In love with this spot! Wish we could take it back to the UK with us 🥹 Everything was so fresh, flavourful and comforting. This would be the perfect place to come if you'd had a bad day and you needed a hug in food form! The staff were lovely too 🤗 best meal we've had in Amsterdam, highly recommend! ❤️

Best ramen & gyozas in town, with very kind staff and authentic athmosphere. So good the first time I forgot to take a picture, so this was my second meal: I love gyozas and theirs will always bring comfort to me with Saudade ❤️ 5* don't waste time, just go!

I went for dinner tonight with my husband and, as always, we left very happy! I’ve lived in Sapporo, and this is the best ramen spot I’ve found in Amsterdam, not far from home. Great food, great service and friendly staff.

oh wow, really really good ramen! flavours are insanely good! service is also very kind. recommend the chicken broth, I judged it would be a bit flavourless, but how happy I am to be 100% wrong.

NYAMIIIIII!! Super richhh broth and chicken omg <3 in this cold weather it’s a perfecttt dinner !! Went here with my friend and ask for a table for 2 and when we got there turns out our friend want to join as well so we ask for another chair for the 3 of us and they manage it so well!! The service is soooo niceee & kind ♥️♥️ also the food is top notchhhhh you need to try their chicken ramen for sureeee (it’s proven by the queues every night as well) but theiir place is quite small sooo better to reserve or come early (outside peak hour!)

Amazing full of flavor ramen! The place is small but very cozy and the waitresses are really nice. Bonus for the perfectly crispy gyozas:)

Very impressed by the atmosphere and food. The staff was friendly and gave us good advice on spciness levels. As you can see from the picture, the ramen looked good, full of taste and well flavoured. Also it's located in a convenient area and it's easy to reach by public transport & bike.

Absolutely amazing food! Found by accident and decided to walk in, without regrets. All ingredientes are fresh, well cooked and delicious. Shout out to the homemade tea! Highly recommended!

Almost everything I'm in Amsterdam, I hit this spot for delicious ramen. The place is small but warm and lively and is definitely worth the wait. Tonight was black garlic ramen, gyoza and mint tea. Perfection to end a chilly, rainy day in the 'Dam.

Amazing Ramen Soup. Cold day go and have some Ramen. I visited this restaurant with my friend. It’s traditional & exceptional.

Great menu with a wide selection of ramen toppings plus curry and gyoza to choose from. We started with the fried shrimp, edamame and vegetable gyoza which were all lovely - especially the crispy sides on the gyoza. For mains we got the curry, miso ebi karage ramen and spicy miso ebi ramen. The curry plate was enormous and came with soup and a seaweed salad. Very delicious. The ramen was fantastic - big portion but not intimidating. Great tasting broth and perfect noodles. We were tempted by the tiramisu jars but not too sold on them. Tasted oddly chemical?? But the black sesame ice-cream was delicious and we left very happy.

Great ramen and super fast service. I come here often and it never disappoints. The staff is nice and attentive all the time. A bit overpriced but it’s right in the center. A must if you are near Dam and need a quick ramen.

Tasted the mala noukou ramen, which is spicy but not a lot. Also ordered teriyaki wantan shoyu ramen. Both soups were very tasty. Good quantity of ingredients and good price!!

An awesome bowl of ramen on a cold early afternoon, simply made my day! Ordered the Butatama Miso Ramen. Not overly savoury soup stock, great deal of pork and garnishes. Overall a balanced bowl of ramen goodness! Delish!

Very cozy for a rainy day or cold night in Amsterdam. The ramen is really good. It was my first time trying ramen and I am so glad it was at Takumi. I ordered the Teriyaki Miso Ramen. The chicken was super flavorful and so was the “soup”. Although some might find it a bit pricey (around 15€), it truly leaves you full and satisfied. Totally worth it.

