BBB Tofu House is highly rated for its delicious and authentic Korean food, especially the sundubu and bibimbap. Customers praise the friendly and hospitable owners. Some find it a bit pricey, but worth it.
Tip: Be careful with the spice level when ordering. The restaurant uses a flavorful chili blend that can be quite potent.
One of the best meals I've had in a while! The food is incredible and flavourful. We had the Mandu, the Galbi, and the Assorted Sundubu, and everything was delicious. All the staff were very kind and friendly. Multiple people checked on us, and made sure we had everything we needed. Would HIGHLY recommend if you're craving some great quality Korean food, and a nice ambiance! ✨️
A couple times a year, I get absolutely dumbstruck and shocked with how far a place blows my expectations out of the water. BBB Tofu House left me absolutely speechless and wanting to order much more than we did, and we actually ordered a ton of food for only two people. The outside ambiance of this place is very unsuspecting. It's in a poorly lit strip mall in the Pine Hills area of town. Various furniture stores and other Asian restaurants and questionable wellness spas dot the mall, but inside, this place was beautiful. It was like a ruby encrusted coy pond, gently playing K-pop in the background. Very cozy. The service was incredible. These folks were so nice and patient with me as I asked them questions about many menu items, wanting to make sure I ordered the right things. The food came out at a very reasonable pace, too. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. And the food, it was wow. Absolutely exquisite. Started off with the Bulgogi Mandu (Beef; 5 Pieces). These are a fried Korean dumplings, and the thing about mandu is that they are probably the dumpling with the most filling packed into it. A massive amount of delicious beef filling, a crispy wrapper with a fun little crimping for texture, and a nice, subtle sesame-type sauce. Very good. I also had the Tteok-bokki, my favorite Korean appetizer. It is a chewy, cylinder-shaped rice cakes (tteok) simmered in a spicy, sweet, and savory sauce. And it was delicious. It was also the largest serving I've ever encountered, so it got kind of one-note. I recommend paying the upcharge for the Add Cheese. Then onto the Seafood Pancake. Look at this dang thing in my picture. One of the best things man has ever created. An intricately crispy outer layer of some sort of dough, containing within a cheesy blend of seafoods, all sliced up like a pizza and coming with that same sesame sauce for dipping. This was Super Bowl food, my goodness. I got the Galbi (BBQ Short Ribs), which is another Korean staple. Very mainstream, but for good reason. These short ribs are sliced crosswise, slicing up those muscle fibers, and leaving behind thin layers of delicious, tender beef. Being sliced so thinly also lends itself well to soaking up the marinade very good. So delicious. I finished off with the, here we go, the main event, Dolpan Kimchi Bokkeum Bap (Kimchi Fried Rice) (Kimchi, Beef, Peas, Corn, Carrots and Onion topped with Cheese). They'll ask you if you want the egg. Say yes. This magnificent creature comes to you as a mound of rice in a screaming hot stone bowl, with the cheese kept away from it. Tableside, the man cracks an egg on the whole thing, and then mixes the heck out of all of it, allowing the egg to cook and the cheese to melt. He then spreads it all out against the stone bowl, maximizing touched surface area, creating a crispy cheesy rice crust along the bottom of the bowl, making every bite amazing. You read all that right. And it was one of the best meals of my life not at a Michelin restaurant. I'm actually going to petition this place as a Bib Gourmand. It was that high quality. I'm in love.
Kevin the server was the most polite mannered server I’ve encountered yet! Made the dining experience even better. The food was exceptionally delicious. Me and girlfriend came over rock paper and scissors and I won which this restaurant was my choice. It was definitely a double win at this restaurant!
A really tasty bite worth trying. We got the Korean fried chicken and the cheesy chicken tteokbokki, both really delicious options. Would recommend getting a couple of entrees and sharing because everything this place has to offer needs a try. Cozy atmosphere and the staff are extremely hospitable. Expect to spend $15-$20 per person. Will be coming here again, definitely satisfies all cravings.
