I just randomly ate here before joining the Halloween Horror Nights event. This place has very bad reviews on Google, but imo, it was quite decent for an amusement park restaurant. I got the Aftershock Burger, which consists of fresh Angus beef patty, jalapeño bacon jam, fried onion stars, pepperjack cheese, American cheese, lettuce and BBQ sauce. The combo is 21.99 USD, and includes fries and a drink (no refills — each cup has a little RFID chip on the bottom to let the machine know if you’re eligible for a refill). I quite liked the jalapeño bacon jam as it gave the burger a nice sweetness, and it reminded me a bit of the Jollibee spaghetti. Fries were nice too, as they were crisp on the outside and felt like mashed potatoes on the inside — this is quite different than other fries that I’ve tried before. Overall, I really think this place is quite alright despite the bad ratings!

Angie was very friendly and helpful! The food was pretty good and the area is clean!

Quick and easy and well worth it for the shakes. We got grilled chicken sandwiches for something lighter to eat and then a chocolate shake to cool down. The chocolate in the shake was amazing. We went back twice because we had to have another one.

The food was delicious! Loved the truffle fries. They offer a gluten-free bun.

My son and I had the most wonderful experience at the park due to the manager Danny at Richter's Burgers. If it was not for his kind and thoughtful help we would had a dismal experience. I just wanted everyone to know that he went above and beyond what is expected of a manager. Thank you and know that you have a very special place in my families hearts because of your kindness and consideration of our "special" circumstance. Thank you again....I would recommend Richter's Burgers and knowing how helpful and kind the the staff can be I give 5 stars...

Ate there a couple weeks ago. Food was solid, standard burger and fries. Staff worked with us to have a dairy free burger, they made it separate and brought it out marked. Daughter also had a birthday park pin and got a free milkshake. Note if you get a drink, no refills.

K

Food was spectacular! Had the Mushroom Swiss Truffle Burger. The sauce on it was delicious and the fries were good. Service was fast too and there are Coca Cola machines to refill your drinks. The only thing is that it is pricey.

This is a yummy quick spot to stop for a bite. I feel it is really expensive for the amount of food you get. I got a cheeseburger drink (souviner cup) fries & a regular salad. I paid $47. The souvenir cup comes in handy if your hanging out at the park for the day cause the refills are free! The workers were helpful & friendly. The hamburger and fries were good but I feel the salad could have Been a little better. Other than that it was good. They had asked for us to leave early due to an event that was happening so they could get ready for it ( Halloween horror nights) & had brought us a free shake. So overall it was a good spot & well keep in mind when we're at the park again!

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten at any theme park.

When ordering I was just confirming that there was no sesame on their buns, was told by the manager that she would see to it that it remained safe for me. Also tasted really good. One of the most friendly allergy experiences I've ever had.

I'm surprised this has 3.3 stars. The prices everywhere are crazy, but I enjoyed our burger and fry combo. Hot, fresh, and there was a lot of space in the restaurant, even when the rest of the park was packed.

Can’t argue with the food here — a lovely, good-quality burger and fries, better than most theme park food, and the service was rapid. Headed here just before The Blues Brothers show and I must say it was one of the better places I ate, theme-park-wise.

D
Destiny Bultena

Food wasn’t bad, good for universal. I had the spicy chicken sandwhich was pretty good, the breading was falling off which is fine. Fries were ok. 7/10 overall. Very busy, but ordered and got food within 20 minutes

Richter’s Burger Co. is a solid choice for a quick bite inside Universal Studios Florida. The service was fast, and the food came out hot and fresh. The fries are well-seasoned and surprisingly good for a theme park spot. They also use the refillable Coke Freestyle machines, so it’s a convenient stop if you already have a refillable cup. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating makes it easy to find a place to sit and enjoy your meal.

S
Sarah Kelley

Food was decent, everything came out quickly. Just an average patty, but the fries were really good.