Top restaurant for Ramen or Japanese kitchen. Very random finding during our stroll and it was worth it! Few seats always ready for new visitors so we had luck with during Saturday peak hours. Food was delicious and probably one of the best ramens I had. Polite waitresses and nice atmosphere inside with lots of decor. Will try to come back again 👌

Really cute ramen kitchen. I’m new to the ramen scene but I loved it this place. We also got some sides that were delicious too. It gets very busy very quickly so expect to queue for a seat! We luckily got there just before the rush. Despite being entirely full the service was top notch and very quick.

We were told it would be a 30min wait, so left our name and walked for a drink. We returned 10min later and were sat as soon as we walked up. The food was delicious and service very friendly and punctual. I would recommend! It was just a quick ride over on the 7 and would come again if we were in town longer. Thank you!

Very nice small ramen restaurant. They offer a variety of ramen dishes, including vegetarian ones. Our meals, that were delivered to the table without a long waiting time, were prettily arranged and delicious. I will definitely eat there again on my next visit to Amsterdam.

We were here for the quick snack. You cannot find a table without reservation usually all is booked but we asked for a table for only 30 minutes so found a bar table in this way. Dumplings were really delicious 😋 next time we’ll try ramen of course! 🙈

We went to Takumi Ramen close to closing time and they were really accommodating. They were able to sit us quickly and told us that we could dine in despite the restaurant closing soon. There were plentiful of halal options which included all the grilled chicken. In addition the food was delicious and flavorful. Ramen had a great texture and the broth was really good. They went above and beyond because they forgot to put a dish for the kitchen and they offered a drink on the house. We kindly declined the drink but they ended up bringing us a plate of teriyaki chicken on the house. I would recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam to go to this restaurant. Amazing food and Amazing staff.

Great service! Waiters are very polite and it took around 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Excellent variety of choices, suitable for vegan eaters as well! The restaurant is cozy but a bit cramped as well so keep this in mind and make a reservation before coming to eat here to make sure you will be seated. The ramen portion was not impressive and the spicy ramen was not as spicy as it was in the other location of this chain, but nevertheless it was tasty!

Great experience here at Takumi Amsterdam! I’ve already tried the brand in Brussels, but unfortunately it wasn’t that good. The ramen are tasty and full of flavor, and the team is super friendly! It gets a bit noisy when crowded, but nothing too disturbing.

V

You better call and book a spot because it can be very busy. Food is amazing, there are some positions of ramen which you can order only by this place. Creamy ramens. Love it but sometimes you need to mix it well because some spices can lay down on bottom of the bowl. Service is really fast, nice and friendly.

I have tried a couple of different locations of Takumi and they are always nice and yummy! The staff is also always nice and helpful and the food is delicious. The broth js rich and delicious and the noodles and toppings are also always amazing. Very filling with a very good price as well. We got the miso soup with noodles and chicken and tempura on the side which were super crispy and yummy

Ramen is good but I like the chicken curry. Way better than those in Wasabi or Wagamama! Dumpling taste a bit dry maybe putting in some more fat will make it more juicy. Will visit again when next in Amsterdam.

This was the very first place where I tried ramen — and thanks to you, I instantly fell in love with this dish. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, making it feel like a little hidden gem tucked away on one of the most picturesque streets in the city. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and attentive, which only adds to the overall experience. Every visit here felt special, and I’ll always carry warm memories of this place in my heart.

First of all, the service was amazing! The people there were so sweet and passionate about their job. The food was so delicious, and it actually filled me up really well. I had the spicy ramen so I had a bit of a runny nose, and when I made eye contact with a waitress they came over straight away to get me another tissue, THIS IS SO SWEET! Overall, 10/10, im so glad I came.

Went for a snack on a Tuesday around 1:30 and there was no wait to be seated. Note - sit closer to the kitchen so you can feel the AC - seats closer to the window are very warm. The special chicken ramen was very good. Never had a chicken based ramen that was so rich and creamy. Noodles were good too. Service is sick and very pleasant. Recommended!

Great comfort food, we really liked the gyozas and the ramen was tasty (i didn’t really like the thick texture of the meat but it was ok). The staff is really nice and the place seems ro be very popular, always in high demand.

