My family come here every year for my dad's birthday and it's a phenomenal experience that everyone should try atleast once in their lifetime. The food is fantastic, the staff are lovely and incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is like no other restaurant you will visit in Spain. Brilliant, great for the entire family - bring your appetite!

The restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with both outdoor seating and indoor air-conditioned options. The environment is impeccably clean, spacious, and the service is outstanding. Our drinks and starters arrived promptly, and everything was perfect. The garlic cheese bread was generously portioned, almost like a whole pizza, while the empanadas were substantial enough to be a meal on their own. The calamari was also excellent. When the main courses arrived, we were thoroughly impressed. We ordered a filet, a 12oz Argentine cut, a full slab of ribs, the daily special, and milanesas. The waiter was attentive, ensuring that the steaks were cooked to our satisfaction and offering to adjust the doneness if needed. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. As a visitor from the United States dining with four Norwegians, we all agreed that this place is fantastic.

A beautiful and delightful restaurant in a lovely setting. A wonderful gentleman singer provided lively entertainment. Friendly waiters who kindly spoke English and were so polite. My partner and I had a different steak each and both were delicious, cooked to perfection. Mine was served with dauphinois potatoes and a red wine jus and was so scrumptious, I ate every bite. Dessert was very average (brownie and ice cream / banoffee pie) but didn’t take away from the delicious mains. Would be nice to have a cocktail menu but they’re not short on spirits and wines. Loved it overall and would return.

We actually only tried the starters - they all looked so good. Ordered 4 of them, and they were all good. Also had good sangria. Kids picked from the kids menu and were all happy. Reasonable prices and service was fine. Everyone spoke good English. Some peddlers pushing their wares outside.

Managed to get a walk in table on a Friday night which was fabulous, I came back to this restaurant as this is no doubt the best steak I’ve ever had! The George V special steak I can’t recommend enough - lovely restaurant!

Succulent steak. Delicious. Perfectly cooked to my liking. Great value on Thursday. Only thing I could criticise is wine per glass. I would pay couple pounds more for a perfect glass of wine with my meal. However the quality of steak is second to none. Fab.

We've been going to Che for 14 years and it's still THE best steak house in Orihuela Costa. Excellent food and great service. Martin and the team make everyone welcome. It's perhaps a little more expensive but well worth it. Highly recommended. Visited 15/10/22: steaks were as good as always but the menu has shrunk, prices have increased and the set menu options are no more. The 8oz filet with a pepper sauce is now €27.95 but its excellent & still good value.

It's been some time since we had Sunday lunch at Che, but it won't be so long again. Great service and food. How they do it for that money I don't know. Three courses for ten euro Inc tax! In those surroundings and quality of food? 32 euro for the two of us including a bottle of house rose and a bottle of water, superb value. Well done Che.

I went on a Sunday when the menu is a traditional Sunday roast. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection and the waitress who served us always made sure we had what we needed. There are plenty of good bars nearby if you like to watch football or enjoy a beverage after.

Went to Ché on a cold Wednesday evening in March and the place was very busy so got a good feeling about the place from the get go. The menu is definitely aimed at carnivores. My wife and I both ordered the house speciality Fillet George V which came with mixed peppers and onions in a wine sauce and a side of dauphinoise potatoes. We partnered this a bottle Rivera del duero. The food was perfectly cooked the steak was very tender the knife practically fell though it. The wine was excellent. The service was outstanding, attentive, friendly and at a pace to suit each table.

We went here to celebrate my husbands birthday. The steaks were flavourful, tender and cooked to perfection! The staff was attentive and nice. Our party of five had a lovely time 👍

Amazing restaurant within a fabulous setting in Villa Martin Plaza. The food is great quality and I highly recommend the George V steak. The service is second to none and great value. I will be back again for sure! Best restaurant in the plaza!

