The Peel Craftbar and Kitchen is a pleasant surprise, especially for hotel guests. The breakfast is highly recommended, with the french toast and breakfast burrito being popular choices. While some found the ingredients not as fresh as expected, the service is consistently praised as exceptional and attentive.
Tip: If you're staying at the Hotel Fera, it's better to have breakfast there than to look for another place.

I came here to meet up with former coworkers as they were meeting at Hotel Fera. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel's bar exceeded all expectations. I typically don't have high hopes for 'hotel bar' food and drinks, but this experience completely changed my perspective. The wings were exceptionally delicious – perfectly crispy and flavorful – and the cocktails were clearly crafted with care and attention to detail. The added bonus of their fantastic Happy Hour prices makes this a highly recommended spot, even if you're not a hotel guest.
Exceptional service. Waitstaff is extremely attentive and has great rapport with kitchen as orders can be modified to personal preferences. Servers are not only friendly, they are extremely caring and many serve as bar tenders and can pair any meal with palate pleasing drink. Alan, the floor manager is unbelievably talented and over the Christmas season, entertained children as the all so friendly Grinch! Kids were amused and parents all so happy. If you get to know the wait staff they're not only talented authors, screenwriters, actors, or tradesmen, they each have families and wonderful stories to share if you're interested. I was at the hotel for the entire month recovering from surgery and they treated me with great kindness and understanding despite being so very busy at times. Jobe, Maya, Bryan, Carlos, and several others will treat you just as well. If you haven't been to the Peel yet, you need to go. It's bar is reminiscent of a neighborhood bar where friendlies congregate to watch some ball and talk smack. It's a place ladies can go and expect to be treated with respect. I never once saw a bar hound. The kids will love the fish pond, pool, and jacuzzi while at night, lovers will enjoy the romantic outdoor gas lit fires that provide a warm and embracing feel. I'll be returning in April for sure because as great as this hotel's location and amenities are, Alan and his team are Top-shelf pros who haven't forgotten that they're serving people and not customers. If you'd rather be treated like a customer, visit another hotel restaurant or better yet, the Wendy's across the street. The Peel, it's got just the right Feel!!!!
I attended an event at Peel Craft Bar recently. I haven’t been to this Doubletree hotel in many yearsss so it’s great to return to a vibrant and fresh lobby with great food and booze and fun atmosphere. Alessandro was a friendly and efficient server. He gave us the scoop on the event menu and top selling dishes and shared his drink faves. The chef and sous chef also came out to say hi to each table - it was a really nice touch. My favorites were the Pei mussels and Shrimp & Scallop Aguachile: both citrusy and super tasty. I absolutely love the curry broth of the mussels which went so well with the toasty bread. Both had very generous servings of seafood. If you like fried chicken wings with a spicy kick, they have it so delicious! Loved my cocktails too: Como La Flor and Bloody Smoke. Very unique, colorful and refreshing! I’d love to try the other yummy cocktails! I will most definitely return with my husband and friends! Highly recommended for after-work get-togethers!!! Hopefully they’ll have a brunch menu for weekend family brunches :) Follow me on IG for more food and travel spots @i_therefore_conclude
A Happy Hour to Remember at The Peel Craftbar & Kitchen The Peel Craftbar & Kitchen in Garden Grove offers a delightful happy hour experience. Enjoy discounted drinks and appetizers in a stylish, modern setting. From handcrafted cocktails to delicious bites, there's something for everyone. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it the perfect spot to unwind and socialize.
Great service. The menu doesn’t have the most variety but the choices are delightful. I enjoy French toast for breakfast. They offered cheesecake stuffed French toast or all bran crusted. I decided on the latter. I also had sausage links before heading out on my day. It wasn’t the normal grease filled sausage. I was pleased with the quality and taste of my breakfast. When I’m back of the Fera by Doubletree in Orange, CA, I’ll come here again
Well, I normally don’t expect much from hotel restaurant breakfast, but this place was actually pretty darn good. I got the peel breakfast, and my husband got the pancakes. Both were very good, especially the pancakes. We shared, so those two were a good combo. We had great customer service from Genaro. We came here around 6:45am on a Sunday and it was not busy. Breakfast was served fast. Overall, I do recommend stopping her for breakfast before heading over to Disneyland.
