Knightro's is an affordable, student-friendly spot, especially for breakfast. The all-you-can-eat buffet is a draw for those on a budget. However, some found the food quality inconsistent, citing issues with pizza, salad, and pasta.
Tip: Go for breakfast when it's less crowded and try the omelet bar.

I came here for breakfast for the first time and I was surprised by the price for all you can eat buffet, $11 per person if you don't have the dining pass. You get what you pay for, there wasn’t as many options as other buffet places but only good if your on a budget. Food wasn’t that good in comparison to other local places. It’s not a place i would take your family to go out and eat. I’d say the only thing good there was the cereal, starbucks coffee machine and the omelet bar. I can only imagine what the lunch menu was. Take the advice from other reviews and treat yourself good and spend a little more money on somewhere else.
Súper económico yessss
Food is good as well as the environment.
Very cheap and good food
The best food ever, good chefs
Great food for the money!
Very good price and selection
Halal food served here
Cheap, delicious and spacious.
Good and cleaning place
Pretty good
This place is love..
A far better alternative to the campus alternative: 63' South. At Knightro's, the food is cooked PROPERLY, condiment stations are properly cleaned/rotated as needed, and staff is friendly and helpful.
Good selection for a college student. The blueberry smoothies were my favorite things until I found the ice cream machine.
good food, please bring back the SALMON more often!!!
Great value for the variety of food Clean and we'll prepared
Not too shabby but not too amazing. Great food and customer service.
I love the cafeteria, a lot of options and very cheap.
Incredible restaurant
Good place for lunch, reasonable price
Delicious food, free parking, great stuff, easy shift
Great price for students. The food is OK. Nothing amazing or wonderful. It's just a nice place for a student to eat all that he can eat with a low price.
Honestly a lot better than expected, everyone said how bad it was but it was clean, solid service, everything was hot and while a bit underseasoned it was filling.
Okay, this place isn't a five star restaurant you would take your family to, but it's pretty great for a student. This and '63 South are both the dining hall locations for UCF, all you can eat, and $11 per visit if you don't have the dining pass. $11 for all you can eat is already a really good deal. What buffet have you been to that's less than $15-$20 per person? They also have pretty good food. Like I said, it's not incredible over the top, but there's always high quality meals, vegan options, a salad and fruit bar, free drinks, etc. As a student I highly recommend it. If you're just trying to find a place to eat, it might not be your favorite.
This is all you can eat and drink (no alcohol) Restaurant, is open 8:00am-8pm Monday thru Friday and 11:00am to 8:pm Saturday and Sunday. Monday thru Friday is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Saturday and Sunday is brunch 11:00 am to 2:00pm and Dinner started at 2 pm to 8:00pm All included. Waffle bar is open All day everyday. The price is $13.00 USD And children under 6y don't pay. This restaurant is open to the public and is located at UCF
I found the place good for relaxing as well as the food is also good. You can find 'halal' food items there which is the reason many Muslims go there for eating. Food items are versatile but I found one of the coffee machines non-functional for a long time.
Went here for breakfast when not busy and it was a good experience. They have a decent selection and an omelette bar where you can choose your toppings. Good selection of drinks as well and was glad I went.
Buen servicio. Ambiente estudiantil
Best UCF dining plan option
good food really nice to be threre
Clean food. Could be more varieties.
Just don't eat the fish.
Good food
Nice variety.
College style for sure.
good
This place should be open until 9 as primary dinner hours stretch well past 8. I can't stress how many times my gym or meal planning routine gets canceled because they refuse to stay open later, closing at 9 would be the better call and worth the revenue spike from late diners (look at 6-7 on the graph). Yes, the food could be better, they lack healthy options and proteins so if you are trying to diet down you will likely not stick to it. The service is also a bit slow and the portions are small though I think it's an excusable financial shortcut due to how many students use unlimited meal plans. Still, you can usually get chicken or some kind of meat on your plate with vegetables and fresh fruit for the grab. The biggest annoyances I have run into are them hanging up balloons, slightly expired milk, and non-mixed soda. But to rate 1 star saying the pizza, burger, and fries taste bad is like throwing a tantrum over a bus being 5 minutes late. If that's 1 star worthy than you don't deserve to be accepted into UCF. The fries are even better than McDonalds because they prepare the salt and oil well, and the burgers are decent but not restaurant-tier; though, burger sauce they really should add back. The pizza isn't great and I think it's store bought / frozen, but people who review bomb over it better start hitting the treadmill unless they want to die of cardiac arrest before 50.
