Very good experience, came here after a very long day at Universal Studios, food was great, the guacamole mixed at the table was amazing. The East-West Margarita was perfect. Highly recommend, would definitely go back?

We loved Antojitos. This is our second time at Universal, but we didn’t have a chance to try this restaurant the first time we were there. We were looking for somewhere fun with a nice atmosphere for our kids to enjoy and this one came recommended. We loved everything about this place, including the atmosphere, live music, The very tasty food, including the guacamole they make table side, and the service was top notch. We don’t eat pork and they went above and beyond to ensure that our food wasn’t even cooked in the same cookware used for pork and were very accommodating. Katherine, our waitress was just the sweetest person. So nice and attentive and very genuine. We will definitely come back again.

Papa Quac, aka Richard was phenomenal. We sat at the bar and Mike was incredible. Tableside quancamole and wine at the bar was a perfect way to spend an hour or so killing time. Thanks gentlemen! Cheers!

I was very impressed with this restaurant dispite the reviews. The freshly made guacamole Dip made right in front of you telling them what to add was great. The portions were huge. The chips are gluten-free and done in a dedicated frier so no cross-contamination. 100% the best Mexican food in Orlando with many options for gluten allergy or red meat allergy. I had the chicken Nachos the plate was huge I couldn't eat it all. The were about to have live music before we left. If you come the universal after 6pm the parking is free otherwise its 35 dollars to park before that time. We decided to eat dessert later after all the food. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely Would I return? Absolutely Definitely give it a try if you have gluten-free or celiac. They take it seriously.

Antonio's Authentic Mexican Restaurant is a great spot for tacos and Mexican food for a decent price (at Universal Studios City Walk). We got the Birria tacos ($25) and Enchilada plate ($25), chips and salsa are complimentary. For two people that was a filling amount of food to share. Drinks are pretty pricey, so if you want to drink be prepared to spent $15-$20 per drink. Totally worth it all though!

Antojitos is an excellent spot to experience truly authentic Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere feels genuinely vibrant — colorful décor, lively energy, music, and a style that instantly transports you right into the heart of Mexico. We walked in and immediately caught that amazing, flavorful vibe. The food is rich, bold, and full of authentic spices and textures. Portions are generous, presentation is great, and the service is warm and friendly. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about creating a memorable guest experience. A place worth visiting — and returning to. Five stars

Food was exceptionally delicious. Our sever Juan was friendly and quick service even on Christmas Day!! Food was delivered quick and hot! All the food reminded us of being in Mexico. Definitely recommend. We will be back!

Excellent service from Yandiel. Nachos and queso - delicious. Lemonade - perfect. Free refills. Delicious burritos. Very filling. The food photos do not do the food justice. Fresh ingredients. Very good good. Nice atmosphere. Live music. Good value. Highly recommend!

Dec 2025. We headed out of the park for an early supper and returned to the place we enjoyed here in 2018 with Andrea and James. The table Guacamole was so good 5 years ago, the 3 of us wanted to share it with Sarah and Normand on the trip.

Went last night for dinner and made sure we got there before the dinner rush. Last time (3 years ago) we tried eating here and the wait was over an hour long. Now that we've had the opportunity, we were able to see why the wait was so long. They give you plenty of chips and salsa while you wait for your food. Nothing deceiving either and it was mentioned early and brought out with our drinks. The menu is not vast by any means but they have options that should cater to most people. Even my son who is a picky eater found something. He ordered the steak quesadilla and eaten every bit of it. My wife order the beef birria tacos and she loved them. I order the chile relleno and it was prob one of the best I've ever had. I love that they use Oaxaca cheese in a lot of there dishes as that's my favorite. Being at the City Walk and next to 2 major attractions, I felt the pricing was fair. Keep in mind this is not your neighborhood Mexican restaurant back home. Service was good and no part of our experience did we feel we waited too long for anything. If we ever have the opportunity, we'd definitely return.

I’m a Universal Passholder and I’ve been coming to Antojitos for a long time — the experience has always been great. But today, Chloe from Manhattan, New York truly made the visit exceptional. She prepared our guacamole and took the time to explain all the ingredients. It was the best guacamole we’ve ever had since we started coming to this restaurant.

What a cool place. The outside atmosphere and environment, with plenty of seating of its own, draws you right into a spacious, two story, indoor dining area. The hostests and servers alike were extremely pleasant, prompt, and helpful. The drinks were wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious and very well portioned. If you have time at city walk, definitely go here.

The food is absolutely amazing, from the nachos to the tacos to the fajitas and more. I’m gluten sensitive and they have many options for that. Alberto was a stupendous waiter, checking up and refilling drinks very well.

I would give a million stars if I could... this place has it ALL and does it ALL. (Awesome spot for VEGETARIANS) Absolutely everything about the food was fresh, crisp, tasty and flavourful. Not a single complaint regarding the taste or presentation of the food. I went with a large group of 6 people and not a single person had a complaint. The salsa and chips they give complimentary to start with are SO fresh. I’ve never had salsa that taste that light, airy and refreshing. The environment was delightful as well. They had a live performance playing authentic music and instruments. It was extremely enjoyable and fun. The seating is picturesque and the environment is as well. The restrooms were very clean also. (Everything pictured below cost a total of roughly $38! What a steal if you ask me!)