C
Chase Godwin

We have enjoyed this spot for a quick drink of water and a moment of air conditioning and sometimes we partake in the meals and snacks offered. They have an excellent menu for a quick bite including burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and milkshakes. Mel’s Drive-In across the pond is comparable, but you must choose the atmosphere that you desire the moment hunger strikes you

B
Brandon Dietz

The burger and chicken sandwich were ok, not the best. The chicken was really small but it tasted good. The shake was a typical soft-serve ice cream. It was all pretty mediocre. There are 4 freestyle machines so if you have refillable cups, you can use those. I also enjoyed the mobile order feature. I chose what I wanted on the app and scanned my annual pass for the discount. When I got to the restaurant, I chose my table and pressed "I'm here" in the app. When the food was ready, it was brought out to the table!

M
María Antonella Avalos

Plus: condiments were served buffet style Cons: the black bean burger had no taste at all

L
Lynn Hammelman

High price, of course. It would be nice it you got at least one refill on your very expensive drink. I got the chicken sandwich, it was dry. My husband got the cheeseburger. He said it was good. They came with fries which were good. They offered table service, which was nice.

This is located within Universal Studios Orlando. With that said the prices are high. Food tase good especially the chili cheese fries. Don't like being encouraged to order thru app because you have to create a profile, etc.

Clean location, food was good (the bacon jelly) made the burger for sure! Quick service, large area for eating.

I usually order a burger and truffle fries from Richter's and the food is always so good, and the service is great, they have many Coca-Cola refill drink machines that always have ice. Not bad for a theme park quick service restaurant.

Came in here to grab some food. You can not pay on cash. Online payment only. You scan the qrcode, and it pulls up the menu, and they bring your order to your table. The burger was average the fries were great. The milkshake was great.

C
Carly Moreno

The regular burgers were good but the grilled chicken one was very dry and difficult to eat. It's a mobile restaurant but you have to download the app, create an account, add a credit card as payment (you can't just simply enter the number at checkout) so it was a hassle to go through it just to place an order. If it at jar let you use a browser and type your credit card it would speed it up. Once you get past that, it's ok. We had a group of 13 so at least 5 of us had to go through all this to order.

A
Antonia Ysaguirre

The food is good but what really makes the restaurant was our server Skylease. She deserves a 5/5 for service. Food was a 4/5. But I would go back there to eat for sure. I would just like to compliment Skylease because she’s very helpful and kind. We went for our first time and she was just such a fun person with a great personality.

L
Lisa M

They reaaaally want you to use their mobile app. You have to order from your table, which has the table number on it. You'll have to enter that number. I wish the burger was as robust in quantity as it looked in the photo. The taste, however, of my mushroom truffle burger was quite good. Not to over cooked with some pink in the middle, as I like it (not made to order mind you). Chilli cheese fries was a nice quantity. As were the toppings.

c
caleb gilliam

Despite being a simple burger and fries, I'd recommend not skipping out on this place. The food was great, and every so often "the big one" goes off. The restaurant is themed after the massive San Francisco quake of 89. It actually has a second story you can go up and enjoy your meal while looking down on everyone else lol.

J
JayL

Stopped in to get a burger. The burger was good. Typical American joint though.

W
Warren Morlock

Use the app to order and they bring it to your table. If you have been to universal before you will appreciate the use of the app. So much better in the end.

C
Chase Vaseleou

Above average for theme park food. The shake was more soft serve than shake. Burger could use more truffle oil. Big portion

K
Kev Nowers

Fun place to stop, sit, and eat. Good food and better yet the service - friendliness and speed - is one of the best in the park that we experienced. I recommend sitting in the loft if it's available. Good view and not crowded. The shakes are basically a fast food ice cream yet it's cold and creamy.

E

Had the most greasy burger here a few years ago but the chilli cheese fries were good. Just expensive for the portion size

T

Fun place to eat while in the park. Nothing to knock your socks off, but decent nonetheless. The shake was basically just like ice cream.

It was a nice burguer, I'm just not used to these kind of prices, I ended up full and the taste was fine

My Son enjoys a cheese burger from Richter's when we visit the parks! 🍔 Followed by a chocolate chip cookies! We also purchased the mile high apple pie 🥧 and as you can see it's massive 😂

L
Lee Minett

They offer a decent sized burger (chicken and beef). The table online ordering is great, meaning that you just find a table, scan the QR code and it's delivered to you. They even apply AP discounts. Every now and again they'll be an earthquake, but you'll be safe.