Attentive and friendly staff and good ramen. I personally enjoyed both the broth and the thickness of the noodles. I had the mala ramen and it was very very close to its Chinese malatag sister in terms of the soup flavour :) pork also tasted great! Their ramen definitely hit the spot a rainy day! Karage was also quite good!

Takumi Ramen Kitchen in Amsterdam De Pijp offers a decent dining experience but falls short of expectations for authentic ramen. While the ramen was flavorful, it lacked the depth and quality you’d expect—it felt more like instant noodles than a truly crafted bowl of ramen. That being said, the other dishes were enjoyable, and the overall flavors were pleasant. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was efficient, which added to the experience. If you’re looking for a quick, casual meal with Japanese-inspired flavors, this place could work, but if you’re seeking authentic ramen, you might be disappointed. Overall, it’s a good spot for casual dining, but the ramen itself doesn’t live up to traditional standards, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars.

An intimate and cozy restaurant, absolutely packed during lunch on a brilliantly sunny sunday. The place was recommended to me by a good friend who frequents the restaurant due to its amazing ramen and window seating overlooking the busy streets. Service was swift, welcoming and attentive, as most good places are. Waiting time at the time was around 10 min. We got the window seat and we were very giddy about it. We like to people watch. Food came out quickly and it was all great! My tiny tiny caveat was that the teriyaki chicken, albeit was with brown meat, the meat was not as juicy as I had hoped. The ramen was good, but it did not excite my palate as much as I had hoped. The matcha ice cream was great however! It was just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the slight bitter undertone of matcha, with some crunch from the cookie/biscuit crumble, while the ice cream melts into the soft chewiness of red beans. Atmosphere was great. Nothing to complain or comment on. The interior was decorated in a japanese style, and everything was wooden. Oh, the chopsticks are reusable and they have fish scale design! Overall, a great experience, amazing pricing especially for the food portions.

So I just found my favourite new Ramen and Gyoza place in Amsterdam!!! Ambience: (5/5) Clean, lots of seating, great mix of single and larger tables. Good set of Japanese music in the background, not too loud but adds to the ambience. The images on the wall are great. Service: (5/5) Quick and responsive. One of the better service I have experienced here in Amsterdam. Food: (5/5) Loved it!!! Okay, so I ordered the spicier of the food since the Indian in me craved the spice. But the Spicy Mala Gyoza and the Spicy fried Chicken (Spicy okonomi Kara-Age) was incredible. But if I was to pick one, I would go with the Gyoza. So well made. The coating was perfectly crunchy while the filling was very flavourful. The touch of coriander on the top added the right amount of freshness to the dish. Excellent presentation and overall flavour notes. I will have to come back for the Ramen and add to this review. Summary: (5/5) Totally worth the visit if you are into asian food or looking for some great spicy food. Highly recommended in the Pijp area. Drop by, you will not regret it!!! Update: (5/5) Love the Ramen even more!! Just get here and you will love it. Brilliant food and brilliant service. You can’t ask for more!! Update: (5/5) The pick-up is extremely well done. The service is quick and the precautions are great. Loved the packaging and made it easy to sit outside and actually enjoy the food. Have added photos.

I love this place! It’s one of my favorite spots in De Pijp. The food is absolutely delicious, and I especially love their side dishes and ramen. The staff are so kind and friendly that you leave with a smile after your meal. I definitely recommend it! (The portions are quite generous—we usually share one ramen between two people.)

🍜 cozy japanese restaurant for couples or singles. The ambience is chill and quiet. We ordered 2 ramen, takoyaki and water. Everything was delicious. The menu has vegetarian options. 🤑 the bill was 48.95 euros. 👍 service was friendly. ♿️ not suitable for people with restricted mobility, the place is small and there are stairs to the restrooms.

Cute little restaurant in the city! Carefull the place is often full since it attracts many customer due to the quality of the food! So you don't have to be afraid of the noise. They have many choices of ramen, the spicy kara-ebi was a true delight! I wish I tried their curry as well which looked just as tasty. I recommend their hot green tea which is served in a small tea pot.