This was the most delicious Mexican food I've had. It was very fresh - they make the guacamole at your table. And the Margaritas are delicious. My Blood Orange was very refreshing. My husband loves his Homemade Like Margarita as well.

Food was great! Drinks were amazing!! But the best was the service we received from Sanaa (I hope I remember her name well). We came after spending a whole day at the park. We were a big party with kiddos and received incredible service and attention.

Had an absolutely fantastic dining experience and the food was awesome! Great restraunt for authentic Mexican dishes with a menu that has something for everyone. The bartenders can make any drink you desire and the have a huge selection of beers and wine to fulfill your beverage desires. Atmosphere here is amazing with live entertainment and the staff go out of their way to ensure you have the most memorable experience possible. Highly recommend giving them a try and reservations are encourage to ensure you don't have to wait to enjoy this restraunt.

We had a wonderful experience. The food had so much flavor, our server, Jeremy, was attentive our entire visit, and the atmosphere was great. Wish we would have done the table-side guacamole...I guess that means a second visit soon.

After a very long day at the parks, we went here to eat. Our waiter Mike was phenomenal. He asked about allergies and was not only knowledgeable about what out children could or couldn't have but he made sure to make sure throughout the night the allergies were still watched and accomodated. The tableside guacamole, the queso and the meals were delicious. We knew it was going to be expensive with being on City Walk but it was worth it and we had a great time.

Hey what can i say. It’s a place on city walk, so is it Michelin Star? No. Authentic Mexican…. More like Tex-mex. But the food was great, service from Saik was spectacular, and the vibes were on point. Totally recommend if you need a spot off your resort to grab a bite!

The BEST food experience since our trip this year. Service, food & atmosphere our server Emily V. was phenomenal such a delight could tell she loves her job and knows her job. Drinks were AMAZING as well. The manager Ali was just as amazing.

The Gluten Free service here was above and beyond. Our server was fantastic and fully knowledgeable. After I placed my fully GF order, she still got it "approved" by the chefs, which was awesome. It came out clearly marked as 'allergy'. The Atmosphere here is very cool, with a large stage, and live music. Everywhere you look is vibrant and fun true to universal nature!

I was here 3 weeks ago and I got to say I loved it! I'll admit that service was a bit slow in the beginning but towards the end of the night we had 2 people checking in on us so I imagine that there was some confusion, which is understandable since table spacing is weird due to the pandemic. That said I absolutely loved it here. Truthfully I didn't want to go out that night but my GF kind of forced me to and I don't regret it at all. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic, and they make a decent mojito-- though I ordered a ginger mojito but they gave me a regular one. Like I said service was slow in the beginning and I didn't feel like making the correction. The food however was on point, both the fajitas and tacos were delicious. What made the night perfect however was the live music, I was not expecting it definitely put me in that "vacation mood". I never once felt anymore at risk for COVID19 than I do during my normal day-to-day at home so I think they did an excellent job with spacing tables, wearing PPE, and the overall cleanliness of the place. When I return to Orlando I will be back!

Excellent service and food, outstanding experience! We reserved a table and were seated right away on a busy fourth of July evening. Our server was quick and courteous, she kept our table clear and glasses full. The giant bowl of chips and salsa were a welcome sight, as was the live guitarist on stage. The beef tamale was served in a unique way but was delicious. Cadillac Margarita did not disappoint! Of all of the Mexican restaurants in Orlando this one without a doubt is my favorite!

M

I thought the food here was really really good. The table side guacamole was the best I’ve ever had and I loved the street tacos. I ordered the chicken and it had a ton of flavor and it was a perfect portion. I had the Blood Orange Margarita as well and it was great. It is very pricey, but to be expected for location. It’s also really loud I’m there. I loved our server and I also appreciated them filling up the delicious chips!

Everything was excellent. We came only for a small bite, some tamales and taquitos, and both dishes were very good. Table nachos with salsa were incredibly flavourful. Interior is well done and they have dancers on the stage every so often. Staff were laid back and friendly.

We had a fantastic experience at Antojitos thanks to Katherine, Zolay and Austin! They were all incredibly friendly, fast, and attentive from start to finish. Our drinks were all spectacular, the food came out quickly, and they checked in just the right amount without being overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about providing great service. Huge thanks to the entire team for making our visit such a pleasant one. we’ll definitely be back!

Our server, Rachel, was absolutely incredible!! She was so kind and attentive. She checked in multiple times and made sure we were having the best time possible. She recommended dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed and she had a vast understanding of the menu. We will definitely return and be sure to ask for Rachel!

Great ambiance with authentic mexican dishes. We received complimentary warm chips and salsa which was fresh and tasty! We also had the Esquites and the Sopa de tortilla. Both were fantastic! Ask the server for their spicy sauce (not on the menu)... It was really good. Put it on everything! For dinner we had the Birria and Campechano tacos, Guisado and Chicken Quesadillas! All of the dishes were excellent! Our server Jeremy was very attentive and friendly. He gave us a great suggestion about the Blood Orange margarita.. Get it tajin rimmed vs salt or sugar! Must try!!!