For how long I've lived in Orlando I'm disappointed in myself for not knowing this spot was in Chinatown on Colonial. I pinched myself after our meal because I regret not coming here before. Their soup that comes with the entree was really good. Beware that it does have seafood in it so in case you're allergic but otherwise it was really good. Appetizers were great, especially the tofu(geez so good). We actually didn't realize how much food we had ordered so we basically just shared it amongst the group. You can tell just from my photos that it's definitely bang for buck. Atmosphere was very chill as well with some kpop playing in the background. Very much worth trying this spot out, I doubt anyone will come out disappointed for going.
Absolutely amazing, best Korean in town. Great vegetarian options but not mostly vegetarian.
This is easily in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Orlando. They have the best soondubu jjigae I have ever had. I was actually disappointed in Koreatown LA at the jjigae there in comparison to my little spot in Florida. For years I came here weekly and they always remembered my order, the food is always amazing. I would give 500 stars if I could. When they shut down for a few months in 2020 I actually had to teach myself how to make the soup because I couldn’t go without it lol. I just moved to Idaho and I miss this place dearly.
Wonderfully cozy place! Our waiter was so nice and kind. She even helped us with some silly questions we had. After you order, they bring over a set of appetizers that are really delightful For a bigger appetizer we went with potstickers which were nicely done. For entree, we tried bulgogi combo, with a side of sundubu. It also had a little side of rice. Bulgogi was yum and sundubu was hot and heartwarming. The best thing about food here? Nothing is spiced above or under, they are just the right amount. It feels like home comfort food and it is tasty. Moreover, this amazing cuisine is just fun to try!
One of my favorite Korean restaurants in town. The food is always fresh and delicious. If it is your first time I always recommend ordering the Kimchi Fried Rice. It comes to the table in a hot stone and an egg and cheese will be added to the dish and cooked in front of you. This dish is always a crowd pleaser and great appetizer. It can also be a full meal. I also recommend getting one of their combination plates if it is your first time. You will get a small entrée of what you order and also a soup. The Korean soup comes with a raw egg you crack in when it is hot. The residual heat from the hot stone will cook the egg in the soup. It is a very seafood-y soup so if you are not a fan I would not recommend. But the chicken and rice cake dish is great. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed in the dish I ordered.
Good taste surprised 👍🏻The tofu pot is super delicious that we can’t believed. The clay pot Korean rice( Entree #11 Dolsot ) with beef is my favorite-dish everywhere we try Korean food. Here the taste is very delicious! Rice cake is good not too spicy. And tofu soup is the must-try here so flavorful and has (shrimp-beef- clam). Gonna bring lot of families here. Awesome asian food! Yummy yummy ~rice is tasty ~ highly recommend this spot.
Service is quick and friendly with great side dishes to start your meal (ask for free seconds). Don't be afraid of the prices since the portions are pretty large and meant to be shared with the party. I recommend the Dolsot Bibimbap and Sundubu combo for a nice savory rice and spicy soup combination. If you come here with others, sharing family style is a great way to go as well
Very welcoming, every table was full, delicious food, lots of great options on the menu. I had the dulsot bibimbap—the side dishes and the bibimbap were plentiful! My meal was about $20 with tip. I’ll be back!
The food was authentic Korean food. This restaurant reminded me of BCD Tofu in California where I first had Korean food. The galbi was extraordinary and I also ordered the large kimchi ramyon. The server that we had was fantastic. He explained each item to us to ensure we knew what we were getting. Example what made the dish extra spicy. He told me that Carolina reaper went in extra spicy. The restaurant itself was quiet. There weren’t many customers when we were there; however, it was early so I’m sure they were busy as the day went on. I highly recommend this restaurant and would certainly go back.
This is my go-to place whenever I’m craving Korean food and want something filling! I love how they have the galbi combo with soondubu. Atmosphere is very cozy and staff is always so friendly.
When I first ate there, I really loved it. All the food was awesome and authentic Korean food, including all the side dishes. I missed the place so much and went there again. The food was great, and the owner was super friendly. I will definitely go there again. (The only thing changed was the raddish side dish. It was mixed with cilantro, which some Korean would not approve. Lol) 한국 분들~ 한국 음식이 그립다면 여기로 오세요! 음식도 진짜 맛있고 사장님도 친절하세요. 강추합니다!!