We ordered takoyaki, it was very good, and the breaded shrimp too. We ordered one with miso and the other with shoyu ramen, they were good but it came with too much onion and it didn't work for my taste.

Good Ramen restaurant. They have delicious takoyaki that I like a lot :) The menu is quite interesting, there is no classic ramen like simple 'shoyu ramen', but dishes like ' teriyaki chicken miso ramen', feel like the chefs are trying to make some innovations. The ramen tastes good, I was satisfied with what I got, but nothing special or beyond expectation.

HELLO FOODIES🤪 Today I have @ for you guys It's a small cozy restaurant you don’t need to make a reservation to enter, when I entered the restaurant was PACKED I needed to wait like 15min until I could have a seat. My ramen had fried ebi in it, yes you heard me right INMYRAMEN I would advise you this if you order the same ramen I did. When they bring you the bowl immediately remove the fried ebi from the soup, set it a side to maintain the crispy crunchy texture of the fried ebi😉! Their Ramen menu is big a lot of different kind of ramen bowls all of their dishes apart from their gyozas are halal the broth was flavorful and the portion was perfect. Overall a nice ramen spot. My order: 📃 Karaage ( Fried chicken ) 📃 Spicy ebi furay Miso ramen ( nr 8 on the menu )

Exceptional ramen shop with very nice service. Ramen is great, my favourite is the one with chicken karaage and tiger shrimps! Also, the set with gyoza and karaage with a mini miso soup is very good for lunch! Enjoy 😉

The ramen here is really tasty. I enjoyed it but I wish there were a few more options for plant-based diets! My main critique is regarding the size of the restaurant. Unfortunately it is very cramped inside and as a dining party of 3, we were crammed at a table that barely fit our food. I recommend coming here during the week or simply getting take-away.

H
Hynde

The ramen was very good. I ordered the one with scampi and chicken karaage. The service was also excellent, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. However, the price is quite high for ramen (18 euros) and the quantity too large. Unfortunately, almost all of us didn't finish our plates.

Takumi Ramen Kitchen - A Solid Experience with a Delicious Surprise The ramen was well-balanced and flavourful, definitely enjoyable. The gyoza were okay, nothing particularly special but decent overall. The real highlight of the meal, however, were the Takoyaki (octopus balls). They were absolutely delicious and stood out as something unique and memorable. A nice spot if you're looking for a reliable bowl of ramen with a tasty surprise on the side.

service was quick & attentive. they had sold out of their limited top 2 options by the time we got there! the chicken based broth was clear, hearty, & refreshing, but needed the pepper blend at the table (personal preference). chicken was a bit too oily in comparison. noodles had the perfect bite to them. egg was jammy in the middle but cooked on the outside overall a great spot for decent ramen, but nothing standout!

A
Ahmed Alrowaili

I honestly thought it would be something out of this world with all the hype but for my personal reference it was not good at all in terms of taste. However, my wife loved her spicy miso teryaki ramen. While I had so much expectation for the curry chicken I was extremely disappointed with the look and taste of chicken, it was dark skinful and mushy and I did not like it at all, but to be fair the rice and curry sauce were good. Atmosphere gives new york’s soho vibes which is nice and the service along with the staff were amazing.

A

Tasty ramen, but I did not particularly enjoy the quality of the noodles. I am cutting another star because we ordered take-away and we waited outside, in the cold, for 40 minutes, in order to get 2 ramens and one portion of edamame... in their defence all the tables were full and outside we had 2 more persons in the waiting line for food delivery. Nevertheless, when we asked how long it will take they said 10-15 min, after 20 min we asked again and they said just 10 more min, but we ended up waiting for 40 min. I feel bad to give a low raiting because of one time experience, but if I will want to try their food again I will for sure go to a different location as they have more around town.