Hamburguesas 🍔 Deliciosas.

THREE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️ | DECENT, BUT NOT A STANDOUT 🍔🤷‍♂️ We stopped by Richter’s Burger Company during our day at Universal Studios 🎢 and honestly… it was okay. Just okay. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing—right down the middle. I ordered a Caesar salad 🥗 and it was decent. Fresh enough, had a little crunch, dressing was fine, and it filled me up without making me feel heavy. Nothing to rave about, but I’d probably order it again if I was in a pinch. There were quite a few brown spots on the lettuce which I did not eat… The rest of the fam went with burgers and fries 🍔🍟—my wife and kids all said the same thing: “It’s alright.” No complaints, no excitement. Just solid, middle-of-the-road theme park food. Could’ve been hotter, could’ve been juicier, but again… nothing tragic. Now let’s talk about the seating area 🪑😬. Tables were dirty. Not just “a few crumbs” dirty—like, “had to wipe the whole thing down myself” dirty. I ended up cleaning off our table with napkins just so we could sit down and eat like human beings. Not ideal when you’re already tired, hot, and juggling trays of food with kids in tow 🧃👧👦. Overall vibe? Pretty basic. No theming that stood out, no service to speak of, and nothing memorable about the experience. Just a place to grab a quick bite and move on. Would I come back? 🤔 Maybe—if we were hungry and nearby. But I wouldn’t go out of my way. Bottom line: ✔️ Food: Serviceable ✔️ Cleanliness: Could be WAY better 🧼🚫 ✔️ Experience: Meh ✔️ Would I recommend? Only if you’re in a hurry and not picky.

It cute restaurant and good seat outdoor. The burger was 5 out of 10. We enjoyed seat outside in front of lake.. The burger was not good enough for me with that price IBut it's OK at Universal studio

It's a nice place to get out of the heat and have a good burger. My issue is that for $21.99, I was hoping for a larger burger. It was delicious but small. And, I couldn't refill my drink that they had no covers for. All- in-all, it was a nice experience - just flipping pricey! Blessings

j
james northey

The burger was good just don’t get the combo unless you want really watered down soda. Also, don’t come in when it’s busy they told me earlier it was a 45 min wait! So, went back later in the evening not that long of a wait at all

m
magicjake7

Came here while visiting universal. Setup is very customer friendly, seat yourself and order through QR. They will bring your food to you. Soda was $5 with no refills and water was $6. Burger was made quickly, cooked well done and fairly dry. We had mushroom swiss, counted about 4 mishrooms per burger. Pleasant atmosphere. Overall, prices are high for sub par food.

S

Stopped here for some lunch. We placed an online order for dining in and it took almost an hour for two burgers and fries. I was a little disappointed because one burger wasn’t cooked all the way. Nothing like waiting for a long time for uncooked food for $50 I was totally not impressed at all.

F
FloRee

Burger is alright. 2 complaints. 1. Golden gate fries is a scam. It is a lot more expensive if changing to it in a combo, but it is just regular fires with some cheese and bacon on top. 2. You can only fill the cup ONCE.

L
Lorena Solis

Service was good. Ordered online, through the universal app, clicked prepare my order, scanned the table and they brought the food to us. No pics this time, it was a ordinary burger and fries wi^ a drink for $20. Bit priced.

K
Kimberly PL

As it's in Universal it's always busy. Be prepared to wait for a table as it is crowded with little to no movement room from table to table. Food was subpar for the price. We got 2 bacon burgers, 2 sides of fries, and a veggie burger. The cheese on all the burgers weren't even melted, the veggie burger was a bit cold and honestly not worth it. The fries were absolutely delicious, and the service was nice. Be ready to wait a long period for food though, again that just has to do with being at Universal. Would I go there again? Yes, but not for a meal; only fries and maybe a drink. Also be ready for pigeons to fly around inside and walk up to you for food. 😂

J
Jason Bogacz

Fun place to eat, the theming is cool. The food itself is decent but nothing that makes ya say wow. The cheese sauce is always the deciding factor for us. It's a great addition to the fries. Shakes are good. Service is decent.

