft and very slightly heated. Coleslaw as great for my taste. See pics. Bartender was good but it was slow. I'm sure she would handle a full bar! It's all in what you order. Sit at the bar you don't need to use the app.
Great place to get a coffee on way to morning flight. Unfortunately you order by computer, not a human. That sucks.
The food was excellent, the ordering system would have been great if it had worked properly!

For $22 they sure try to provide some sort of value with their fish and chips with one of the biggest fish I've had in a while, it's just a shame. A lot of it was more breading than it was fish, which I didn't mind. The fish itself and what's left of it was pretty tasty and the fries was actually seasoned all right! I like the watermelon Margarita, they also had as well. It's just a shame with these prices at the airport... Hopefully now that the Oakland guest pass program is starting to ramp up a little bit, it can incentivize more of these vendors to lower down these prices to street level. The bartender and the servers were very friendly and easy to take orders from at least!
You just have to sit yourself and order through the app. You still get a server that checks on you and brings the food. Sandra was my server and she helped me decide what to get and brought water even tho I didn't order any drink. The food came out fairly quick and was good, nothing out of this world but this is airport food. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The price is very high but there are not that many options and this is an airport....
Quite disappointed with the meal here. Chicken sandwich was tenders placed on a bun with cole slaw. Salad was pretty sad for almost $20. They make you order from an app run by a third party. App wouldn't work and server seemed upset to have to help us order. Add to that an 11% tax and a $2.80 surcharge from the Port of Oakland and you end up with a total ripoff. Even for an airport restaurant, this place needs much improvement.
I had a feeling that my food was going to suck and I wish I just went to one of the cafes, but my impulsive self just sat here and ordered chili cheese fries and their $10 chicken tender meal. They have a full bar, regular table seating and serve breakfast til 10am. They have an app you can order from, but it was actually confusing so a server came by instead. The servers are nice, but they don’t help each other. My server was slammed when the rush came, I clearly saw him running around so I asked another server who I saw wasn’t too busy for a refill on Starry, she passed me a couple times after I had asked, but never with a refill. My server said they didn’t have to go cups that are big enough so I took a couple sips of my refill when he brought it and left so others could sit with their families. I was right, the food kinda sucks. I gave 2 stars because it wasnt terrrrrible, but definitely not worth the money. My chili cheese fries were really soggy and sitting in chili cheese soup basically. I added salt to it because there was almost no flavor. I wish I took pics of the food, but it would probably make y’all throw up on your screen because it didn’t look appetizing at all. Chicken tenders are just frozen ones which are totally fine and as good as expected. It’s also a $10 deal so you get fries and a drink too. The ranch is good and I love a good ranch. They have other options for food, like burgers and salads. Probably won’t return if I ever have another layover here.

The value meal has a decent price and quality, unfortunately the customer service was deplorable, the person attending the till did not care about good service, she left my food to bag it myself, a was no apologies when I finish to do her job. Won't recommend to anyone!

Simply one of the worst. Joke of the century. I paid nearly $50 for a glass of Wine and nachos that were stale. The quality of the food is astonishingly bad for the price, even for an airport. Eloisa was nice enough, but the food…0/10 would not recommend
I had a terrible experience at Clubhouse in Oakland Airport’s Terminal 1. The service was awful. We waited around 20 minutes just to place our order, and after that, no one checked on us at all. I noticed another customer had to leave his table three times just to get someone to take his payment. Meanwhile, four servers were standing around, glued to their phones and chatting with each other, ignoring all the customers. The lack of attention and professionalism was really frustrating. If you’re looking for good service and a pleasant dining experience, I’d suggest skipping this place.
This is by far the worst food I’ve ever had in an aiport! The fries were frozen and not completely cooked. The burger was also frozen, worse than a fast food burger, and for 20+ dollars! Don’t waste your time and money eating here!
How much time do you have.... I sat down at a table #11 and scanned the QR code that led me to a menu of overpriced items, but it's Cali and I'm in a airport so I don't make a big deal about it. The website continues to have a pop up message reminder of the need to close your tab prior to leaving and if your tab is open after 40 minutes of inactivity you will be charged an extra fee. I ordered a burger and loaded tater tots that ended up costing me $43.00. That's a lot in my opinion but as long as it tastes good I wouldn't mind it is what I told myself. 20 mins later a couple shows up 2 tables down at #13 and orders food and somehow received their food(which looks very similar to my order) about 10 more mins later. As I am still waiting on my food, they finish their food and leave when I haven't even received any service. Almost 40 mins after placing an order my food arrives, but the order was wrong. I didn't make it a big deal and ate it anyway. BELIEVE THE REAL REVIEWS OF THE FOOD QUALITY! It is not worth the money they are asking. School cafeteria is better. As I tried to close my tab by rescanning the QR code, I was led to a page that said everything was good to go and no more orders were left open on my tab. Once I finished my food I get a notification from my bank that I was charged a additional $7 after my tab was closed. I ended up asking the front desk about the issue and they were unsure about what happened and eventually came to the conclusion that I must have scanned another tables QR code instead of the one the waiter said I was at. The extra $7 was a automatic tip that I never confirmed to pay. One of the supervisors/manager told me to then scan a qr code at the table of the couple that ate and convinced me that was my order when I did not ever sit there. Because all three charges were still pending, they encouraged me that the mistake charges would fall off and not actually go through. They lied In closing, I was charged for 2 tables, even though I only sat at 1. One of the charges included a forced tip and the food was not worth the experience. IF YOU ARE STARVING IN TRANSIT TO YOUR NEXT FLIGHT, JUST WAIT FOR THE FREE WATER AND PRETZELS ON THE FLIGHT.