Best place to eat in City Walk! I don’t know why the avg reviews aren’t higher! We r foodies and it was great quality and delicious! Not loud even though they have lovely live music. Are able to seat large parties— we were 10 ppl—Was a great experience all around!

Food was delicious they gave us a lot of chips and salsa. They made the guacamole in front of us which was cool. They had a guitarist playing which was amazing. The chicken nachos I highly recommend. Very high energy place with amazing food highly recommend.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Antojitos Mexican Restaurant! The atmosphere was truly amazing, creating a vibrant and lively ambiance that enhanced the overall dining experience. The food was outstanding—full of flavor and authenticity that made every bite a delight. While the food and atmosphere were exceptional, I'd recommend making reservations in advance. The wait time was a bit longer than anticipated, but it's definitely worth it. Plus, the anticipation only heightened my excitement to try their dishes. A highlight of the evening was definitely the table-side guacamole. It's an absolute must-try! The interactive experience of watching it being prepared right in front of you adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. Overall, Antojitos Mexican Restaurant is a gem for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and table-side guacamole make it a place that's worth visiting again and again. Just remember to plan ahead and make those reservations for a seamless and unforgettable evening.

We have been here a few times before but had Tara serve us today and she completely transformed the experience, the best server I have ever had! So cheery, knowledgeable and attentive. We had table-side guacamole and chimichangas and they were excellent as usual. Thank you Antojitos and Tara!

Had a great experience here! Food, service, and vibe were all very good! Ordered Chicken Fajita Skewers, & Chicken Tacos, and both were served hot, tasty, and QUICK! The chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. The only thing that could've been better about the service was that the hostess said we needed a reservation when there seemed to be many tables available. It worked out because we sat at the bar and had exceptional service from Becca (who makes a mean Strawberry Mojito lol) and is a sweetheart, and Armanie who was also exceptionally kind and attentive. I had forgotten how good the service can be sometimes when you sit at the bar. I'm a Wedding and Event DJ based in Miami covering Orlando and other Florida Cities, but was a successful bar/nightclub DJ for years, and this cool duo made me miss my Bar DJ gigs! The dining room did seem busy right after Universal Studios had just closed for the evening, and there's often a rush then, so reservations are probably a good idea. This Mexican restaurant had a cool vibe unlike any other Mexican restaurant I've been to, including neon on the ceililngs outlining cool Mexican motifs, cool decor on the walls, and more (see pics). Chips were a little salty, but the made fresh daily salsa was very enjoyable to the taste buds. There's a live guitarist Sunday thru Thursday, and some type of dancers show Saturday and Sunday. There's another dining area upstairs. Highly recommend this cool restaurant in City Walk!

My husband and I came here in late 2024 and had the best time. The food was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices. The entertainment and vibe were such a bonus. We’re coming again in a week with our kids and family and are so excited to bring them here!

M
Meag McElvain

The server (looked like Leonardo DiCaprio) was awesome! He was very nice to the kids and he was very patient, kind and friendly. He had a great sense if humor. They had a live person that played classical guitar and it was a wonderful surprise. The food was not as expected. I had the chimichanga and I didn’t like the red sauce, it had too much of a smoky flavor to it. The margaritas were delicious not too strong not too weak. The atmosphere was very calming and authentic to the Mexican heritage.

We actually ended up here bc the place we originally wanted to go to for dinner was closed… but honestly, it must have been meant to be because we had the BEST tacos authentic Mexican food we had ever eaten here! The atmosphere was fun with some live music, the restaurant didn’t feel too crowded, the chips and salsa were bomb, and we didn’t order it, but they do table side guac too which is super cool! We decided to order a ton of tacos and got the pollo, al pastor, and of course the birria… and WOW were we absolutely blown away!!! Aside from the food being 100/10, our server, Kenn, was INSANELY pleasant and incredible at his job!!! We’d come back just to see him lol! He had a fun and outgoing attitude, walked us through the menu thoroughly (we didn’t even ask!), answered all our questions, and ensured we were well taken care of during our entire dining experience! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and meal! We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Place is amazing. Food absolutely blows any other “authentic” place OUT OF THE WATER. Service was amazing even though food took a long time to cook. Atmosphere was great, guy playing music on stage and everyone had a good time.

I need to start by explaining that I'm very picky about where I sit. I always request booth seating because I usually find that more comfortable than regular tables. I didn't realize this restaurant has very few booths and they are usually reserved for larger parties, and it was just my husband and me. The host brought us to a table with hard chairs and we asked to wait for a booth, but he couldn't accommodate us. So we decided to leave because if we're going to spend money eating out we like to relax in a comfortable seat. Anyway, on our way out we talked to Elizabeth and she was very kind to find us a booth when one became available. While we waited we sat at the bar, and I had a blackberry margarita that was delish! Once we got a table we ordered table side guacamole which was the best guacamole I've ever had, it was amazing! Then my husband got the chimichanga and I had the enchiladas, and both were so delicious! Jeremy was our server and he was awesome! Anyway, I was so impressed by the drinks, food and service that I would like very much to go back again soon. However, because it's do hard to get a booth for only 2 people I'm not sure if we will. Thank you to Elizabeth and Jeremy for a great dining experience and I hope if we come back that we can sit at a booth again because the food really was so good.