Hector helped turn the coffee machine on and offered solutions to solve the issue of having no cups! Great employees. Food is okay and there’s a lot of variety so the hits cover the misses.
One of the buffet restaurants in UCF but this one is much better than the South 63. It's less crowded, much cleaner and organized.
Good food, good atmosphere. If you're a UCF student on a meal plan I'd recommend it over 63 South (Marketplace).
It's fun to buy the pass and just stay in here all day nourishing yourself and studying. However they dont allow people to take food out so that sucks
Very clean place and with good service. The food is basic but should be better and have more options.
They have a variety of food items ranging from vegan, vegetarian to halal item but only very limited halal options.
Good food, good price, not too busy.
Better alternative to 63 South. Food is good and there is variety.
Convenient dining for UCF students. Good selection.
Better salad bar than 63 south
The better of the two buffets on campus. Pizza is good, along with their said bar. Main courses can be sporadic is their quality, but there is usually some option that works. Overall, it's a good value for the price.
This place isn't that Insane. The only reason that I used to go to this place was because I had taken a Compulsory meal plan. Sometimes this place has good food. However for visitors I would say this is the best place with the appropriate price. got fed up of the food because I eat the same food daily
Pretty decent food at a decent price, the fact that you can eat as much as you would like is a huge bonus. Way better than 63 south, less crowded and a higher quality offering of food
Good food with a nice variety that’s a bit different than 63 south. The atmosphere was better and the decor was nicer and more modern.
I've eaten lunch here a few times when I took classes at UCF. It's fun to go with friends and offers a variety of staple menu items, ranging from pasta to pizza. It's a nice place to hang out when you're looking for a lot of different dining options that suit your party's diverse palates.
I really like most of the staff here (almost all of the Spanish speaking staff are super friendly and nice to talk to) beside a few that were just generally unhappy and avoided any form of conversation. Their food here is pretty decent for the most part but their rice is almost always undercooked and their chicken for the pasta bar is pretty gross tasting. However, their lasagna was extremely good and generally speaking their grilled chicken was always better than 63’ south. Their salad bar is also pretty good as well.
Buen servicio. Ambiente estudiantil
Decent selection of food
Not alot of variety
Typical buffet
The world's okay-est lunch option. Food is pretty basic, the service is fine, and the place is clean enough. But it's a college dining option. You get exactly what you expect.
Ok food. I like cafeteria food a lot but the mac & cheese had no cheese and the chickens couldn't be scrawnier. I want my kid eating some higher quality food tbh.
Not good not terrible, decent place to eat for a college student.
Decent food, good for college students.
It's a pretty decent college dining hall. The food is reasonably varied, and is of good quality. There is a pizza station, salad bar, vegan option, grill, desserts, and two daily specials. It's usually not busy, and is much less busy than 63 South. Overall, it's a good value for all-you-can-eat.
They open at 8 but till 9-10 they ain't got nothing ready. No coffee, no waffles, no orange juice. Just disappointing cuz I can't have breakfast before my classes start.
I like that it is not too crowded and the food is prepared properly. But, every time I go to the grilling station, they have nothing prepared. Albert (manager), you can do better at running your restaurant. It is time people held the management accountable to satisfy the customer's needs.
Cmon guys, are we serious? What’s crazy is that I almost didn’t get the second piece.
Quality of food is low.
Going downhill, too bad
(Edit: their ice cream machine seems to always be broken, and that unacceptable) It's a good place to study if you are a student in need of few distractions, but nobody else could gain anything by eating here, as the food is far too mediocre to be taken seriously.