E
E C

We were waiting for 30 minutes. The service was very slow. The burgers were served cold and the milkshake was served with no straw.

H
Hannah Upham

Mediocre at best. It is decent for theme park food. I got “The Big One” hamburger ($15) and the patty was super thick, but the rest wasn’t too bad. The fries were good. Everything was very overpriced (one water bottle was $5.50), but then again you’ll be paying those prices anywhere in the park.

A
Andrew Magnotta

The burgers here are pretty average overall. Perhaps a little better than your typical quick service burger, but the prices are quite high for what it is.

Y
Yourstrulyphebee

Very disappointed in this place. NUMBER 1 we waited in line to be seated which took 15 minutes, NUMBER 2 when my partner and I were seated we had to download the “Universal studios app” because that is the only way you can order, I had no problem doing that, however my partner struggled immensely to not only download the app, but create an account, and then search for the restaurant then order our food. NUMBER 3 we sat and waited for our subpar burger for 45 minutes!! We Get faster service at MCDONALDS! The atmosphere isn’t the worst but not the best either. All in all, to order food from this place is a nightmare for anyone that isn’t tech savy. The staff was nice and that’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars.

M
Matt B

The food wasn't bad and the service wasn't bad. The issue was the squirrel that was running around and trying to take people food. The staff was informed but they just watched it. We saw it poop and pee on tables. One staff even said to one couple. The squirrel is bothering you? And then walked away. One of the staff came from behind the counter and watched it for a moment and then went back behind the counter as if nothing was happening.

C
Chardaè Jones

Probably should've checked the reviews before checking this place out but I was so hungry. This isn't even the world's most okayest burger because nothing about a huge dry burger that sat under a warming light is okay. I just kept chewing hoping it would get better but it did not. I did however like that the fries were made to order but to have a restaurant and have burger in the name and they're cooked and put under a warming light is bold. The service is just okay. As the order was wrong initially. I did like the theme of the place giving it a earthquake theme added a little ambiance but I don't think I would eat here again. It wasn't good.

I
Iverson M

I visited on Halloween night. The first thing I was greeted by, was one of the workers becoming frustrated and yelling at customers. You can only order through the mobile app and get the food delivered to your table. You are forced to download the universal app and add A payment method. The worker was becoming frustrated because people were trying to order up at the front. Despite the burger being called the big one, it was not very big. The burger was pretty bland and tasted like a frozen patty. My meal came with a “shake” in reality, it was just machine soft serve put into a cup. The food was underwhelming. It was about $40 for a burger meal with a shake and a chicken sandwich with fries. The service was fast when it came to the actual order itself. The worker at the front getting frustrated with the customers ruined the experience for me.

M
Mathieu Gariepy

The food was fair, this much I will give it to them, but the delay to receive it was unnaceptable. For such a condensed menu it is not normal to wait 45 minutes for 4 burgers and a chili fry. As for the ambiance, while I did not personally enjoy it, it can be exactly to some people's taste, so please take this grade with a grain of salt.

b
bib fortuna

Lukewarm food that probably wpuld have tasted decent at some point. Was not a busy time. So many employees all just standing about. Food came out quick but that's because it was just sitting there. I mean make it hot again or something. It has ac in there and it was clean at least.

N
Natalie Fremont

I just there and had to write this review asap! First I want to say that staff were friendly and polite but waiting 35 minutes for two burgers is why I can’t give 5 stars for service. Now about these burgers…I don’t know who stole the burger recipe from the dept of education but it’s giving school lunch. I saw fries being tossed but yet my fries were unsalted. How is that possible? If you want a lid on your drink I hope you have one of those novelty cups because you won’t be getting one there. And if you thought about getting a refill you better think again. Their soda machines read the barcodes on the cups and that’s how they’ll deny your refills. This whole experience was just horrible and paying over $43 for two mediocre meals is ridiculous.

