Philly's Best

This by far is the best Philly cheese steak I work near this store and they open up at 10:30 but since we take break at 10 they always open up for me early or I call in my order they always are nice friendly and the sandwiches are so so good. my favorite there is the Philly steak with cheese and extra mushrooms light mayo and toast the bread, fries with the cheese sauce on the side and to top it all off a black cherry rootbeer..

Great restaurant for a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Highly recommend that you try the Philly steak fries. Their cheese is very flavorful. French roll is really fresh and soft. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. They definitely have a new loyal customer. Thank you Heather appreciate the customer service.

We came in 10 min before closing. The two guys working were so pleasant and didn't make us feel like we were holding them up from closing procedures. Our food was hot, and delicious! I recommend the beer batter onion rings to go with your sandwich, they are so good!!

This place was recommended by a friend and wow! From the moment we came in everything was perfect. The service was friendly, and helpful considering we'd never been there before. Our food arrived piping hot and perfectly prepared. I felt we got our money's worth for the price. It was a huge sandwich! I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The last time I had a real Philly cheese steak was in the early seventies. I haven't found one that half compares to it until I came across Philly's Best today. I got a cheese steak with cherry peppers and onions grilled. The seasoning and sauce made it so good. The beef was tender. I found a new place to frequent. Thanks you guys!

GREAT CHICKEN CHEESESTEAKS!!! Fast service and has online ordering. My orders are always waiting for me and still very hot and delicious. If your a cheesesteak lover, this is your place. 7 STARS !!!

Update. Food is great as usual. Best cheesesteak place around. Thwir cheese fries are so good. Love the nashville sauce too. Try the cheese sauce on yiur cheesesteak with the nashville sauce. Then let's talk about the food. I get a simple meat and cheese cheesesteak. I get aside of their nashville hot sauce. Trust me. It is one of the best sauces. Put it on the cheesesteak. Yuummm. Then an order of cheese fries. Never said it was a fat free meal. A full cheesesteak and an order of cheese fries is usually enough for two people. This is my favorite cheesesteak place here. I was born not to far from Philly.

It’s located right next to a Subway, but trust me—it’s miles away from Subway when it comes to flavor and freshness! The veggies were crisp and fresh, the fries were extra tasty, and my favorite part… they sell Mexican Coke! A perfect spot if you love sandwiches. Highly recommend!

I was having a rough work week and came by here for lunch. The cheesesteak was on point! It was hot, bread was fresh, and the portions were great. The girl at the counter was very nice, and she brought my food to me and asked if I needed any ranch or sauce. Her energy was just the extra I needed to make my lunch enjoyable. I ate 1/2 my sandwich, and I was going to get a bag. A guy swooped up behind me and said, "You need a bag?" He was on it and helped me out.

In town for work and trying different places. I got the Philly's Best. The bread was fresh, soft and toasted. The meat was well seasoned and the entire sandwich was delicious. I wish that I would have found this place early in my stay so that I would have had time to come back.

Philly's Best in Ontario has an amazing variety of Authentic Cheesesteaks. This is what Cheesesteaks should taste like! The decor is everything Philly. You almost feel like your grubbing on a Cheesesteak in The City of Brotherly Love.

It was our first time eating here and OMG! Hubs had the classic Philly cheese steak I had the pastrami delicious!! The bread the bread the bread is amazing and I am a bread snob and hubs is pretty picky and when he says it’s good I know he really means it lol. The only thing I wish the pastrami had a choice for pickles. We will definitely be eating here again.

I will be back! We ordered a Steak hoagie, a classic cheesesteak, and a phillys best cheesesteak. They were HUGE! They do not skimp on the meat here folks. Good flavor and soft bread that didn't get soggy. A great combination. Reasonably priced for the quality and taste. This is NOT Subway or Jimmy John's people so dont expect a $5 sandwhich! You have to try this!!!

This is for all the true Philly people. I ate a Philly cheesesteak with just provolone and grilled onions (sorry, never been a fan of peppers). I enjoyed just watching the way the cook slowly turned the provolone into every single delicious bite of beef. It was amazing to just watch. I was traveling back in time to a corner, a cart, & the best dang cheesesteaks known to man! I had NOT had a real Philly cheesesteak as wonderful & delicious as this in 25+yrs! Why? No one could do it right. 😢 My very 1st bite, I was taken back to Philly, with my best friend Margie drinking beers, watching the Eagles game & munching our cheesesteaks! Thanks for bringing back those wonderful memories! I now eat a cheesesteak about once a month! So happy somebody could finally do a Philly cheesesteak the Philly way! Not a huge fan of the cheese whiz but the Italian hoagie IS my second favorite! Food is nostalgic & they do it right here.

If you're hankering for a cheese steak this restaurant is one of the better ones I've been to in the IE. The facility was clean enough, employees were respectful and responsive. The "Philly's Best" sandwich which has Steak, Cheese, Mushrooms, Bell peppers and optional onions is a good way to go, about 8.99.

They have 3 people working instead of the normal 2 people. They have 9 tables in the restaurant. Bringing the food is more of a personal touch. Other than that the food is great. Seems their employees they have now, care more than past employees.

The philly steak sandwich is good but the service wasn't that great ,they charge for ranch since non of there subs come with it.

The food is really good, but very expensive. There are no kids meals, and ranch is $1

Not bad...not great...there was one cook and one cashier. Neither had a sense of urgency. There was one person waiting when I entered; no one dining in. Food taste was ok. Not much meat. Hot peppers and pickles were almost empty, and when they added cheese to my sandwiches they were basically scraping the last bits from a container they had resting on the cook top. Price point doesn't help. I'll make my own next time.

Typical California version of a Philly cheesesteak. Their pictures luring you in and on the menu show about 4 times the meat you actually get on your sandwich and nowhere near anything you get in Philadelphia. C’mon guys… If you’ve got “Philly’s Best” as your name, you’ve got to represent!! Bummer, I really wanted to like this place…

We moved to the area recently. Have frequented Philly Best locations elsewhere. We gave this location several tries but it’s atrocious. The cheesesteaks we have received on several occasions can’t even be called cheesesteaks. Being from Philly myself, these are crap. Not enough meat, overcooked or burnt, etc. The staff seemed new and/or stressed. I felt bad for them. Understaffed with a ton of orders and one cook. For the amount of money they are now charging for their food, I would expect much more. Icing on the cake was waiting 30+ minutes for dried out, burnt cheesesteaks. Huge disappointment when Philly Bests was my go when home sick.

!!! WARNING: Got VERY BAD food poisoning from this place. Every other meal I had three days prior was home cooked and typical. I am 100% sure it was the Cheese steak Sandwich that did me in. I suspect raw chicken was cooked on the same grill as the meat and improperly cleaned. Your guess is as good as mine. Meanwhile I am now unable to keep ANY solids or liquids in me for two days. ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK. Edit: now on day 3 if food poisoning. Ask yourself if a sandwich is worth 3 days of your health.