Vegan - very good vegan tacos, cooked well and the pinto beans were actually the best part. The table made guacamole was a nice bonus as well bc you can customize however you like. The vegan tamales came with cold food in the middle so not good but they did take it off the bill which was nice. Everything just needed salt tbh.

We sat at the bar. We didn’t go upstairs where they have additional seating. Very spacious indoor place with some outdoor seating. Loud. They had Spanish singing and dancing entertainment. We ordered beer and shared a chimichanga which tasted good. The chips and salsa were a very large portion and delicious, I’d return just for the chips and salsa. Overall, very good ambiance.

A
Alex Lawhorne

The food is reliably decent here. I've never had anything that was bland or felt overpriced (relative to what you'd expect in CityWalk). There's usually bar seating and the staff is fairly attentive, which makes this a solid choice to keep in mind when you're thinking of where to go after you're done at the theme parks.

J
John West

I sat at the crowded bar to dine. I quickly greeted by a friendly bartender. I ordered a margarita which was made and served promptly, along chips and salsa. The margarita was not all that good and seemed to lack much alcohol. It tasted weak and a bit too sweet, in my opinion. I also found the chips to be a bit stale and the salsa lacked flavor and seasoning. My Cobb Salad, however, was very good. I was most impressed with the Cobb salad so much so that I’m thinking of going back for another one before the end of my vacation.

Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food is a fantastic spot for a great meal and atmosphere. We sat outside, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and had great conversations over chips and salsa. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. We asked for some real heat, and our waiter brought us a habanero salsa that was absolutely wonderful. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with great flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this restaurant!

M
Michelle Bell49.2

This place was so cool. Awesome atmosphere was fun and festive. Solid food and the service was spectacular. We didn't have reservations, but they squeezed us in anyway. I 100 percent recommend the table side guacamole! I was slightly disappointed that they did not have any coffee, especially since it's on the menu. Other than not being able to get a cup of Joe, it was wonderful.

F
Francis

Overall we enjoyed our dinner here. The service was on the slower side but the place was packed. The staff were awesome and the atmosphere really nice with a live mariachi band. I do have to agree that the food is very much not authentic but the complimentary salsa that comes with the chips was very good. We did the tableside guacamole which was totally worth it. Super fresh and a pretty big portion. For the main we did the chicken fajitas for 2 which was a very big let down. The chicken was so bland and had no flavour whatsoever. Luckily we had the salsa and guacamole which saved it a bit. So next time come for drinks and guacamole but avoid the mains unless you like bland food!

Live music was too loud. Made the rest of the volume inside go up. Service was good. Chips and salsa and guacamole all good. Fajitas looked good but came with only 2 tortillas. Had to ask for more. Chicken burrito was good not huge. Good flavor, cheese covering the top looked and felt and tasted like Velveeta. Served with small portion of black beans and guacamole. Overall not too bad but not 5 stars. Granddaughter celebrated her birthday and they did nothing which was a little disappointing especially since she chose the place.

Second time at Antojitos and always a great experience. They feature live music performances and the show was great. The Mexican flavor profiles are quite exquisite. The drink menu is excellent as well.

*Food is good. Typically not my go-to food, but the family really enjoys it. *I've eaten here several times, and the quality and service seems consistent. *Our server this go around was Bethony, who was fantastic! *Wasn't expecting a live band, but that happened, which was cool. *Atmosphere is neat. *Nothing to complain about.

We ordered the chimichanga and the shrimp tostada. The shrimp tostada was literally one tostada and four shrimps for $15. The service was great, but the prices do not justify the tiny portions especially when there are so many Mexican food options here in Orlando.

E
Evan Easterday

Food and service was really good and they had some enjoyable live music for most of the time. Most of the food we got was delicious but the burrito I gotwas pretty bad which is why it's not 5 stars. It was bland, kind of cold, and overall just not great. Would highly recommend the table side guac as it tasted amazing.

We were very lucky to walk up and receive a table for a party of 6 at prime dinner time while smaller parties waited an hour. The atmosphere was festive, busy and loud. Service very fast, we ordered and had our drinks within 20 minutes, in addition to 2 huge baskets of tortilla chips and salsa. The shrimp mini tacos were delicious, as was the tuna. Decent margaritas. An 18% service charge was automatically added to our bill.

D

Great vibe and ambience, food was good too. Too much wait time because of rush in city walk, we had to wait 1.20 minutes for us to get the table. Liked Wild mushroom taco.

Service was great! To be more specific, Jean. He was our server and he was outstanding!! I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years and can honestly say that outstanding customer service is hard to find. Jean is a real gem! The decor of the restaurant is pretty cool, and food is just ok. We ordered tableside guacamole and it was very salty and it had too much onions in it. Room for improvement: The staff member who did the tableside guacamole (I can't recall his name, sorry) should pay more attention to clean the cart every now and then. It looked way too dirty.