B
Be The Vibe

This is only getting two starts for the topping bar, the fries, and the shakes. The burger was inedible.

J
Jean-Luc St-Laurent

We were looking for something quick to eat, the initial service (Cashier) was great, fast and attentive to our order. While we were waiting at our table for our food we noticed the food bussing staff to be very slow moving, there was only one during the busiest time that we could see, to the point that there were people trying to go get their own food while the kitchen hot plate got backed up. Upon receiving our food we mentioned that we had upgraded a side on the meal, after a brief moment we received our upgrade and thanked the server who bused our food and received a “mhmm”. The food was also lukewarm, although we still enjoyed the burger. There was much more to view from the service although this about sums up our experience.

C
Christopher Rosado

We stood in line for about 45 minutes just to be seated. After being seated it took almost an hour and a half for our 5 meals to be delivered. If the meals were intricate I could understand but they were bacon cheeseburgers and fries only. No way should it have taken that long. Food was not worth the wait.

R
Rachel

Burger and fries were good, the giant cookie was cold and stale, the service was decent, but you can’t get drink refills here. Look out for the random earthquakes that make a loud boom, we were not expecting this and it sounded like a bomb going off.

J
Jen G

Buns were stale tasting, meat was very very dry. Mushroom Swiss burger was very off tasting on top of the stale bun and dry meat, I normally love that type of burger but I could barely force myself to eat half of it. While it was very busy, which was normal for the time of day we went, I was ok with waiting the time it took to get the food and every person that worked there we talked to was so very nice and wonderful given how packed and busy it was. But the food was definitely not worth the price you pay for it at all. Had no kids menu or sizes.

T
Tiffany Dionne

I was enjoying my food until I found hair in both my burger and my fries. My head is shaved sooooo it’s definitely not mine. Pretty disappointed.

S
Steph G

Burgers are dry but big. Shakes are great but paper straws make it hard to enjoy. I asked an employee to bring a spoon and more mustard, which never made it. Price was outrageous for the quality. Really disappointing. I could’ve had a whopper at the BK in city walk, it would’ve been better and half the price. Won’t return.

B
Brittany Gibbons

Listen, you’re going to pay infinity dollars to eat at the park, might as well find a better place to do it. We got four burgers and our bill was over $80 and it took almost 40 minutes to get them. They were mediocre at best, and dry as hell at best. What they don’t actually tell you here is that the best course of action is to find a table, scan the QR code on the table, mobile order, and they’ll bring your food. Don’t wait in line. You’ll be standing there forever and they’ll constantly remind you how in the way you are.

M
Mike Sorensen

The food is average and slightly below average. You would think of a place where you spend $100 to enter, they would have some decent food. They would only take cash, when I asked about credit cards I said well we can take it if you don't have cash.

H
Hoa - Vivian Pham

Saturday mid-afternoon - helpful staff got us seated at a table for 6 after a reasonable 15 minutes wait from the door. We had put in a mobile order. Took well over 30 minutes to get our order of 3 sandwiches. We had to go to the counter and get our order, instead of the staff bringing the food to our table. Chicken sandwiches were fine and fries were okay too. Serviceable lunch food. Nothing outstanding. Will not return. The kitchen needs to improve turnaround time.

d

Burger was dry but fair. The biggest disappointment was for a twenty one dollar value meal, You don't get a refill on your drink. The cup your coded, so you can't go back and get a second drink. This is Universal they got ti get every dollar.

T
True Blessings

We came to Richters after realizing Lombards no longer sell the fried fish. We were unpleasantly surprised about the food. The drink cups have a sensor that only allows you to fill the cup 1x. (No refills) The fries were good but the burger patty had an odor. The odor was more like a dead body when it first starts to rot. (Nurse here) I couldn't eat it. Im sorry but this place is over rated and over priced.

Just really bad. The burger was like almost warm and made me not feel great. This is why i always tell people to eat at City walk. At epic they fixed the bad food problem but at the old universal parks it still exists.

