9.3 💥. I was in the mood for some authentic Mexican breakfast and this place did not disappoint. Food was on point, loved the atmosphere and service was amazing. If in the area this place is a must, I was seated right away but place got busy fast.

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. It’s authentic and tasty food, a warm atmosphere, easy parking, and great service. I feel warm and comforted when here. I had the Huevos Rancheros and they were on point.

When I use to live in Oakley I did not know about this place. I found out about it right before we moved out of Oakley. This place is amazing. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Parking lot is kind of small. Great prices. They make your food fresh and fast. Their coffee is delicious. The only thing is that the salsa is not spicy. Also the menu says that chilaquiles comes with rice and beens, but if you go in the morning for breakfast, it only comes with beans. Our waiter explained that for breakfast it only comes with beans but if you go in the afternoon/evening they do come with rice. They should specify that on their menu. However he did ask if i wanted a side of rice.

Love this place! The service is excellent, everyone is always so nice and attentive. Everything I’ve had has been delicious: crispy chicken tacos, wet chicken burrito, chile relleno, beans and rice, bean dip, chicken enchiladas, machaca. Always receive our food quickly and the inside is decorated beautifully.

One of the best chicken burrito I've ever had. They are also very generous with their meat. The caldo de Pollo is very good too!

We always make a point to eat here when in town and it never disappoints! The food and drinks are always delicious and I get something different every time but it can be hard to choose because I want everything. Everyone working here is friendly and easy to talk to! You can tell this place is a favorite as there are always happy faces enjoying a meal together.

Literally the best total of good stuff, there's not anything to criticize besides the salad bowl being a tad bit small. Overall, you should go here, there's a breakfast menu too!

I had some delicious soup here for lunch, which came with tortillas and garnishing. Chips and salsa were a nice surprise. Friendly server.

The food was really good as any other time we’ve been there this time we decide to get fajitas and they were delicious. They were so delicious. We asked for more tortillas to find out when we got the bill. We were charge for more tortillas, but I’m being told that there was a charge for more tortillas. The waitress could have had said so when we ask for More, could’ve politely said there’s a charge it wouldn’t have changed anything but at least it wouldn’t have been a surprise either.

Food is good, no I didn't take picture! The chips were a little over cooked, salsa was too spicy for me, however my taquitos were good I had chicken and they were a little over cooked, guacamole was very good just the right amount of spices and cilantro, rice is good. They cook everything once you order so it does take a few and there are signs that say that so if your not a patience person you shouldn't go here, service was a little slow. I did like the decorations very colorful! I might try again!

Pozole is smackin, kids had burgers with fries, they said it was smackin. Along with the chicken nuggets. Burritos are hella big and smackin, asada fries smackin. I had the carnitas plate, it was TRASH. Hella hard and dry. Micheladas are hella good and the margaritas. Bean dip was good as well. Only took a flick of the carnitas

The tacos were good, but the rest of my party did not think the food was very good. They ordered chicken tacos, the asada plate, and beef quesadillas. Will not be going back.

Worst costumer service ever! When you enter, you will be almost ignored and asked to accommodate yourself whereever you can. Then, you'll have to wait long time for a server to show up to even offer a drink. Also, you'll have to wait another etternity to get your food (even when the place was not busy). When they finally bring your food, you'll really realize you picked the wrong place. At time of ordering, we asked how soft carnitas plate was, what my senior aunt specifically requested due denture issues. We were offered a very juicy, soft, assorted carnitas plate. Carnitas turned out to be re-heated, very dry and would be hard to eat for anyone. When I mentioned it to two different staff members, they became very rude, replying that's what they had, and that had no idea who had told us otherwise. No attempt for an apologize, of course, from any of them. After that, the service, that was already terrible, got worse. They never showed up at our table again, so I had to get up and walked to the cashier to ask myself for the bill; the same happened later that I went to pay it. On top of everything, the cashier-supervisor and his partner, were looking at me with a mocking smile while they got from me their easy money I had to provided them with in exchange for an horrendous service. What about the food quality? Over priced dishes, no too generous portions (even if you order a humble dish like beef liver with onion and beans, you'll have to pay $18.99 dollars). Sauces tasted clearly from a bottle, beans had almost a watery consistency, not talking about the faded rice, insipid and stiff, clearly reheated too. All in small portions. Tortilla chips were brought fast, but they tasted clearly cold, stiff and with a mild rancid smell. Tortillas were from store, very hot but with very sour smell, wrapped in a foil grossly thrown on top the beans. My carne asada was a decent portion, but insipid as well. I was never asked how cooked I wanted it, so I guess I was very lucky that it was not too dry, but only dry. All dishes presented in very cheap small plates. My "piña colada cocktail" was mediocre, too sweet and in need of flavor; added whipping cream on top was melting out of the cup, so cup was sticky and dripping all over the table. $8 bucks is too high of a price for this sticky mess. Restroom smelled like a stinky swamp, that they tried to mask with an even more disgusting smelling bath tablet. Dispensers were broken and overall bathroom looked neglected. Worst part with all this issues is that it was too close to booths. Mexican decorations were a decent try, but the place itself looked neglected with a suffocating air and environment and black closed blinds. The only music you would be barely able to hear is at the bar area. Location is a nightmare for any driver. Parking lot entrance is a mess; you are forced to turn on a lane at a very heavy trafficked one lane street to a super narrow entrance with all sunked and damaged pavement, so if you go too slow over it to avoid scraping your car badly, you risk being hit by passing cars. Area around looked as an industrial one, dusty and miserable, so your first impresión will be like getting to a warehouse. I strongly reccomend to avoid this place at all costs.