N

We tried Mexican cuisine at Antojitos during our trip to Universal. The vibe of the place is nice with plenty of sitting space. The food however was not what we expected. The guac making experience was nice but it was not spicy enough for our taste. Enchiladas was okay as the sauce was not flavorful and it seemed the meat was not seasoned equally. It did lack the spark of enchiladas that we are used to. Drinks are offered at the place.

J
Jeff Willard Jr.

Overall a decent experience with great food and good service. We did have to ask for refills on our drinks. The food was hot and flavorful. There was a guitar player that provided a nice atmosphere. Would go back.

D
Daniel George

The food was inedible even for park food! It took 30 plus minutes to get our food. I got the Al pastor tacos which came on these small tortillas and cost $20 for 3 of them. The beans came in this sad little bowl and were cold which was crazy because after cooking they put it under a heat lamb because of how disoriented the kitchen was. It claims to be “ authentic Mexican food” which is just a plain lie. The Willy’s would’ve had better food then this.

A
Andrew Coniglio

This was a slightly disappointing experience as the food had a bit to be desired. Yes, it’s expensive but that is expected at City Walk but wish the food had some flavor to it. When eating Mexican you want some bold flavors but this lacked in pretty much every dish except the Table Side Guacamole. Nothing tasted bad, just nothing tasted great either. Service was okay, friendly but kinda slow. There are much better options to eat in City Walk and I would not return to this restaurant.

N
Naureen lalani

It was an overall good experience. The food was good; especially their Table-Side guac. It had a balanced spice kick and sourness; I loved it. However, their salsa and chips were okay. Chips were under fried and salsa lacked the flavor. The chicken of the fajitas were a little dry but it was flavorful along with the sides. Rice tasted good but the quantity of the sides were bare minimum; not enough for one person. Their fajitas don’t come with refried beans and rice.

Y
Yolie P (Yolie)

Tableside prepped guacamole was absolutely delicious. The rest was ok. Server made mistake in order, it wasn't corrected, but we ate the dessert 😅. Good place to unload after day in the parks.

S

Our experience at Antojitos was mixed. The atmosphere is colorful and lively, perfect for an amusement park setting, but a few things missed the mark. The complimentary basket of chips was stale, which was a disappointing start, though the tableside guacamole was fresh and delicious and helped turn things around. The bartender wasn’t very cheery, which stood out since you’d expect a more upbeat vibe in a theme park environment. The bigger issue came when our server lost our credit card. To their credit, management comped our dinner, but the delay affected our entire group — our friends, who were on a separate ticket, had to wait as well, and ideally their meals should have been covered too. On the bright side, the food itself was flavorful, and the tableside guac was a standout. Still, I’d give this visit a 4 out of 5 — some positives, but the service challenges took away from the overall experience.

A
Anthony Forehand

Food was good. The shrimp fajitas I had were really good. Our waitress was really awesome and the table we sat at outside was really nice. Couple others in our group didn’t care for their taco salads but overall our group enjoyed our food.

Not bad Mexican food, but certainly not amazing. I really can't imagine it's actually authentic. The chips were a bit stale, but everything else was pretty decent. Nothing really stood out though. Service was very friendly and attentive, but the food took a veeeery long time to come out. It didn't help that we were all starving from being in the park all day. Drinks took a very long time to come out too. There was one detail that helped however. City Walk restaurants tend to be very expensive. I was surprised at how cheap my bill was in comparison. We spent $100 (before tip) and we got two adult meals, one kids meal, an appetizer, and two cocktails. Not too shabby. If you're just looking for something better than fast food when you get out of the parks but you don't want to drop a ton of cash, Antojitos is a good choice.

We ate here on 5/3 and had a good time. Love the place itself and our server was phenomenal. He was not the reason for 4 stars. We ordered the table side guacamole and the server set up behind my wife so she couldnt really see what was going on. If you're going to do table side service, make sure it's personable and interactive. Our main courses were all good but nothing set them apart from other Mexican restaurants.

As always any place that states “authentic” completely americanized. The aguachile was made with cooked shrimp instead of raw. Al pastor tacos shouldn’t be served with cabbage etc. but the servers were the kindest and and amazing attention

Chloe was AMAZING! She was a complete professional while taking care of our 7-top table. The food was very good and we were all completely satisfied. The staff leadership was a bit picky about the handicap access but the service professionals, particularly Chloe and Jeff, mitigated their impact. Certainly recommend this location for your consideration.

Good food and drinks. Disappointed that we came here to celebrate a birthday, they don't do anything special, offered teo choices of desserts, when there were more than 2 choices. My son got a sliver (and I mean a sliver) if cheesecake and we were charged $12? Please don't offer people a birthday dessert and then charge an outrageous price for it.