Food is generally okay. Noise level is always high because the stereo is loud playing pop songs which often have bad words! Wish those bad pop songs won't be played any more and stereo should be in low volume. This gave me headache every single time I went there dining in
Knightros is another UCF dining hall and buffet offered on campus. There is an okay food selection (where there are repeated food items). However the food quality is not the best somethings are either bland, dry, or just gross and not the yummy for what you are paying for. The staff are pretty nice and the atmosphere is a bit dated here. Make sure to check your food to see if it is cooked all the way but overall it is not the worst of the worst for what you are paying for.
Been here a handful of times, and honestly, each time I'm more disappointed. Today, the girl at the main line literally put my veggies, rice, and chicken on top of each other, no separation whats so ever. She also didn't even bother to greet me back. All the people who were serving food just seemed clueless and lifeless. It was honestly a bit strange. I tried to go to short order, but there was nothing prepared. I was in a rush, so I guess that's partially my fault. There was no regular coffee when I tried to get some, just adding to the misery. Lastly, HOW ARE YOU GONNA HAVE DAILY WAFFLES AND NO BUTTER? I shouldn't have to ask the lady behind one of the counters to give me some, its should be there, NEXT TO THE SYRUP.
No variety in the food. The chicken for the sandwich is bad. The most fake chicken. The Pizza is normal and the salad. I felt in an hospital cafeteria, may be because the environment at night. I hope my comment helps to be better because it is a good location and has a good space.
I took the advice of some posters who said ok or fair. I took my family and it was a Friday. Started with the pizza still undercooked no flavor. Went to salad greens were old and soggy and dressing watered eaighh mean yukkk. Pasta cold and dry. Burger and fries I don't think a dog would eated it was cold and drindg with salt. I complained to manager. She said she make a new batch but not an improvement at all. Drink ( cold) were the only good item. Coffee like water and latte had not coffee. Hot chocolate had no chocolate in it. I didn't recommend it to anyone with taste. I see student with plate full but not eaten or maybe one or two bites. I call the management and I explained but since today was my second time. I see no improvement what so ever. And most employees don't seem like the want to be there. It is a shame.
Please check your food before you serve it. Not to mention there was a hair in my Mac and cheese
Horrible. Don't go.
so unbelievably trash, you will be significantly disappointed
The resultant of when UCF outsources their food services.
Food was terrible and a worker came to me and said, we're closing at 8 pm while I was eating. Rude! Too, before you pay, make sure they have food and not left overs.
My experience is usually good. There are a few servers that are extremely rude. I once had to wait about 15 minutes to get the attention of one of the servers she didn't seem to be doing anything that would require me to wait for her.
UCF Dining Services mistreats and discriminates against employees. All the management there are not qualified and professional
Bad deal from some restaurant workers. Bad experience will not be repeated
I’m a UCF student so I eat here regularly… The other day one of the Staff ran into my and spilled ketchup and sauce all down the front of my shirt and jeans - and then just walked away. Didn’t even apologize
Waited for cashier to figure out the cash register for a good 5 minutes waited another 5 minutes b4 the burger cook acknowledged me asked for fries with my burger was told there not making fries right now ( 2:15 in the afternoon ). Went to get soda and there was an out of service sign on it. My take on the experience is nobody wanted to do anything for the money they are making.
They said knightro’s is better than 63 south and since I had a bad experience there, I decided to go here. However, I was gravely disappointed to see that only water came out when I pressed hot chocolate at one of the drink machines. When I asked a cook about it, she referred me to the cashier who said, “we only have cold hot chocolate.” Well, that makes a lot of sense. Also, some of the plates are dirty. There’s like crusty yellow stuff on them. Idk what they be putting in our food, but it gave me bad diarrhea.
There was 4 sections and they were literally out of everything in each section. The only option for us to eat was a piece of pizza or a hamburger, or the casserole in the back that wasn’t even on a heater lol it was ice cold and super old. There was no lettuce, no desserts, no nothing. And the best part is shortly after we got a slice of pizza that was gone too. This was at 6pm too they don’t close till 9. Didn’t even ask for a refund though which is my fault I just wanted to leave so bad lol.