Wanted to come back and update this review to continue stating that is remains our favorite Korean place in orlando. Been coming for almost 5 years at this point and have brought every visit and recommend to every friend and coworker. Servers have always been attentive and kind. Food is EXQUISITE, we usually order tteokbokki with cheese, japchae, the fried tofu (BEST in orlando by farrr), and the beef bulgogi. Portions are great, prices are reasonable. Food doesn’t sit heavy on your stomach but you still walk away full. I cannot express just how much we’ve loved this place and continue to appreciate the consistent quality they have put out every time
Great food and the owners are so friendly! Would definitely go back.
I have to say this review is long overdue. Being an avid ‘dining out’ kind of person - first impressions is an obvious must but their consistency is what’s going to draw me back. I think in order to be inducted as legit Koreans they must have undergone a series of tests when they were young as to how much heat they can handle. I’m not from a Korean household.. so thats a dead giveaway right there.. I’m a wimp when it comes to heat. For wimps like me.. don’t worry! They have dishes for wimps and of course, for the heat lovers. 🤣 This restaurant introduced me to Sundubu soup (flavorful tofu stew base) that you can customize the heat level from non spicy to super tingly numb heat (your butt will cuss you out probably😆 afterwards). You can choose your protein (my favorite is the beef). The soup is comforting and satisfying. There is a perfect ratio between broth and meat and tofu. You receive your soup bubbling hot and you (yes.. YOU!) crack a fresh egg. This Sundubu alone is already worth the 30-40 minute drive from the east side. Their Galbi is flavorful and tender. The sparerib cut and meat quality is very premium. Their side dishes are fresh and has a perfect split of spicy and non spicy. You can tell that this tofu house has their regulars. They get packed fast (I’ve seen some opt for take out instead). Staff are very friendly and accommodating and service is spot on. The prices are reasonable.. and you know how far your dollars went when you get out of the restaurant feeling like you’re about to give birth🫣! Worth every penny! I have made at least 10 trips to BBB in the last 5 months and in every visit our party was greeted with the same exceptional service and tasty food. We had no visit to BBB that left us saying “the food taste different maybe it’s a different chef in the kitchen”. NEVER. This consistency and impeccable service that BBB Tofu House delivers is what makes our long drive to have a meal or a feast worth it. Thanks BBB! We will be back soon! Cookie
So delicious!! The atmosphere is chill and peaceful. Would recommend!!🤩❤️
The food was so good and the portions were incredible, my whole family had a good amount of leftovers! The restaurant was beautiful on the inside and very cozy. The workers were very friendly too. Plus, their water taste good, didn’t taste like tap water while a lot of other restaurants water taste like tap.
Friendly service, amazing food! We were so grateful to be accommodated as Vegans wanting to try authentic Korean food! Thank you soooo much! Cherry was truly sweet and we will definitely be back!
We’re not Korean food experts but it is a great interpretation on traditional dishes.
great food, great restaurant, but insanely loud music. before the food was even served, it made me want to get up from my seat and start dancing. it reminded me of my days back in 1518 when everyone was dancing around and having a jolly good time. the food was amazing. next time i go, i might give into my desires and start dancing in the middle of the establishment.
A super cheap, super delicious mom and pop shop just 15 minutes from Universal Studios! The guy who served us was always attentive to our needs and the restaurant is very well taken care of. The portion sizes were perfect and we were served authentic Korean food. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.
One of the best Korean tofu houses in Orlando. We drive over 45 min to eat here, and it is great. The service staff are super friendly, the portion size is perfect and the quality is truly excellent. You won't be disappointed.
The Beef Bulgogi combo is SO GOOD and comes with a soup that is packed with seafood, beef, and tofu..practically another meal or 2 on its own :) and really delicious! You get so much food, plus side dishes, the fish cakes were the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely come back and try something new
BBB Tofu House serves some of the best Korean food I've had in Florida. This is definitely a traditional sit down restaurant where you're served cooked food, so don't expect an all you can eat experience here. And for the price, I can see why some people may want that. BBB Tofu House is not cheap. I got the short rib combo with the soon tofu soup. Before the meal started, we were hit with the traditional assorted banchan side dishes. The peanuts and fish cakes were my stand out favorites. Especially that fish cake. We got at least three servings of the fish cake. No regrets. Then came out my soon tofu soup served in a cast iron bowl. The boiling red kimchi wasn't boiling for show, but rather to ensure my egg was going to actually cook through. It honestly looked like they served me lava. The soup was fabulous. The texture of the tofu was so soft, fluffy, and light. It was like eating clouds. The egg whites that cooked in the broth were somehow more textured in comparison. The broth itself paired really well with rice. I ended liking it way more than I thought I would. Finally came my short rib served on a ripping hot cast iron plate, sitting on top of onions. That short rib... Hoooot damn. I never been so excited to eat something. And thank God it lived up to my hype. The texture and flavor were boooomb. BBB Tofu House is a strange name for a restaurant, but it is damn delicious. Shout out to the service, they were awesome. They reheated my bowl of soup after I learned the egg was raw and needed to be cooked. Stayed on top of us wanting more fish cake, and also reheated my friends good cause she wanted more crispy onions.