The setting is great , the service was great, very attentive staff. l had a wonderful 12oz fillet cooked exactly to my taste, my wife had the 8oz fillet, we had a starter and a bottle of wine for under €100, it was worth every cent. We ate here on Saturday for my Dad’s 60th. We had a table reserved for 6 adults and 2 children and were seated a spacious table near the from window. My 9 month old nephew turned on the charm and got a lot of attention from the staff and we were served quickly throughout our stay but I’m sure we would’ve been without his cuteness. I ordered the cheesy garlic bread for starter to share with a couple of people as it is a full pizza and knew I’d need plenty of room for the mains. There was plenty of garlic and mozzarella which made for a Good garlic bread but the bottom of the pizza base was slightly burnt in places so probably just needed a minute or two less. It was by no means inedible and we all enjoyed it and it was easily finished so nobody had any issues with the base. For my main I ordered the Shoulder of Lamb which was definitely the star of the show. The lamb is not for the faint hearted as it’s absolutely massive but it’s definitely not quantity over quality as this had both quantity and quality in abundance. The skin was nice and crispy and the lamb was succulent, juicy and full of flavour. I love lamb but it can be a chore to eat if not cooked well but this was cooked to perfection and a pleasure to eat. The potatoes were well cooked and fluffy, the sauce was very tasty and a nice addition. The others on my table really enjoyed their steaks but I feel the lamb will be very tough to beat and I’d struggle not to get the lamb again when we next return. Great food and service, I’d highly recommend.

Y sobre todo la atención de Paula y Hanna, chicas súper atentas y dispuestas a hacerte pasar una velada maravillosa. El restaurante tiene un ambiente acogedor pero creo que sin la atención de todo el staff, sobre todo éstas dos dulces chicas, nada sería lo mismo. Le pongo 5 estrellas porque se lo merecen!!! Súper recomendable!!

Absolutely fabulous food and great service! A little bit on the pricy side of the plaza but it’s definitely worth the money, portions are a perfect size and all food amazing. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean, definitely recommend!

We had an amazing meal here on a Monday evening. We booked via WhatsApp and was sorted very quickly. The restaurant is so classy and smells amazing when you walk in. The waiting staff were all very smiley and polite and can't do enough for you. Not a massive menu but great choice of steaks. We had 2 fillets and 2 George V steak dinners and they were all amazing. Cooked to perfection and the waitress asks you to cut your steak before you dig in which is a good touch. We had 2 starters before that and there was enough garlic prawns for 2 people but beware they are spicy too. The broccoli and cheddar soup was so good on a cold January evening..we even pushed the boat out and all had desserts which were all superb also. 2 bottles of house red at 12 euro a bottle was the perfect accompaniment and great value too. Highly recommend although probably as a special occasion as a treat!

The table we were seated at was exactly to our asking and the food was phenomenal. Steaks were cooked to our liking and the service was first class; a notable nod to our server, Emmet, he left no stone unturned in our requests and was very amiable and ultra professional at the same time. Walked by this place for a number of years without realising they do a Sunday 3 course set menu for 8.90 Euros + 10% IVA, which represents tremendous value for a plaza restaurant. They only advertise the Sunday on Sundays and we only found out when a friend said they were going there. Both the Pate and Mushroom starters were excellent 9/10 & 10/10. The Roast Beef was A generous portion and the Lamb Shank (modest 1 Euro extra) was very nice, both 10/10. Excellent gravy as well. The Apple Crumble and Coconut & Caramel pie were both 10/10. Service was very quick and efficient. We will definitely be returning! :-))

Dit is een keten in Spanje zoals je hier de pizza hut hebt. Dus je vindt deze vaak in populaire winkelcentra. Het eten is "gewoon" lekker. Zeer vlotte bediening en vriendelijk personeel. Qua prijsklasse zou ik gemiddeld zeggen, dit omdat ik prijs en kwaliteit met elkaar afweeg. Het is wel de typische Argentijnse keuken, ook de dessertkaart.

Great food. A little on the pricey side. Service was good but a little haphazard, to be fair, I think there were 2x new waiters. Had the place been busier, I don't think they would have coped. But we all had a great evening. There was a lot of us.

Bereits bei der Reservation haben wir 1.5 Tage gewartet bis wir eine Rückmeldung hatten, gekllappt hatte es trotzdem nicht. Wir hatten es aber per Telefon und Whatsapp mehrere Male versucht. Während dem Essen war der Service ok, aber eher unfreundlich.