Awful experience. Waited in line for 45 minutes, was sat with zero instruction. We figured out we had to order online, that download took forever with zero cell service on the second floor . By that time we waited in another line to actually order the food just to be told they gave our table away because it took to long to order. We were unable to order after 1 hour of wait time because we didn’t have a table number. Ridiculous system, never again!

b

Its cold. The workers are pretty nice, but not very helpful. The “milkshakes” are just soft serves inside of a CUP. The “consistency of their machine” just spews out pure soft serve ice cream. The food is generic, but the fries are good. Literally just go somewhere else. Not worth it at all.

J
Jesus Emilio Sanchez, REALTOR

Terrible experience, bought 6 hamburgers, fries and drinks (NO REFILL) for $160 and they were dry and beef did not taste good. I wouldn’t choose this restaurant while on universal. I wish I can have a refund, we had to literally throw away half of the food. No one finish the dish.

2nd time I have eaten there. I will not eat here again! Food is so dry, could not eat chicken sandwich it was like rubber. Do not recommend, too many other choices.

Z
Z

Slow, dirty, employees standing around, walked past 20 tables before finding one that’s not filthy to wipe down. Asked for burger to be well done, due to dietary restrictions. Received an all pink burger. Apple Maps shows 1.4, better rating than google. This is the worst food place in all universal, islands, and boardwalk. Not worth it, don’t recommend will never eat at this place again, terrible!

c
claudia

Messed up order like 3 times, we ordered 3 burgers and received three extra ones that were unwanted and not ordered. The cheese sauce and maybe the burger as well gave me food poisoning and made me felt sick the entire day. Workers were kind but the food was not the best at all. My burger was overcooked and very dry, and my brothers’ was too undercooked and tasted like blood. I do not recommend stopping here and would recommend the taco place in the simpson part of the park or literally any restaurant except this one and the pizza place as well

C
Christopher Carroll

Well after waiting on line for about 45 minutes, we get seated and order our food. When we got our food these were some of the driest burgers and buns I've ever had..literally. Even the kids didn't finish eating their burgers. The fries however were decent.. We also ordered the brownie Sunday and the brownie was horrible. And to top it off we weren't allowed refills. Definitely won't ever go back to this place

Z
Zeraphil

This is absolutely awful even for theme park food. You’re better off getting a corn dog from the stand right across this place. You are probably better off eating paper from the bathroom because that is what the bread tastes like. The chilli fries taste like week old nacho sauce with meat scooped up from the river. If I could give this place negative five stars I could. I won’t get into the cluster mess that was ordering or getting a table.

M
M B

DONT SPEND YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!! We ordered at our table and waited over an hour and 10 min for our food. There was only one elder lady running food from the completion counter. Food was sitting for about 5-10 min under no heating lamp or anyone watching the food. Customers were going to the counter picking up their food because of the entirely full counter. When inquiring about our order we were told another 25 min. I immediately said to cancel and refund the almost 100$ bill for 3 burgers and miraculously he said “well your order is right here” mind u cold burgers cheese not melting at all. Chilli cheese fries were good I’ll give it that. But save yourself and eat ANYWHERE but here

It's a scam ! I paid $18 for leaves of salad and 3 pieces of chicken + 1 soft drink. Don't go there.

Our experience at Universal was overall positive—five great experiences—but unfortunately, one absolutely terrible one that left a lasting negative impression: Richter Burger. From the start, the experience was frustrating. We waited nearly 20 minutes just to place an order, only to be told we had to use the app due to “issues.” After placing our order through the app, staff reassured us that our food would “be out quick.” Instead, we waited an additional 44 minutes—as confirmed by the app’s timestamp. To make matters worse, the restaurant only had two high chairs for the entire establishment, creating an unnecessary struggle for families. The food itself was mediocre at best, but after dealing with restless, hungry kids while staff repeatedly told us “just a few more minutes,” it was impossible to enjoy. The only unbiased takeaway? A $5 charge for a tiny squirt of aioli is absurd. We won’t be returning and strongly recommend others find food elsewhere. For three meals—one of which was shared between two kids due to an app issue preventing access to the kids’ menu—we paid $75. Absolutely not worth it. If this review spares even one person from experiencing this disaster, it’ll be worth writing.