Yesterday was my first time trying out BBB Tofu House, and the food was excellent! I've tried the Dolpan Kimchi Bokleum Bap and became my favorite dish! I haven't tried soju before until I tried the strawberry soju which was very good! I would highly recommend it! See y'all again next time! 😊
Visiting from NC, love the food!! it's really traditional, witch for me is a big thing. they start u with some yummy side dishes. from spicy, tart, and a little sweet. From outside it doesent look like a good place to eat, the place is really small but the food is really good, a must try place. The owner is supper nice and detail to customer service. If you go in a busy time do expect a wait time but it is so worth it.
This place is gem. Friendly staff, delicious smell, food is fantastic and authentic. The restaurant itself is a clean and airy space. I will 100% be coming back. If the food didn’t sell me (it did), the friendly servers would have. I’d never eaten shrimp with the skin, so I asked a passing server and he not only showed me but he even explained how the shell actually helps flavor the broth and that’s why they use unshelled shrimp instead of shelled. Loved it. I had the spicy seafood and tofu ramen. Can’t stress enough this place is wonderful. Come here and you won’t regret it.
I come here frequently - BBB Tofu House is my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is always delicious and they are generous with the side dishes! I always leave here full and happy with leftovers for the next day.
Had their vegetable soon tofu soup and it was absolutely delicious. The banchans tasted odd but regardless, the main meal was 10/10!
Good taste for their sundubu jjigae. It is one of the best restaurant for one person in Orlando. They provide the various side dish generously, and I got refill even if I am only one person, it is incredible that they are so cheap.
Very friendly and welcoming service! Food was excellent. I got the Bibimbap with Tofu combo (came with sundubu, i got the vegetable one). The side dishes that came with my meal were fantastic too! Will be back! Tasty and great atmosphere and service.
Who was very great delicious came out on time was very high no complaints for the food and also great customer service
Really great Korean food! My cousin lives close by, and this is always a go-to. And the food never disappoints. I always get the house fried rice. Their BBQ chicken is so tender and flavorful. Amazing service. Everyone is so friendly, and welcoming. They treat you like family. Recommend this to locals and anyone visiting. Worth a try. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food here is as good as it was years ago, with its original flavors intact. Unlike nearby spots that changed owners (and tastes), this place stays consistent. The cheese chicken, fried tofu, hot tofu soup, and bibimbap are all great. It’s our go-to for a quick, delicious meal on busy days.
I'm a huge fan of their Galbi Sundubu with Ramen! It's always good! They're the only restaurant that serves sundubu with ramen so I always go here whenever I crave for one. Yet, their variety of banchans (side dishes) are real good- especially the Kimchi! Also, their Dolsot (Stone-pot) Bibimbap is very flavorful! Don't forget to pair your meal with some Aloe drink- I promise you won't regret it!
Tasty tofu soup joint. They serve the best kimchi and their galbi is real good too. The kimchi fried rice is absolutely amazing. The cheese and all the ingredients just make the perfect harmony. They also it at your table too, so that's also a good presentation. Their Jajangmyeon is like a Korean version of spaghetti but it's one of a kind because Tony also added a touch of Chinese style to this special dish. The staff is friendly and the owners are cool. The store is well maintained and clean.
I had the bulgogi combo. The bulgogi was good, however it was the soup that was amazing to me. The tofu was soft and the flavor was on point. I highly recommend trying the soup. Although, the food portion might be small for some people. The server was also attentive and nice. I like the fact that I don't have to stretch my neck out looking for a server to refill my water. I will definitely be coming back.
