Reserved a table for 2 for a girls night, we loved it. Depending on the protein you order that determines the price for the rest of the meal (3 courses + rolls) I’d say it could easily be a fun and unique date night option too. The food was beautifully prepared (my Cobb salad was beautiful!) so you’re getting all the culinary flair at an amazing price. Nothing felt too fast paced or rushed, we had time to enjoy our food and chat between courses. It’s a cool way to support our local chefs in training, plus all tips go toward the student fund. Please note they don’t serve alcohol but do offer teas, coffees, water on the table and fountain drinks. From what I was told the menu changes each semester, when we went there were 4 protein options: pork, beef, chicken, fish.

Our first visit and we were impressed. Delicious food presented beautifully. Generous portions for very affordable prices. Business casual attire is appropriate. Starter, entree, and dessert for one price. Alex was our server tonight and he was spot on with everything! We had pizzas, pork chop, poultry, and the two desserts

Yummy food cooked by the vocational school here. 3 course menu for under $50 for two!! So worth the money and it supports the community and school. We enjoyed our experience here! The menu changes often so you can go multiple times and have a different meal!

The menu changes with the semester. We’ll be back again to try other entries. You get an appetizer, main entrée, and dessert. If you’re patient & love made from scratch food you’ll really enjoy it here. 🤍

Had a great experience; food was very good, servers were attentive and helpful. Just to note they do not serve alcohol and dining will take a bit but the atmosphere is great and the food was excellent.

What a FUN experience! These students are learning valuable life skills that will carry them into the future, help them earl a living and make it in this world. And the guests are treated to a scrumptious meal, and also a learning experience not to be rushed through a meal, to appreciate the company of Friends and Family. This is a GREAT concept!

Entree was too salty. I would like to suggest that on the menu to not list the pizza separately from the starters since pizza is a starter.

We always stop here when we are in town. The steak offering is always ridiculously good. Thursday nights are much less crowded. Last week was the only time that the students have ever made a mistake with our dinners. We don't mind because it's ridiculously inexpensive, they are students, and two mistakes in 20+ visits is way better than we should expect. Happy to "suffer" through it. This is a little gem

District 21 is run by the Culinary students from Francis Tuttle VoTech. They feature certain menus for 2 weeks at a time. We had Italian menu. The dinner is 3 courses- appetizers, main course (choice of approx 5 entees) and dessert. They did a fantastic job. The tips go towards a student fund. Don't forget to make reservations!

We enjoyed dining at District 21. The food was good, comparably priced and the dining room was quiet. You didn't have to yell at your table mates . The only sour note was the service was slow and there was a loud yelling match with foul language between service and chef. We will try it again because it was an enjoyable evening and I'm sure the argument is not the norm.

Both positive and negative. I’ll start with something positive first. Probably one of the top 3 ribeyes I’ve ever had. (I’m 55.) The restaurant is very nice. Classy and elegant. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. First negative: they don’t serve alcohol. Now, not everyone drinks but I enjoy a good beer with my steak. And I think a lot of people prefer beer or wine with an elegant meal. BUT, even if you don’t, they only had sweet tea. No unsweet tea. And beyond that the choices were sodas and lemonade. Not exactly anything that pairs with a fancy dinner. NOTE: The waiter stated that alcohol couldn’t be served because it was a school. We used to go to the Platte College culinary school restaurant all the time and they had a full bar menu. So that’s not a valid reason. When drinks came out, they brought a glass of ice AND the coke can. Picky I know, but you have a very fancy table set up, people dressed nice, a gourmet dining experience, and… a Coke can. Just kind of messes up the vibe. Salad was listed as an avocado caesar. It was the middle of a head of Romain lettuce, drizzled with about a 1/4 teaspoon of a sauce that I guess may have had puréed avocado in it? We might as well have just been eating raw crunchy lettuce leaves. That was a fail. Main courses were ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. I’ve already praised the steak. Phenomenal. The potatoes were great. Well seasoned. And I don’t like brussel sprouts but these may have changed my mind. They were charred nicely, seasoned well, and cooked with bacon and onions. Delicious. My wife had the chicken picatta in a caper sauce with saffron rice and heirloom tomatoes. It was really good too! The sauce was a little on the salty side but the rice was very plain (not in a bad way) so the chicken, sauce, and rice eaten together was well balanced. Nicely done. Dessert - not a pleasant ending. Choices were a rice pudding and strawberry empanadas. The rice pudding had mangos and grapes on and under it and it paired terribly. The rice pudding was very very basic. Not good at all. Similar experience with the empanadas. It was like they barely dipped a brush in strawberry juice and brushed the inside of the dough before folding it. Couldn’t taste anything except dough. The dough itself was very nice but strawberries or even their flavor was absent. Extremely disappointing.

I know the staff are students and my expectations should be gauged accordingly, but my experience was disappointing. I made reservations on a Thursday and we arrived 5 - 10 min early and were seated. 15 min later we were still waiting on a server. I approached 3 servers standing together and inquired and was told by one "I'll ask". After another 10 min we decided to leave. I hope this was an exception and that the serving staff will receive better instruction on being self motivated and better organized.
