Wow! Wow! I ordered three pizzas, and they were so quick to bring everything to me. I ordered a Margherita and put a little spicy oil on top. I think I've never had such a good pizza! Truly delicious. Afterwards, I ordered fries, which were also incredibly good compared to the incident I had last year. Truly excellent service and, above all, excellent food.

Whether it's a pizza with family or friends, or a lunch after a hike up Mount Avaro, it never disappoints! The pizzas are thin, well-cooked, and offer a decent variety to choose from. The tourist menu offers traditional and delicious first and second courses. In both cases, leave room for dessert; the homemade ones are a must-try! The tastefully decorated dining room, the more than fair bill, and the kindness and courtesy of the owners and staff add value. Edelweiss is a must-visit!

I went on Sunday for a family lunch, having no idea what the place was like, but I have to say it was a wonderful surprise. Excellent food and friendly staff. I've been vacationing in the valley for years, but I've never found a place like this. I'll definitely be back as soon as I can.

An unpretentious place on the outside, but a charming and spacious interior with large windows overlooking the surrounding Orobie mountains. Very welcoming staff, truly excellent food, no doubt about it. Pasta is strictly hand-rolled. I had a plate of buckwheat pasta, excellent. No photos; I ate it first, then thought about the photos. Sorry. Recommended.

After taking a winding uphill climb we arrived at Edelweiss ,we had only coffees but we watched a table of Italian 🇮🇹 workman enjoying there lunch. Peaceful and is on some of the walking trials there

The best braised meat ever, that alone makes it worth a visit! I've been there several times and will return again. For starters: pizzoccheri, casoncelli, and tagliatelle, excellent, and recently, pumpkin, porcini mushroom, and sausage risotto, delicious and delicate! And the "foliage" appetizer with chestnuts and honey, along with cured meats and cheeses... very good. Then there are the main courses: in addition to the braised meat with taragna, there's the quail... a pleasant discovery, or the scallops, the classic "tourist dish." And then the desserts. Everything was delicious. Fast service, friendly owners. There's a tourist menu with a wide selection, which changes with the season, and there's an à la carte menu. The dining room has panoramic windows on three sides with a spectacular view. Parking is right outside the restaurant. It deserves top marks from me.

This quaint and charming little restaurant is nestled right into the side of the mountain and has stunning views from its main dining room. The food is unpretentious but delicious. A great mix of local food from the region and Italy in general. Definitely worth visiting

Esperienza partita maluccio con 30 minuti di attesa solo per prendere l'ordinazione, poi si sono riscattati con il cibo che devo dire ottimo, il risotto cotto alla perfezione, il cervo buono , la taragna nella norma , ma i funghi porcini erano super, i più buoni mangiati in zona, alla fine hanno accelerato prezzi ottimi, comunque in 2 ci abbiamo messo 1 ora e 40 per mangiare, accettabile ,speso 50€ per un primo e 2 secondi vino compreso veramente di qualità.

Lunch for two on July 25, 2024 We went there thanks to a Google search and after visiting San Giovanni Bianco and Averara (the latter in particular is worth a visit if you're in the area). Various classic dishes from these areas (braised meat, game, rabbit, salami, etc., with plain or taragna polenta), as well as fish and other dishes. We had lunch with two plates of homemade ravioli with mascherpa and paruch (a delicate ricotta produced only in the summer and wild spinach, respectively—two local ingredients). The dish was tasty and delicate. 2 taragne with rabbit and porcini mushrooms (perfectly cooked rabbit, to be eaten with your hands and then finger-licked) 1 strudel with berries and peach 1 portion of cheese (Slow Food Presidium Stracchino Valli Orobiche) 1/2 house red wine 1 water 2 coffees All for €59, which I consider a fair price, especially considering the use of raw materials. The only small flaw: perhaps the strudel was a little cold; a minute in the oven would have added a little extra.

Nice location, very friendly. The nicest room, however, isn't dog-friendly. We went for fungolandia, and the dishes were delicious and very homemade. The service was decent, but even though it wasn't very busy at the time, we felt a bit abandoned toward the end. That can happen, though. All in all, we had a good time. The prices were fair, and the food was good.

In ottima compagnia per fortuna!! Pizza buona ...io ho preso filetto di manzo alla piastra cottura media euro 18.00 uno schifo ...del filetto non aveva nulla..,appena arrivato al tavolo le due persone vicino a me ...mi hanno subito detto che puzzava!!! È inutile che dice che sono amica della concorrenza ....io frequento la concorrenza perché si mangia molto bene e cmq non sono amica ma si è creato un bel rapporto cliente/proprietari perché lo frequentiamo spesso.....il filetto cmq non è stato rimandato in cucina per evitare commenti da parte vostra che già sapevo ci sarebbero stati e la conferma l ho avuta anche dalla vostra risposta! Cmq il filetto non è stato mangiato da me ma è finito nella borsa per poi essere buttato se proprio vuole sapere la verità!!