Always best to book this very popular restaurant. We got in early but it wasn't long before it filled up. The service was very warm and welcoming and staff couldn't do enough to please. The atmosphere was very warm and cosy. It can get a bit noisy but that could be a sign of good food and people having a great time. We had the paella, ribs and steak which were all delicious. The deserts were massive. The only vice was a very weak and watery espresso which had no crema on top.

Pleasant enough surroundings but the food is not brilliant just average. The peas were cold though they had been cooked (boiled) and the chips were not very good (from frozen) and the chimichurri sauce tasted odd. The steak is not bad though. I also had cheesecake for sweet which was filled with sponge presumably to pad it out. Compare this with los granainos in Torrevieja and it's leagues behind. Not sure I will want to repeat the experience but there were a fair few diners on a mid week in Villamartin in the weeks before Xmas when it is v quiet so it is popular - might just be me then!

Nice area but the food was a bit disappointing especially for the price. The steak looked rather aneamic which was strange, not a nice red fir a rare steak. They made us cut into the middle to check it was cooked right which was annoying and strange! In no country have I been asked to do this, it was overcooked for both of us but neither of us felt comfortable saying so as the meat wasn't the red we are used to. Chips weren't nice so left them, peas cold and the inch of corn wasn't nice, reheated maybe. The starter was OK, we wouldn't go back to eat at any of the plaza restaurants unfortunately but always busy so they are doing something right.

Jeg hadde større forventninger til denne restauranten, spesielt når det gjelder mat og tilbehør. Hyggelig betjening, og maten var forøvrig pent anrettet. Biffen var stekt for mye ut i fra det som var ønsket, betjeningen var da rask med å ordne ny biff som var mindre stekt (medium rare og ikke medium pluss). Syns det var lite smak, både på kjøttet og tilbehøret. Saltet ble mye brukt. Vinen var svært god og passet forøvrig perfekt til kjøtt. Vil prøve en annen biffrestaurant neste gang.

Hyggelig betjening og grei service. Maten kom i store porsjoner og var pent anlagt. Dessverre var ikke maten like god som forventet. Lite smak og saltet ble hyppig brukt.

Für die Umgebung, die mich persönlich überhaupt nicht anspricht, ist die Küche und das Ambiente in diesem Restaurant wirklich gar nicht mal so schlecht! Um den Abend mit einer Gruppe oder zu zweit zu verbringen ist es hier perfekt. Tipp: Es heisst man solle als Dessert den Apfelstrudel bestellen, es dauert zwar 30 Minuten. Decided to return to restaurant this year as we were satisfied last time a few years ago. Decided to go with the set menu. Starter (salad) and main meal (chicken with soft vegetables) was good. The chocolate brownie for desert was not something one would expect in a restaurant, as it was completely dry and crumble like. Desert was returned without any comments from the restaurant Decent service during our stay Lifting the rating to 3 stars as we were more satisfied on our previous visit

Middelmatig. Relatief duur voor de kwaliteit. Binnen erg gehorig. Bediening matig vedienende dame was erg luid en kwam daardoor onvriendelijk over. De heer was veel prettiger.

Alors c'est vrai on vous sert beaucoup de petits bouts de viande divers, mais franchement la qualité de celle-ci est très moyenne. Ça ne vaut pas les 40 € par personne avec la boisson et un dessert. Sinon le personnel très accueillant mais c'est cher pour l'Espagne.

Really disappointed. Steak looked anaemic and strange. We were asked to cut into the middle of the Steaks when served to make sure they were cooked to order, they were both overdone but felt put on the spot and just said fine as he stood and watched! We eat a lot of steak and this was wierd. Wine was nice but the food wasn't. We won't be going back. I don't get the other reviews raving about it, living here the plaza is very over rated and expensive for what it is, maybe more appealing for tourists.

