Asian Chao in Orlando receives overwhelmingly negative reviews. Customers frequently complain about small portion sizes relative to the price, bland or flavorless food, and unfriendly service. The bourbon chicken is occasionally mentioned as being good.
Tip: Consider other options in the food court, as many reviewers suggest that other restaurants offer better value and service for a similar price.

Good service always!!
I had a great experience at Ansian Chao. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the communication was clear and professional the whole time. The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and made everything even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Denice and Kareli—they were both amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. They really went above and beyond. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for quality service and a great vibe. I’ll be coming back for sure.
Good service
Delicious. Hot. Original Cuisine. Lots of vegan choices. The Chef’s green beans are wonderful.
Staff is friendly. Pretty good prices for amount of food provided. Only $0.50 refills for soda.
Amazing food! Both chickens were great, 50c refills and the cups are huge!
It's very delicious, with the flavor of Hong Kong, China.

Personnel were amazing. Food, exactly what I was looking, a chunky, fatty and cheap Asian meal
Good good
Could be a better portion of food, small for the price
Noodles, bourbon chicken and orange chicken. Food was OK.
Get it together! Stop rationing portions if you guys are going to charge 20 for a meal. Gave 5 stars for service because even the cashier realized that the server gave me a pitiful rice portion and went back to get more. Rice was also overcooked.

Friendly service , however I believe the price to value ratio is not right . Paid around $40 for two entrees.
Been here a couple of times over the last 12 months and unfortunately this will be the last. The food portions were minimal compared to what you are paying. There are other options in the food court that offer more for the same price or less.
The food is ok but they give you a large portion of rice or noodles (the cheap stuff) and tiny portions of the main course (mixed vegetables in my case). The side of green beans was an ok size, not overly generous but ok. Not worth the price.
The rice and carrots were undercooked and had no flavor. The bourbon chicken was good.

Portions are insanely small, food average, expensive. Staff is rude.
Overpriced as hell not worth it Chinese food go somewhere else for sure.
Good food, but the plantains like freeze, and The guy in the box made me feel uncomfortable, taking my order.
I ordered a large drink and most of it was ice, it was not worth the price.
Little portions for high price but the food is really good
Little portions for high price but the food is really good
There really aren't many options in this food court, But the truth is we thought that this food would be the best option but WE WERE WRONG! If you have the opportunity, please do not go to this place, the food looks dry, tasteless and the attention of those who work is the worst. Everyone looks at you very badly, when you try to tell them something about the food They pretend they don't hear you or understand you :c. The truth is I've always worked in customer service and I know what it's like when there's a rush or a lot of people, but that's no reason to be rude. When they charged me I didn't complain about the price or anything, I was very kind and understanding but what did make me angry is that I politely asked for an empty glass because I have to take medicine. And the girl who was there gave it to me but with poor attention and as soon as she finished she turned around to talk to her partner, they said something in their language and laughed seeing me :/. I don't know if they said something about me for just ask for a cup. But the whole service was so rude :c A lot ice in my dad drinks . A little bit of food . If you want ask something they ignore you . 0/10 😕sorry guys
PLEASE READ!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! They will charge you an absurd amount for the most minimal meal. Save yourself the bad customer service and the trouble and go to Sarku Japan or Chicken Now. They provide better food, prices and service. I work in the plaza I’m not expecting to be given a huge discount. The staff there and the manager refused to give me a discount although I have my name tag and uniform on. All because I choose to eat a smaller portion so unless I get their “regular” portion I can’t get a discount. This blasphemy needs to be stopped and this store removed from the food court. They do not care for the customers. $17 DOLLARS FOR THIS.
They give u little food and orange chicken for 60 cent extra charged. Soda Refill not free. ‘So-so’ flavor. Not recommended, small portions and expensive.