If you need some solid food heading into Universal Studios, I wouldn’t suggest against going to this place. Everyone needs the classic rice and beans to get you through. And the beans did in fact slap. However – the Mojito had so much mint in it you could’ve told me it was a smoothie. Also, my friend is allergic to bell peppers and they unnecessarily had bell peppers in everything including the salsa. I know it’s technically her personal problem, but I think it was unnecessary to have bell peppers in salsa. I was really thankful that they did grilled shrimp tacos for me because there was no seafood taco options on the menu for some reason, but then two of my tacos came out with two shrimps and one of my tacos came out with only one shrimp. Can we even call that a shrimp taco? One would suggest it was a shrimp with a side of taco shell. Onto the things I did love. We ordered the guacamole and they brought a cart to the side of the table and it was a wonderful experience. Even when my friend took a video and turned on the flash, the server just smiled. There were also these babies with tattoos that I thought were really cool. And also, the mosaic tile sinks were really beautiful. I had to appreciate that. They need to decide on a singular color for all of their chairs though and also, I think it’s strange that the birdcages are only reserved for larger parties even when it’s slow. It’s just an odd flow to the restaurant. They also seated us directly next to a table of like 15 people, even though there was plenty of space elsewhere, but we moved ourselves, and it was no problem.

Antojotos Authentic Mexican food is a decent spot if you're in the mood for some casual Mexican cuisine. While it's not bad, it doesn't quite live up to the "authentic" label. The chips were a bit stale, which was disappointing, but the rest of the food was fairly decent. There wasn't anything that particularly stood out or wowed me. On the bright side, the service was very friendly and attentive, which added a nice touch to the dining experience. If you're looking for an extraordinary Mexican meal, this might not be the place, but it's a solid choice for a quick, casual bite.

We have eaten at most places in Universal and City Walk. We go every year for my daughter’s birthday but we’ve never tried here. I made a reservation for 6 and let them know it was my daughter’s sweet 16. The restaurant wasn’t busy or packed but they put us up against the kitchen with zero view against a back wall with 6 people at a 4 top table. They never said happy birthday which my daughter had a button on from Orlando informer and I had notified them prior. Overall the food was good but for the money the service was not reflective of anything we’ve experienced in universal or city walk before.

It was an ok place, live music when we were there, the staff was slow with service & it wasn’t even busy we were there about 1hr before closing so it should been better. The food was ok, I had the fajitas skewers (steak) a lot of the steak had lots of fat in it, seasoning was good though. I may consider going back to try something different.

Great atmosphere but this was not authentic Mexican food. Not bad though.

First of all the Spanish guitar player was fantastic and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was very good. The Cadillac margaritas were good, but the food left a lot to be desired. The beef fajitas had a TON of gristle on the skewers and the veggie enchiladas were very spicy (not mentioned in the menu) and the veggie enchiladas didn’t have a single sweet potato in them and that was 90% of the reason my wide ordered them. The waitress was nice enough to resolve our issue with the enchiladas

Antiques Authentic Mexican Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The tacos were just okay, but the drinks—especially the margaritas—were great. Service was fantastic, but the place definitely feels like a tourist trap. The location and design are cool, with a quirky bus outside and baby doll decor near the bathrooms. However, it’s not enough to bring me back.

The wait to get into here was unbearable, it took 20-30 mins just to enter, but as soon as we got in, it was amazing, quality service. Spectacular food, and even a guy playing the guitar while we were eating. This place has a chill/party atmosphere which is alright. The food is pricy but is well worth it. I definitely recommend the taco dinner with steak. Not the best place to be in and out but for a nice long dinner this place is perfect. It is in an inconvenient location though. After riding a bunch of rides and then walking forever and then getting to this place. But besides that. This place is top notch. Definitely a good place to eat. *Update, did not take long to get food but the food got messed up for 4 people 2 times in a row. This place seems amazing and I want to thank the waiter John, he went through all the crap that someone in the back was throwing at us. He stayed chill, definitely praise John if you come here.*

So disappointing. $23/plate for 3 TINY “enchiladas” and rehydrated watery pinto beans. They make you think chips and salsa aren’t included until you don’t order them then they’ll bring them to you. They’re working you. They only ask you how the food is when your mouth is full so you cant actually answer. Going away hungry still. Salsa seemed home made. Won’t be coming back. Just got ripped off after a long day at the park. Wouldn’t recommend. Not enough food for any normal person to walk away satiated. What a great way to end the day. Hungry. Also - they disappear with your debit card for ten minutes. Could be taking pictures of it to buy some furniture in a few months when we can’t trace it. Who knows. Annoyed.

Let me start with the food since that is why most of us are here. It wasn’t bad…just certainly not great. It has little when it comes to layers of flavors that TexMex usually has. The atmosphere is great although quite loud given the location at City Walk. Service would drive us away from coming back. Our main server Jeremy was great…but the hostess, food delivery guy, and shift manager should not work in the service industry. I’ll specifically mention J*k* who delivers food to the table. On of the rudest and unprofessional people I have seen working in a restaurant.

C
Carmen M

Disappointed in the quality of the food. Barely any meat in my tacos, one was pure fat and the broth that you dip the tacos in was really thick and tasted awful. The rice is definitely not Mexican rice. I ordered a Paloma and it was very bitter. I was on vacation and the rest of my group was not enjoying their food either. The waitress was very nice though.