Have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years and it was always the most expensive restaurant in Villamartin plaza but was worth it for the quality of food and service but I have to say the expierence tonight left a lot to be desired! We were sat next to the door but virtually ignored for most of the meal, constantly asking to clear plates for a dessert menu , for our next drink when they were empty and to top it off the manager was inappropriately putting her hands under her waiter boyfriends top in front of paying customers while service was ongoing. This explains the lack of attentiveness we received from the manager who was serving our table. I would hope that the owners will work to redeem their very good name but as it stands they have lost a group of 20 year long customers and it’s a complete shame. I so wish I didn’t have to write this but I do hope it makes you improve your service.

Food factory, one focus - have as many customers through in the shortest time. Don't expect top quality. Neither do they upsell even when glasses are empty.

There was 3 of us there on Sunday night Fillet steaks weren’t up to much thin and very chewy pepper corn sauce was really nice tho

Went on Tuesday evening, service was good but have had the worst case of food poisoning ever, haven't been able to get out of bed apart from numerous trips to the bathroom. Still vomiting 24 hours later.

Skuffende opplevelse, styr unna.. Virker som alle ansatte er byttet ut det siste året, da dette ikke lignet på den samme restauranten vi har vært på flere ganger før. Vi var en gjeng på 3 voksne og 5 barn som spiste Biff og nuggets. De voksne spiste fillet steak medium+. Da vi fikk servert maten var biffen brent og lignet på en sko såle. Potetene var vassen og under stekt. Etter at alle hadde spist og drukket opp satt vi å ventet 30 minutter uten å få kontakt med en eneste kelner, til slutt reiste vi oss for å gå, da var det en kelner som tok tegnet og kom løpende. Da fikk vi bedt om å få betale, vi ble ikke tilbudt desserten som var inkludert i alle barnemenyene før vi fikk regningen. Anbefaler ikke denne restauranden. Biffen koster også €27 per pers. (det er den over hode ikke verdt slik den serveres nå!!)

Had 8oz fillet could only eat half of it as other half was full of fat the lazania my wife and mom had was tasteless my dad had the same as me but his was okay. Our waitresses was lovley but unfortunately it was the worst steak iv ever had

DREADFUL, DISGUSTING 06/11/23 obviously chefs night off, no self respecting chef butterfly's fillet steak, and when you send it back because its undercooked puts it in the MICROWAVE, the chips were also undercooked, all in all an extremely poor experience, and no staff to be seen to draw it to their attention. Didn't even question why I left it, or when eventually asked at the 'finish' was everything OK, I said no. Won't be going there again.

We were with 5 and before we were seated menus were already distributed. We asked for some time between starter and main course. After finishing starter main course was served right away. Food was OK but this is a fastfood restaurant charging to high prices. In one hour we were at home. What an awfull experience 😏

2 av oss bestilte entrecôte. Ingen smak på kjøttet, det var overstekt enda vi påpekte vi ønsket rare-medium. Dårlig krydret, hverken salt el pepper. Men verre var at dette antagelig ikke var entrecôte da d ikke var noe fett i kjøttet, og det smakte ikke i nærhet. Så tror de serverte mørbrad som entrecôte. French frites la de under biffen så den var helt bløt! Det ble servert med erter og en 5 cm lang maiskolbe. Serveringen var stressende, 5 forskjellige kelnere kom til bordet vårt- veldig rotete. Hun som tok bestilling kom ikke tilbake for å sjekke om vi var fornøyd. Manageren vi klagde til var en ung kar, kjølig og lite oppriktig mottakelig. En dårlig opplevelse på alle måter. Returnerer IKKE.

Afgelopen zomer heerlijk gegeten, nu vandaag met 6 personen gegeten. Maar helaas was t vandaag niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar. De spare ribs waren rauw, de biefstuk had een lever smaak en was te ver doorgebakken. De rest bestond uit vooral vet en bot echt zo zonde!!!) We hebben dit aangegeven maar er kwam geen reactie op alleen o oké sorry. Sorry maar voor ons niet een derde keer.

bestilte entrecôte, tørr og smakløs. Ikke verd prisen. Skuffende.

It was going fantastic then some off are meal never turned up but the food tasted like your nan on a Tuesday but other then that it was great
