Delicious just like every other Popeyes. My food tasted good, except the food came in a box inside a bag and not in a tray like other Popeyes restaurants which made me a little confused but it didn't bother me.

This Popeyes franchise sucks. The workers are not well trained , specially customers relations.

Yesterday August 27 I arrived to this new location. The service was immaculate. I was taking care of by this girl named Samantha . She had a smile on her face as she was greeting me and taking my order. I really do appreciate people like her that work really hard, but also take care of their customers very attentive. I would love to go back to this restaurant because of the service I got.

Came to this Popeyes when it first opened and it was suuuuuper busy, but they were all still super nice and friendly and the food was delicious! Went back a couple months after , just as nice and friendly and the food was still fresh and delicious.

Honestly, this post might be taken down but here we go. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Popeyes at all. As of today, this store has only been open 2 days. 2 days!!! For all the people complaining and writing one star reviews have clearly have NEVER worked in ANY food service business. Yes, the store is brand new but there are going to be soooooo many mistakes made. That’s what happens, that’s how it works. The first couple of weeks are chaos when opening new food spot. I have done it many of times and it is never perfect. Not even near perfect. Everyone is running around like “their heads are cut off” because it is chaos. So once again, the people giving one star reviews..be patient, if you didn’t like your food, come back a week later and give the review. Not the day they open or second day. How would you like it if someone came into your work, overloaded you, and gave you a one star review. Probably wouldn’t be fun and not accurate of what they can actually do. So hey, don’t be rude. And to the person complaining about someone getting into a car wreck, that is not Popeyes fault. Ridiculous!

Awesome employees at this location! And I mean it’s a Popeyes, it’s going to be amazing if you want it to or not! Love the biscuits and fried and their sandwich is to die for! Much better than Chic Fil A. Great place

Chicken sammy did me good! Mouthwatering, got me wet and let me just say, that window attendant was THE BEST 10/10. In conclusion, left with a smile on my face and tendies in my tummy. Ignore the low reviews, this Popeyes dominates above all other Popeyes.

Great food and service. I can understand the mistakes that have been happening since the restaurant just opened and it's been very busy everyday. I ordered inside so I cannot say anything about the drive thru other than it's always busy and has long lines.

The chicken sandwich is delicious, I love the shrimp too! I tried the new wraps recently and they were also really good!

I love Popeyes, retired truck driver. I always enjoyed truck stops that included a Popeyes franchise. It's wonderful having a new store open in Orange. Go get the best Chicken sandwich, only available at Popeyes.

Is anyone else's mashed potatoes spicy? I like it, it's unique but it's also weird. It tastes like someone put jalapeños in the mashed potato's & gravy. Overall: good location & cleaner than the 17th St one but food at the 17th st one definitely tastes better.

I've been wanting to try this location since it has a drive thru which is very convenient. I found it odd that there were no cars waiting but I soon found out why. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. Service was quick and friendly at the window. Almost too quick, which concerned me. That's about it for the good. The sandwich itself looked good but was not good. The bun was almost hard and had that day old taste. There was almost no sauce on the sandwich which made the bread taste even more dry. The chicken was the driest piece of poultry I've had in a while. I had to wash down the first bite with water. At least the batter had flavor but man, the chicken was a dry let down. I started to peel the bun off because the dryness of the bun and chicken was way too much. This sandwich made the Chic Fil-a spicy sandwich look gourmet! I probably won't go back to this location unfortunately and stick to the solid Santa Ana location, even though it's walk in only. 4 stars for service, unfortunately, minus one star for the food. Such a bummer.

Service is fine! I was there and ordered 8 pcs of chicken take out for $21.54 on 9-14-24 but when I got home and start eating I noticed that they only give me 7pcs.Can’t call the store, number is not listed in the receipt. Store #14928

This is my first trip to this new location, and my first trip to a Popeye's in several years. This was also an app order for pickup. The location is very clean and presentable (as one would expect from a new restaurant) and the staff was polite and attentive. I will say that they skimp heavily in the strips though. I got the 5 piece and only got two whole pieces with 2-3 smaller items that looked like boneless wings and one that looked deflated (mostly skin/breading). They also gave me (mostly) the wrong dips. I ordered Buffalo Sauce, Mardi Gras Mustard and Sweet heat, but was given only Sweet Heat and Wild Honey Mustard. The actual quality of the food was great, but I wouldn't trust my order to be 100% accurate and need to double check next time before walking out the door.

It has become very expensive. I it’s been a couple of months, but the price jump is very significant. Not worth $13.00 For 2 pieces of dark chicken, 1 roll, coleslaw and a drink. I can go to Red Robin and get a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and sauce with unlimited fries for $11 I need to check out some other chicken places to see how they compare.

It was bad to go in here on this day no one wanted to serve us. They told us they didn't have regular chicken straps and it was 2 hours to closing time. It was more important for a worker to make his own sandwiches before helping the customers, as well as cooking some strips for us. Very disappointed we went here that night.

2/3 times I’ve ordered here they gave me the wrong thing, or just completely forgot to give me like the other half. Is it a training thing or a hiring thing?

I have never in my life waited so long for an order in the drive-thru. I placed a mobile order to be picked up. They confirmed my order at the speaker. When I finally got to the window, my order was not ready, and they literally had to prepare it, even though it was 30 minutes past the pickup time because the drive-thru line was so long. At least three passengers got out of their cars to go in the location to go to the bathroom and come back to the car that was still in the same spot in the drive-thru. Ridiculous!