We've been coming here for years. An excellent family owned restaurant, great food, friendly and warm service and atmosphere. We love everything about this place. I love the Galbi combo, includes tender, well marinated grilled beef, seafood tofu soup, several sides dishes and Korean rice. My husband likes the Spicy Pork. We actually tried many dishes and they were all exceptional. We're never disappointed and you won't be either! And the prices are very reasonable too!
Stumbled on this place and we loved it! Food was on point (similar to bcd tofu house in nyc) and service was friendly snd helpful. Will visit again
The service is so amazing! This establishment is a family owned business and they make each meal such a pleasure for every customer. Their menu is very convenient for us as pescatarians but they also have great options that are vegan and vegetarian friendly. We will for sure be coming back!!! Thank you to Cherry and her son for being so welcoming and kind.
We went here for our 12 year olds birthday and it was a great experience. Food and service were both A++ Definitely coming back in the future. Thank you!
Excellent spicy seafood tofu soup. We ordered bulgogi combo & grilled chicken combo - both were yummylicious! Even the kids who normally don't eat that much, ask for more... the restaurant is located within the Orlando Chinatown zone with lots of Asian restaurants nearby. Pan fried seafood Kimchi pancake tasted a little like pizza, unlike the fluffy light pancake that we used to eat back in Korea. Kimchi fried rice / BokumBap also quite good!
BEST Korean Restaurant in the area!! I have been going to this place for over 4 years and every visit has ALWAYS been superb, the food is always hot and freshly made and the staff are always top notch and super attentive. The whole restaurant is very well maintained and super clean every time I come
Great soontofu and kalbi found here! We ordered takeout for dinner and everything was ready by the time we arrived 20min later. Entree combo of Kalbi + Assorted Soontofu and Kimchi Soontofu entree. The food was well-seasoned and banchan (side dishes) were a delicious variety. Kalbi was tender and soontofu was super silky and spicy. Service was friendly. It's located in not the greatest part of town, but the quality of food is worth the drive. Very reasonable costs too.
This was first time coming here to this BBQ Tofu restaurant. And boy was I'm impressed. It has a prime location to Enson market (formerly known as 1st Oriental Market). Inside you can hear the K-pop and feel the Korean vibe in the house. What makes it different from other places the fresh tofu that is added into the soup dishes which makes it a great texture component. My sister and I ordered hot barley tea to drink and the k-pop chicken. It was deliciously fried pieces of chicken thigh meat dipped in a tangy sauce. The Korean side dishes were to die for: fish cake, cucumber, Broccoli, Caesar salad, bean sprouts and kimchi. I ordered the Galbi (Korean short-rib) tofu soup and my sister ordered Seafood Combo Soup with Bulgogi. Each came with egg and rice. This was such a delicious meal to ring in the Chinese New Year of the Tiger!
Been coming here for years, with the previous owner and the current ones. The food is really exceptional and the care in service is great. A family affair with care and consistency in the food.
The best Korean food I've had thus far in Orlando. Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff were knowledgeable and kind. They even included extra fish cakes for us so they wouldn't have to throw it out and waste it. We will definitely be back and I'm looking forward to their black bean noodles they have specially on Fridays.
Possibly the best fried rice I’ve ever had. The kimchi fried rice came out sizzling like fajitas and they stirred the egg and cheese into it tableside. We also ordered the fried tofu appetizer and when it turned out not to be vegan the staff was very nice and accommodating by replacing it free of charge.
9/15/25: BBB Tofu House is still my kids and my favorite Korean restaurant for Korean Galbi. Their friendly service, cozy atmosphere, fresh ingredients and quality food, flavoring and texture of meat and rice are always consistent. My pickup little man doesn't like any of the little side dishes served with entree so I was able to substitute with a fried sunny side up egg for him to eat or else he would rather starve himself. 3/24/23: It’s my first time eating here. I ordered the Galbi entree and Seafood Tofu soup for my kids and me. Highlights: 1. Galbi is very flavorful and tender enough for my little man to enjoy. He rarely likes to eat beef unless it’s tender like filet mignon. I like how they have enough sauce on the bottom on the plate so I can mix it with the steamed rice for my kids. They love eating rice with this Galbi sauce. 2. The sides that comes with the entree: I liked everything but the nappa kimchi. The nappa kimchi was just plain bland with a strong chili pepper powder paste, no hint of sourness or fermentation. My favorite is the cucumber kimchi with a balanced sweet and sour taste. 3. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of the Seafood tofu soup. The soup has fresh ingredients and good quality shrimp and clams. I love it. Overall, the galbi at this Korean restaurant is my favorite galbi version in the area so far. I definitely would come back here for Galbi next time.
