That’s why I give this girls a 10. The place was busy, I mean all tables full (a party of 10 people and 9 more tables of 4) During the hour I was in the place this girls had to deliver 4 take out orders plus assist the diner and also about 3 orders from the bakery. They did a good job and never lost their cool. They were charismatic and deliver a good service to all customers present. It took them a little bit to take the order but they did. And never lost contact with the table while waiting on our orders. Also they recommended the special which was delicious. They have a great menu and plenty of options to choose from. The food is flavorful and I am not disappointed at all. I will go there again! Place is clean and the food presentation is very clean. Price wise is affordable and worth the money. The special was $6.99 and included soup meat rice plantains and salad. And natural juice $3.00 total for 2 with appetizers $27.00.

One of the best meals I’ve had in years. The Arepas were amazing and the seafood soup (cazuela de mariscos) was phenomenal. I also had a limonada de panela, which was delicious. Delicious and well cooked. The chicken and shrimp in garlic sauce was very good. We ordered the sobrebarriga that was very soft and tasty. The fresh limeade was awesome. Service was pretty good. The atmosphere is calm and they played Spanish music videos of various artists. Price was very affordable. They have daily lunch specials at great prices.

Food is good, baked goods are very good. Service is slow and sometimes looks like they are not on top of it. I try the ajiaco and it was really good, the chuleta was good too, bandeja paisa was ok. They need to work on getting the food to the tables at the same time, make sure it's hot and not overcooked. I been here several times and 2 out of 3 times food is on point! I want to support this place during this hard times. The ceiling needs a good cleaning and paint, I hope they work on that, it will help to make the place more comfortable and cleaner.

The food is normally really good but...today the plantains were cold and didn't taste like they were cooked all the way through.

UPDATE: 5/12/24 SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE. NO GOOD! It was kind of upsetting this visit. My wife requested Entraña steak and it was not available, they had something else, but they would not replace the sides with stuff we actually wanted. 3 sides they said, rice, beans and something else. We didn't want rice and beans because of our dietary restrictions now and they said all the other sides we wanted were not included, we would have to pay extra. Ordered the lulo juice and it was terrible, tasted old and at least they changed it for maracuyá and that one was ok, but not great. Service was very underwhelming and undeserving of a tip. We had already ordered the juice and tequeños si we ate that and left. Went next door to the Mexican place, which was awesome. This was our first time going to Ocoee, Florida and we only went because I heard this place was good and found a Groupon for half price. It was worth it, only 25 minutes from our house. The food had lots of flavor. The grilled chicken is full of flavor and my wife loved it. I got a much of snacks (mecato in colombian spanish) to go and i finished them by the next day. Some friends live near by, so we will be going back soon.

We've passed this restaurant in the local mall several times. We decided to give it a shot after seeing the bandeja paisa advertised by one of their employees on a billboard standing by the side of the road. I've always enjoyed that meal and thought we would try it at a new place. the restaurant was very clean and also has a small bakery attached to it with various desserts.the staff was very polite, however only one spoke English so it was kind of hard to get our order understood. I ordered the bandeja Paisa and the wife ordered the sirloin strips sauteed with onions and tomatoes. Although we were the second couple in the door, the other got their food a little faster than we did, as did a lady that came in after us. Both meals tasted great, but the chicharones in my meal were not cooked as well as they could have been. All in all I would definitely go back and try something else. The bathrooms were clean and we stocked. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible.

I like to know the price of what I'm ordering before I order and not after I eat. Apparently the menu needs prices updated or they overcharged me for what I ordered. It was quite pricey for a couple to have a meal. I would probably go back to have an appetizer or a pastry with expresso if I had a craving because it's about the same cost as going to a Starbucks.

Must Read‼️ My first time here. I was standing for a couple mins before the waitress acknowledged I was there. She inferred that I was taking out, I had to tell her I wanted to dine. Kids hamburger was a white Castle style and size burger that had been microwaved too long so the bun was hard, I got the seafood casserole and couldn't even eat it! A friend recommended this place i ordered a uber order and the food was terrible 🤮😩. I order the costillas with platanis verdes and arepa con queso. Very bad the oil where fry the plantains was black dirty. Arepa was burned.

Ordered the brisket (called sobrebarriga on their menu). What I received was neither brisket nor edible. I let the server know that their menu must not be correctly translated, and that what I did have on my plate was too hard and dry to eat. She did not make ANY effort to fix issue - the only response was that she would tell the cook. So I paid $18 for a plate of rice, beans and a small salad. Server could have been more attentive as well.

This restaurant used to be good but the quality has gone down a lot. I will not longer recommend it. I also called the restaurant and complained and they did not came with a resolution even though I’ve a customer for a long time.

This is definitely not Salchipapa. For $10 I got half of a chorizo and some crumbled cheese with fries. This does not look appealing at all. Wont return. The chorizo was DRY and had no taste to it. Truly disappointed on the money wasted. No sauces were given or offered. Skip this place.
