Excelente lugar para ir a comer en este pequeño pueblo. Comida muy buena y el trato magnífico. El local está super bien ambientado y se está tranquilo.

Tengo que poner 5 estrellas porque comimos espectacularmente bien y la atención fue de 10. Pedimos tajín de pollo, pollo al curry con arroz y ciruelas y la crema o sopa de almendras, todo casero y muy bueno. El pan nos enamoró y la tarta de queso con yema quemada por arriba y el tiramisú son los mejores que hemos probado hasta ahora. Si algun día volvemos a la alpujarra repetiremos seguro.

Si quieres probar comida marroquí 100% hay que venir a este sitio. Te asesoran muy bien ya que los platos son grandes. Disfrutamos de su comida en cada bocado. Todo casero (incluido postres) y hecho con dedicación. Calidad/Precio inmejorable.

Lugar excelente que llevo conociendo desde hace años. Solo tengo palabras maravillosas para este lugar. La comida es casera ya que el dueño te explica como hacen todo con detalle y los ingredientes que tiene cada cosa. Se nota que lo hacen con cariño ya que buscan ingredientes unicos y de la mejor marca. Destacar la amabilidad de los camareros que siempre son muy atentos y amables. Mis recomendaciones son las siguientes: hamburguesas vegetales, hummus, falafel, tajine de cordero, tarta banoffe y tarta de dátiles y canela. Recomendable si vas por este pueblo.

Increible sitio con productos de proximidad y una comida excelente. Su olor es cautivador... Pasamos a tomar te y hemos tenido que volver a comer porque era impensable no hacerlo. 100x100 recomendable

Fue todo un descubrimiento en nuestro viaje a la Alpujarra. Se nota que el amor por la cocina es uno de sus ingredientes. Por no hablar del trato y la atención del dueño. Lo único que no me gusta es estar tan lejos para no poder ir a comer la pastela todas las semanas. Estaba todo ESPECTACULAR!

Comida árabe ESPECTACULAR. Más que una cena, es toda una experiencia. El personal de sala espectacularmente amable, un trato exquisito, la comida brutal... De los sitios más recomendables de Órgiva! Lo único a tener en cuenta: no hay cerdo, y no hay alcohol. Pero ninguna de las dos cosas son imprescindibles para disfrutar de esta experiencia gastronómica.

Una pasada. Súper tranquilo y perfecto para disfrutar de una buena cena relajadamente. Genial el trato por parte de todo el personal, muy amable, incluso recomendándonos alguna visita que no habíamos contemplado en La Alpujarra. Muchas gracias!

Un lugar fantástico para quien busque tranquilidad. Es perfecto para una comida o cena relajada. La comida es excelente, con un toque árabe muy auténtico. Se agradece mucho la gran cantidad de opciones veganas y sin gluten disponibles. Un detalle importante: no sirven alcohol, lo cual, en mi opinión, es genial y contribuye a ese ambiente de calma. ¡Un gran descubrimiento!

Great food choices, vegetarians well catered for along with meat eaters! I had the tofu curry, partner had the lamb couscous ....delicious and BIG servings. We took home dessert , again huge portions. Teramisou was divine!

I usually don't leave reviews but the food here was soo good. We had skewed chicken with rice and a honey sauce, the baba ganoush with salad, vegetable couscous as well as couscous with chicken, a hibiscus drink I don't remember the name of and rose latte. The service was great, waiters also spoke english and there's an english menu and they even let me change my dessert (I had the menu, highly recommend!) to a hot drink. Everything was so delicious. The chairs might not look like it but they're quite comfortable. The only thing we'd "criticize" would be that the couscous with chicken came with a huge portion of chicken which was too much but maybe just in our case. Oh there's also a lot of vegetarian and vegan options and a wide selection of teas.

Dobysaurus

Baraka is one of the best located cafe in Orgiva. Right on the junction in front of Guardia Civil, close to Orgiva Market, Library with free Wi-Fi and charging. The Food is really good and the place is a classic. All that said, it's also got some character, which means the waiters take their own time to get to you, which is okay because that's the speed of life. You can occupy the tables inside and be warm or be on the pavement in the morning sunlight and also be warm. Being outside lets you enjoy the passers by as well, and you might make some new friends! Beautiful art on the wall and I actually passed it by once while the artist Abu was painting on the gate. It's a timeless place which gets more and more special with time. So many wonderful memories!

Passing through town we stopped here for lunch. Chicken pita and falafel pita. Both perfecty spiced with lots of veggies. Dade cake as desert - delicious! The place has a very nice and friendly vibe.

Found this place online and through a recommendation. We ordered the vego couscous, falafel, chicken tagine, mint lemonade, carrot cake, cafe solo and one of the infusion teas. Absolutely loved it. Normally I complain about sweet things (i.e.: prunes, fruit) being in my savouries, but I was willing to be challenged. They had it so well balanced in the couscous. They arguably serve the best falafels in Spain. The carrot cake was great too with cream cheese frosting and chocolate in harmony with a light sponge. Staff was so welcoming. Our waiter in particular spoke English, Spanish and Arabic. They also have a little corner for gifts or consumables - we bought some of their speciality olive oil. Can't wait to try.

What a wonderful wonderful find!! Saying in Orgiva on a cycle training camp I wasn't exactly enthralled with the vegan options and then I stumbled across this wonderful spot. Sitting outside enjoying a falafel wrap on the spring sunshine turned out to be an unexpected highlight of the whole trip. Super helpful, friendly staff. I'll most definitely be back.

Posee unas cuantas mesas en el exterior, y un interior no muy grande. Acogedor que te traslada a marruecos auténticamente! Todo en comida típica árabe, con carta amplia y gran variedad. Platos abundantes y buenos. Nosotros pedimos un tajín que estaba expendido y decidimos acompañarlo con unas patatas fritas. Poseen también te moruno y variedad en batidos. Precio moderado, es cierto no es barato, pero está todo bien servido. Servicio bueno, atento, rápido y eficaz.