BBB Tofu House is absolutely amazing! The food here is some of the best I’ve ever had. The sundubu is incredibly flavorful, rich, and perfectly cooked comforting and delicious in every bite. Everything on the menu tastes fresh and well-prepared, and you can really tell they put care into their food. The service is just as great as the food. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and everything feels just right. Overall, everything is perfect from the food to the service. I highly recommend BBB Tofu House and will definitely be coming back again!
This is one of the best non AYCE Korean restaurants in Orlando. I've been going since it opened and can attest that the food tastes even better with second ownership. They have a unique seafood pancake that's addicting. Their grilled meats are always tasty and kimchi stew is packed with flavor. I personally think their side dishes, especially the kimchi is best in town.
This place is amazing! The food is excellent and this is my new favorite go-to place for sundubu. Not only is the stew here great, but many of the menu items have amazing flavor. I think the best part of this establishment is that the owners are so friendly and hospitable and genuinely care about the customer's dining experience. I highly recommend going to this restaurant if you're looking for a nice family owned establishment to dine at. It's worth becoming a regular not only for the tasty food, but to support the wholesome staff at the restaurant.
I don’t review pretty much anywhere! But this place was 10/10 in every regard. Some of the best food I’ve had in a while. Every one of the staff was so friendly and polite. This will most likely be my regular Korean spot.
Ordered the chicken cilantro dumpling sundubu and it tasted so good and yummy. However be SUPER careful about the spice level you ask for. I love spicy food through and through, but most places I’ve been to have not been able to reach my level of success for a spice level. They use a tasty and flavorful hybrid pepper blends to reach an insane level. If you are affected poorly from spice please be careful. This is the only place that can be trusted to surpass the everyday level of boring spice. This is nowhere near a level of hot sauce you find at the grocery store. It was a fantastic experience and would 100% come back.
I am so happy that my favorite tofu stew place was open for lunch. Got to see Cherry and her sons who are the owners. Kevin, Jericho and Jerome are the three brothers that run this place. They are the nicest family run restaurant. I love how generous they are and how hard they work everyday. I’ve frequent here with my family for awhile. They have the best tofu soup. I always go with the assorted tofu soup and their popular stone bowled bibim bop. They also have really good galbi (marinated steak) and variety of side dishes. All their veggies are fresh and their dishes are authentic Korean. I love it so much! Thank you for making my day!
Soup Soup Soup! What did I get. I got the Veggie Soon Dubu (Vegan friendly tofu soup). The soup came boiling and bubbling at my table! I was excited to dig in! Also came with a bowl of rice on the side and an raw egg that you add it (I skipped on the egg). This soup is my fav soup! You are able to add ramen to the soup as well! The soup to me was salty (well more than what I am used to) but sooooooo good. You also get a spread of banchans depending on what they have that day. It definitely satisfies my need for savory. MORE RICEEEE. Environment This is right beside the Oriental supermarket near towards the Magic Outlet building, if you are facing Oriental it is to the right side. They are closed for an hour daily form 330-430... which surprised me a little...but that's okay. There is no outdoor seating only indoor seating with tables and booths. Niceness of the Staff It was 4:30 and I opened the door to someone sleeping... I was a bit startled. The owner of the restaurant was very nice, he personally goes around the tables to make sure everyone and everything is nice. The waiters and waitresses kept circling to make sure water cups are filled. Dollar The Tofu soup was $12 which I find reasonable. Yes? I like the variety of tofu soups available here! Def good go to place. I am interested to try other items on the menu!