Great little restaurant near the pool at the doubletree , quick walk from orange outlet. If you have a. Electric car park at the hospital parking lot with the fast dc charger (additional parking charge to access the charger in the ground level of the parking deck ). It’s a couple blocks away. Nice cocktail 🍹 menu and the poke bowl was good,
Outstanding breakfast, prompt and polite service, and a nice view. I can't say enough how speedy and efficient the wait staff are along with the quality and delicious breakfast options. Great coffee too!
The food was good and I was able to get a last minute reservation. Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Free 2 hour valet parking if you can't find parking.
FANTASTIC food. Every. Single. Dish. We will go here to eat next time we are anywhere in Anaheim.
Nice hotel bar, service not great but a good spot for a small bite and a drink.
Great place to socialize with friends and family. Great service, friendly staff, great craft drinks, and plates.
Often hotel restaurants are a little mediocre regarding food quality. Not this one...great food here!
Omg i loved this place Amazing kudos to the mixologist the drinks were AMAZING !!! BEST COCKTAILS EVER
Awesome
Good choice for travelers. Both food and service were great
Fun!
Perfect date night spot! Food was delicious & we then enjoyed some drinks outside. Craft beer options were a little limited but still good though (can't go wrong with Karl strause). Inside temperature in the hotel/restaurant was very cold though (being in the winter). Was much more comfortable being outside. Many thanks!
Some girlfriends and I came here for a birthday and had the loveliest time! Dylan was our server, he was excellent! The food is spectacular, the service is great, the atmosphere is cozy and chill. A super nice spot.
A gem in the hotel industry. Usually I go in with little expectations for a hotel restaurant. This one is great not good. Had the wings and perfect. Mushroom flatbread was on point. You can tell they had a chef who uses quality ingredients and takes pride in his/her food. Recommend the pear salad with skuna salmon. Beets are soaked in this wonderful flavorful. Staff is really wonderful. Service with a smile, professional.
Enjoyed a wonderful evening. Great food and ambience. Food was delicious l. Highly recommend the fish tacos. Service was exceptional. Cecillio was very attentive and provided excellent service.
The food was superb. Dessert to die for was the lemon drop cheesecake. Our server Maria was magnificent.
The food was way better than I had expected! It was superb.
Great food, service, and atmosphere! My favorites were the brussel sprouts, fish tacos, and the dragon fly cocktail! Also loved our service from Maya and Grace!
I've dined here several times and have brought many different people here for different reasons: family dinner, birthdays, Valentine's Day (the live saxaphone player for this night was amazing). Everyone has always loved the food and service we get here. Found it on a whim one day, and we love that it's so close to us because it's also convenient. If you enjoy cocktails, they have unique options and all are delicious. Also, a beautiful outside area with seating, fire pits, and waterscape that you wouldn't expect to distract from the fact that it's on a busy street corner. But the design really does make it feel more oasis-like, and the water sounds help drown out street noise.
I had the pleasure of being served by Alejandro at The Peep Kitchen and Bar, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I sat down, Alejandro made me feel welcome with his warm personality and professional demeanor. His cocktail skills are top-notch — everything he made was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Alejandro clearly knows his craft, but what sets him apart is his genuine hospitality. He was attentive without being overbearing, gave great recommendations, and made the whole evening more enjoyable with his upbeat attitude. If you're visiting The Peep Kitchen & Bar, definitely grab a seat at the bar and let Alejandro take care of you. He's a true asset to the place and made my visit memorable. Can’t wait to come back!
Our waitress See was super sweet and super nice. She accommodated to all of my requests. I loved all the food, except for the chicken wings. Everything else was so delicious. The drinks alone were so good. There was a drink I had which was Como La Flor and it was dedicated to Selena because she actually stayed at the hotel. Standouts were the drinks, the dessert which didn't have a name on the menu and the Aguachile appetizer. I actually would like to come back here for a family gathering for private dining. The interior was cozy and very beautiful. I can't wait to go back.