Cmon man. Yall can’t even sauce the wings properly? It’s the little things that management isn’t staying on top of.

i work fast food so i understand it can be stressful but omg. Every time we go here something is wrong. First they didnt have any honey left at all. Then we asked for specific pieces of chicken and they said they could do it but didnt. Then this time they only had one leg left and said it would take like 15 minutes to cook more. On top of that we asked for honey and got none once again. And the presentation for the mac and cheese is wack like it dont even fill the whole cup most of the time.The managers need to do better fr.

Normally popeyes is pretty good but when I went there I asked for a chicken 2 can dine box....all dark meat....and what did I get???!!! 2 breast, 2 wings, and 1 drumstick!. Not happy. Last time I checked wings and breasts were white meat. Not happy

Bad costumer service...wrong order!!!

HATE ordering from here!! I have been here at least 5 times and EVERY order has had at least one big item missing!! The workers will sit there and give you attitude and are never apologetic. The food is delicious but the service and attitude is beyond terrible.

Writing this for future reference. Ordered a 5 piece special offer on my phone through drive through window and when I got home it was only a 2 piece in the box. Ive Ben calling but no one answers. I will go tomorrow when I have extra time. Thank you.

I ordered a combo that includes 6 wings. I didn't find any 6 wings in my bag.

I get it, it's brand new, and they hired a bunch of local kids, and you have to wait for the first crop to learn what they are doing or wash out or whatever. But I'm sorry, these kids are making $20 an hour and they take forever and get everything wrong. I've been here twice since it opened thinking I got them at a bad time, but nope, it's just really particularly bad. It's like they are hiring exclusively from some kind of at-risk youth diversion program lol.

Line was so long and waited forever. Order was completely wrong. They couldn’t even properly read my order back to me. My soda had no carbonation. Doesn’t even look like they had anyone experienced in there to help the inexperienced.

The staff working the drive thru was absolutely incompetent today. They don't know their own menu. We had to order twice and it was still wrong!

She looks up the receipt and tells me that the order is correct. I told her she must have heard me wrong because I said a 3 piece combo spicy not a Number 3. She proceeded to argue with me and say that’s what I ordered instead of saying she was wrong. I wouldn’t order a number 3 because I don’t eat pork!!! And it had bacon! And she tried to tell me to buy another meal. I told her I want my 3 piece swapped out and I will pay the difference and she proceeded to keep arguing with me and tell me I was wrong. Well, what can I say... It's a nice new location but tbh my husband & I threw our food away, I got sick and had to puke after a couple bites. It wasn't cooked thoroughly no flavor or much seasoning at all. I mean we wouldn't give it to our dog if that says much. Drive the extra couple miles to go to the other location on 17th/Grand. Idk maybe in time theyll get it together but there's no way we'll be going again any time soon or ever again really, I'd be too scared. But, it looks nice from the outside, that's about it. 🤷‍♀️ for now either save your money or drive an extra couple miles to the other location.

The chicken was cold, ordered Ghost pepper wings but was given regular wings, the Cajun fries were very bad. None of the food tasted good. We love Popeyes and always get it from another location but decided to try this one, will never purchase from here again. I hope Popeyes will take note of this location.

I ordered a 12 pc family meal and they didn’t have any hot sauce available… When I came back they didn’t offer me anything for making the drive back either. I had to ask for a sweet heat and the girl literally gave me only one. They didn’t apologize for the inconvenience nothing. Manager was asian with tattoo on her forearm. Please get a grip of this location, we will never come back again.

Bottomline: Service horrible, food quality hit or miss, flavor good. Popeyes is my go to fried chicken place. I placed an online order for the new Hot Ones bundle and went to pick it up in-store 15 min later. I ended up waiting behind another walk in customer. The wait was very long. The cashier in the black shirt who seemed like a supervisor or manager kept trying to appease this customer because the Popeyes worker wanted some deal related to car parts or something like that. Ended up giving the customer 25% discounts 3 times, exchanged phone numbers and then immediately prepared his food for him before he even greeted me. After I request my order, he checked with the drive thru worker if there was everything? He added sauce and gave me my order. When I got back to the car, I saw it was missing the Rojo sandwich from the bundle. It took 5 minutes before anyone even came to help me when I went back in. After I got the sandwich and went back to my car, I saw again that instead of the Last Dab ranch that defines the Darin Dab Wings, they gave me regular buttermilk ranch. I had to go back in again. Eating the food, the Hot Ones Dippers were cold, the Darin Dab Wings were barely warm. Man, no longer going to this location again.

There seems to be a culture at this location that exhibits "I'm so disinterested in doing my job well, just watch how bad I can do it and get away with it." Three orders, all three incorrect. After the third incorrect order, I actually went in to ask someone at the front if their meals were just premade and so they weren't being bothered to make the meal with the request, or what exactly keeps them from leaving pickles off of a wrap. The young lady put up with me, but had no significant interest in considering what I was asking. I'm positive, even if trying to be as polite as I could, my question can't really be well received. More concerning though, the guy behind the counter standing around, admiring his own arms, repeatedly cursing at something and loud enough for me to hear. He also seemed to have little interest in doing his job well, and wasn't working remarkably hard that I could tell. It's a new location, but my opinion is that the owners aren't demanding a whole lot from their employees here, and so we're all going to continue getting crap meals from this location until ownership forces something different. Food was great when it was freshly made in front of me, by the way.
