Pal Campo Restaurant Orlando Reviews
Great experience at Pal Campo Restaurant. From the start, the service was friendly and attentive. Before going, I called to ask if I could bring my small dog and they said yes, which I really appreciated. Worth mentioning that my dog is very well-behaved, and they were still very welcoming. The food was excellent. We ordered plantains stuffed with shrimp and octopus, shrimp and octopus mofongo, and melted cheese with guava sauce, among other dishes — everything was very flavorful and well prepared. Great service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place.
The food was so good! We loved it. We got there around 6pm and were seated right away, was not too busy yet, but best if you reserve a table just in case as it gets busy pretty quick.
The very best place to get authentic delicious Puerto Rican food, it’s so pretty in here too. Drinks are cold service is great!
This is our family’s favorite stops each time we come up to the Orlando area. We typically order their passion fruit sangria (el jibarito) with some bacalaitos to start. My favorite meal though is the stuffed chicken with sweet plantain, cream cheese, with guava sauce wrapped in bacon with a side of rice mamposteao(this comes mixed with beans already) and tostones de pana(breadfruit)
A wonderful taste of Puerto Rico right in Orlando! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and generous portions. I ordered churrasco, arroz con gandules, mofongo, and a mixed salad, and every bite was perfect. The churrasco was tender and juicy, and the mofongo had that comforting homemade touch that makes you feel like you’re dining on the island. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is attentive. A must visit for anyone craving Puerto Rican cuisine!
Our first time trying Puerto Rican food and it did not disappoint. 4 of us came to Orlando for LPT Realty Conference and needed some good food after a long day of traveling. Our waiter recommended amazing dishes that were as delicious as beautifully presented. 3 of us has Mofongo (shrimp, beef and chicken) and 1 had a variety platter. So good! Fun decor as well.
This is hands down the best Puerto Rican food I’ve ever had — not even in my hometown Miami have I had food this good! Everything was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and made with so much love. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The portions are big enough to share if you want to. The place inside is like a small town in Puerto Rico. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to everyone I know!
The staff is fantastic; their food is amazing (sabrosa) and their servings are worth your money! . we went there three different times and each time we were impressed ; mi esposo de PR and he said the food brought him many happy memories from his time there as a kid!! Que Dios los bendiga a todos
Pal Campp Restaurant was recommended by a family friend and they didn't disappoint. The variety in the menu was just right and the flavor of the food was delicious. We were a party of six and with that the service was very good even with the restaurant being packed. I even tried something new which was the Sangria de Tamarindo and it perfect. The atmosphere was also lively with colorful decorations and live music. I recommend this restaurant for whoever want good and authentic Puertorican dishes. We are definitely coming back when we're back in Orlando.
I went there to get the octopus. It was very good. The service was great. They will take your picture if you would like a nice souvenir. We bought a pic for $25.
This PR restaurant truly delivers on the food and experience. Service was also great. We were a. Party of five and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that one of the dishes with Octopus had a bleach like smell which was likely spoilage. I had the conch Mofongo and two different types of alcapurrias and it was all great.
My family and I stopped to dine in while on vacation. Our large group of 10 was sat within the first 10 minutes of entering the restaurant. The place is beautifully decorated, great island music played at all times, making it suck a vibe. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. The food portions were very generous and everything looked and tasted great. I found it a bit too warm inside the restaurant, to the point where sweat was rolling down my back, and that's the only reason why I'm rating it 4 stars. Being uncomfortably hot kept me from truly enjoying my meal and the place. I'd visit again, just not in the summer. 🤣
I came here for my dad's 68th birthday. We came at dinner time and they were having construction going on. It was so loud and inconvenient we couldn't hear each other talk. We ask the manager to have them pause just for a short moment. It was non stop drill and saw and nail gun. And her response was well there's a sign outside that said we are under construction. We'll she lied there wasn't. The food was ok i had the mofongo relleno, my wife and son shared a fried snapper and dad dad also. And my brother and his wife had chimi and chuleta. For the mofongo I really wished they had a good butter garlic sauce. The garlic sauce they gave me had zero flavor. It looked like applesauce and a hint of garlic. Im not trying to be mean or petty. We drove over an hour to visit this place and it was a bust. The staff not manager were very nice and the place was very nostalgic and makes you want to book a flight to Puerto Rico.
The place is beautiful. The service was okay. The server kept disappearing and I had to ask where is she when I needed assistance. The platter below w the chicken, I specifically stated no octopus, just shrimp and I was not heard. It still arrived w octopus. Customers shld receive what they ask for. As a New Yorker that has gone to many restaurants I was pretty surprised about the service and lack of attention. Also, I ordered a dessert as we were celebrating birthdays and I was told we will not sing happy birthday. I was surprised. They were putting another price tag on dessert and to sing happy birthday. I never heard of this. I paid for the dessert, just no happy birthday song. Like I said, been to many restaurants and they were happy to sing happy birthday as we ordered dessert. A bit pricey for a place that lacks proper customer service attention. Let’s pay more attention to the customers. My dish not pictured was good. I would rate it a 3. I have been to many Puertoriguen restaurants, less pricier, great customer service, attention to detail. Btw I left a good tip as I know how to treat servers.
Tourist trap. We were a party of 8 (3 are Puerto Rican) for Christmas dinner. Friends were excited to bring us here. Lively and festive, the host sat us up steps knowing one of the members of our party could barely walk with a cane. Although it was moderately busy, the waiter took a while to take our order then took over 40 minutes to serve the food. Didn’t refill water either. The food was dry, somewhat stale, over-fried and overly salty. Steaks were chewy. Tostones were hard & dry. Chuletas were not prime. They were DRY, over-fried and nearly inedible. The worse part was the bill. I questioned the cost of the sangria I ordered because the waiter charged me $20 for a $8 glass. He insisted the tamarind was sangria. SCAM. Also 20% Gratuity was automatically added to our bill totaling $541!! I would NEVER return or recommend to anyone.
