Super low key restaurant with affordable and delicious food! My favorite is the salt and pepper eggplant! The texture and flavor are just excellent. It’s always been really quiet and empty when I go in, go give them some love!

Excellent food and service. Very nice and the food was delicious, savory, and properly spicy. The vegetarian options are also really nice and very flavorful. There’s something for everyone here! The food is very authentic, so don’t order anything spicy if you can’t handle a lot of spice!

I’ve only ever ordered through DoorDash. This is my go-to spot for Chinese takeout. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious and generous portions. Some stand out dishes are the salt and pepper eggplant, crab rangoon (savory not sweet), chicken chow mein and honey walnut shrimp. Highly recommend!

Oh this place was great. Ordered the beef brisket noodle soup (spicy), the salt & pepper fish, and Mongolian bun bao. We ended up with leftover soup, which I ate for breakfast the next day. If you can arrange to have leftover soup, do that, because it’s one of those soups that is even nicer after it’s had a day for all the flavors to really come out. 中秋节快乐!

Ordered on DoorDash this week, first time customer and the food was delicious. I ordered honey walnut shrimp, good portion, flavor (not soggy, not too sweet), BBQ pork buns - tasty & crab wontons - crispy. Probably going to order again and try other dishes.

One of my favorite Chinese places in Oakland. The noodle dishes are fantastic. I've come back several times and always experienced great service. I see a lot of reviews complaining about "service" and I guess maybe it's a language barrier thing; we've always found the staff to be very nice and prompt! Mouth-wateringly delicious food. Absolutely love this place.

Mind blown! May I say… my partner and I was in the mood for some authentic Chinese food, when we came across this gem and my my my I have recommended this place to everyone I know. We first started off with the hot and sour soup. Which was hit all the right notes of being sour but yet not too much. Then we had some kung pao chicken which the chicken was very flavorful and juicy. My overall favorite item of the night was the soft and taro buns a must have!! Overall I walked out that place with a smile on my face and a happy belly. Yummy!!

So do you like Spices 3? the amazing sezchuan place across the street?? Do you like noodles?! BEEF NOODLES?! This place actually has the same owner as Spices 3, so their flavor is amazing and on point! Best of all, it’s still not well know so for those quiet chilly Bay Area nights a bowl of hot soup and deliciously chewy qq noodles will warm your stomach warm your heart. I’m super surprised there wasn’t a review or even a picture already! Everyone should give this places’ brisket noodles a try, either original or spicy. I saw on yelp they have really good wings too!! (Not surprising as the explosive fried wings at Spices 3 is me and my bf’s fav dish!) Didn’t get to try it as the bowl of noodles was huge. Def will come back and bring more friends over. I believe this is the old Spices 3 location- so next time you find that Spices 3 across the street has too long of a wait, do NOT hesitate to give Spicy Noodle house a chance! This place def deserves to be filled like its predecessor!

Big portions, low prices and great lemon chicken. Had to point to the english item i wanted and the waitress highlighted it on the menu she carried with her and i nodded in agreement. I felt i was in for an authentic experience.

Delicious noodles and fast service. The noodles are super chewy, the soup is flavorful (but could be spicier). One area for improvement would be to play some music in the restaurant because it is very quiet in therewhich is kinda weird

Place was empty at noon Monday and the storefront isn't promising but the food is very good. Be warned, people with timid tongues: I ordered the one noodle soup that didn't have "Spicy" in the name but it still had a mighty kick! I was given a cracked and leaky tea cup but they replaced it right away.

We ordered take out of the Singapore noodles and Mongolian beef. It was so tasty and portions were great. We loved it!

I ordered here through Uber eats and let me tell you. They did not disappoint!!! Tasty, hot and I can't wait to try other things from the menu!!! Only negative is that the spicy beef brisket noodle soup was EXTREMELY greasy 😬. So I spooned as much of the oil off the top as possible, I'll put it in the fridge and tomorrow it will be easier to separate the oil once it hardens HOPEFULLY. However even with the grease it was still SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! 😄

Food is great here and noddles are noticeably fresh. If you’re craving anything noodle definitely order here. Chow mein is slightly spicy but I like that, lots of chunks of meat and shrimp. Overall well priced too and good portions. Highly recommend!

Great service, friendly staff, delicious food. I haven’t had Chinese food in the Bay Area in a while because I feel like since Covid everything has gotten extremely expensive and flavorless. Glad to know I have a new Szechuan spot when I go to Oakland now!

A bit of a hole in the wall restaurant serving Chinese food with an emphasis on noodles. I had the bbq pork bun and tan tan mien, both of which were really fresh and flavourful. Prices are pretty standard and the portions are pretty big for the price. The place was completely empty when I went there during lunchtime on a weekday so service was quite fast. There was one guy tending to the front of the store and he was polite and attentive. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

My first visit. I has spicy braised brisket noodle soup. Brisket was tender, broth as suitably spicy and had a fermented broad bean flavor but was too sweet for my taste. Also had a Chinese donut that was good. I Friendly staff. I'll be back to try the cold sesame sauce noodles.

Chow mein was soft and kinda greasy, kinda spicy. Green beans, were not dry braised, but wok fried in oil. Pork buns were great. Everything is just ok, but I picked up on time and by the time I got home (15min max) everything was cold.

They have sorry service. This is the second time that I called in for my food but there was no order made. Just bad business. It is sad when u have money and you want your food but u get bad service because people think your black. I pray for peace but the hate is real. They will not see me or my money again.