I ordered Takumi de pijp for delivery today (Wednesday) as I am nearby. Food was delivered VERY fast, thanks Uber Eats. But so fast that I know nothing was prepared fresh, and it was all ready cooked and prepared. We ordered Spicy Ebi Kushi Kara Age ramen and Spicy teriyaki miso ramen. The broths were the same for both, and tasted not very good and not spicy at all. The noodle quality is subpar, offering a cheap store-bought taste. The fried chicken in the Spicy Ebi Kushi ramen was good. I feel it would be better served dry as an appetizer. Everything else was okay, but "okay" is not worth €42. We would not dine with Takumi Ramen Kitchen again.

Unfortunately I was unimpressed with the flavor especially for the price… however it came out hot and I finished the food

The shop is equipped with air conditioning, so if you need refuge on a hot day, come here! The food was lovely, and I got a side of takoyaki, which I was craving. The portion sizes are satisfying, and some could say a little too much. I can’t say it’s the best ramen in the city, but it’s a lovely little place with great staff!

From the perspective of a ramen enthusiast born and raised in Japan, If this was the last ramen I'd ever eat, I'd never rest in peace.

Despite them claiming this was authentic ramen, it really wasn't. Starting with the broth which lacked the multi layered flavors required. It had some richness and salt but no vinegar, no sweet, no three dimensions. The most disappointing were the noodles which were totally overcooked, broken and had zero flavor and no bite. The char sui was fine, but cut too thick for authentic ramen. The egg wasn't poached in shoyu for long enough. Overall, very average.

Very good service and the place is super cool. I ordered sushi. I think the portion is really small for the price and there was not many options for combos. My friends liked the ramen, and there were plenty of flavors :)

The food is good but it has nothing to do with ramen! The soup is too thin and too bland. We got the miso based soup and we could hardly taste any miso it tasted like water with steamed veggies. We got the takoyaki balls and they didn’t taste fresh and didn’t have any vegetables inside. The gyoza was good

I’m out sure what the big hype is about this place. Surely there are more Ramen places in Amsterdam serving more delicious ramen with bigger portions. I was craving Ramen and came in for lunch. I was quite disappointed with the service but then the Ramen came and the bowl was half full! 18eu for Ramen and I left hungry. I thought the portions were too small. The broth was okay, but could be better.

I’m sad to give this rating because my partner and I enjoyed the food, but the customer experience was not adequate at all. We went to Takumi Ramen Kitchen for a celebration dinner, but only one of us got our ramen. My partner was waiting for mine to arrive before eating, but after almost 10 minutes, I insisted he start before his ramen got cold. He almost finished it before the waitress came to check in on us and, after checking with the kitchen staff, informed us that there had been a mix-up in the kitchen and my ramen was only now being prepared. My partner ended up finishing his ramen while I was still waiting. He then asked how much longer it would be, and after the waitress once again checked with the kitchen staff, I finally got my ramen. At that point, it was now my partner’s turn to watch me eat. Unfortunate because we were really looking forward to our celebration dinner together, but we ended up eating separately. From my experience, it is common courtesy for a restaurant to at least offer some form of compensation, whether it be a dessert on the house or your starter for free. At Takumi Ramen Kitchen, it was just a simple “sorry.” No ownership, empathy or attempt to rectify the situation. To Takumi Ramen Kitchen, please remember that while you see hundreds of faces every week, your customers see only you and our experiences leave lasting impressions.

This is not a review about the quality of the food, which is great, it is a complain about how we were treated. We had a table for two when there were still other tables available and immediately the waitress, following company policy, told us that we only had 1 hour to eat. That feels completely unnecessary and leads to not enjoying your meal because of the imposed rush. Horrible policy, we won't be visiting ever again.

I ordered spicy teriyaki miso ramen and i couldn’t eat it! Soup was extremely untasteful, chicken was smelling like that it’s not fresh, noodles were like bought from supermarkt! And even though they saw i didn’t touch my dish and they charged me full and didn’t say sorry or anything. Only defended themselves as “our cook said everything is good and the same, maybe your taste is…” and she didn’t finish the answer! Shameful ramen, more shameful service!
