I've been eating here for years. The food is good, the portions generous, and the price is fair. The menu has a wide variety -something for everyone. Best onion rings in town! Nice people, too. This is a place were the locals go.

Excellent burgers! No need for In new out mini burgers, McDonald's or BK.

This place was fantastic. Great Breakfast staying in the area overnight and caught breakfast before heading back. Will be back when in town.

The food was fresh off the grill. Good and hot. The steak and cheese sub was good and the fries were amazing.

The drive through Lady was patient as I took my time deciding what I wanted and then she went out of her way to get my some spicy salsa 🙂 They have great food and good service also.

I've been a customer for years and usually use the drive thru. It's my go to place when I'm in a hurry or not in the mood to cook. The service is a 10 and very happy with the food and quantity.

Old school diner with great fresh food, fast quality service and the right vibes. Couldn't even finish the 1/2 lb burger because it was so big. Very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Food is good. Been there a few times. Sometimes portions are real big and other times small. Would be happy if they always made sure to serve big portions like the potatoes, fries and onion rings. Especially because it's pricey. But food is good.

This is a great spot for a quick bite or a spot to meet up and enjoy a meal together. Big enough for a small family or a group of people. The staff is very accommodating and helpful with my order. Positive and reliable with what I would like to order. Their menu selection is diverse. The food came in within a timely manner and is very good. I would definitely eat here again and bring in some people next time.

My Favorites are The Steak Sandwich, The Hot Pastrami sandwich, the Chicken Breast Salad with No 'P's'(No Pickles or Peppers), and The Grilled Ham & Cheese sandwich. Burgers are also an Awesome Choice. They do put a special sauce or salad dressing on the burgers, so ask for another condiment if you're not Hip with salad dressing. Paul's Place does have Greek Gyros and a Kids Menu. They do have a drive thru. Not sure if they do Door Dash or other services? I've Never been Disappointed at Paul's Place.

This is my second visit and both times were great. Not pictured is the side of sourdough bread (the give you wheat, white and rye options as well) and the side of ranch dressing with the mushrooms. They take card as well.

Pleasantly surprised! It's probably one of the best homestyle burgers. Very good portion. I had the Ortega Swiss burger with Sweet potato fries combo. The fries were crunchy and tasteful. The burger felt like the patty was handmade. Definitely going back to try the rest.

They got variety of items from burger , Greek chicken , Mexican . They serve lunch and breakfast all day which that’s a plus . I got me an Ortega burger 🍔 with sweet potatoes fries 🍟 😍 homemade taste I recommend

A very classic short order restaurant with great food and great prices! Pictured is the grilled chicken breast salad. The chicken had excellent grilled flavor, and was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. We will certainly be coming back!

This place is a rare find, a new favorite for us. We love the double cheeseburgers and their onion rings are amazing, so are the fries (perfect texture) & fried zucchini (so yummy). Top it off with a milkshake, and it is the perfect lunch or dinner treat! My friend says the guy who cooked everything is a really good cook:) Thank you so much! Definitely will continue coming back!

Consistent and DELICIOUS food. Staff is very nice and attentive. Love the drive through option. Definitely a local favorite. Highly recommend!

This was my first time at this location. I've eaten many times at the Buena Park location while on vacation last year. This location had great food and wonderful people and service but really needs a good clean and remodel. Outside bathrooms wh were pretty bad too. My burger was awesome! Also had the fried mushrooms. I would go back if I lived in the area.

We bought a house close by, and have been eating fast food. Went to KFC and saw thr line at Paul's, compared to the emptiness of KFC. We went back the next time. So the first thing that staff were very happy, engaging, knowledgeable, enjoying their job. The menu was huge. The portions large. The quality good. This is a diner slash fast food and drive thru. Place was clean. We ordered out 2 favorites a gyro and a tuna melt. Fries were hot. Soda was good. I'll be back

We ordered mushroom swiss, philly cheese steak, and chilli cheese fries. The mushroom swiss had thousand island dressing on it and caramelized onions in it kinda like In N' Out. The philly cheese steak was a little underwhelming could have had more in it. There was nearly twice as much bread as filling and the bread was a little over toasted. The chili cheese fries were a little bland nothing a little salt couldn't help. I would definitely go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Pretty basic fast food family business. Not bad, not exceptional. I could see the smoke from the grill vent on the roof from two blocks away. They might be due to clean the flue.

Food is prepared upon ordering, it is fresh, it is flavorful when seasoned well however at times it's served sloppily. The general appearance of the structure is poor, worn down & dirty. Upon observing the counters & kitchen area these do not look well kempt. Hygiene seems questionable. Overall disheveled. It's a shame because small businesses are hurting but if you want to keep Paul's going strong a few more years a little TLC wouldn't hurt it. Business is located in a worn down area of Oceanside, high number of homeless in surrounding areas but we need to have some self respect & pride as to where we live & eat. So it's a shame Paul's seems to have succumbed to the general appearance of it's surroundings. I've enjoyed eating some food there but I would think twice before going back now. Staff is helpful, at times friendly but overall unprofessional. It may be that employee morale is a reflection of their environment.

Very friendly staff, food came out quickly. Unfortunately the food quality just isn’t there. Got the bacon breakfast sandwich and it was just bacon pieces mixed in egg and very basic. Restaurant is also pretty run down inside.

The door of the men's restroom is little bit old. Taste and volume are both OK.

Went through drive-thru and ordered a burger fries and. Drink. I asked for more napkins and I was given two small ones. I had four in total for a burger and fries. Burgers are always good but are very juicy. You need quite a few napkins. Went inside to get more and the lady at the front was apparently mad? Said “come on, come on” while I grabbed some from the dispenser at the table. I was appalled. Great food just bad service.

It use to be great here, but it's been so disappointing lately 😞 went to get fried zucchini the other day and couldn't believe the amount they gave and they were like crumbs ! The food use to be so delicious!

Paul’s was one of our favorites. Service was pushy- impatient. The food taste great however the portion did get significantly smaller. (I am aware most places have) but for the price we paid and for it to look like they barely put any zucchini in the box, is alittle crazy.

My wife and pulled into the drive through at 8:51pm. There were workers inside that seen us pull in yet no one even answered the intercom . We waited for a minute or 2 finally we pulled up to the window . By then it was 8:54. All we got from a worker who looked up was the cut off motion as if they were done. Didn't even have the curtesy to tell us that over the intercom when they knew we pulled in. If you want to close at 8:54pm then maybe they should change that on there hours of business . Not just decide to not serve Somone because you just don't feel like it. The food is mid there anyways . My wife hadn't been there in a long time and now it will be even longer before we ever go back .