There are better options at Oakland airport. Ordered the chicken cobb salad. Chicken texture was of chicken in a can and rubbery. The salad had many brown and wilted pieces. The avocado chunks had black spots (I removed more bad than what I was able to eat). Not much blue cheese. The dressing wasn’t enough to cover the salad and the waiter only came by once (brought food and drinks out), never came back to refill drinks or ask if we needed anything, but the app will automatically add 20% tip after 40 minutes unless you check out before, then you can adjust accordingly. Daughter had a burger and that’s a much safer option.
Dine in with my family the late evening 12/27 Server appeared to be friendly therefore we left a $20 tip CASH on the table. When I checked my bank statement a few days later I realized Oak ClubHouse had the audacity to add ANOTHER tip on their own to my tab. I will be coming back to speak to whomever is in charge. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS AFTER VISITING HERE
I imagine it’s somewhat of a fools errand to review an airport bar/restaurant but I don’t see another way to communicate to them. I stopped at the bar to get a mimosa before my flight. I was the only one at the bar at this time. Not that there needed to be a particular sense of urgency but overall the service was incredibly slow and this was just the starting point. He came over with my mimosa in a standard champagne glass. And the pour looked to be about what I expect from any other place. But the orange juice was on their soda gun and he shot it into the glass full force causing it to bubble and spill all over the place. And then he just filled it up again with orange juice. So I paid over $16 for a mimosa that was at least 50% orange juice. I was fine with letting that go and had plans to order another drink. However he never stopped by again to check on me or see if I wanted another drink. He walked by me multiple times when my glass was empty. Note that there was only one or two people at the bar at this time. So it wasn’t a matter of him being too busy to stop by. I then proceeded to watch him spend probably close to 10 minutes to get one bottled beer and one margarita for one customer. Again, never in his multiple trips back and forth in front of me did he ask if I wanted anything else. I finally just decided to cash out and get a drink at a different bar. Didn’t even acknowledge me as I was leaving. Very disappointing. I know it must be kind of tough to work at an airport bar because the motivation to build regulars etc isn’t really there. But I would think that they would still want to make as much money as possible. I would recommend going to a different place, if you’re ever at the Oakland airport.
the food here was very overpriced for just simple dishes. another thing was that it was super busy and felt bad for the one server there, so i gave a decent tip and payed before we received our order. when our order came, my fiancé’s drink was completely different to the one we ordered. when brought to the servers attention, he was given the poor excuse of “you get what you get.” our food orders were also partially wrong from what we ordered but we didn’t say anything because of the first response we got. i regretted giving any tip at all after that. i would not recommend eating here if you’re waiting for a flight. you’re better off just buying snacks from one of the mini airport stores based on this type of service and save you some money on overpriced meals.
I’m 11 days sober so when I sat at the bar I ordered a bitters & soda. The bartender brought it to me and asked if I would like anything else. I told her I’d probably get another one because of how much time I had to kill. She told me they don’t “do” soda at the bar. Okay. I asked her where she would like me to sit, and she said not really anywhere because I just got a soda. When I sat down I had been willing to pay for the mocktails. I hadn’t even sipped it so I left after being made to feel so unwelcome.
Absolutely hopeless!! Don’t ever buy anything here. Crispy chicken burger - chicken is partially cooked, half of the piece is overcooked. It’s a health hazard. After having such bad reviews (that unfortunately I didn’t check earlier), I am so surprised that the Oakland airport or the restaurant authorities haven’t taken any steps as a priority. Basic food with decent quality should be made available to travelers.