HORRIBLE!! The chicken breast sandwich is basically dried jerky, how a cook can mess up chicken breast that bad is beyond me. My 10yr old can cook better than these "cooks". We had 3 chicken sandwiches and 3 burgers, everything was so dry and over cooked. The fries surprisingly were under cooked a bit. Not sure who's running this kitchen, but they might need to find a different job. Waste of money! Do not eat here!! Drinks are also only 1 fill, can't refill your cup while dining in!! Total scam and especially at $20+ a meal!

This place is absolute garbage. It took 45 minutes for my family of six to get their food and the burgers were extremely overcooked. If we weren’t running short on time, I would have sent everything back. The restaurant was extremely dirty. Their staff was unhelpful and lacked the typical hospitality you’d expect from Universal. Also, one-time use cups are a bad look, Universal. That’s unbelievably cheap on your part. If your child knocks their drink over it’s an ordeal to get another drink. If I could give this place a negative rating I would, so a 1/5 will have to do.

Lucky if you ever get your food. Complete lack of care for customers and impossible to get any help. Only upside is that there are cool statues in the building. More of a photo opportunity than a half decent restaurant.

Please do not come here thinking it’s a fast food/order. The service is super duper slow. This is the slowest service I’ve been through, slower than your dining experience in Paris. We ordered online, order went through but they will not start your order until you are seated in which you will wait in the line. After you put your table online that they will prepare your food. We waited for 20 mins to follow up our order but the food service crew said that it will take 40 mins. I am done with my review but the food still not here. I regret coming here.

it is like a warzone trying to find a seat. some guy insulted me and my group because he wanted the seats we were in. it’s all because of the ordering system, leaving some seats empty but taken at the same time. if some kind soul hadn’t given us his seat, we’d have just had to leave. if i could give the service zero stars, i would. it sucks.

Universal really does not care about quality. The worst 20 burger with only 1 drink, no refills. You are paying a premium and getting garbage back. It's disgusting that the company allowed this probably out of greed knowing most of their client base won't ever be back.

B
Ben Shumway

They claim to let you order ahead but it’s a lie. If you order ahead then when you show up they make you wait in line, and then they don’t even start your order until you sit down. In a theme park when you’re on the go you don’t have the time. The line took 15 minutes and the food took an hour to come out! And when we complained the guy didn’t even apologize.

S
Samantha Castillo

Wanted to come here and avoid waiting for a sit down restaurant. BIG MISTAKE. Took 45 minutes to get three chicken sandwiches and fries. And we only get one cup of soda (the machine actually prevents you from getting a refill, we didn’t realize so we had nothing to drink when our food was finally done). Average sandwiches at best

M
Mike Denning

Got the All-American burger and to call it flavorless would be an understatement. Not seasoned or salted, very overcooked, it tasted like nothing. The fries were fresh, but they don’t give you many and the drinks have no refills, despite a combo being $20+ Absolutely horrendous food and value

Friendly staff but food is waaaaaaaay overpriced, burger was very dry and bland. Fries were hot and tasty though, although a small quantity. I'd give it a pass

One of the worse burgers I ever had. I ordered the regular and beyond versions, both burgers were disgusting. The regular, had this off flavor, and the buns were super dry, and tasted bad. Beyond burgers was the worse, in top of having a really dry bread, the beyond meat tasted like plastic meat, I have try plant based burgers before and in general they are okay, but this one tasted like if you took the burger straight from a can. Not recommended

Service is absolutely terrible. We were order number two-352 on Christmas Day at about 7:30 p.m. . The cashier Quashane W.was absolutely numb, told her Merry Christmas and she completely ignored us and look straight ahead like a zombie, tried to make small talk like thank you or anything else and got absolutely nothing from her. Very stoic and should not be in customer service even as a cashier. We would not recommend this place to anybody based on the customer service. I had a wait at the counter to get some small packets of barbecue sauce and mustard that were behind a wall at the counter that I could see but I didn't want to reach over because it was their area. After not getting any response and people walking by, I just reached over the small wall got the stuff myself. This place definitely needs some customer service. We at another place and the staff will phenomenal here at universal studios.