Great place to come in Orlando's Chinatown when craving for korean food! They are known for their sizzling bowl of korean soon tofu, spicy super soft tofu soup! It comes in a little cute size when you order it with the lunch / dinner special combo. Their portion is really really big for the combo, because you get a choice of meal that comes with rice, side dishes, meat and soon tofu. Enough for 2 people to share tbh. The spicy rice cake was really great, I added cheese for an extra charge, and definitely recommends it with the cheese. Usually the rice cake is like an appetizer, but even the rice cake cake in a really big bowl, and really really filled us up. Their kimchi fried rice was okay, a tad too salty for us. I just wished that they didn't mix up the rice and cheese "for us", cuz it would've been nice if we could've don't it ourselves. Anyways, they had an awesome side dishes variety, the korean style marinated potatoes were my favourite out of all. The owner of the store is also really nice too The main reason why I gave them a 4 star is because of the expensive price after dining here. Bulgogi Combo w/ Soon Tofu - $21.99 Dduk Bokki - $12.99 Dol Pan Kimchi Bokumbap - $16.98
Recommended by friend, so I brought husband and mom here for different occasions. I even found a paper interview of the owner. We came here both time for lunch, be seated very quickly and the owner came by to make sure if we were the first time here, he would walk you through the menu and give you recommendations. 7 small dishes were served right away, they were all veggie except a fish cake plate, love all the flavor, look for more spicy kick as I am an Aisan, American spicy doesn't taste too much for me. 1st Visit: Galbi Combo: BBQ Short Rib with assorted soon Tofu Seafood Soondubu 2st Visit: Dol Pan Kimchi Bokum Bap (Kimchi Fried Rice) Spicy Squid on Hot Stone * Galbi Combo, everything brought out fresh made on hot stone, love the heat temperature-wise. Short Rib was juicy and grilled perfectly. Love the soon Tofu came out hot and bubbling. * Seafood Soondubu, again it came out hot and bubbling, seafoods were OK, but surprisingly so BLAND. All soon Tofu soup for me was too bland and not spicy at all. Disappointment. All Entrees came with white rice, hot and soft, good to eat with tofu and the soup. * MUST TRY: Dol Pan Kimchi Bokum Bap (Kimchi Fried Rice), Owner brought out the rice on hot stone in front of you and asked if you want egg and cheese on the rice, then he would mix them up for you. OMG you have to try this, it's in heaven. I will order this every single time I visit there. * Spicy Squid on Hot Stone, Love this. First I love squid, and they definitely seasoned well with perfect combinations of onion, peppers and veggies. Love they serve or cook foods on hot stone, keep everything temperature hot. Also, the owner gave the best service, you feel so comfortable to dine in here. Foods are decent too. Will recommend this Korean restaurant to others definitely.
Food was good but took well over an hour to prepare. Very slow for Korean stew.
Great food and fair prices. Nice and authentic with very traditional and fresh flavors. The flavor was good but not great on the bibimbap. The short ribs had good flavor but they were a little tough and they put the pieces with lots of meat on top of the plate and the ones with more bone than meat at the bottom. I didn't appreciate that. Also the service was just ok.. The server was horribly serious and didn't really explain the menu that well when we asked.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The server brought bulgogi instead of the tteokbokki (bokki) I clearly ordered for my daughter. When I asked about it, she didn’t apologize — she argued with me and insisted I ordered something I did not. Completely unprofessional. We didn’t touch the bulgogi since it wasn’t ours. The server then took the full plate back into the kitchen, which honestly made me question whether it would be served to someone else. That is very concerning. To make things worse, I witnessed staff using a mop to clean tables and even wipe chairs. That is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable in any restaurant. Poor service, no accountability, and questionable sanitation practices. Management seriously needs to address these issues. I will not be returning, even I came here years ago. But how, without the owner onsite, everything changed.
When taking my bulgogi combo order, server asked if they should cook everything I ordered? What a dumb question I thought. The menu wasn't clear on what was included in the combo, so what "everything" are you asking me? Apparently the combo included a tofu soup that included "everything" with beef, shrimp and whatever else. The moment I saw the shrimp(allergy) I tried to get the servers attention for at least 5 minutes to change it out. They said they wouldn't remake my soup without charging me for an additional soup and he can box it up for me so I can take it home. What a smooth brain offer. The Korean BBQ here is mediocre. Go somewhere else for good food.