This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. I can't even describe what I had, but look at this picture, and judge for yourself. This was my $15 lunch. Disgusting 🤢
Trash food and rude staff
Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food place. I went here to get food and I didn’t choose a tip because the service was really bad and the lady at the register was rude. When I saw my receipt they added a $7.49 tip that I did NOT choose and when I went back to ask the casher was so rude. She told me “I didn’t pay you did”. If the owner reaches out to this please provide me your contact details as this is not how business is done. You dont add a tip when your customer doesn’t permit it and I highly suggest you teach your staff members some customer care skills. Check your receipts people.
The food had no taste and no chicken pieces. Complete waste of money…loaded my food with chilli sauce to add flavor
Disgrace. Boo-boo food, boohoo portions, boohoo customer service. Shut down
Food had no flavor. Cabbage was undercooked. Just in general poor service and food. Go elsewhere
The worst Chinese food ever! I don't think even the owners of the restaurant will eat that food🤮🤮
Employees are rude and food tasted old and reheated
Rice was uncooked, wantons were empty!
Food has no flavor
Wish i had listened to every other review on here. Portions are INSANELY small- they dip the spoon 3 to 4 times in the bowl to make it seem like they are serving a lot but they’re not at all. 1 soy sauce packet for a combo meal? And the people checking you out are also not very nice.
I think they use a ton of MSG in their food. My mouth felt numb after and super heavy. Really not necessary to feed people such bad food. Choose something else in the food court
The refill system at least in Florida outlet is outrageous, how can it be that you pay 4 $ for a soft drink and only can refill it one time No matter if you pay the extra dollar for the refill, it’s only one time. It’s a crime that they are doing here Never buy a soft drink in this place.
Terrible service. The food of very poor quality and the worst thing was that I bought a soda that cost $ 2.59 and they filled my glass with ice, I asked them to please fill the glass because it was very little soda and she denied it and told me that I had to pay 1 $ more. This is the first time this has happened to me. I will never go back.
This place is the only place in Orlando FL that charges you for a soda refill. DO NOT COME HERE! The portions are not good for how much they charge for food and the policies are horrible, the employees canopy even give you enough napkins because of the company policies. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.
Incredibly stingy with their serving for the price they give. Do not come here! Avoid it like the plague.
Small portions for the price, subpar quality and taste.
Paid $38. 2 meals for me and my friend. Entrees Bourbon chicken was dry and little flavoring. But what was worse was the customer service. A lady cleaning the glass was rushing me through, as I was waiting to order my second entree. And others giving attitude because I was waiting to order my meal. And they had me skip over other customers in line to pay. I would have expected better from an Asian place. I got sick from all the broccoli from my meal.
I realize it’s the food court at the airport but put a little effort into the food. No flavor. Beef and broccoli was tough, dry and inedible. Rice had no flavor. Cheese ragoons were old and cold.
Chicken eggrolls tasted like drywall, low mein had no flavor and probably had sat there all day. Staff were rude and wouldnt even look at me when I was telling them how awful the food was. They did not care.
Really small portions. Workers are super RUDE. Bourbon chicken tasted off.
They serve whatever they want. You only order vegetables and meat, and the portion size isn't enough for even a child. I told them it was too small and that I'd pay the extra, and they added a scoop of protein. I complained, but it was useless. I didn't return the food because I really had no other immediate option. Terrible service. They serve whatever they want, not what the customer orders.
Food was ok service was horrible. Employee took a tooth pick and got a piece of chicken and walked back to eat. Lady at the register refused to give me a cup of ice after buying a bottle of water. I even offered to pay for the cup, I don't think she understood English much not in a mean way.
Horrible attendance they were super rude the ice tea i got was expired disgusting never eating there again
$12.99 for 2 combo. This will fill your 8 year old little girl. Potions are small. Food was not flavorful. Should fire the chef. I’m not happy with this. So many other options to choose from. Food is about flavor and this place has none.
The experience at Asian Chao was disappointing as the Chinese food was the worst I've ever had. The flavors were bland, and the dishes lacked authenticity. Adding to the disappointment, the staff were unfriendly, providing poor service and showing little interest in customer satisfaction. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience.
Kinda pricey for what you get. Noodles have no flavor. Orange Chicken was good. Staff serving the food not so friendly. Made a rude face. When I was asking about the food. Food portions are very small.