N

Nice staff and service, but $22 for a plate of enchiladas and rice to leave hungry? Not to mention the price of drinks… Tourist trap or not, this was terrible…

While the food itself was good, the service was very slow. It took a long time for our meals to arrive, which made dining with kids especially challenging. Unfortunately, the long wait overshadowed what could have been a better experience.

Ordered the vegan enchiladas and they served me full meat and cheese enchiladas! Realised fairly quickly, but it ruined my day. The server was doing her best but the manager only offered $9 discount. Wouldn't go here again. The replacement food wasn't cooked properly either.

We dined at Antojitos at Universal CityWalk on Friday, July 4th with a party of 9. Despite the holiday, we walked in at 5 PM and were seated almost immediately, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was festive, with lots of guests dressed up for the Fourth of July. One of the highlights was the group of dancing señoritas in beautiful traditional dresses who visited the tables—they were absolutely lovely, engaging especially well with the kids at our table. Our server, Nick, answered our questions about the menu, but overall seemed disengaged. Unfortunately, that seemed to be the general vibe among most of the staff in our area, lacking presence and enthusiasm. One of our drinks had to be reminded to him because it never came, and we didn’t receive silverware until after we had already started eating our appetizers. A few disappointments started before we even ordered: the menu on their website didn’t match the one we were given, so items we were looking forward to (like the Vegetarian Fajitas and Tapas Trio) weren’t available. The appetizers were the bright spot of the meal: the Table Side Guacamole, Esquites, and Aguachile Verde were all very good (though a little heavy on the citrus). The guacamole portion could be larger for the price, but the tableside prep is fun. The Mangolada mocktails were also delicious, I’d definitely recommend them if you’re skipping alcohol. Sadly, the entrees were disappointing across the board. I had the Vegetarian Enchiladas, and the veggies were undercooked, sweet potatoes and carrots were crunchy and unappealing. The rice and beans sides were also undercooked, and my dish wasn’t hot when it arrived. My husband’s Pollo a la Poblana had good flavor, but the small portion of chicken got lost in the sauce. No one at our table was really happy with their main dish. Other issues added to the overall frustration: the water at the table tasted off, one of the kids’ juice cups arrived with the lid not snapped on properly, causing a big spill, and after a thunderstorm came through, the floors near the bathrooms became dangerously slippery. There were no wet floor signs or mats to warn guests, which felt like a serious safety hazard. I do appreciate that when I let Nick know I wasn’t happy with my dish, it was kindly comped. But overall, with so many dining options at CityWalk, I wouldn’t recommend Antojitos. The atmosphere and starters were enjoyable, but the food quality, service, and attention to detail really missed the mark.

Nope. How do you not have fish tacos at this restaurant. And so very loud- my watch was reading 87 db at dinner. I literally could not talk to people at my table. Also missed the note on the reservation that it was my daughter’s birthday. And then I went to the restroom after my dinner. While in there a worker walked out of the stall and straight out of the bathroom - not washing his hands! I couldn’t make this all up.

I visited Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food with my mother and sister and was initially impressed by the hostess, who seated us promptly and provided menus. Unfortunately, that was the end of the service. We were left waiting for over 30 minutes without acknowledgment, despite two nearby tables seated after us receiving immediate attention, drinks, and chips. While we are understanding of busy restaurants, being consistently overlooked was unacceptable and deeply unsettling. The experience left us feeling invisible, a feeling only intensified when staff suddenly noticed us solely to return a purse we had left behind as we walked out. The service was appalling. In stark contrast, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville next door delivered exceptional service and professionalism.

The food was not very good. The salsa was too sweet. The refried beans were too sweet. The meat in the nacho chips was too sweet. Over all the food was over sweet.

So this place could be spectacular, but the general manager on a Friday night was very difficult and was not accommodating at all and to top it off. We wanted to push a couple tables together and all he had to do was be nice about it and say no, but he was very rude so it really ruined our experience and I would suggest until they swap or get better management I would avoid this place at all cost. The food was good though.

We were visiting universal studios for the weekend for my son’s birthday. We decided to exit the universal studios and eat in city walk. We wanted to check out the menu before sitting. The hostess was the most welcoming and hospitable. She answered politely all of my son’s questions about the menu. The dining area was large. The decor was nice. I ordered: Camarones a la Diabla $27.95 grilled shrimp, chipotle tomato sauce, roasted corn summer slaw, lime crema, sliced avocado, micro cilantro, house rice. My wife ordered: Pescado a la Veracruzana $27.95 Mahi-mahi filet, blend of tomatoes, olives, capers, chiles, house rice My son ordered: Fajita Skewers flour tortillas, avocado chimichurri, chipotle mayo, cilantro lime crema, roasted corn summer slaw. Carne* - $29.95 marinated steak skewers, grilled peppers and onions. He also order a skewer of shrimp for $15. The food arrived in a timely manner. The dishes looked good and smelled good. But tasted okay like a cafeteria grade. My first complaint was the portion of my dish. It was tiny for a Mexican dish. I even told the waitress about my disappointment and replied other guests had the same complaint. I had photos but somehow lost them except one. My second complain was the poor desert menu. There was no cake or anything similar. This restaurant is not ideal for the celebration of a birthday occasion. My third complain was the service. Even though I had told the waitress about my son’s birthday, she didn’t even bring him a candle or even sung a word. I understand that they don’t have any cake or similar desert on their menu, she made no intention to show him some love. The hostess apologized for not having a dessert menu and told me to take him to chocolate emporium and which we did. Definitely, I Do Not recommend it for a kid’s birthday celebration. The portion size is Not worth the money. I do Not recommend this restaurant at all. The portion will leave you hungry.

