Once in Oaxaca Oaxaca Reviews
Excellent cortado and pancito de chocolate croissant. As a European baker I know real butter and this was an incredible pastry to start my day. Absolutely recommend this place. Great friendly customer service. They also speak very good English. They have indoor seating and outdoor which I really enjoy. And you can get postcards, stickers and journaling and art supplies as well.
¡Gracias!
All the cafe staff were super kind to me when I went and asked for tea recommendations and coffee explanations and were patient with me while practicing my Spanish. Super cute shop with nice art/souvenirs/swimsuits as well. Their soap also smells amazing!!! Solid matcha that also offered oat milk for my lactose intolerance which was nice and were super accommodating when I forgot to order it to go! Definitely visit if you can.
This is a beautiful store and coffee spot, reminding me of the coffee in Australia. The coffee, ice chocolate and mango soda are all delicious drinks. It has a lovely atmosphere and I love sitting outside on the chairs in the sun. The artwork is very beautiful. We wrote some postcards and put them in the special box to be sent off (how cool!!) The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. I want to give a special shout out to Ivonne, who is lovely and very attentive. Thank you OIO.
Out of our 5 days in Oaxaca, we came here 3 times and spend quite a bit of time reading, signing post cards and just enjoying a bit of shade on a hot day. The staff is great, very attentive and kind. I absolutely loved their mango soda - fresh and not to sweet, just perfect. Coffee is very good too. We also bought the postcards here and they are the most beautiful thing - 75 pesos each, so on the expensive side, but we felt they were worth it.
Once in Oaxaca is a must visit on your trip to Oaxaca City. Come for the exceptional speciality coffee and banana bread (the best banana bread I’ve ever had) and stay for the welcoming vibes. This place is a cafe and an art studio, where you can buy these amazing post cards, posters and other momentos from your trip in Oaxaca. Incredibly friendly service and the owner is an amazing and welcoming guy. It’s the kind of place you could chill out with a nice drink and meet really interesting people. We went there every day on our trip and met amazing people. Get there!
Amazing little spot strategically located in a prime corner on a tree -lined street. It has a nice retail space selling arty post cards , note pads, stickers and T-shirts obviously targeted at tourists . Merchandise are of high quality and unique. Drinks are good and service is EXCELLENT !! Lovely young and cheeey crew. Definitely worth a pit stop for a nice simple breakfast of just a cooler . Highly recommended ! MUCHO GRACIAS!!
I wanted to enjoy my slow and quiet Sunday and what better spot than this positively adorable coffee shop in my favorite neighborhood in Oaxaca. The iced moka was stupendous and how could I pass on adding a cookie to my order? If you’re looking for a spot to while away some time or even if you just need to grab a coffee to go I can highly recommend this coffee shop. I can assure you that you’ll be in for a treat.
Such a nice, friendly, hip, welcoming place. Coffee is exceptional, with great selection to choose from. Outstanding service. Jaimie who speaks both English and Spanish made us feel super welcomed and gave us all sorts of helpful advise and information. And if you are up to a quick bite to eat, try the small next door place serving authentic Mexican dishes, also very good.
Once in Oaxaca: This is a nice, specialty coffee shop, that also displays and sells art and local crafts. They offer both inside and outside seating and the selection of specialty coffee is very good. You. An also buy whole bean or ground coffee. The menu is fairly standard with good prices and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I loved the Mixteca, lite-roasted coffee, one of the best I have tried in town. I definitely would put this coffee shop on my favorites list.