Wow! I don’t complain bout theme park prices but how hard is it to NOT overcook the chicken and dry out the fries. And do you really not see that the tomato got sat on by schreck?! Have some PRIDE!! Pretty sure chick fil e serves more than u guys do at lunch and it’s real food. For less than half the price.

As a chicken sandwich conisseur . The hot Cheeto sandwich was quite literally one of the worst if not the worst I’ve ever had . Terrible .

P
Paul Pelletier

8 employees with 3 orders standing around doing nothing. Meanwhile the box filled with ketchup packets is disgusting. I grabbed some ketchup packets and they stuck to my hand. When I said something to the 2 employees standing there watching me peel the ketchup packets off my hand, I said to them someone should clean these ketchup packets off. They both turned around and ignored me. The fries were cold. Obviously been under the heat lamp for a long time due to only a few people in the restaurant. The fries should have been thrown out. Disgusting place and rude unhelpful staff. AVOID THIS PLACE. I would suggest you find a manager that knows how to run a restaurant and know how to manage employees to be attentive to customers as well as give them tasks to due when business is slow instead of having everyone stand around and ignore customers when they have a valid concern. MAYBE THE MANAGER SHOULD GRAB SOME KETCHUP PACKETS AND EXPERIENCE WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE DEALING WITH, WHILE YOUR EMPLOYEES TURN THERE BACK ON A VALID CUSTOMER CONCERN.

if you want mediocre ration-size meals for 20 bucks, this is your place! i was amazed by how long it took for such little food to be made, it certainly is some kind of talent! and the whole earthquake gimmick is a wonderful distraction from the fault line they leave in your wallet! overall it's a great place if you're looking to lose a few pounds (of cash) with just a small sandwich!

Richter’s Burger Company – Universal Orlando Honestly, this place was a huge disappointment. For being located inside Universal, I expected something at least halfway decent, but this was one of the worst burger spots I’ve been to in a while. The customer service was terrible — the associates seemed far more interested in chatting with each other than actually helping guests. No sense of urgency, no professionalism, and definitely no teamwork. It really felt like management was nowhere to be found because there was absolutely no supervision or leadership visible anywhere. As for the food… I don’t even know how to explain it. The beef patty didn’t taste like real meat at all — it had that strange, processed flavor and an odd texture that made it hard to even finish. The fries were lukewarm and bland, and everything just felt like it had been sitting out way too long. For the price you pay inside a theme park, you’d expect at least something fresh or flavorful, but this was the total opposite. The atmosphere didn’t help either. The whole place feels outdated and dull, like it hasn’t had a proper update or deep clean in years. The tables were sticky, and the overall vibe just screamed “we don’t care.” Honestly, this restaurant is in desperate need of a remodel — or better yet, a full overhaul with new management and staff who actually care about providing decent service and quality food. If you’re at Universal and craving a burger, I’d recommend skipping this place altogether. There are far better food options in the park that are worth your time and money. Richter’s Burger Company is just not it.

unfortunately the burger was so nasty for the price $20 you would think you’re getting a great burger esp since it’s in universal but i’ve come to the conclusion these amusement parks just don’t have good burgers cause i had this same problem in disney none of them were good tasted like frozen processed junk… not to mention my burger was super pink last night did not even eat it. bacon looked and taste super weird too. wish i had taken pictures or cared more cause i should have gotten a refund.

I ordered one combo and one plate but received the same food for both. Later, I got a drink, and when I tried to sample a new flavor by filling about 10% of the cup, the machine wouldn’t let me fill it any further. Very disappointing.

Mal servicio. Te atienden de malos modales. La comida tarda en llegar. Había un pelo adentro de una hamburguesa. Y la otra hamburguesa vino media cruda. Mala experiencia.

Esta zona conecta con otras áreas notables como Hollywood, Production Central, New York y el aclamado The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley.

Universal's Islands of Adventure
