Ordered to-go here and everything was excellent. Food was very tasty, prices were competitive, and ordering was a breeze. Food/Drink- 5 stars shaken beef with garlic noodles- pretty solid. I would order again if I'm craving a heavy meal garlic chicken rice- they did a great job with deep frying the chicken and adding enough fish sauce in the marinade. really flavorful June special pork chop with rice- same as above. The pork chop was perfectly marinated and had a perfect char as well BBQ grill plate- ordered this with ribeye over vermicelli. Their protein and egg rolls are really good Service- 5 stars Easy order service online or over the phone. I ordered over the phone this time since their monthly special wasn't available online Bottom Line Excellent Vietnamese food! Will add to my rotation!

If you’re looking for Vietnamese food in Orange, Mama Hong’s is a standout. This place is a family legacy!!! The owner, Lan Pham, opened the first Mama Hong’s in 2012 to honor his mother’s cooking, and you can taste that sense of home in every bite :) Everyone in here is SO lovely - make you feel like family. The Orange location keeps that balance of modern, clean design while still feeling like a super cozy neighborhood spot!!!
Came in to pick up my order and realized it had been scheduled for a much later time. The server was very polite and helped me cancel the online order so I could reorder in the restaurant. I did have to wait a bit longer, but I didn’t mind at all. The food here is delicious and absolutely worth it. They were clearly understaffed, but the two girls working were incredibly polite, patient, and hardworking. To any potential customers—please show them grace and patience. They’re genuinely trying their hardest.
Wow. 1st time here and we were not disappointed! Our favorite Pho place closed so we are hunting for our new go-to. All of the food is fresh, made to order, and absolutely delicious! Fast and friendly service. Price is $$, but worth every penny!
We had such a great dinner at Mama Hong’s in Orange last night. We ordered the Pho Combo, Grilled Porkchop with rice, Grilled Steak with eggrolls and vermicelli noodles, plus spring rolls and grilled pork rolls—everything was fresh and delicious. Our favorites were definitely the Grilled Steak with eggrolls and vermicelli bowl (Bun Thit Nuong and Cha gio) and the Grilled Porkchop with rice plate (Com with Thit Nuong and egg) . The atmosphere is clean and nicely decorated, and we loved the fun touch of a robot delivering our food. A special shout-out to Amanda, the host/manager, who greeted everyone warmly and checked on tables throughout the evening. She’s so personable and made the experience feel extra welcoming. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in Orange for authentic Vietnamese comfort food and top-notch hospitality!
Been to many different Viet restaurants in OC. The best thing I like about this restaurant is that it's different without being too wild. Most places that I go to that are different add too much fusion and trendy thick sauces to their dishes. I like how it's traditional but at the same time creative with the traditional Viet dishes. I will be taking my entire family here on my next visit. the Jasmin ginger tea was very delightful, and the Vietnamese condensed milk coffee had just the right amount of kick and satisfied my sweet tooth.
The oxtail pho was incredibly tasty. The broth was delicious and the meat was so tender. The appetizer trio was really good. Everything we tried was great. The service was great too. Definitely going back.
Ordered some take out. I’ve had the rice before and it was very good. Got wings and egg rolls this time. Everything was delicious. Definitely Recommend this place.

This place has authentic pho that’s absolutely delicious! I had the Filet Mignon with shrimp and rib-eye spring rolls. The ingredients were fresh, the food was served in a deliciously seasoned broth and the staff was very accommodating! With the recent cold weather in California, this is a perfect place for a warm, comforting meal. We will return soon!
Their ox tail pho is amazing. Take out containers are large enough put both the broth and fixings into when you get home.
We love Mama Hong’s! We’ve been coming here for years and it’s one of our go-to spots for Vietnamese food. We’re a family of five and drive from Placentia, and it’s always worth the drive. The food is always fresh and really good. The meat is great quality and the portions are generous. We love the grilled pork sandwiches, and the Thai tea is a must every time we come. The service is also amazing—everyone is super friendly and fast. Angelica and Liz always take great care of us, making sure we have everything we need. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely keep coming back
We had Grill Pork Chops & Spring Rolls and Filet Mignon Pho, at the Orange County Location, it was Delicious!! Luis the host and the staff were very friendly and attentive we recommend Mama Hong's!
This place is great! I eat there once or twice a week. The portions are generous & the price is fair. "Traditional Combo" with extra tendons. The best!!! 🤌

Zelda is the best waitress I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was so kind and made sure my meal was just the way I liked it. I saw she gave the same courtesy to other customers as well. She showed a keen eye to attention to detail in her work when she spotted eggs that were not cooked to the customers order. And was quick to point it out and have it corrected before the plate made it to the customer. I look forward to dining there again!
Zelda was our waitress. Very professional and happy and on the ball! She has a very personable disposition and is warm and welcoming. Made our time at Dennys really good!