Located inside the Hotel Fera. The space is on the main level in the back, and is very open and well lit. There seems to be a dope looking outdoor area with seating, fire pits, and more! BAR: The first thing you see is the big gorgeous bar. It’s a large square shape with seating on 3/4 of the four sides. There are TV’s on each side, a nice display of bottles behind the ba and above your head for decoration. DRINKS: They have an around 12 specialty cocktails featuring your standard spirits. The presentation on some of these is awesome, and there are more that I wish I could have tried. You can also order custom cocktails as they have a full bar. There are ~10 options for both red and white wines. There are also a couple sparkling options available. The cocktails we tried: -Como La Flor ($16.50) - This was really refreshing and wasn’t overly tart or bitter. It’s a beautiful purple color and served with a slice of grapefruit in the glass). -So Cal Sling ($16) - I was going between this and the Gene Autry, and our server recommended this one. The spirit flavor was there, but not overpowering. Another refreshing cocktail served in a highball style glass with a dried pineapple garnish. -The Fera ($16) - This was the replacement drink for one that was sent back. The display on this one is fun with some cucumber slivers on a skewer. She said it was crisp and delicious, and really enjoyed it. FOOD: We came with a small group of 3 and decided to order some dishes to share amongst us. We got: -Mediterranean Charcuterie Board (Spanish chorizo, prosciutto, capicola, salami, manchego cheese, point reyes cheese, brie cheese, pickled vegetables, olives, grain mustard, crispy baguette - $22) - This thing is loaded. Great value for the price, they definitely don’t skimp on the meat. I do wish there was more cheese, but the ones they included were very tasty. -Peel Fish Tacos (Mahi Mahi, sour orange adobo, corn tortilla, citrus, coleslaw, fire roasted tomato salsa, guacamole, lime, chipotle aioli, cilantro - $18) - They come with 3 per order. The fish is grilled, not fried, and has great flavor! -Crispy Brussel Sprouts (Balsamic, honey syrup, crispy onions, roasted shishito peppers - $13) - There was a lot going on here, but it worked! I liked the crispy onions on top, and don’t think I’ve ever had brussels with shishito peppers. Worth trying! -Tempura Cauliflower (Sweet chili BBQ sauce, sesame seeds, scallions - $15) - This might have been the favorite dish of everything we ordered. We ordered an extra side of the sauce, which was super flavorful. Would for sure order this one again! -California Hummus (Sundried tomato, cucumbers, niçoise olives, Temecula olive oil - $12) - I only had a few bites of this, but it was tasty. I don’t like olives, and it has little pieces of olive spread out on top, which I didn’t love. It comes with cute little soft pita pieces, though we added a side of tortilla chips ($4) to accommodate our GF friend. PARKING: There is a self-parking lot that is part of the hotel. You grab a ticket on the way in, and are supposed to get it validated before you leave. OVERALL: We came with a small group to celebrate a friend, and had a very nice time. We came on a Wednesday evening, and wasn’t busy at all. Just a few people at the bar and a few tables throughout the dining room. Our server, Bryan, was friendly and made recommendations on favorite / popular dishes. Our friend didn’t like one of the cocktails she ordered, and he happily replaced it without issue. I would definitely recommend coming to check out The Peel for some great cocktails and delicious bites! IG: @bbnem.eats
To be honest we didn’t realize this place was in a hotel lobby and almost left before when we arrived. We decided to sit outside on the patio next to the fountains and fire-pits and had a wonderful time. The charcuterie plate was really good and not your typical anemic meat and cheese plate. The drinks are very unique and while mostly on the sweet side , still very good. I wish the service was better, but I understand they just opened and figuring out how it’s all working. We will probably return !
This is a Beautiful place inside the Fera Double tree hotel. They are very serious about their craft cocktails, I thought I was just getting an old fashioned, but it was a show... They smoked out in a glass container which looked really cool (although it tasted like cigarette smoke and was quite difficult to drink. They did ask me if everything was okay and I said it was just because I was too busy talking to my cousin). My cousin also got a beautiful craft cocktail that was purple and pink with butterfly pea flower tea and grapefruit and delicious... and took 5 to 10 minutes to make also. Their drinks are elaborate and worth it (maybe just not the smokey one for me). Everyone was really kind and it was a beautiful bar :)
Believe it or not the the negative comment I have to report are with the chairs at the bar. WAY too heavy along with no felt sliders on the legs I almost couldn't move them, horrible design!
Pretty good stuff
Vraiment bons drinks et desserts ! Les portions sont généreuses.
A really nice hotel restaurant/bar less than 10 minutes from Disneyland. Came to meet up with some friends, none of us had been here before. We definitely were impressed by the clean stylish atmosphere of the place and the friendliness of the staff. It was a Friday night, maybe 6 table top, and half the bar was full. Drinks were solid, food was good. Oddly enough the staff seemed distracted, it took painfully long to get water, drinks, food, and bill. Maybe someone called out, or they hadn't implemented any processes yet. Regardless they were very friendly, and it didn't take away from the experience. Maybe be prepared to be a little patient and you'll enjoy yourself.