So the Host Arielys said at 9:39PM that they where close already. Sorry but it shows that you guys close at 10pm. Just because you don't want to work doesn't mean that you are sending all customers away. Management need to pay attention to this. Because as I Write this review. I just saw a couple arriving with no reception and they just got seated. Super disappointed at this restaurant. Specially because my fam. Are here on vacation and they wanted to visit this place. Really Management need to either train better hosting or employees all around since this is super bad for busyness.

Just got here about 20 mins before they close so excited because I've heard this place is amazing. And the host Arielis told me we're sorry we are about to close for a party of 5 but a couple after us got in with no reservations as well.If is close is for every one is closed, period. I've been trying to get here for ever and always is something. Finally we got in but I had to cry for, So disappointed!!

The atmosphere of this restaurant felt more like a noisy cafeteria than a place to enjoy a meal. It lacked any kind of warmth or personality, and the setup made it difficult to have a conversation with anyone at my table due to the noise and open layout. The food was incredibly disappointing. The fajitas tasted like they came straight from a freezer bag—completely flavorless and lacking any seasoning. The flour tortillas were hard and clearly not fresh. The tacos were tiny—three small tacos for the price felt like a ripoff. The rice that came with them tasted like instant box rice—again, no flavor. The taco meat was dry and reminded me of something from Taco Bell, definitely not worth the cost. Our waiter was mediocre at best. I understand he had a lot of tables, but we only saw him three times during the entire visit. What really confused me was the decision to serve a plastic child’s cup alongside a heavily chemical-scented paper straw. If there’s supposed to be an environmental statement there, it completely missed the mark. In short, I cannot recommend this restaurant. For the money spent, at least try to compete with a place like Chuy’s or Habanero—restaurants that actually serve flavorful, authentic food made from scratch. This was highly commercialized, bland, and forgettable. Hugely disappointed.

My husband and me used to love eating here. We had not visited in two years and we had dinner there today and the food was terrible. We ordered beef and chicken fajitas and they had no flavor, so bland! They were not even hot. The containers were plastic, they didn’t know if they had a spare plate so I could share with my five year old. I got charged almost $4 for a tiny cup of milk to my son. In total, over $90 spent for a terrible dinner. We didn’t even finish it because it was that bad. The service didn’t even make the experience much better. Save your time and money. Look for another place to eat.

Our visit was May 3rd and were sat at 9pm with Carolina B. She was a really friendly waitress but possibly had many tables that we weren’t aware of (didnt actually seem busy) we didn’t get any silverware after our food came out. I had to go looking for her. Whenever anything was brought they would turn away and leave quickly. Not once were we asked if anything else was needed. She brought the check before we finished eating. The food was delicious except for the veggie burrito. It had NOT EVEN 1 veggie in it. It was just rice and a small side of beans. Come for some of the food- beware of vegetarian options and come with patience for the bad service/attitude of the staff.

Changed the menu! Been here a thousand times! Menu has been changed! Biggest change… the fajitas!!!! Comes on skewers now! And dark meat!! Not chicken breast!!!! Also no shredded cheese and sour cream????? Isn’t that what completes a fajita???? No zero stars option… so 1 star … but service was great… thank you John… but unfortunately after coming back this time… it will be our last!! Oh please check out the onions on the fajita platter!!!! Raw!!!! 🤦‍♂️

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. We visited on 10/2 and it was so freaking disappointing, especially after riding a bunch of rides and then walking forever to get to this place. Then once you finally get to this place, for it to be lackluster, bland, flavorless, and disgusting, was just irritating. And this place has the nerve to be expensive. For what? Which I didn't have a problem with the price, I had a problem with everything being lackluster, bland, and nasty. The chips they bring out for chips and salsa were stale. How do you have stale chips? The queso was pretty good, but, eating it with stale chips just wasn't fun. And we honestly should have left then, but no, we ordered and it was just nasty. The food had no flavor, no seasoning, just bland as hell. And they are an authentic Mexican restaurant? Ain't no way. I can cook better than what we had. And I get it, City Walk can be expensive, but this has no reason to be with how bland and flavorless everything was. The only 2 things that were good was the salsa and the queso, which once again, stale freaking chips!!! Service was okay, friendly but slow. Overall, 0/10, definitely cannot and will not recommend this place. Trust me, try somewhere else, anywhere else. There are MUCH BETTER options to eat in City Walk and I will NEVER return to this restaurant, EVER!!!