I had a great experience at Denny’s! The food came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress, Autumn, really made the visit stand out. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks stayed full and that we had everything we needed. She checked on us without being overbearing and had a great attitude the whole time. Overall, excellent service and a pleasant meal. Traveling through at 8:00 on Christmas Eve and stopped to eat. The restaurant is very clean and the manager, Christina I believe was her name, had everyone working in harmony. They had a least 5 large tables - we were just a party of 2 - everyone was working together and genuinely happy. No one wants to be working late on Christmas Eve, but you never would have known it looking at these people work. GREAT JOB!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great experience at this location. We were greeted at the front door by Zelda, who was also our waitress. Her beautiful spirit, presence and attention to detail while we were there made our dining experience GREAT! We will be back!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 We had an amazing experience at Denny’s thanks to our server, Autumn! I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon and avocado, and my boyfriend got the bourbon bacon burger with no mushrooms. We also tried the chicken tenders, and Autumn made sure we had plenty of ranch and buffalo sauce. She made me an Oreo milkshake and even created a strawberry Shirley Temple for me—even though it wasn’t something they normally offer. Everything came out fast and delicious. We also got the apple crisp, and the service was just as great as the food. Autumn was super sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her customer service was amazing. I definitely recommend asking for her if you want great service at Denny’s!
Overall walking in the atmosphere was uninviting but our service was phenomenal. She was amazing and very inviting. She greeted us with a smile and warm personality. Cherie was definitely a pleasure!
This time I had the apple crisp pancakes & they were more delicious than the pumpkin ones! Hubby had steak & eggs again, and Zelda was an awesome server, with a beautiful smile that was contagious. Great food, great service again! Thank y'all and God bless!
Hershall acknowledged us as soon as we walked into the door. We did not have to wait for a booth, we were seated immediately. The food was delicious and came out quick. Great experience!

Teresa was so sweet and she provided great service, very attentive. She was also very quick and got our order correct! We drove all the way from Port Arthur and will definitely be coming back. Hopefully we get her again. Food was also very delicious.

The menu posted is not the same price at the store. The menu on Google says $11.95 for porkchop combo. It's $18.95 on the menu here at the restaurant.
After having a great experience ordering the sirloin steak yesterday, I had came back early the next day planning to have breakfast and leave a 5 star review but there is still room for improvement on their breakfast. Specifically the main reason I usually choose Denny’s over all its competitors is the affordable $5.99 2 egg with home fries and toast meal slam. When I walked in I was first seated at a table with sticky beverage rings from not being wiped down from previous customers. Then when I couldn’t find the Denny’s $5.99 meal slams on the menu, I asked the waitress about it and another employee told her their breakfasts start at $8.00. So I found the $5.99 breakfast slam on the Denny’s website on my iPhone and showed it to her to order. Food arrived and was great. Denny’s has some of the best home fries. But I wish they were not so wishy washy about promoting their $5.99 meal slams.
The new brisket melt sandwich was not as good as I anticipated but wasn’t bad either. I just expected it to be a bit more tender but wasn’t still delicious. Service was good but sometimes delayed as employees tend to not pay great attention to customers while they work on wiping menus or making up napkins with silverware. Overall it still great food good service and a relaxed atmosphere. And the Caramel Apple Crisp dessert made it all better.

Starting with the positives, the service there was good and the the restaurant was nicely decorated. The down side was the food. I came with my partner and we both ordered different pho bowls, some chicken spring rolls and some teas. Both of our pho’s broth was lacking in flavor, the noodles were excessively soggy and the meat matched the broth (lacking flavor). The spring rolls chicken was dry and I’ve never had spring rolls with the rice paper they used as it was very thick and felt like I was eating the packaging of the food. The teas we got (guava with something else) had way to much of the guava puree and way too sweet. I go to a lot of pho restaurants and this one was rough. Very nice staff, so I feel bad to give this review

I am truly disappointed! Last night we arrived tired and hungry ready to enjoy the evening and just relax .. I have never experienced Such UNPROFESSIONALISM BEFORE !!!!!! First of all we waited and had to find someone and ask if we sit ourselves or we continue to wait to be seated ?.. we also had to get up and get our own menus , clearly there was tension everywhere, the manager kept pestering 1 of his employees ...ok I understand late night 1 sever for the place. But , as we continue to wait the Main Manager Terry was So UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND UN JUST provoking one of his employees around 14 people witness something so uncomfortable! .. if this manager Terry had an issue or a dislike with his employee , excuse me sr ! but call him to the office and get yourself another employee for witness and professionally discuss the issue IN PRIVATE !!!!! . There was So much screaming ! Loud LOUD arguing! 3 tables stood up and left !!!!! People waiting to be seated left as well ! Other just witness how ugly this escalated, with police escorting the employee out the door ,which clearly should have been the other way around ! .. It took almost 2 hrs to re direct the attention to customers and get food on the table .. The manager Terry lacked professionalism and should have kindly excuse himself or apologize to customers for his behavior and make sure everyone is ok and make sure tables are being attended .. NO NOTHING ! Yet the poor waitress Britney had to give face for him and attend every table and apologize to customers so they won't continue to feel uncomfortable... Denny's do better with your managers ! Instead of reprimanding the employee that was escorted out by police ! You need to deal with the manager Terry first !