The Peel in Orange is an okay spot if you’re looking for something casual, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype. I tried their breakfast burrito, and while it was flavorful, the ingredients didn’t taste as fresh as I had hoped. The menu has a decent selection, but nothing really stood out as a must-try. The ambience is simple, but it felt a bit underwhelming compared to other spots in the area. It’s a decent place to grab a quick bite, but not somewhere I’d go to for a special outing. The service was friendly, but the wait time for food was longer than I anticipated, especially since the place wasn’t too busy. Overall, The Peel is just average. It’s not a bad option if you’re in the area, but there’s definitely room for improvement. I’d consider coming back if they made a few changes, but for now, it’s not my first choice
Hey folks, we ventured to a new spot in town. Ambiance: The place is clean and modern. Loved the look of the bar. However, the overall feel was a bit too plain for our taste. Drinks: My brother sampled the “Hat Trick” and enjoyed it, though a touch more duck fat might’ve enhanced it. I had the “Green Eyes” and found it lacking. Starters: The pepperoni flatbread reminded us of something you’d find at a kid’s party. On the plus side, the Korean wings had great flavor, but they weren’t served hot enough. Mains: My wife’s burger was somewhat dry, and the bun wasn’t up to par. The fried chicken sandwich my brother got was fine but not memorable. My tuna poke bowl was tasty, but I’d have loved a bit more rice. Ratings: • Food: Not bad ⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Drinks: Good overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Setting: Pleasant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Looking forward to our next dining adventure.
Its Very expensive for what you are going but the service , food and atmosphere is nice.
The place looks great but it's very slow and quiet. The drinks were very tasty but took a very very long time to come out. I'm talking 40 ish mins for the alcoholic drinks
Hotel lobby mid-food.
We stayed at the hotel and had breakfast here one time. First off, waited at the podium which stated , please wait to be seated. 2 staff members looked our way a few times and kept doing what they were doing. Finally a gentleman came over from the front desk area and sat us down. We were never brought anything to drink even though I asked multiple times, I had to take silverware from another table . When I wanted to order I had to ask the lady while she was putting something into the computer, she never came by and asked what we wanted. I did however really enjoy the eggs Benedict. Needless to say she did not earn a tip and we will not return due to poor service.
3 stars because of horrible super-heavy bar stools. The stools are comfortable but you can’t push them all the way in to sit comfortably and not at the edge of the seat…they get stuck on the floor and are too heavy to even grip the counter edge to help and push yourself in. Not even the guys can push them in. If you’re going to put some stools that don’t slide and are so heavy, at least put some that don’t have a back so you can sit on them climbing from the back
The food was not bad and I love how they decorated the restaurant. It's so pretty! Our waitress was so rude during the duration of our meal. Every time we would ask for something she would roll her eyes and gave us attitude. I think her name was Juliana.
Very cute interior. Perfectly fine for a quick bite for guests, but locals should avoid. Water tasted a bit odd. Food was overpriced even for a hotel. A banana is literally $6 as of March 2026. Food was fine.
It's really nice to sit outside Inside was freezing cold and some live music was way too loud for the room Servers are great!! Food eh...I ordered the Waygu "smash" burger which was neither Waygu or a smash burger, it was two frozen beef patties they tried to dress up and charge $25...I'd have been better off to walk across the street to Wendy's...at least I would have had fresh beef patties. So sad american corporate greed is destroying everything by cutting corners, disenfranchise the employees and customer for this quarter max profits...so sad, not to mention fraudulent advertising by serving something entirely different than what is on the menu...not even to mention the fries are subpar
Waited about 45 min for breakfast -- literally we both got egg dishes and they took that long to bring it to us and in that time the waiter did not come see us once until after the food had arrived, not even to say sorry for the delay. We saw him take our order, bring us our water and then we waited 45 minutes for a meal that was just okay. Meanwhile the older folks sitting next to us had their food 15 minutes into sitting down. Waste of time. Just eat at Disney.
Timeline of events: waited about 30 minutes to find a table for four. The person who showed us the table never wanted to serve us. No one showed up to take the order for the next 15 minutes before we walked out. The person who showed us the table immediately picks up the menus as soon as we leave.
Made reservation on open table. Got confirmation email and call. Came and they are not open. Very very bad. Can’t rate for food or atmosphere. But I can say the service is negative 5 stars. And never gotten an apology.
Food is okay. But the service definitely sucks. Prepare to waste one hour sitting at the table before they come to get your drink order.

# The Peel Craftbar and Kitchen: Un Epicentro de Sabor Artesanal en Orange, California
